Mission BBQ

This is one impressive spot from what I could make of it 20 minutes before closing. The staff friendly and helpful, prompt and efficient. The place is decorated in honor of all those who have served in some way, on and off the field near and afar. The BBQ ribs were slamming good falling off the bone and the sauce options didn't disappoint (6 of them) they were all incredibly tasty. The pulled chicken was just as flavorful and juicy too. Cornbread tasted like dessert. I'm a fan. Au Revoir= 'til I return!!

Pork bbq sandwich with slaw on top with your choice of a variety of homemade sauces is my favorite. The meat is tender, seasoned perfectly. My side was baked beans w/brisket; love the flavor. A greeter comes around to assure us if we didn't like what we had, you can order another item. At the end, to our surprise, a browie was served to our table. I suggest to check out the monitor playing on the wall showing veterans and first responders.

What an awesome experience - from the first step in, you are greeted with a genuine smile... Friendly, knowledgeable and a true desire to serve. And as I picked up my order, Dakota greeted me, offered her name, used my name and offered additional recommendations. There were 5 in our party and each enjoyed their food - OMG, the BRISKET was to die for! The only disagreement among the family was WHICH delicious sauce to choose from!Ps. All empty plates here! And happy souls!

1st time trying this restaurant while in town..good food and service..the Cashier (Tori) was friendly and helpful...would recommend!

Let me tell yall something, this place is good. from the customer service to the sauces. i will be coming back. The pulled pork is amazing, they give you different types of sauces. I put vinegar on mine mixed with the pork and mac and cheese, it's literally heaven. The Lady who checked us out has a great attitude, she was amazing. As you can see from the photo i'm bussing down on it. Will 100% be back!

Service at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic.Along the walls are lots of unit patches and various memorabilia for those that were in the military to see. The first time I went. I had their ribs and I basically judge a barbecue place by how wel they do on their ribs. Theirs did not disappoint one bit. Just the right mix of fat to meat that the ribs were extremely juicy.More recently, my son brought take out home from them. And among that was brisket periodI've had brisket from all over the country. And this brisket was absolutely spot on. d I make my own brisket. This was better than my own.

What a Gem! Best barbecue ever. I had the brisket (8 oz), companions had the pulled pork sandwich, the ribs and the combo plate (pulled pork, brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage). It was all "the best I have ever had!" Service was spot on and food came out very quickly. Seven different sauces on the table to try. We ended up buying two to take home. The place is clean, decorated with lots of military and first responder insignia. Highly recommending them. We will definitely be back for more.

An excellent restaurant to savor NC BBQ. The mac and cheese was outstanding. The best creamy Mac and cheese around that I have tasted. Don't miss out.

From the greeting and menu explanation to the last bite of food this was what Carolina BBQ is supposed to be. I say Carolina due to the ribs and collards. The brisket is put up against most Texas BBQ. Wife had smoked turkey and brisket. I had the BBQ shrimp and Ribs. Shrimp was fantastic and the ribs were cooked to perfection. Sides were Mac and cheese and the collards. These collards were Granny collards. Best I've had since my father cooked using her recipe. All in all a great dining experience.

This was my first time and will be the last. I asked if the "meat" came with one side or two assuming based on the price. It was explained it was a weighted meat serving. I was expecting so much food that there would be left overs seeing it was just my 8 year old and myself. I splurged on the big cup that includes a donation to local law enforcement so basically $2 can be taken off the $41 total to get an idea of what you get for what they charge. This is counter service order, pick up your own food, fill your own drink and clean up your own mess. The brisket was cold and chewy, the mac and cheese was bland, my son was upset over the "burnt" shrimp. I give a pass on this and now know that he doesn't like "blackened". We ate it for the sake of eating since we were both hungry. The time from order to time called seemed long considering they were not busy at all. I do love the décor but it was hard to admire sitting under a very cold AC vent blowing directly on me.I will stick to near by Sam Jones where the quality is consistent and once you order have staff to help with the rest.
