Mo Better Chicken

2nd time coming... I decided to come a bit earlier than the last time. Came right after lunch but before dinner, and the food was hot, fresh, and no crowd! I actually got a chance to see how spacious the place actually is where you can sit down and eat. The rolls were surprisingly delicious and better than the cornbread. Candied yams, baked chicken with a little gravy on top, fried chicken, green beans, rice and gravy, sucatash...EVERYTHING was delicious! But just like last time, they are a little heavy on the salt.

Soul food like your gramma makes. I ordered a 2 chicken meal which was honestly enough for 2 people. The chicken was seasoned well and hot. Loved the Mac and cheese. The service was slow but personable. I just know they'll be a wait next time. Whether you sit in or carry out, you'll be served in a styrofoam container. There was a fee on my bill that wasn't initially disclosed. That's the only hiccup. Ask about that.

Oh my GAWD... I made sure to taste EVERYTHING I had before writing this review! I ordered lemon pepper wings, Mac & cheese and a veggie plate (cabbage, collards and dressing). Don't judge me...I was hungry! THE POINT...is the food was in flavor and readiness and culture preservation!

Food a bit on the salty side but some of the best Soul food in the area. Prices are great too!

We continuously allow businesses to come in to our communities and provide poor service. The customer service is poor, the cashiers are slow and rude. They never put everything you order in the bag and to be honest the food is mediocre at best. The best thing on the menu is the boss wings. We always try to patronize new and especially black owned businesses in the community but I will not be returning. This is what my veggie plate looked like and I had to come back for the fries and cornbread.

Great food and the crew of people who worked here were the best. I had the smothered chicken and my parents had the fish. Both were really good.

Me and my boyfriend pulled up at the drive thru. We wanted to try something new. We were looking at the menu & the cashier was screaming at us saying "PULL UP TO THE WINDOW" my boyfriend told her that we still haven't decided what we want. She yelled again "PLEASE PULL UP" we pulled up to the window & she ask us what we wanted....we explained to her that we didn't get a chance to look at the menu. She said the speaker was broken. So we had to drive back around just to see the menu. We finally decided what we wanted and drove to the window. She walked up & ask us what we wanted again. We said that we wanted a wing combo and shrimp/tender combo. But we didn't use the name of the food we use the numbers so she literally had to look up & see what a number 1&3 was. She then told us that They don't have anymore chicken, shrimp, or anything that needs to be fried. ‍‍then she said she can GIVE US THE OLD CHICKEN THEY HAD OUT FOR A WHILE ..... yeah we said no thank you. She literally got mad said "have a good one" & SLAMMED THE WINDOW... excuse me! Thats our first & last time!

I went first time 5/7/2023..I was so excited. It took to long to get our food.My son ordered a breast thigh,wing.didnt get the thigh and half wing.The macaroni /cheese was horrible,the greens ok,dressing ok Yams were horrible!Not going back.

Food was just what I needed and how I needed it would go back flavor was within range and the restaurant had drive through if I'mNot mistaken

The chicken and sides are great I love it! BUT DO NOT ORDER THE SHRIMP. It's that frozen fake flat crap they sell at the wing spots. It's horrible! It's not good and not worth the price. I ordered it on Uber eats and I wish I could have taken it back and got a refund. I expected the shrimp to be freshly battered and fried just like the chicken! My sides were good but I'm TOTALLY DISSATISFIED with the shrimp.
