"This is my second time here and it was delicious!! So many options for dinner. Everyone in our party of 10 all enjoyed their meal. Our dinner was even better because we were served by Alexis...a wonderfully efficient and pleasant server... She should be commended for her excellence. The ambiance was great!! Great for chatting and a beautiful"
"THE place for steaks in Milwaukee. Old school supper club that has been around since 1946! That's right, over 75 years and running! A landmark restaurant in Milwaukee. As soon as you walk in, you are transported back in time to the classic Wisconsin supper club scene, with wood paneled walls and old pictures hanging around a massive bar. The hostess will tell you to grab a cocktail at said bar and order your food from there as well. We did as we were told, and we ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered probably the best sidecar I've ever had. Once you have ordered your dinner and saddled up with the bartender, your waiter will take you to your table where a bowl of salad, a relish tray and warm bread await you. Don't gorge too much on the salad and bread however, because when the steak you ordered comes out, you will regret it! We ordered a porterhouse and shared it between the two of us, and I'm glad we did! It was massive and probably the best steak I've ever eaten. They cook it just right, medium rare, and a little charred on the outside. It was incredibly tender and juicy. We told the waitress it was our anniversary, and she comped us a slice of Key lime pie, which was also incredible. To top it off, we ordered a dessert drink, a Brandy Alexander, a favor of ours at any supper club we visit. It was very boozy! A nice way to end an incredible meal and experience. It's not cheap but I didn't feel the prices were outrageous either for what you get. They have live music every Friday and Saturday at the bar, and there is additional seating upstairs in the Alley Cat Lounge. A gem of a restaurant, this place is fantastic. The atmosphere, drinks and food can't be beat. A must visit for anyone in the Milwaukee area!"

"Do not sleep on The Del-bar. The Del-bar has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Wisconsin. The atmosphere, food, and service are over-the top. I currently have a restricted diet for medical reasons (Gluten, dairy, and soy free), which makes going out to eat less enjoyable and also impossible at time. They had no problem accommodating my needs. I ordered the salmon (modified to accommodate restrictions) and my food was superb - flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Del-bar also offered multiple non-alcoholic options. I enjoyed a lavender and lemon mocktail. A few other tips (from this and past visits): - The espresso martini is a must after dinner (they have a mocktail version as well!)- Upgrade to a specialty salad, it's worth it - The Béarnaise sauce that comes on the salmon is phenomenal- Don't rush your dinner here. Enjoy the different bar areas, and a slow meal. - Try the lobster roll"
"My coworkers took me here for my birthday and it was absolutely phenomenal. One of my favorite restaurants in Madison! The decor inside of the restaurant is incredible. Our waitress Nicole was phenomenal and she was able to accommodate my requests and modifications for my food. I had the scallop appetizer with the bourbon glazed apples which was delicious . My entree was the shrimp, scallops, and grits in the white wine sauce and that may have been one of the best dishes I have ever had in my lifetime. Absolutely recommend this place for any celebration!"
"I just met the owner of the Packing House.I had reviewed my perch fish fry and reported it wasn't up to snuff. Within minutes there was a tap on my shoulder.Did you know that Chris kept the doors open during the pandemic and never laid anyone off? That he is passionately committed to carrying on his parents' legacy for 31 years? Folks, our local restaurants need our support more than ever. It's a really tough business - hiring talent, increased costs, competition- give them some love. Please book your reservations for a memorable meal at the Packing House now. The holidays are here and it's the perfect place for a special meal.Chris - keep the faith and your door open."
"A group of us get together & ride bikes from Two Rivers to Manitowoc on the paved trail along Lake Michigan shore. We do this at least once every summer! We always end up at The Courthouse Pub. Love to sit outside and get a bite to eat & a beverage. I look forward to the summer beer Patio Pounder...(I believe it's a Czech Pilsner with Raspberry Lemoncello. It's quite refreshing; especially on a hot humid day like today! Our server, Kayla was awesome. Very patient with the 5 of us! I decided to try the Fish Tacos & French Fries. So good & tasty! I look forward to visiting The Courthouse every summer! (I live in Phoenix ) Love all the pretty flowers; sure miss those pretty pinks, purples & yellows!"
"It was my first time at this restaurant with my wife on 2/07/25 to celebrate a special occasion together. We had been at a Brazilian restaurant before in New Jersey and had a wonderful experience. We had the full Rodizio meal with the wonderful salad bar and all the meats were wonderfully prepared and of the highest quality. The service from our waiter Joseph was excellent and he did a wonderful job explaining the process. We had good service from all the meat gauchos and the service from the Gaucho Wallette was very memorable and she remembered special meat requests. Again the meat was of the highest quality and the gauchos would cut the meat at your request if you wanted a rare or well done cut of meat. It is good to make online reservations and we were seated on time. We were fortunate to find meter parking right in front of the restaurant but they do have paid parking as well that is available. At $36.99 per person was worth it if you come on an empty stomach and love eating meat"
"We are return visitors to The Pfister Hotel and have always enjoyed our stays. This was our first visit to Mason Street Grill and we were impressed with the food and the service. Olivia was a delight to have as our server! She was helpful with our questions about the entrees and well-informed on the menu.My scallops were very good, but the highlight (for both of us) was my husband's filet. Living in northern Cook County, we have been to most of the top steakhouses in Chicago and his Filet with Brandy Peppercorn Sauce was phenomenal! One of the best ever.We shared Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée for dessert. It was a perfect end to day one of our Milwaukee getaway."
"My partner loves a good steak. So, he wanted to have dinner at Mo's prior to a recent Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra performance. Because I don't eat red meat, I was reluctant to have dinner there. Once he learned that they have bacon-wrapped scallops as both an appetizer and a side, well, the deal was sealed. Their classic old fashioned was pretty good. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his filet and scallops. I had the pan-seared salmon and a side of Brussels sprouts with bacon and brown sugar. The salmon was basic and I was hard-pressed to find any brown sugar in my sprouts. The hostess, a young lady whose hair was on point, and our waiter, a cute and personable bespectacled guy, were terrific. If I'm going to spend $200 (or more!) for a meal for two people, I'm more inclined to try some of Milwaukee's newer James Beard Award-nominated restaurants. Nonetheless, my partner was happy and that made me happy. I'd give Mo's a solid 3.75 stars."
"tl;dr - a place you should go when you need to feel special, have impeccable service or a reason to celebrate! My husband has just gotten a promotion at work, so we decided to splurge for a very amazing experience at Bacchus. It was our first time there and the place was incredibly fancy. We had decided to get dressed up (and were so glad we did) as there was the valet and coat check before we entered in. We had a little bit of imposter syndrome (oh jeeze, should we really be here!?! Apparently my husband said there's a Simpsons episode where Homer walks into a VERY beautiful restaurant and he says "WOW, fancy" and the maître d' walks up to him and goes, "Would you please leave without a fuss, right now?" Hilarious and a little bit how we felt, until we got inside!) An extremely friendly and warm dining experience. We were seated promptly and immediately were greeted by our servers. The pair was SO nice and explained the menu and special very clearly. They also asked if we were celebrating anything and we mentioned his promotion. We both grabbed a cocktail and our amazing dining experience was off to the races. We got freshly cooked bread for the table and and small bite-sized appetizer to start. There is a 3 and 5 course tasting menu here, so there's not ala carte type options which is completely fine, just different than what you may expect if you've never been there before. We did the 3 course and went with: - Duck dumplings (simply incredible, it was one of the big highlights of the meal)- Yellowfin Tuna crudo (amazing flavor combos and so fresh feeling)- Blue ridge rabbit loin (I ventured out of my comfort zone on this one to try something new and it did not disappoint!)- Rack of venison (so incredibly tender and just on another level of how you could venison could prepared)- Cheesecake mousse (the hubby loved)- Chocolate truffle (so incredibly rich and decadent, some light-hearted folks might not be able to finish it, but I SURE DID. Simply fantastic!)At the end along with our selected desserts, they even brought our a super cute "congratulations" treat for Ben. They really went above and beyond to make sure we felt special and that this was an elevated dining experience through and through. This is definitely a place to share a super romantic or important night with someone you care about!"
"This was my third visit to Stella and honestly it's about time I leave a review, because everything here is great and I keep on coming back. The food is always great and so is the service. This most recent visit our server was a sweet woman named Anjail. She had a great attitude and an infectious smile, and she made great recommendations for us as well. The dining room is always clean and well lit, offering an intimate feeling without also feeling cramped at all. We will be back!!"
"This restaurant is such a gem in the area. Make your reservations well in advance so you can sit in the restaurant area. We were only able to reserve the bar area. It's quite busy and loud. I ordered the filet and scallops. They were both done perfectly. Service was attentive and friendly. The bar had a Peach Crown Old Fashioned that was great."

Sad! we loved this place. Tonight was disappointing. We arrived before the crowds-at 4:30pmOur server was great but the food was not. Two pieces of very, very stale plain white bread started the meal. Husband ordered the special, a shrimp creole dish with rice. It was very bland. I ordered Dover sole with hollandaise and rice pilaf and a side salad. The thousand island dressing was so weird! Heavy, heavy on something, perhaps pickle? It was awful especially on the salad heavy with kale. The fish was not fresh, nor was the teaspoon of crabmeat that was supposed to highlight the fish. The rice pilaf was not a wild rice medley, but was white rice heavily seasoned with cumin. It clashed horribly with the fish. I should have said something. I hope they read reviews. This was not normal. Usually everything is much better. Please don't serve cumin with a hollandaise and please check your fish and crabmeat for freshness. You need another kind of bread pre meal. The stale white bread was really bad, especially on a busy Friday night.

Five O'Clock has the best steaks in Milwaukee. The quintessential urban supper club, Five O'Clock hasn't changed for decades, except for the pricing. Five O'Clock has Chicago pricing. Expect to pay a load. Our bill for three entrees, three sides, four cocktails, and a mediocre bottle of wine, came to $380 with tip. That's a lot of moolah in Wisconsin. Everything was great, including service, but Five O'Clock has become a special occasion restaurant. I used to dine there twice a month. That's a vestige of the past. If you love red meat, Five O'Clock is the place to go, but be prepared to pay for the experience.

The Del-bar can't be beat. The food, service & atmosphere is lively but intimate. I always go for their filet steaks -quality meat cooked perfectly and so flavorful. My husband is all about the flavorful seafood choices. Never pass on a quality classic old-fashioned or signature cocktail to accompany your meal; you definitely won't regret it! Our servers are always very attentive, friendly & have a nice sense of humor. The building offers hints of a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired setting & is a little piece of early 1940s history of the Dells. It's a little pricier but well worth the experience. Del-bar is a great location for a romantic evening or to enjoy with a group of friends. Book a reservation & try it for yourself!

The staff is the best hands down. The service is consistent every time. I'm obsessed with their happy hour but will also stop by at any hour because it is that GOOD! The best Espresso Martini in Madison. Jazz night every other Thursday?! 100/10 will recommend! Scott, KJ, Kevin, Cherry, Chloe, Chip, Isaac! All the above!

A coworker and I had some time to kill before a flight, so we hit this place up just around the corner for lunch. It had an excellent atmosphere and reminded me of an old school classic restaurant. It was cold outside and the french onion soup sounded like it would hit the spot, and it did! Wow, had great flavor and lots of cheese! Delicious and I'd probably get it again on a hot day (does it even get hot in Milwaukee?)I was looking for "safe" food before a flight so I got the club and it was well made and fresh and delicious! The fries were good too even though they look lifeless in the picture.Overall, a great meal, but don't try and get in and out too quick as it is a little more laid back than a Chick Fil A, but probably not as slow as a Popeye's.

Tried something different, so I wanted to give an update to my previous review. I've always enjoyed their steaks, fish tacos (not on menu anymore?) and fish and chips. Tonight I tried something different... I ordered the Osso Bucco. It was great! This pork shank was very tasty and the meat was juicy and fall off the bone tender. They gave me a knife with the meal, but never had a reason to use it! Cheese curd appetizer - excellent, and so was the Carrot Cake to go!

Everything has sadly gone down hill at Rodizio. Including the front of house customer service. My fiancé and I walked into the restaurant at 7:30 WITH a prior reservation. We walked in and saw a lot of people waiting. We told the hostess that we had a reservation and she said it would be 20-30 minute wait because they're busy and "cleaning tables". What's the point of a reservation if you don't actually reserve a table for us? We ended up getting seated at 8:30. ONE HOUR after our "reservation time". When we got lead back to our table, we saw numerous empty tables. No idea why we couldn't have been seated earlier. As suspected, all the other people who were waiting in the restaurant when we walked in got seated ahead of us. And they seated us 30 minutes before the restaurant closed which made for a rushed experience. The quality and taste of the meats were disappointing. All of the food was just ok. The salad bar has food that doesn't seem fresh, for example, the Brazilian cheese bread was hard. Like it had been sitting under the hot light for too long. The meat was ok. The pineapple was the best part. The best thing was the service of our waitress Siobhan and our gaucho Carol. They were incredible. So accommodating and kind. Very helpful and eager to make sure we had the best experience possible after sitting down. Also the Brazilian limeade with passion fruit juice was a nice combo. Otherwise severely disappointing experience which would make me think twice before returning.

So good we went twice in 3 days! We had a lovely stay at the Pfister and it was a pleasant surprise to have such a great restaurant onsite. I highly recommend if you're in Milwaukee! Food was AMAZING, service was great and we simply loved it.

"Great burgers, great apps, great beers, great bartenders.I went here with my toddler and they were very accommodating. When the description says cozy, they ain't kidding, but the charm makes the place feel like home."
"Work took me to Grand Geneva Resort and Spa this week. Craving for steak, checked out Chophouse. Atmosphere was very romantic with a perfect lighting overseeing the Lake. My server was Danielle, she was awesome and make good recommendations. Started with Lobster Bisque, wished the serving was bigger, LOL. Wagyu was only 6oz but packed with flavor and instantly melts in your mouth, followed by Foie Gras, which was amazing and very fatty. Not your everyday meal but it was so good. I finished off with the chocolate blackberry cake. Overall, meal was excellent and worth a return trip."
"We came with no reservation on a saturday night but i think it was a blessing since we ended up sitting at the bar. Norm, the bartender was amazing. He is very attentive. We are not from the area and it is our first time dining here. Food and service was excellent, definitely recommending this to anyone. I would say sit in the bar!"
"Good food, service, and an ideal location make this restaurant a must-visit. It's a great part of Mundelein's eateries and restaurants. Located right across from Diamond Lake, by its beach, Gale Street Inn, which is an outpost of the original classic restaurant in the Jefferson Park area of Chicago, serves delicious tasting dishes and drinks. They are known for their classic style, no-frills bbq ribs. I have not had a chance to go to their original location yet to try those ribs, but I sampled them at this location. We had made a reservation for a mid-evening time frame. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were promptly seated at a table of our choice based on the available tables. We sat with a view from a window overlooking Diamond Lake as well as the sunset to follow. We were served warm bread with sesame seeds on its crust with sweet white butter to go with it. The butter was smooth, and the bread was soft and fresh. We started with a couple of glasses of wine (one red, one white) and an order of Roasted Beets salad as an appetizer. For entrees, we order ribs & fries from kids' meals, Gnocchi Al Pesto, and Sausage Orecchiette. The salad and the kids' meal dish came out in a timely fashion, but the other dishes took longer than expected. Our server kept us informed on when we can expect our dishes to come out, but we were not informed as to why it was taking long for our dishes to be served. In the meantime, we enjoyed the delicious salad, which had a couple of different types of beets (red & gold), mixed greens, goat cheese, pistachios, and balsamic glaze house dressing. It was refreshing. I had a glass of Salmon Creek Pinot Noir, and it was smooth and not quite dry, which is good. Finally, when our entrees were served, I was ready to dig into my pasta. My Gnocchi dish looked good, smelled yummy, and tasted absolutely fantastic. It was freshly made with grilled chicken pieces, and the pesto was quite flavorful. I couldn't get enough of it. The Sausage Orecchiette was pretty decent. The sausage, with a mild, subtle taste of fennel, tasted good. There was broccoli in the dish that I didn't care for. The pasta was al-dente, which was good, but it lacked a proper portion of tomato sauce, in my opinion. My wife liked it the way it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Last but not least, we had scrumptious and decadent slice of fresh Tiramisu with some strawberries and drizzled chocolate sauce. It was divine. It was one of the best Tiramisu pastries I hedge had in a while. Highly recommended. We had a very good time at Gale Street Inn. It was definitely worth checking out. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and ambiance, and the food and drinks variety is great. They have a nice bar area, plenty of tables in the dining room, and a fireplace to make you feel cozy. Plus, if you get a window side table, then on a nice weather day, you can enjoy the sunset over the lake while enjoying your meal. I recommend to all those who have not been here before to check out this fabulous restaurant."
"Celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary dinner here and despite the fact that I added this memento occasion to our reservation and also mentioned to the server when he inquired if we were celebrating an event, no recognition of our anniversary was acknowledged."
"The prime rib lives up to the hype. 45 day dry aged to perfection. We had a party of 6, meals, apps drinks and a nice bottle of wine for $750 including tip. Felt the value was higher than the cost. I'd recommend."
"We had delivery of one of their family meals. Very large dish of pasta with chicken/mushroom sauce, salad and bread. Nicley done, a little heavier than we are used to, but it covered meals for the next 3 days. Will try something else next time."
"Dinners here are always amazing but the happy hour is hands down the best in the city! Every time I've come to Joey Gerard's for happy hour they end up packed so many others are also taking advantage of the great value. The staff here is also very friendly and still checks in just enough, even with a full bar area! To start, the happy hour appetizer options will satisfy every craving, from cheese curds to charcuterie or relish trays to the best prime rib sandwiches and onion strings! The prices are very reasonable and a 2-3 choices paired with a happy hour beverage (today it was a great $7 glass of wine), you have a truly phenomenal dinner (at least for my appetite). An extra nice touch is the bread basket which includes breadsticks and spread cheese for some of the supper club experience. I always leave Joey Gerard's feeling very satisfied, full and like every bite was perfectly prepared, whether it's dinner or happy hour. It's not every day you can consistently find great food, great service and great prices so check out Joey Gerard's - you won't regret it!"
"I have to say the place is explicit management is great the best service that anyone can ask for.. the quality in presentation given makes this place have more the 5 star... family friendly or date with a love one I have to say the food is marvelous, from the calamari to there lobster soup to there appetizers.. definitely recommend and will drive 1 hour again to come and visit this awesome place"
"In my experience, you can't go wrong when you choose a Bartolotta restaurant, and this place is no exception. Beautiful interior with warm lighting creates a cozy and elegant experience. The two servers assigned to our table of 8 were friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and quick. Then there's the food, which was absolutely amazing. My husband ordered three appetizers as his meal, and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was very rich and flavorful with a nice crunch on top, although the lobster pieces were on the smaller side and not overwhelming in number. The Wagyu Meatballs were not as tender or juicy as expected, but were delicious. The nicely sized dollop of ricotta on top was a nice touch.I had the Califlower Steak, which was a first for me. It. Was. Fantastic! The califlower was cut thick and roasted to perfection, creating a wonderfully firm yet tender texture. The accompanying flavors and textures made this dish smell and taste amazing. This is a beautiful option for those who prefer a meatless option or are looking to try something new."
"Food was yummy. The , service was quick, efficient and friendly. Ambiance was fun and clean. I'm so glad we made time for this!"
"I have been going to Backyard for many years. The restaurant has the feel of the old steakhouses my parents took us to in the 70s. Warmly lit, not too loud, attentive servers.I often order the prime rib rare or a ribeye, trust me, you'll enjoy either. My husband gets the filet. One thing we miss is the pre-COVID salad bar, but the house salad is pretty good, in my opinion. My server, Joe or Joey... it's been a week or so, was very enthusiastic and polite to a tee. I can't remember the last time I've been called ma'am so much in a short period of time! I have absolutely nothing to complain about.... EXCEPT... the dessert tray. I choose the one thing on the tray that sold out. Disappointed, yes. I told the super friendly Joe that he should discount my bill the cost of the two slices of pie. He smiled and laughed, dang. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask."
"We had a great time celebrating a birthday dinner the was very good & the service was awesome"
"The Bread and Maple Butter were really tasty. I got some to-go! Service was five star and waters were refilled immediately. We ordered the Filet Mignon, Chopped Salad, and Mashed Potatoes. Filet Mignon $59. The flavors were definitely there and the ingredients were premium.Super appreciate the service and Filet."
"I had the opportunity to meet with a client for dinner, at the Edison, while traveling on business. It was not too crowded on a Tuesday happy hour time. There was plenty on parking in the lot next to the restaurant for around $20-$22 for two hours. The host and waitress were nice. I had a house salad with tuna as my protein. Everything was delicious the tuna was perfectly cooked. I had dressing on the side with a bit of milled pepper. There is a bar in the restaurant and overall it was a great atmosphere. I recommend the Edison when in the area."
"Had a wonderful experience at the Steakout on New Year's Day celebrating my Mom's 85th birthday as a surprise. The staff, dining manager and food were excellent. They accommodated our large party with grace and ease. Food was cooked as requested and the entire experience was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!!!"
"Service: *****Menu: *****Value: *****Atmosphere: *****My first visit there was this past New Year's Eve. I have heard great things about MKE Steakhouse and now I can say it is all true. Let's first start off with the service. (I'm trying to get the names so when I do, I'll edit my review to give them the Kudos they deserve). Outstanding service and befitting of a 5 star restaurant, but yet casual dining. Supper Club blended with upscale restaurant is best to describe MKE Steakhouse. Attentive, prompt, friendly and accommodating service. On top of everything and when we settled in, they came quickly to take our drink order. Highly trained staff. Our group started off with Tempura cauliflower and shrimp for appetizers. The group had a split between soup or salad. I tell you, I've never had such crispy romaine lettuce. That salad seemed freshly picked 2 minutes ago. I had the rib eye with bone in and it was prepared to my temperature and it literally melted in my mouth. Others had Sicilian steak, Filet Mignon and ribs. The steak was seared and charred which I like. Full bar and nice wine menu. We were filled that we didn't even order desserts. By far in my opinion, the best steak in SE Wisconsin.I highly recommend and I will be returning."
"So the FOOD. Is OUTSTANDING. Really nice staff. Sat at the bar and had the best time socializing! Great drinks! Not over priced at all! Very reasonable and again-- outstanding quality gourmet dishes!"
"I had the sushi craving HIT as soon as I finished swimming laps at the hotel. They had about 40 mins before closing and the waitress was SO kind to let myself and a few other diners in.I ordered their miso, hand rolls, amaebi and a couple of nigiris. HOWEVER, the highlight of the night was the Sexy Salmon appetizer. Sexy Salmon - Mango, cucumbers, jalapenos wrapped in salmon Anyways, I definitely recommend y'all stop by and check them out, service is incredible!"
"Okay, WOW! This restaurant is a new favorite for sure. It's a cute, and quaint little steakhouse tucked in on a country road in Brookfield. It's cozy, and sophisticated at the same time. Perfect place for small/intimate celebrations, dates, etc. and the food is excellent! Wait staff are exceptional. We tried the cowboy steak and New York strip- both were delicious. Twice baked potato's were delicious, the creamed spinach, and you have to get the Mac n cheese! Too many good options to choose from. You'll just have to try it for yourself. I will definitely be back."
"Delicious, clean large variety of good. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed everything from pasta, chicken, fish. Gravy a little lumpy but worth it."
"For being fancy, this was a bummer. My friend and I shared the tuna tar tar which was very bland and lacked flavor. The tuna was fresh but again it was missing a sauce to bring out the flavors. We shared the risotto which was nothing to right home about and a huge portion. We split the filet which was hard to cut and again didn't have a lot of flavor. We ordered the creamed corn (delish!!!), mushrooms (they were okay) and russet potatoes. It was alright. The espresso martini was delicious as well. For being a fancy spot in the city, I was bummed by our experience."
"Great classic supper club feel, although not truly a supper club. Great service, great food, great drinks. It has a rustic mariner decor, boat cleats for door handles, nautical charts on the ceiling in the mens room. Our waiter was attentive. I had the bone in ribeye which was expertly prepared, perfect medium rare. The cheesy hash browns were good. I had the Manhattan straight up which was good. It's quiet on the north side of the lake."
