Molly's Pub

Come to shoot a game of pool. Had to use the restroom first. No toilet paper? Wow Other than that, the place looked pretty clean and decent.

My office had a Christmas party here and the pub was able to reserve tables for us. I was told the previous place burned down so this pub was newly built. It was nice, spacious and clean. The bar was fully stocked. The waitress served me right away when I came in. They give you the option to start a tab (since it is a bar) or pay in cash. I didn't drink but had their chicken tender basket. It came with 5 HUGE tenders and a whole lot of fries. I couldn't finish. I shared some with a coworker and took the rest home for my daughter. It was really good. I also ordered the grilled chicken burger to-go for my husband. He enjoyed it. Everything came out in a timely manner. My coworkers all seemed to enjoy their drinks and food as well. I wouldn't mind going back for a drink when I can drink again and also for burgers, appetizers or chicken tenders again.

I hadn't been out with girlfriends in months! I recently had a baby and was back at work. So work and baby and house and just life has me too busy to make some girl time. Well, my friends and I finally scheduled it! We chose Molly's in Tomball because it's on my way home from work and down the street from them. I got there before they did and sat at the bar. The bartender (female, dark hair, glasses and tribal tattoo) asked me what I wanted to drink. Since I hadn't been drinking because of the baby I decided I'd stick with just beer. So I said "l'm going to get a beer, do you have a beer. Do you have a beer menu?" As I'm grabbing a menu. She said that's the food menu and looked at me like I'm a dumb ass. So I said oh sorry what type of beers do you have? She pointed to her right and gestured with an opened arm and hand "these are them." She was short and rude.

Great neighborhood bar. Kitchen is ran by a Mexican restaurant now. They have classic bar good and Mexican food. Great patio with karaoke Wednesday and Saturday. Inside is nice and non smoking pool tables ping pong and darts. Bar staff is always great.

A 5 star rating would be because of the Thanksgiving Day visit. Very nice and attentive bartender. There was a pot luck for customers. We didn't partake but the lone bartender was SO great. She took care of us and talked us thru the mixing of drinks for other people. She was very warm and personable. We returned the next night but she wasn't there. Our visit on Friday the 26th is the the rating of ONE star. We waited for several minutes and finally got noticed by the TWO bartenders. They acted angry and not interested in serving drinks. The man came to me and angrily asked If I had given the woman bartender the $20 to pay for a drink. He had been at the POS was told by her that I had payed for my drink. This seemed to be the same all along the bar after watching them. My group and the other couple near us experienced the same thing......... Angry Bartenders.... My niece has been a long time bartender at a high end steakhouse and hours visiting with her and her faithful customers has made me more aware of what should be done for everyone. No matter the size of people or types of their relationships.

Another review for your reading pleasure, Molly's Pub....Slow service, had to ask a group of folks shooting the breeze behind the bar if they were serving today, after that got asked every 5 minutes if we needed anything? Food isn't something special, Fish and chips were both frozen and reheated in the deep fryer, the Shepard pie had lots of room for improvement...bland taste with some sort of over bearing spice we couldn't identify. Giving the place 3 Stars because of its decor, new and clean! Not a place I'd recommend for lunch....but a cold beer would be fine

Mollys has gotten much better. When I first moved to tomball around 10 years ago it was a biker bar full of smoke. Now it's a much nicer place. Food is good, beer is cold!

Other than the smoke on the patio, the service, the drinks and the karaoke on Wednesday is awesome!

Lash is great! She is working non-stop. Great atmosphere for a cold drink and great service.

We are on the road over the holidays and being a member of the Omaha Squad I thought you might find information on a very different Reuben Sandwich to be of interest.Being a relative local to Tomball, TX for many years we have watched Molly's go through plenty of tribulations, fires and all sorts of calamities but it has continued to grow into being one of our most favorite locations for lunch, a large choice of adult beverages on tap doesn't hurt, either.Molly's offers some very unusual and tasty sandwiches and one of my favorite is their personal spin on the Reuben, which they carry too. It's called...wait for it, drum roll..."Molly's Reuben" and it is sincerely worth a try.They make several changes to the normal ingredients but the biggest game changer is their use of a beer cheese sauce versus the Swiss cheese. It imparts a very rich and more of a smokey taste versus that of the Swiss. A true delight.So if you are ever cruising down Business 249 in Tomball, TX, swing on in to Molly's for a respite that I am certain you will enjoy.Peace out.
