This spot is certainly a hidden gem! My friend recently ordered some bites for delivery and wow was I surprised by the quality and flavors Miyako had to offer. To start, I'll say their tuna tartare is a must. The portion, the offering the flavors wow 5 stars for that on its own. Loaded with tuna, cucumber, scallions, sesame oil and blue corn chips on the side it can definitely serve as your entire meal -- it's so filling and delicious! We ordered a few sushi rolls and tiraditos too and they were all filled with flavors. From the protein roll to the Miyako roll we were left fighting for the last bites in each! While I didn't get a chance to enjoy the service or check out the spot for myself -- I've been looking forward to checking it out in person next time I'm in Doral.

Our next family food adventure take us to Miyako Doral Japanese Restaurant & Sushi bar with a category of 4.5 and more than 1,086 reviews located in Doral, this place is a combination of two different cuisines, the Japanese with Peruvian influence, which makes it more interesting and tempting to try.This restaurant makes a difference, my opinion is that a delicious and exquisite sushi does not need any kind of sauce to improve its flavor, actually that takes away the flavor of each ingredient with which it was made. that make the perfect combination for your palate to explode and be an unforgettable experience which will make you return.Our waitress Alicia, professional in her work, all the recommendations were the best, thanks for such good customer service.

If you expect decent Japanese food, then this is definitely not the place. I'm not talking about quality michelin Japanese food, but this is not even close to it unfortunately.I got the blistered shishito peppers, it tasted decent because literally it's charred and salted. You really can't screw it up.For entree, I ordered the ramen ($17). It's a rainy day outside so why not? When it was served, I had a sip of the broth and surprise surprise, it's INSTANT RAMEN, not Japanese Ramen you'd expect from a Japanese ramen place. I think it's very irresponsible of the restaurant to not clarify that and very misleading. They just added some carrots, onions, eggs (which isn't even the Japanese marinated soft-boiled egg as you can see).

Came here literally because it was walking distance and BOY O BOY! DEELISH! lots of creative dishes sushi was fresh and rice was amazing. Service not as on point but It gets a 5 based off food alone. I would definitely go again definitely not in a rush though come here when you have time and I don't remember waitress name but maybe a different waitress will be more attentive and at least bring some water to wash down the wonderful food

I did not know this place existed! Let me rephrase that, I've passed by it several times without knowing it was there. And it was Yelp that helped me discover this popular and well-known spot several sushi dishes. I did take a risk here by not ordering sushi from the menu. I decided to go with the ramen soup since I was in the mood for ramen and it was a little underwhelming and not as salty which I really appreciate but the flavors were absolutely lacking. Another reason why I decided to go for the unusual selection here is because I did order an appetizer of the rocoto shrimp which was presented inside wonton chips and greens which was pretty cool and new to me to try out. I did find the lettuce to be quite dry but adding just a little bit of soy sauce dressing made it amazing, it was the missing component in an already amazing dish. Really enjoyed the appetizer and the service which were the highlights of this stop to Miyako Doral.

After much back and forth my bf and I decided on sushi last night. Miyako is about 5 min from our house so we said why not? We are always down to try a new spot. The location can definitely fool you and does the inside no justice. The place is very nice. They have a section for very traditional Japanese eating where you sit on the floor and the other half is regular tables and chairs. To drink we each had a beer. I had the Miyako Doral and it was very refreshing and light. We started off with the truffle edamame and they were great. The truffle was not overwhelming and complimented the edamame perfectly. For dinner my bf had the Boss roll which he was very satisfied with and looked amazing. I had Bibimbap bowl which was very filling and delicious. We ended with the Banana Tempura which could have possibly used some more tempura but it was delicious and came with vanilla ice cream. Over all great experience!

Miyako Doral is a solid spot that ranks high on my takeout rotation.When I'm craving sushi it's usually chirashi or some sort of sashimi, and the chirashi from Miyako is excellent. It's always fresh with a huge portion of fish.More recently I tried the sashimi salad which has salmon, tuna, and avocado. It comes with ginger dressing and is pretty big. I couldn't finish mine, and kept leftovers for lunch the next day. I also ordered a JB roll which was BOGO on UberEats and a miso soup.Will definitely continue to order from them!

This is my new favorite sushi restaurant in Doral! We ordered edamame, tartar, gyozas, red kryptonite roll, and miyako roll. To drink, I ordered a mocktail: spicy sunrise, which had chamoy, and it was delicious! For dessert, we ordered the brownie with ice cream, and it was really good too. Honestly, I love this place. I'm hoping to go again soon because it was so good. The service was great, and I went on a Sunday when the place was not packed at all, which made the ambiance great too! We sat in a booth so we could cross our legs, which was so comfy to eat this way and had plenty of room. Definitely a must in Doral.
