MoonRunners Truck

I dined at the Moon Runners Food Truck at the New Hope Valley Railway. Service was friendly and the food was prepared fairly quickly. I liked the brisket sliders but was disappointed with the funnel fries. The portion was small and just not very flavorful for $6.I'd eat from the food truck again and try some of the other menu items.

If you've been to the Moon Runners restaurant, then the truck is a must try. Their menu on the truck is different from the one at their restaurant, but that just kept me coming back to try new things. I ordered the brisket melt and upgraded the fries to their apple pie moonshine gravy fries, and I'm so happy I did. Do not miss out on this opportunity. Those fries are heavenly. I feel like the belt is missing something, like some crispy onion rings or something to add a texture change to the sandwich, but overall, it is delicious. This food truck is definitely worth a try if you see them out and about.

I tried this truck when it came to campus and was thoroughly impressed. We got their last order of brisket, which I was surprised. They either don't make much of it or were really busy that one hr before I came. The ribs were so tender and flavorful. I loved the sauce that was smothered on them and the brisket sliders were also so good and tender and delicious. The fries were also super crispy. Definitely enjoyed and would eat again

Had lunch a couple times from these guys, both times were great. The meatloaf on a stick was really good, big slab of meatloaf wrapped in bacon charred up good on the grill and glazed with their moonshine sauce, very flavorful. The brisket sandwich on ciabatta bread was very nice also, topped with Coca Cola caramelized onions and the moonshine bbq sauce, would definitely get both of these items again. They also have a restaurant location.

Food Truck Time: MoonRunners Truck at Bombshell Beer CompanyMoonRunners Saloon in Garner can be quite the hike for some so now there is a food truck for you to try. The truck features Jon Taffer since the restaurant was on the show Bar Rescue [as it was previously failing as Characters Quarters but is now a success story for the show]. The catfish on a stick and chips was only $8, this menu selection was both filling and good. I also really liked the baja corn nuggets; however, they are $9 and very overpriced in my opinion. In the end, this truck has a wide variety of opens so check it out.

Had the chicken wings with fries- both excellent. They have good fries. Also had the brisket sandwich with fries topped with gravy. The fries are great alone. The sandwich was filling and really good. The prices for the amount of food you receive is a good bang for your buck.

Good food and service! But the French fries are awesome! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. As we were done eating, and full, people started to tell us how good the funnel fries are. Have to get that next time.

Just got the chicken sausage with jalapeno bacon and some fries. Quick and VERY tasty!!

I have been to the food truck numerous times. I try to order something new each time, I have several favorites. My #1 is smoked brisket sliders with prohibition sauces and glaze caramelized onions on the brioche buns, it come with 3 and they are quit tasty and can be shared, add some FF and a cold drink.. and can you say heaven.. My second favorite is MaMa's bourbon bacon wrapped Meatloaf on a stick.. what a fun way to bring back good old fashioned comfort food, with a twist!! I look forward to trying everything on the menu. I felt the pricing was fare and I got a lot of bank for my buck!! Great job to the owners of MoonRunners Food Truck for a fun food experience.

3 stars for service ...food is average nothing exceptional. Brisket sliders are good. Fish on stick is over priced for one fish stick and average fries...the ribs are over done ..have potential but along way to go..needs to re think amount vs price unless quality becomes excellent
