Monkey's Tail

I love the drinks here especially the pepino sour/shot. I crave it sometimes. The drinks are reasonably priced. My only complaint is parking is a pain very small parking lot I always end up parking along the street.

The pride of the northside in Lindale Park! This is a great little bar and eatery in the HTX! They serve a range of cocktails and beers so there is something for everyone. You can't go wrong with any of them. The food is also delicious. There are your typical menu items like burgers and fries (both delicious!) along wings and tacos. This place is counter service only. You order food and drink at the counter and then grab your seats. There are two great patios- one overlooking Fulton and a great back patio. These will be great once the weather cools off a bit. This place is fun and a regular stop when I'm back in the HTX.

Drinks and food amazing!!!Came for steak night on a Monday had a blast and the food was so delicious I wasn't expecting to be this good at a bar. The patio is pretty big and they play the most fun and cool Latin music, the specialty cocktails they have are worth it! Try the mezcal margarita

The staff was kind and the location near the tracks was neat, but I did not love the cocktails, and I also felt like the fans were blowing (very loudly) on the outdoor patio, when the weather did not really require them to be on in the first place. On the inside, I did think it looked nice, but it wasn't the most comfortable seating arrangement.

First time to stop by - but not the last!Bartenders and waitstaff were SUPER nice and personable.Beer was cold. Salsa and guacamole were delish - took some of the house salsa home (delish!).Lots of seating in and out. Definitely adding this to my places to go.

Love this chill bar!Both indoor and outdoor seating! Even nicer on a good day with cool weather. They serve very good and strong drinks. Margaritas were on point and strong! Fairly nice pricing as well.They also have a variety of food/snacks to eat. Their chips and red salsa is bomb! They have a happy hour mon-fri 4-7pm with a variety of cocktails and wine. Pretty good pizza and wings, as well as their tacos. Quick and quality service! Parking- they have a very small lot or you can park in the neighborhood on the sides near by Music was also great on a Saturday! Dress code: is casual, guys can wear hats

Pleasantly surprised about this bar. Fire Cocktails x Dive Bar x Street Food. Very casual with great drinks and great tacos. The servers were great and knowledgeable about the Cocktails.Try the pastor or barbacoa tacos as well as the pizza with either of these meats...yummm.Cocktails: crafted well. Also the frozens weren't regular frozens...I saw a frozen with allspice as 1 of the ingredients; they mean BUSINESS about their drinks

Love this place and the amazing service we always get! I appreciate the way Josh always takes care of our group! Monkey's Tail has become our Monday , Friday, and every night stop! The drinks are great, but the queso is next level. I always order it with the chicharrones for the crunch!The crowd is always lively!

Great drinks at a great price!!! So glad they finally opened back up... have been missing my pepino shots!!! The vibe is good, they currently have food trucks, kitchen not open .... Music is good !! Perfect spot to hang out with friends

Went for happy hour and absolutely loved it! Great drinks, good food at the food truck outside (they even brought the food to our table inside). We sat at a table and had to order all drinks at the bar. They did not serve us at a the table so we had to go up for each round. The kitchen was closed so food was only available at the food truck. Happy hour was from 5-7 Monday to Friday. Pics of the menu posted. Definitely coming back!
