"Great sushi at a great price in Madison! My partner doesn't like fish/sushi, so I took my friend up on a sushi date to her favorite local spot when visiting.I love the area! And to match Muramoto has a stunning interior. Dark and wood elements, it feels very peaceful and upscale. They offer a variety of nigiri, regular, and specialty rolls - all pretty standard pricing. But the real winner? Their Sushi Combos. These are chef's choice of the categories, with a few different combo options. We went for the Maki Combo: 3 rolls - 1 regular, 1 inside-out, and 1 special roll (all chef's choice) for $25. That's a heck of a deal considering some specialty rolls are $16! We ended up getting the Rainbow Roll as our specialty roll, which had a ton of fresh fish and would have been our choice anyway. We ended up adding the dragon roll as well which was delicious and saucy. Service was kind and helpful - when I forgot my bag at the restaurant, they held onto it for me until I could come retrieve it. Try their sushi combos!"
"Craving for Pho on a cold afternoon. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give them a try! It was around noon and there were 3 tables waiting for their food. The waitress was very friendly, nice and attentive. The place has simple decor, clean and cozy. I got my order to go. I ordered chicken pad Thai, Pho Tai, and crispy fried egg rolls. I wanted to get their pork rice dish but she told me the pork wasn't done marinating yet :( so I opted for pad thai instead. If you order pad thai, know that this is a Vietnamese place so the pad thai isn't going to taste anything like what you'd get at a Thai restaurant. It's less sweet , no cabbages, and the chicken was spicy. I didn't remember seeing anywhere on the menu indicating the chicken pad thai is spicy. I got this dish for my toddler and obviously, they weren't able to eat it. It was a bummer. The closest thing this dish is anything like pad thai are the noodles lol I would not be ordering this dish here again. It is a good noodle dish! But I wasn't liking the heat on the chicken or the flavors as much. The Pho, on the other hand, was delicious! (One would hope! Lol) Since I got mine to go, I picked the option of having to cook the meat myself at home. (The beef slices came in a zip lock bag. ) There was lots of noodles and bean sprouts in the container. The portion was huge! Easily can be shared with another person. Remember not to over cook the noodles! After the broth boils, I'd just throw the noodles , veggies and beef in there for a min or two max! Otherwise, you will get really soggy noodles. And let the beef defrost a little bit.The egg rolls were good. Crispy with lots of filling inside. I do have to mention it was very oily tho. I reheated it up and soaked up the oil with paper towels. I will be returning when I'm craving for Pho and will def be trying their pork dish and bahn mi!"
"Flambe seems to be a popular Indian spot for the locals, as the place was pretty busy when we came for dinner.Their menu is pretty extensive, offering skewers, apps, tandoor options, veg and non-veg entrees, rice, breads, and desserts. We ordered:+Malai Chicken Tikka - one of their more popular flambe skewers, this came with two hanging skewers of chicken chunks that were covered in some type of a marinade; there was a pool of malai gravy on the bottom; we thought that the presentation was going to give a more 'wow' factor, but there was some rum poured over each skewer, not really 'dousing' them as it was stated on the menu, and then lit - however, there really wasn't any flame action; the chunks of chicken and the gravy were more on the room temperature/cold end, so I'm thinking these were prepared way in advanced and maybe caught them in the thawing process?+Jinga Masala Vida - shrimp cakes prepared with chili, cilantro, mint, garlic, ginger, and spices; could have been served hot and fresh out of the pan; these came with 3 patties and had a slight crisp with a kick; these do fall apart easily and do not hold its shape+Butter Chicken - roasted dark chicken in a tomato-based sauce with fenugreek; even though the bowl that this was served in was warm, the curry itself was not; the sauce itself was also more thin in consistency and kind of watered down; flavor wasn't that great, either +Chicken Shahi Korma - prepared with chicken breast cubes, but this also seemed to use predominantly dark chicken meat; the menu stated this was topped with golden fried nuts and raisins, but it seemed as if there were little chopped nuts mixed in the sauce, and there were no raisins, which I actually was excited for; the dish was also served in a warm bowl, but the curry itself was not temperature hot; the sauce was also thin and watery +Peas Pulao - described as steamed basmati with tempered green peas; both rice and the peas were not cooked properly, as they were still undercooked/raw +Garlic naan - usually comes topped with cilantro, but they were able to make one without, which we appreciated; definitely larger ins size than the usual, but there were more hard, burnt areas rather than the fluffy bread you'd expect; I also wished there were more garlic on thereService was friendly, but the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed in checking in with tables - we had to wait a while to get extra plates and silverware, our drinks, and the menu. It also took time to place our orders in.When you enter, there really isn't a 'waiting area' or a host/hostess to receive you; it's a little awkward, as you'll have to stand in front of their bar in the back to let them know you need a table. The place is more on the smaller end with a handful of seating. I really loved their decor of the colorful hanging umbrellas!Located in a small strip plaza off of Peterson, there's ample parking in the large shared lot. They have another location out in Buffalo Grove.+food items are not served hot +friendly, but slow service +plenty of parking"
"Amazing food! Location is ok, for a place with this good of food it would be nice to find a more picturesque location. Service is average, sometimes good sometime you wait a bit & only average."
"The sandwiches are delicious, definitely the best place for them in town. The BLT in particular is fantastic. The only downside I see is that they tend to be closed when it occurs to me I want a sandwich. And it is up to the business owner if they want to share their political views. If this was another cookie cutter virtue-signaling place like most places in Chicago, no one would bat an eye. If you really care what the person making your sandwich thinks about politics, there are 1000 chain places with safe inoffensive platitudes."
"Upon a recommendation we decided to try this place today. So glad we did. Great authentic Mexican food."
"Soups were great, a mix of good tastes and daily soup changes. Tried a few different sandwiches and they were all OK, felt like they needed more cheese or a sauce. Tried the Friday fish fry, it was ok. Tasted like frozen stuff very perfect in shape and look. Coleslaw was good, red potatoes were ok. But prefer Culvers fresh cod with odd shapes and different crust edges etc. Will try their grilled cheese, pork, beef sandwiches and fries' next time."
"Tried this new restaurant and it was a nice experience trying new foods. We had the multiple flavors of empanadas it was delicious food but slow because they are way in the back of the strip mall.Try it, you'll like it.YES I'd order it again!!!"

Food 4/5 - The Maki Combo had 3 rolls with salmon in it. I love salmon but I would have liked to try different kinds of fish. Soft shell crab roll was delicious! Service 5/5 - The waiters and servers were nice and attentive. Ambiance 5/5 - Nice and cozy interior. Tables were a little bit close to each other. Overall, I recommend going to Muramoto for good sushi in the Madison area!

Wow ! This is my new favorite Indian restaurant. They have a great menu, the place was packed, and the people were nice. I got the Dal with rice and was blown away by how good it was. Also, we had someone with us who was Vegan and I am celiac, it was nice to see that the menu was labeled well for vegan and gluten free. In fact, our waiter even suggested I avoid some dish because there was an outside chance of contamination making me think they really know what they were talking about. I didn't get the garlic naan obviously with celiac, but others did and they raved about it. I was told this is a "must get".The interior was interesting and gave a good vibe. It was packed on. Saturday night so a reservation is a good idea. However we just hung out at the bar till a table opened up. The bar is way too tall or the chairs too low....LOL .... But who cares. I will be back !!! Great food !!

First time visiting, I love the food. The place was kind of quiet at the beginning, but it got full pretty quickly. The staff was really friendly and amazing and it seems like they have a really good team working in the kitchen they all seem pretty happy. Our food was done fairly quickly amazing flavors super fresh and very tasty! We had Horchata for our drinks and that was really nice. Highly recommended. It's not a fancy place, but it is very clean and cozy.

A hidden gem amongst chain restaurants on Bluemound . You must check this restaurant out. Great service. Our server was attentive and made great suggestions for our first time visiting Started out with the Provoleta which was a hot cheese somewhat like Greek saganaki to dip in bread. The empanadas were delicious on the smaller side but really great and so were the tacos. Margarita special was so yummy. Really great local place that is family owned.

"Recently, I was driving through the area and thought I stop for a quick bite. I didn't feel like fast food so I thought I'd check this restaurant out - so glad I did.Granted, upon entering this restaurant, the decor did remind me of many suburban restaurant chains, however, it didn't bother me. To me, the food and service what is important. I was greeted right away by the owner (I believe) and seated right away. The server had greeted me and went over the menu and the nightly specials. Within a few minutes, the server took my order, Hot Turkey Open Face Sandwich and a bowl of the Egg Lemon Rice soup. The soup came within a couple of minutes. The soup was nice and creamy. The soup was just delicious. I would HIGHLY recommend this. As the owner was seating another guest, I had complimented her on how great the soup is.Few minutes later the meal was delivered to me. The sandwich was just as good. Yes, I wish the potatoes were real instead of instant but it didn't ruin my meal. The portions were very good size. Like another reviewer stated.... You gotta love the Greeks! Yes, the server did check in with me throughout the meal while he was taking care of the other customers.I had decided to take a slice of the cherry pie with me back to the hotel. The slice was a decent size and very good. As I was paying, the owner gave me another cup of soup to go. That is GREAT Customer service. I was really surprised. That is one of the reasons why I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will defiantly return when I pass through Kenosha. Enjoy!"
"We were driving home from Milwaukee and I was craving a French dip sandwich. We ended up at Friar Tucks in Fond du lac. It was adorable! Christine, our waitress, was one of the best servers I've ever had. She was fantastic! I mentioned what I was looking for and she told me she will hook me up with a loaded pot roast sandwich and au jus. My husband ordered a smokehouse burger. We ordered friar fries. Well Christine brought us one of the fry orders as an appetizer loaded with cheese, bacon and sour cream. She said they were not on menu but knew we would love them. She was totally accurate! Our food came and was delicious. Excellent food. Excellent service. Plus on a Sunday it was buy a drink get a drink. Who could ask for more.?Btw, Christine said she has worked here since the place opened in 1980. She appears to love people and her job. Took so much pride in the business and food. I loved that the most!"
"my mom & i got takeout from here yesterday for the first time; yesterday + today they are celebrating their one year anniversary with 25% off your order, which was perfect timing since we just found out about the place! we got the fried cauliflower to share (it was AMAZING. didn't taste gross/deep fried in the slightest, it was perfect!), and she got the chicken tikka masala while i got the lamb korma. the portion sizes are great, (the pictures i attached are our leftovers, ate all of the fried cauliflower and have tons of food for the next day or two!) some of the best indian food i've had, and the customer service while placing the order and picking up were incredible! we placed the order ahead of time, and while i was on my way to pick up they even gave my mom a call to let her know it was hot & ready! we had a busy day so we were unable to sit down to eat, but the inside of the restaurant looked great as well! 10/10 recommend!!!"
"Delicious food and super fast and friendly service - this is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area!"
"The last thing I'd ever expect to be doing is giving a 5 star review to an Olive Garden. I'm not a fan of the chain. The reason we went was unique -- my mother was a huge fan of OG and passed away a few months ago.We decided to honor her and go. I even ordered her favorite chicken Marsala and her favorite chicken gnocchi soup. Here's the deal. Despite what preconceived notions I had about Olive Garden coming through the door, I have to hand it to this location. From the service to the food, everything about this visit was great. Both the soup and the chicken were really tasty, and our server was super nice and very attentive. There was nothing but positives about this experience."
"This Soup Market is located on Vliet street on the south side of the Washington Heights area. It is a small retail store front that has limited seating and appears to be set up mostly for carry out.I've been to this location twice, now. Both times, I have gone to get soup to carry out. Both times, I have ordered the tomato bisque, which I think is outstanding; some of the best tomato bisque I have eaten.Price point, wise, some may consider the soup may be a bit expensive. I've only purchased the quart to go and notice that I pay several dollars more for the quart than at other restaurants that sell soup-to-go.It is nice to have a neighborhood soup shop so close to home. Its convenient to park at the unrestricted street curb, run in, and take some delicious soup home for a quick meal."
"My go to spot when I'm under the weather. So much comfort in the soups they make. This visit I left with a trio of soup. Chicken and dumpling has a good broth with plenty of crunchy carrots and flavorful chicken. Tried the pulled pork with beans chili for the first time and enjoyed the nice balance of sweet and tangy. The last in the trio and my personal favorite, is the African peanut and chicken. Such an enjoyable combination of spicy flavors mixed with rice and chicken. Bowls come with bread and the friendly staff will also add in crackers and butter.Good way to help shoo the flu or get some comfort when you have a winter cold. Get your soup on!"
"An average Chinese place. Overall the portion sizes are huge!Egg rolls are not too exciting flavor wise but ok. I like the egg foo young here. The meat quality is really poor, in my opinion. I only like fresh meat that's trimmed right. It's pretty unpalatable to me and I ended up picking a bunch of it out of my meal. The pad Thai is not my particular style, too sweet for me. Also the noodles were thick instead of thin, as they are with traditional pad Thai, that confused me a bit. Why in the world they dump iceberg lettuce all over the plates makes zero sense. How is that Chinese? For garnish, something way more colorful could be used. It gets in the way of the food, too. The staff is very sweet though and the place often has plenty of available seating! Maybe that's a bad thing..."
"Jefferson, WI, I envy you! I'm a truck driver and stumbled across this wonderful gem of a Chinese takeout a few months back. Today, after making a delivery to Americold just down the street, I made it a point to stop by. China Town makes THE BEST Chicken with Garlic sauce I've ever had! Wish there was a Chinese takeout as good as this in my home town. Truckers - if you have the time, get your feet in motion and drop in for a great meal."
"Price for soup and sandwich combo is $12.99 on menu board. Register charged $13.99. Also Mediterranean chicken sandwich should be listed as vegan. 3 tiny crumbs of chicken in entire sandwich. Also chickpea soup was just broth! NOT GOING BACK!!"
"I was sad to see the single star from Dana. I have passed Java Train many times, and I have wanted to give it a try. I like to patronize local spots and promote small businesses. There is something special about places like Java Train, trying to thrive in more obscure neighborhoods or communities like Butler. We finally tried it on a Monday afternoon. We had very nice customer service from the young lady that answered the phone. They offer a build-your-own-sandwich, and I had a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and jalapeno on marble rye. It was delicious. I was only a little unsure of whether or not the meat came from a package. I would love to see them invest in a slicer and purchase their meat from a local purveyor like Karl's Market. They're closer to our business than Karl's, and I would like to frequent Java. Their other ingredients were very fresh and the bread was good quality. The meat could be the final complement to the sandwich and deliver a fourth star to the next review. The chilli and the Roundhouse signature sandwich received high marks. The delivery service was prompt too, and there was zero charge for it. We were happy to tip handsomely to guarantee similar future service. The only other improvement to make would be the coffee. I ordered an Americano and the flavor was not as "authentico" as say from other coffee joints. The Americano should be beautifully frothy (not to be confused with foamy), with the espresso and water incorporated fully to make a muted but smooth, strong coffee drink. There needs to be a little coffee lab time devoted to perfecting drinks. Other than that, I am happy to report that we'll return to Java Train for their output. They need more of a chance and some appreciation for their operations to shine. Community support can make all the difference in the world."
