I finally had the chance to come back to Mommy Telly's. The bbq stand is back after a hiatus from Covid. Both Chicken and Pork BBQ options are still so good . Just like I remember. It won't disappoint. It's cash or Venmo. It's $8. You'll find the vendor north of Market st on 33rd. It's in the heart of Drexel's campus. You can't miss Mommy Telly's bcz it's right before the pedestrian walk parallel to market st.

The Mommy Telly's hype is real!! The Filipino BBQ reminds me exactly of my Tita's. For $7 you get a sizable portion of chicken BBQ over rice and a bottle of water. There can be a bit of a wait on busy days but it's totally worth it. If you're near Drexel you need to give it a try.

Stopped by for lunch on the recommendation of a friend today - this was an awesome meal!Price: solid compared to other food trucks in the area, $8 for the comboQuantity: not massive like other places but sufficient to fill for lunchtimeFood: delicious! Definitely get it with hot sauce and onions as it cuts through the meat. The pork was the best part so honestly I'll be getting pork meal next time instead of the combo Wait: the line was long during lunchtime and it ended up being about a 15 minute wait. However this was at peak lunch hour and there was seating that was set up at the front of the line which relieved the end of our wait.

This food truck really reminds me that there are good people left in this world! Jay is one of the most sweetest person ever! Once a month he has free food for anyone which, is something I didn't know until last week when me and my co-workers went to get some food. Not only does he do this but when you pay for the food vis Venmo he comments on everyone of them thanking his customers! The food itself is super worth it as well. There are two options either chicken which, is $5 or the pork which, is $6. The meal comes with water so you dob't have to worry about your beverage. On top of the meal you pick he offers to put onions and hot sauce which, is something I recommend because it just makes it taste 10 times better. The food is good and the customer service is fantastic!

My heart (and tummy) is happy that this place exists, and it's so close to where I work! The food is good, it makes me miss traditional filipino food so much. Philly is so limited in it's Filipino food options. Only tip is that Jay makes everything to order so you gotta give yourself some time. If there's a line of about 3-4 people then your food will probably be ready in 10-15 minutes. They accept venmo so not having cash isn't an excuse to not go here. :)

Almost forgot to get a quick snap of my food!First of all let me say, I'm so glad to see the diversity growing amongst food vendors on campus! Once I saw this little truck I had to try it. Didn't disappoint! Perfect for a quick meal. Different than other chicken rice bowls! Very clean and flavorful. It comes with rice, a good helping of marinated / grilled meat topped off with thinly sliced Spanish onion, (vinegary hot sauce if wanted) and scallions.

Best food truck in Philly hands down. Price is good for how much food and meat you get. The meat and rice are so juicy. This is the only food truck I return to. Also he accepts Venmo which is such a plus!!!

Best place to stop by to get your lunch. It is $7 for chicken over rice, which comes along with a water bottle. Jay is a very nice guy whom you can talk to. Jay accepts Venmo and Cash. It is the best Filipino food that I have ever tried on Drexel campus.

Great food, fresh bbq with a lot of flavor profile - NOT a monotone bbq that tastes just of bottles bbq sauce. I would eat ear more often if I could. Also, the guy that works there Jay is super friendly.
