Great experience for my family's first time trying a Persian restaurant. #1 The staff is super friendly and everyone provided great service from start to finish. Secondly all the food we tried was very tasty. We have some fairly picky eaters in this group however you could not go wrong with any of the kebab dishes. The chicken/beef and shrimp dishes were all delicious. I tried the ghormeh sabzi which is like a beef stew. It had some unfamiliar ingredients for me so I'm thinking that dish is more for folks that are more used to this cuisine.The waiters were quick to refill drinks and serve more delicious bread and pita (not sure what they call it here). The hummus was super tasty- some of the best I've had. I would highly recommend trying this place and supporting the folks at this cozy location.

UPDATE - holy crap! This place has turned things around!!!! I hadn't been back since we went the first time - within a few months of them opening. Service was bad, food worse. It's like a different restaurant now. Like I said in the other review I grew up in Los Angeles (Tehrangeles) where Persian food is the best. This food this time was incredible as well. Definitely 1st or 2nd best in Houston. Mast o moosir was incredible, ghormeh sabzi, kabobs. Literally everything.

I stopped by for lunch on a Monday afternoon. There were only two other customers at the time, so I was seated very quickly. The free hummus was okay, but the bread was not very memorable. In the future, it might be nice if they could have warm/fresh bread. I ordered the boneless chicken kebab. The chicken was seasoned and cooked nicely. The portion size and price were also reasonable. Their lunch prices are a very good value if you are in the area. I will come back in the future.

Went here for lunch with a party of nine. A lovely table set up, very comfortable. Slightly loud to hear everyone at our table (loud from other patrons and the background music), but it was enjoyable to chat with those in the immediate area. The staff brought out hummus and pita chips, complimentary. They were absolutely delicious. They then brought out water. They also brought out little cups with a towelette to refresh your hands and face. It was infused with some sort of essential oil. After a bit of a wait, the waitress came around and asked if we wanted anything other than water and any appetizers. I was glad that they had brought out the hummus with chips because by this time we were all starving. I ordered the boneless chicken with white rice. The chicken was seasoned great, juicy, and simply wonderful. The rice was a little dry and at room temperature. It also came with a grilled 1/2 jalapeno (with seeds) and a 1/2 tomato. When the waitress asked if everything was okay, I had to ask for more water, and then she asked if we would like any other hot spices. Multiple people at the table agreed that the spices would be great. She never came back to the table. Price-wise, my chicken lunch was $12.99 so that was decent. The atmosphere was nice. The hummus was great. I wish the spices would've been served. The waitress did accommodate the separate checks, tableside for all of us. Parking was tight, as there are multiple restaurants in this tiny area. We had to street park (be careful and pay attention to the parking signs). Within the parking lot there were multiple spots occupied by some workers' carts...not sure why they needed all those spaces, but nonetheless.

Had an amazing meal and experience. The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. So glad to have a great Persian restaurant inside the loop.

Visiting Houston and I wanted to pick up a quick lunch. Called ahead and was told food would be ready in less than 10 min! Ordered the lunch ghormeh sabzi and initially thought it seemed small, but definitely was enough for me. Included plenty of rice and lavash. Of course nothing will ever be as good as my maman's cooking, but this was very close! The beef was very very tender and the stew itself was flavorful. The rice was also properly seasoned. Definitely will be back to try more food while I'm here! نوش جان!

I had Miri's kitchen cater a party for over 50 people at my house. This included food, their staff to service and a bar tender. I was very impressed with their staff. Everyone was professional and classy. The bar tender was classy and did a very good job. The food presentation was EXQUISITE. We had a variety of shews, kabobs, and rice. They were all presented beautifully with mini tahchins surrounding the various rice. For the stews, we has ghormeh sabzi and fesenjoon. They were DELICIOUS. The kabobs: beef barg and koobideh and chicken koobideh were juicy,absolutely delicious and very good quality. EVERYONE was impressed with Miri's. As a persian family from LA, we are extremely picky when it comes to persian food and this restaurant is top notch in quality, taste, and presentation.

The best food I've ever had in my life. The khoresh bademjan & the lamb shank have become the best dishes I've ever tasted!

I was invited for a work dinner party and it was amazing food. The steaks were sooo gooodd soft melts in your mouth OMG and the appetizers too the pitta bread with eggplant sauce it was delicious. Definitely need to bring my family. 10/10

Miri's Kitchen is aesthetically pleasing, and the service is exceptional. The staff was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. The hummus and dips are fresh and tasty. The chicken and beef kabobs were succulent and flavorful. It was my first time trying Persian ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend checking this place out and will be coming back.
