They use true pears to flavor it and I couldn't recommend it more. We ordered the chef's oysters and they were to die for. For dinner we ordered the fillet with lobstertail and the scallops. Everything was done perfectly to our liking. Harbor house is an upscale with dining experience with a bar area as well. The view of the water is stunning, I can't wait to go in the warmer season."

"THE place for steaks in Milwaukee. Old school supper club that has been around since 1946! That's right, over 75 years and running! A landmark restaurant in Milwaukee.As soon as you walk in, you are transported back in time to the classic Wisconsin supper club scene, with wood paneled walls and old pictures hanging around a massive bar. The hostess will tell you to grab a cocktail at said bar and order your food from there as well. We did as we were told, and we ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered probably the best sidecar I've ever had. Once you have ordered your dinner and saddled up with the bartender, your waiter will take you to your table where a bowl of salad, a relish tray and warm bread await you. Don't gorge too much on the salad and bread however, because when the steak you ordered comes out, you will regret it! We ordered a porterhouse and shared it between the two of us, and I'm glad we did! It was massive and probably the best steak I've ever eaten. They cook it just right, medium rare, and a little charred on the outside. It was incredibly tender and juicy.We told the waitress it was our anniversary, and she comped us a slice of Key lime pie, which was also incredible. To top it off, we ordered a dessert drink, a Brandy Alexander, a favor of ours at any supper club we visit. It was very boozy! A nice way to end an incredible meal and experience.It's not cheap but I didn't feel the prices were outrageous either for what you get. They have live music every Friday and Saturday at the bar, and there is additional seating upstairs in the Alley Cat Lounge. A gem of a restaurant, this place is fantastic. The atmosphere, drinks and food can't be beat. A must visit for anyone in the Milwaukee area!"

"I have been to this restaurant a few times, and every time, I have had a good experience. Blufish serves excellent Japanese food with good variety and delicious flavors. It is an upscale, elegant establishment that is a great part of Vernon Hills' restaurant scene. In my most recent visit, I tried multiple dishes that included sushi rolls, sashimi, chicken karage, sashimi salad, okonomiyaki, scallops, and a saké drink. All the food I had was super tasty and good. The fish was fresh and had big chunks or pieces. The okonomiyaki, which is a savory Japanese pancake with seafood, was super yummy. It was my first time having it. The scallops dish, whose name I can't remember, was unique in taste and very good. The sushi rolls were big, and I liked how they were created. We received good service. The ambiance is nice. The restaurant is on the pricier side, but you do get your money's worth. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you haven't been here before."

"Do not sleep on The Del-bar. The Del-bar has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Wisconsin. The atmosphere, food, and service are over-the top. I currently have a restricted diet for medical reasons (Gluten, dairy, and soy free), which makes going out to eat less enjoyable and also impossible at time. They had no problem accommodating my needs. I ordered the salmon (modified to accommodate restrictions) and my food was superb - flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Del-bar also offered multiple non-alcoholic options. I enjoyed a lavender and lemon mocktail. A few other tips (from this and past visits): - The espresso martini is a must after dinner (they have a mocktail version as well!)- Upgrade to a specialty salad, it's worth it - The Béarnaise sauce that comes on the salmon is phenomenal- Don't rush your dinner here. Enjoy the different bar areas, and a slow meal. - Try the lobster roll"

The ambiance is handled nicely by the curtains between the tables and the fireplace on the television, trust me it works. My wife had the Tacu Tacu with grilled steak and I had Inka Paella. They were awesome dishes. I've had Paella in a few different countries and this ranks right up there with great flavors and portions. My wife's Tacu Tacu came with grilled steak. She loved every bite. Prices were very reasonable. I don't think will be ordering out anymore. This is a new spot for us to go to. Thanks for a great night and meal."

"My coworkers took me here for my birthday and it was absolutely phenomenal. One of my favorite restaurants in Madison! The decor inside of the restaurant is incredible. Our waitress Nicole was phenomenal and she was able to accommodate my requests and modifications for my food. I had the scallop appetizer with the bourbon glazed apples which was delicious . My entree was the shrimp, scallops, and grits in the white wine sauce and that may have been one of the best dishes I have ever had in my lifetime. Emphasis on BBQ and Cajun, but have some wonderful alternatives. Living in northern Cook County, we have been to most of the top steakhouses in Chicago and his Filet with Brandy Peppercorn Sauce was phenomenal! "This review is specifically about The Loon Room in the downstairs speakeasy style bar in Third Coast. I would give it a 3.5 honestly. The vibe was cool. It had red lights, hightop seating, and a cozy space. We were there around 8:30ish on a Friday night and quickly found an open table. A waitress quickly came to take care of us. We're doing dry January, and they had 2 options. The Bees Have No Knees was ok, but the N/A Bird Shirt was very good. I would go back for drinks again.I wouldn't recommend this place if you have allergies. Asking the kitchen came across as a hassle. I tried the fishsticks, and I was disappointed. The remoulade was very good, but the actual fish stick was super dry and had no flavor at all. Our friends had the shrimp and said it was really good. They said the fondue with pretzel bites was okay.Overall, it's a pretty cool place, and I'd use it as a jumping off point and perhaps just do dinner upstairs."

"Great sushi at a great price in Madison! My partner doesn't like fish/sushi, so I took my friend up on a sushi date to her favorite local spot when visiting.I love the area! And to match Muramoto has a stunning interior. Dark and wood elements, it feels very peaceful and upscale.They offer a variety of nigiri, regular, and specialty rolls - all pretty standard pricing. But the real winner? Their Sushi Combos. These are chef's choice of the categories, with a few different combo options. We went for the Maki Combo: 3 rolls - 1 regular, 1 inside-out, and 1 special roll (all chef's choice) for $25. That's a heck of a deal considering some specialty rolls are $16! We ended up getting the Rainbow Roll as our specialty roll, which had a ton of fresh fish and would have been our choice anyway.We ended up adding the dragon roll as well which was delicious and saucy. Service was kind and helpful - when I forgot my bag at the restaurant, they held onto it for me until I could come retrieve it. Try their sushi combos!"

Mine came out last, and my friends had had me try some of their sushi. By the time mine came, I was starting to get full. Other all you can eat sushi places I've been to have had super fast order to table times.The sushi was good, but it lacked a lot of flavor, so I made up for it with the shoyu.The desert was a mochi ice cream ball covered in whipped cream. I loved whipped cream, and that was unnecessary.I'd come back if my friends wanted to."

"Work took me to Grand Geneva Resort and Spa this week. Craving for steak, checked out Chophouse. Atmosphere was very romantic with a perfect lighting overseeing the Lake. My server was Danielle, she was awesome and make good recommendations. Started with Lobster Bisque, wished the serving was bigger, LOL. Wagyu was only 6oz but packed with flavor and instantly melts in your mouth, followed by Foie Gras, which was amazing and very fatty. Not your everyday meal but it was so good. I finished off with the chocolate blackberry cake. Overall, meal was excellent and worth a return trip."

"Indian Village has been my favorite restaurant for 5+ years. I have brought all of my friends and family here, and everyone loves it! They have remodeled within the last year and it is beautiful. It is family owned and everyone is welcoming and helpful if you are unsure about what to order. The restaurant is open until 10 which is hard to find in Greenfield. They are also on Doordash and don't upcharge The menu can be overwhelming if you are a newbie. Try the Gobi Manchurian for an appetizer. Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken are the most loved dishes. My current favorite is Kadai Chicken. There is an abundance of vegetarian options - I recommend Chana Masala. I have yet to try something I don't like!"

"Last week some co-workers and I celebrated Lunar New Year and we decided to do a family style lunch. Each of us order an entree to share and appetizers. The entries we ordered are general tso's chicken, cashew chicken, tofu and vegetables, and Beef and Broccoli. For the appetizers we ordered xiao long bao, shrimp dumpling, chicken potsticker, pan friend vegetable roll, and seafood hot and sour soup. My favorites of all the food were the general tso's chicken is the best I have ever had! I loved the chicken potsticker and Xiao long bao. All the food was amazing! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We shared the food on the lazy Susan and it was a really good time and a really great way to celebrate the Lunar New Year."

"Good food, service, and an ideal location make this restaurant a must-visit. It's a great part of Mundelein's eateries and restaurants. Located right across from Diamond Lake, by its beach, Gale Street Inn, which is an outpost of the original classic restaurant in the Jefferson Park area of Chicago, serves delicious tasting dishes and drinks. They are known for their classic style, no-frills bbq ribs. I have not had a chance to go to their original location yet to try those ribs, but I sampled them at this location. We had made a reservation for a mid-evening time frame. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were promptly seated at a table of our choice based on the available tables. We sat with a view from a window overlooking Diamond Lake as well as the sunset to follow. We were served warm bread with sesame seeds on its crust with sweet white butter to go with it. The butter was smooth, and the bread was soft and fresh. We started with a couple of glasses of wine (one red, one white) and an order of Roasted Beets salad as an appetizer. For entrees, we order ribs & fries from kids' meals, Gnocchi Al Pesto, and Sausage Orecchiette. The salad and the kids' meal dish came out in a timely fashion, but the other dishes took longer than expected. Our server kept us informed on when we can expect our dishes to come out, but we were not informed as to why it was taking long for our dishes to be served. In the meantime, we enjoyed the delicious salad, which had a couple of different types of beets (red & gold), mixed greens, goat cheese, pistachios, and balsamic glaze house dressing. It was refreshing. I had a glass of Salmon Creek Pinot Noir, and it was smooth and not quite dry, which is good. Finally, when our entrees were served, I was ready to dig into my pasta. My Gnocchi dish looked good, smelled yummy, and tasted absolutely fantastic. It was freshly made with grilled chicken pieces, and the pesto was quite flavorful. I couldn't get enough of it. The Sausage Orecchiette was pretty decent. The sausage, with a mild, subtle taste of fennel, tasted good. There was broccoli in the dish that I didn't care for. The pasta was al-dente, which was good, but it lacked a proper portion of tomato sauce, in my opinion. My wife liked it the way it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Last but not least, we had scrumptious and decadent slice of fresh Tiramisu with some strawberries and drizzled chocolate sauce. It was divine. It was one of the best Tiramisu pastries I hedge had in a while. Highly recommended. We had a very good time at Gale Street Inn. It was definitely worth checking out. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and ambiance, and the food and drinks variety is great. They have a nice bar area, plenty of tables in the dining room, and a fireplace to make you feel cozy. Plus, if you get a window side table, then on a nice weather day, you can enjoy the sunset over the lake while enjoying your meal. I recommend to all those who have not been here before to check out this fabulous restaurant."

The server we ended up with was confused and overwhelmed and initially reversed drinks of. Few of those who were in my group. He was overwhelmed and there was only a couple tables in the pace beside us but we did get the drinks sorted out ourselves as he was flustered. Food came and it was actually really good and for that I will give the 4 stars but service was 2 stars at best. Sat a long time before seeing refills when needed. I'd recommend trying this but diner beware service can be shaky and make sure you use the street side door to come in."

One thing we miss is the pre-COVID salad bar, but the house salad is pretty good, in my opinion. My server, Joe or Joey... it's been a week or so, was very enthusiastic and polite to a tee. I can't remember the last time I've been called ma'am so much in a short period of time! I have absolutely nothing to complain about.... EXCEPT... the dessert tray. I choose the one thing on the tray that sold out. Disappointed, yes. I told the super friendly Joe that he should discount my bill the cost of the two slices of pie. He smiled and laughed, dang. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask."

The food is good and the menu expansive -- plus the management is extremely hands-on and responsive. We had an order of one of the rib options that was unexpectedly tough and not what was expected and when the floor manager came over to ask how our meal was, and heard this, he had a replacement order of a better quality of ribs brought to us gratis and scrubbed the original order from the bill. That wasn't asked for, he did it to be gracious -- these folks go out of their way to keep a customer happy and coming back (and we will!). Thanks much!PS: They know how to serve catfish here. That is not always a given, esp. up in the North. The catfish appetizer bites are something I always order. If catfish was on the taco option list, that would be even better!"
