Service was excellent. The food not as good. Terriyaki was boiled chicken breast with a little drizzle of sauce. They boiled the chicken too long so parts of chicken was extra chewy and tasted yuck! The salad dressing was runny. The miso soup was very salty. It was not a good experience. Will not be returning.

Thanks to the girl I was dating, I discovered this gem during my visit to Houston. It turns out, this place is a family favorite for her and her two sisters and mom - and I can see why! The location is convenient, nestled near other common stores. The ambiance is welcoming, and the friendly waitresses added to the positive experience. To my surprise, the ramen here was top-notch, proving that Houston has its own hidden ramen treasures. I had an enjoyable time with her and her two kids, making it a memorable outing. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal with a touch of family warmth!

This place is awesome!!!!Incredible food!I can't believe I just now tried it. I highly recommend the combo fried rice with chicken, shrimp, and beef. Very affordable priced and can easily feed two adults.

4 stars for the food but I had to deduct 1 star & I'll explain why towards the end of the review. The decor was nice, the inside was cozy & overall pretty clean for the most part. I decided to get the seaweed salad as an appetizer & the spicy tonkotsu ramen as the main course. I'll start with the salad, horrible presentation, plating looked rushed & sloppy but taste wise, I'll say it was textbook good. My tonkostu was solid, flavors were there in the broth & I got the numbness from the spice. The chashu pork was not tendered as how I would have liked it but everything else in the bowl was fine. Alright, now I'll explain why it's a 3 stars instead of a 4. Everyone seem overwhelmed & you can see it on their faces. My server was cleaning something that was dropped on the floor with a rag & didn't wash her hands after she was finished & then she brought the salad to me. Granted she touch the plate & not the food itself but whenever you're cleaning something especially if it's on the ground, wash your hands. Overall food was good & service was fine. Will I come back? Yeah.

Miya feels like an upscale ramen restaurant due to the clean decor and brighter atmosphere provided by the large windows. The service is quick and convenient, and the waiters are attentive, but do not hover! When it comes to the food, I almost always get the Miya Special Ramen which is absolutely DIVINE. I always had chili oil, but a little goes a long way. This ramen is my absolute favorite ramen to eat.

food was alright, but i ordered the japanese bento box and it barely came with any rice and what looked to be ground beef. definitely not $14 worth of food. my husband ordered a $10 item and got twice the amount of food as me. when i told the server i didn't like it, she told me she called the boss to confirm i was out of luck and its too bad they couldn't switch it with anything else. never coming here again. terrible service and poor management.

Ramen was bland. The food was partially cold. The Korean and the spicy Korean bar seafood was like two cayenne pepper tasted like just spice. There was really no flavor. Only gave us one egg should've given us like three. I could honestly make Ramen at home way better with some Ramen because I do it all the time anyways.

I really love this place.Best App: Spicy Edamame - These are grilled with a spicy sauce for a very interesting flavor. Slight char and spice with edamame. Easy win.Best Soup: The Curry soup is always great. Our son also loves the noodles here so that is normally how we roll as a family. The bento-ish boxes are also nice and sometimes I grab the Yugi (sp?) beef which is also quite good.
