"We had dinner here on Christmas day, and the restaurant was extremely busy. Fortunately, we had reservation for the time of its opening, and the staff ran the place very efficiently. The appetizers were served very quickly, but we had to wait for a while for our main dishes probably because the kitchen had to serve a large number of carryout orders as well. We ordered three appetizers (Samosa Chat, Gobhi Manchurian, and Mixed Non-Vegetarian Platter) and three main dishes (Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Bhunna, and Palak Paneer). Given the large volume of food the restaurant serves for both in-person dining and carryout, the dishes were evidently prepared in a relatively simple and highly efficient manner. They all tasted good and seemed to use fresh ingredients, but none had complex or superb flavors that wowed us. The prices are quite reasonable, so we consider the restaurant to be of good value."
"Cafe India continues to be consistently the best Indian restaurant, and my go to. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is a 10!"
Boneless cubes of tandoori chicken baked and tossed into a deliciously creamy, buttery tomato sauce with a touch of gram masala and fenugreek leaves.

"I've only gotten DoorDash from here so I can't speak to the restaurant itself. However, I'll share thoughts about the food: 1) Lamb keema mutter -- SO good. My go to. Get it every single time. I feel like it can be stretched to last three meals, for one person2) idk why but their naan needs help. It's not very good3) veggie pakora - wonderful. I loved this to satisfy my veggie and fried food cravings :)I feel like this was better than I expected for Oconomowoc Indian food, but not the best Indian food ever."
"Always tell people that this is a must try for Indian food. Not only do they have a ton of great traditional meat dishes, but they also have a lot of vegan options as well! Most things are marked veg but be sure to ask if you're not sure as the staff is very well versed on what is or can be. The place seems small but they have a huge side room to expand for larger parties or busier times. There is always tv on and Indian Idol is a favorite. Definitely worth coming in for any meal."
"If I knew the lunch buffet was $20 per person we wouldn't have stopped. The service was great and the food was hot. But some of the dishes on the buffet were kind of bland. The naan was thin and dense like a tortilla not a soft flatbread. Overall it was a hit or miss flavor-wise on the buffet depending on what you chose to try. At least I saved a couple bucks with the 10% yelp coupon. I think this place would probably be a better value for dinner and you'll likely have more choices in a menu than what was out on the buffet. But since it's a bit of a drive I don't know if I'll stop here again."
"Some VERY good Indian food. I got the lamb rogan josh, some naan and chappati, a salt lassi, and then some kheer (rice pudding). Every single one of those things was top notch."
"I took my family out for lunch at the buffet at Aroma. All the foods were delicious. My kids wanted me to take a picture of their plates. My favorites with the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, spinach paneer, and mango ice cream. Everything was so tasty! I would definitely recommend going for the lunch buffet, it's a great way to try different dishes for a fraction of the cost. The service was great, the servers kept the food coming, and they were quick to clear the tables. While we were there a huge party arrived, but the manager was able to accommodate them. I will definitely be back."
"Indian Village has been my favorite restaurant for 5+ years. I have brought all of my friends and family here, and everyone loves it! They have remodeled within the last year and it is beautiful. It is family owned and everyone is welcoming and helpful if you are unsure about what to order. The restaurant is open until 10 which is hard to find in Greenfield. They are also on Doordash and don't upcharge The menu can be overwhelming if you are a newbie. Try the Gobi Manchurian for an appetizer. Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken are the most loved dishes. My current favorite is Kadai Chicken. There is an abundance of vegetarian options - I recommend Chana Masala. I have yet to try something I don't like!"
"I will admit that I buy a ton of food and then eat it for lunch all week. Normally I am lazy and have it delivered but today I made a quick stop. I ordered the obligatory Chicken Makhani, Palak Paneer along with chicken pakora. I liken chicken pakora to Indian chicken tenders. The flavor is incredible and I swear I could eat a few orders.I love all of their food but like many other Indian places you have to order rice separately which just doesn't make sense to me at all because Asian restaurants don't charge for rice at all. The interior isn't extravagant but who cares when they serve up food that has authentic spices and they don't dumb down the spice."
"The food was fantastic. Super fresh, flavored well, and my in laws love coming here because it's halal and authentic. The owner, I think, was working by herself and was super kind, making sure that each table was tended to."
"Best Indian Food in Milwaukee. We continue to come back time and time again after trying many other Indian restaurants. They are always consistent with the quality of food, fantastic taste and great service. The owners really work hard and take pride in the delicious food they create. This has become our go to favorite Indian restaurant and I really hope you all go try it out. You won't be disappointed. It's become a tradition with my Boyfriend's family to meet here around every Thanksgiving to have a celebratory dinner with one another! AND if you like beer Old Monk is the best!!!"
"Flambe seems to be a popular Indian spot for the locals, as the place was pretty busy when we came for dinner.Their menu is pretty extensive, offering skewers, apps, tandoor options, veg and non-veg entrees, rice, breads, and desserts. We ordered:+Malai Chicken Tikka - one of their more popular flambe skewers, this came with two hanging skewers of chicken chunks that were covered in some type of a marinade; there was a pool of malai gravy on the bottom; we thought that the presentation was going to give a more 'wow' factor, but there was some rum poured over each skewer, not really 'dousing' them as it was stated on the menu, and then lit - however, there really wasn't any flame action; the chunks of chicken and the gravy were more on the room temperature/cold end, so I'm thinking these were prepared way in advanced and maybe caught them in the thawing process?+Jinga Masala Vida - shrimp cakes prepared with chili, cilantro, mint, garlic, ginger, and spices; could have been served hot and fresh out of the pan; these came with 3 patties and had a slight crisp with a kick; these do fall apart easily and do not hold its shape+Butter Chicken - roasted dark chicken in a tomato-based sauce with fenugreek; even though the bowl that this was served in was warm, the curry itself was not; the sauce itself was also more thin in consistency and kind of watered down; flavor wasn't that great, either +Chicken Shahi Korma - prepared with chicken breast cubes, but this also seemed to use predominantly dark chicken meat; the menu stated this was topped with golden fried nuts and raisins, but it seemed as if there were little chopped nuts mixed in the sauce, and there were no raisins, which I actually was excited for; the dish was also served in a warm bowl, but the curry itself was not temperature hot; the sauce was also thin and watery +Peas Pulao - described as steamed basmati with tempered green peas; both rice and the peas were not cooked properly, as they were still undercooked/raw +Garlic naan - usually comes topped with cilantro, but they were able to make one without, which we appreciated; definitely larger ins size than the usual, but there were more hard, burnt areas rather than the fluffy bread you'd expect; I also wished there were more garlic on thereService was friendly, but the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed in checking in with tables - we had to wait a while to get extra plates and silverware, our drinks, and the menu. It also took time to place our orders in.When you enter, there really isn't a 'waiting area' or a host/hostess to receive you; it's a little awkward, as you'll have to stand in front of their bar in the back to let them know you need a table. The place is more on the smaller end with a handful of seating. I really loved their decor of the colorful hanging umbrellas!Located in a small strip plaza off of Peterson, there's ample parking in the large shared lot. They have another location out in Buffalo Grove.+food items are not served hot +friendly, but slow service +plenty of parking"

This restaurant is worth trying if you are a fan of Indian food. The potato samosa was 5/5. The papdi chat although the presentation was a little different than other restaurants I've tried, but the flavor was 5/5. My favorite thing to eat is chicken tikka masala. The flavor was good and the sauce was pleasant. It is not the best flavor I've had and would give it a 4/5. Lots of reviews rave about the tikka masala flavor so maybe it's just my pallet or preference. The service was excellent, attentive and kind! All in all a good Indian spot

This spot came in handy as I arrived to Milwaukee after a long day, and at a hotel with no room service. Enter delivery right to my room of some tasty Indian food from this spot! One highlight here was the veggie samosa. It was so flavorful and loaded with potatoes. The naan was actually not my favorite; different texture than I usually see, and not a lot of flavor. I went basic and got the chicken tikka masala which was pretty good. The chicken was very tender and the sauce had a nice and mild flavor. More of a commentary for the delivery app, but I would loved the option to kick the spiciness up a notch. So without having actually been in this restaurant, I can safely say it's a good option to order delivery from. Hard to go wrong with Indian food on a chilly night.

Food - This is the best Indian food anywhere. I've eaten Indian food all around the US and the world and love it. They have the best Indian food in the US that I have ever had and consistently it's the best. I live in Seattle now and there's nowhere as good. The garlic naan is awesome - perfect amount of garlic, right balance of soft and crunchy, not too greasy or dry. The palak paneer is my favorite. My family and partner always get lamb vindaloo and the chicken tikka masala and feel the same about the quality. The masala chai is also lovely. You literally cannot order a bad dish here. Service - their service is always really good. It's family run so they're usually always working with who is available and they are pretty good about that. Food comes out in a very reasonable amount of time considering how fresh it tastes. Ambiance - it's in what used to be a Burger King but they have made it their own and made it cozier. They also usually play Bollywood movies and music videos which is fun. Tbh they could operate out of a cardboard box and I would not care though because it is that good. TLDR: best Indian food I've ever had (and I've had a lot in lots of places) and I always come here when I'm home visiting from Seattle.

We first went here the other day and dined in and order the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, vegetable samosa and garlic naan and loved it all! This location was cozy and modern with great service. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered it to go the next day and it did not disappoint. The second time We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan again . All were so flavorful and delicious and the chicken was just right in tenderness. Overall it's well seasoned and a fair price. Something to keep in mind: when I ordered the Korma the first time, I got it in medium and it was a bit spicier than I expected.Overall highly recommend if you're looking to stuff yourself with Indian food

Haven't been there in ages, and the flavor was as good as ever ... great place to sample via the lunch buffet, if you are not familiar with Indian food. Prices have gone up a bit, but I guess I'm just getting older!

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat after trying a few places and having things not work out. We arrived at 4 pm however they didn't open until 4:30 pm. I decided to give them a call and they confirmed they would open at 4:30 pm so we decided to wait. All I can say is that it was well worth the wait. We ordered the lamb chops for an appetizer and they were wonderful. I ordered the fish masala with shrimp added and medium spice and boy was it delicious. My wife had the special Bollywood biryani and she loved it. The service was good, the environment was great, and the food was top-notch. Whenever we stop in Milwaukee we will make sure to stop by Bollywood Grill and get some great eats.

We called to order after looking through their online menu. The staff was courteous and alerted us of the price increase so we aren't surprised by it, which was really helpful. We were aware that the prices are high but we're ok with it. Both fish curries were $16-17 each, just the curry and does not come with rice so we made rice at home. Pashaweri Naan -- this is a sweet filling naan with fruits and nuts, perfect addition to savory dishes and as a snack. I liked that the fillings are just the dried fruits and not with sauce or syrup, so it's not overwhelming. I like the drier and crisper texture yet the naan itself is still soft and fluffy. This was definitely a pleasant find!Keema naan-- minced lamb filling, I love the flavor profile. I liked that it has cilantro and cumin seeds packed with flavor. Definitely a good contrast with the pashaweri naan. Definitely would order again even just have the naan itself since it has carbs and meat all packed into one. Chicken biryani-- the flavor was good, the chicken was tender but there wasn't a lot. I think I was used to a more oily presentation, but the ones we had was a bit drier. Overall the flavor was still good albeit a bit more mild than I'm used to. I ate it with the fish curry which was a lot more salty l!Regular fish curry and goan fish curry-- we really liked the regular fish curry last time, and decided to try the goan fish curry along with it since they said the only difference was that the goan has coconut milk in it. It did come out to be a more yellowish color than red. We loved both! The fish was probably fried so a bit drier but stayed intact within the curry. They were decently generous with the fish pieces! Both sauces were really good, I don't think I have a preference of one over the other. Really pleasantly surprised by the naan finds today. Thinking about trying some the other ones next time!

NEW FAVORITE! Was on the hunt for some later evening eats (9pmish) on a Thursday evening and found this spot was open until 10pm. Hurray! My dining companion and I were able to be seated immediately. They have a full bar but no specialty cocktail list. They can make a Wisconsin old fashioned but their tending skills don't go too far beyond that. That said, our server was absolutely willing to give making a Manhattan a try (what a gem!). We told him how to make it and he used an Indian brand of whiskey and for a first attempt--it was all cherry garnished goodness. For our meal, my dining companion and I shared some garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and aloo gobi. All was outstanding but the two shining stars of the show were the garlic naan (delish!) and their chicken tikka masala (out of this dang world). The chicken tikka masala was perfectly balanced with the most gorgeous mix of spices lending to a gloriously flavorful dish. One of the best chicken tikka masala dishes I've had anywhere. Our server was delightful, accommodating, and absolutely lovely in every way.If you haven't yet, you need to go.Get to it!

"The food at Bombay Sweets is incredible! Just the amount of spiciness and intense flavors. So many different things to try, and yet we never have a dish that wasn't great. The samosas are ridiculous and worth a trip, alone. The service can be a bit slow, but it's worth the wait."
"Ordered delivery while in town for a wedding!Food was fresh, hot and so flavorful!! All of their entrees come with rice, I called to confirm before hand! MAJOR plus since I find that a lot of places make you add it on the side, so annoying!! I got the chicken Tikki marsala, chicken tikka and garlic naan! Excited for my left overs tomorrow morning!"
"Upon walking in it was a little confusing. But someone came right over to us and directed us to a table that was beautifully set and very clean. The buffet was set out to not only tell us what the dish was but what was in it. Everything was light and very well seasoned. It's been a while since I've eaten goat, but I was a baaaaaad girl. I ate a ton. Now I have to get up and waddle out the door. The customer service was excellent. I don't think we could have asked for better. We tried some new items and they were pretty delicious. It's a great location. It's directly off the road. There's a great variety of foods to choose from, and of all spice levels. I would recommend. Score as follows:Location: excellent 5Customer service: excellent 5Prices: excellent 5Quality and quantity: excellent 5Cleanliness: excellent 5"
"Brought a friend here for lunch on a Sunday and it was amazing!Ordered a lot of the same things as my last visit but happy we did. Everything was delicious and there was plenty of food for the two of us for leftovers! The ginger naan was perfectly spiced - highly recommend!Service was quick and polite. Would've loved the buffet but maybe soon.... can't wait to come back!"
"I've been coming here for years and, until recently, didn't have a negative thing to say. We've had carry out and dined in. You get lots of food, delicious food, at a good price. Eating in is always a bit awkward, as the restaurant is often fairly empty. It doesn't worry me, as I figure they do a lot of their business in carry out. It can just feel a little weird to be one of a few tables in such a large space.Last time we were there, we took my grandmother to celebrate her birthday. I ordered the lamb vindaloo, as I have before, but this time it was almost inedible. All I could taste was the heat. I love spicy food, but this had no other flavor. I had to mix some spinach from my grandmother's saag and some sauce from my husband's tikka masala just to make it edible. That said, the saag paneer and tikka masala were wonderful as always (and the naan, mmmm!!), and I'll just know not to order the vindaloo again in the future."
"Wow!!!! I randomly picked something off the menu and it ended up being the best meal I can remember. We loved the music and the service. Don't get me started on the Naan bread. So good."
"Friends, let me tell you my Shah story. My first visit was years and years ago - my then-boss was a rather curmudgeonly older man who was fanatical about cleanliness and very likely mowed his lawn in a custom made Italian suit. This man did not play. So, one day he said "I'm taking you somewhere special for lunch". I was pretty excited - the Pfister? Zarletti? Hotel Metro? Oh no - it was a hole in the wall in a sketchy office building basement where the food was served from a cafeteria steam table. I was like "really, dude?" but after one taste I was hooked. HOOKED. We had lunch here at least once a week for 5+ years.Fast forward to present day - its been a few years since I worked downtown and I was missing the Shah something terrible. The Mister agreed to go with and was a bit taken aback at how happy an $8 lunch could make a person. First, the Shah remembered me, even though it's been a few years - he thought I'd moved to France for work (from your lips to Gods Ears, my man). I ordered my old standby The Thursday and almost wept with joy. It was perfect - spicy, aromatic Pakistani deliciousness. Here's what you need to know:*There are "daily specials" (I.e. the "Tuesday") but they're all available every day*The line will be long. Totally worth it.*Open from 11:30-2 during the week only. Cash only. Everything is $8.*There is a special green sauce in a bottle. You want to use this - generously.*There are rotis on the menu. Sometimes, they're actually available but mostly not. Get one if they are.The Shah is the only thing I miss about not working downtown. It's the real deal."
"This is a small family Indian restaurant in Libertyville. Excellent food. The dining room , if you can call it that, was tiny with three tables but packed full. Everyone in the restaurant was Indian and all said they eat there regularly. Portions were great, service was great."
"The new location is great. It's a nice large restaurant and they now have a lunch buffet which is nice. All vegetarian food and quite interesting spicing compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. Not terribly expensive either--around $15 / person for the buffet. Service is good with the caveat that I've only gone in recent times for the buffet and can't speak to non buffet times.Plenty of parking in the lot of their strip mall.I'll add that my Indian co-workers at a previous place of employment used to recommend this place to me all the time."
"The chicken biryani is such a value. I had to have at least 4 whole chicken thighs in my meal (it does have bone, you have to work. You will survive). The order could seriously serve 3 people. I wish they gave more sauce. The chicken was spicy and tender. The rice had just the right levels of saffron, masala, and garlic. The star though are those samosas. Flakey, perfect crust that wasn't too oily and a well mixed mix of veg. The spice sold it; daring with a good, but not overpowering heat. The best I've had on this continent. I'm not saying go in and get 3 for $3 but you wouldn't regret life if you did. If you get 4 feel free to bring me one."
"A feast of delights was delivered to us from Himalayan Sherpa Kitchen. We were so happy for this delicious medley of flavors. We ate and enjoyed: Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Indian Delights (think veg Samosa), Palak Paneer, Sherpa Dumpling Chicken (Momo) and Tandoori Chicken. We asked for the dishes to be a mild level of heat, and they were, and the flavors shined through. We've dined in person and service is always lovely. But sometimes at the end of the week, you just want to veg and be comfy, you know? All I can say--fantastic way to start the weekend!"
"LOVE!This is my go-to, when I am too lazy too cook, when it's girls night, when I'm happy, when I'm sad... anytime is the right time for Pizza N Curry! My favorite has to be the Tandoori Chicken pizza with spinach and paneer. I love the chewy yet crisp crust, and it's just a beautiful combination of ingredients! I also like the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, but it's just not as amazing as the Tandoori. The vegetable samosas are also incredible! I love the dipping sauce that it comes with (a cilantro mint, I believe). Vegetable is better than the chicken, hands down.Masala fries - YES. Kanye West once tweeted, "French fries are the devil." I firmly believe he may have been talking about these masala fries.Chicken biryani is also good - it is a very large portion but was not as much chicken as I would have expected.Last time I ordered the BBQ combo platter, which was a sampler of their different meats. I definitely had some favorites but I honestly am not sure what was which. For $25, it was quite pricey but a good opportunity to try different items.Always great service and order has always been fresh, hot, and accurate. I cannot recommend the Tandoori Chicken Pizza enough!!"
"This was my first exposure to Pakistani cuisine, and I am now sold forever. I came for dinner on a Thursday evening with a group of 5 colleagues, including someone from Pakistan. They seated us right away and provided menus. The friendly server answered all of our questions and helped explain the menu. I ordered the chapli kabob which was delicious and came to the table still sizzling from the kitchen. I also tried someone's BBQ mixed platter which was moist and flavorful. I tried a lot of the other dishes at the table as well and enjoyed everything. The dining room is small but comfortable and the service is excellent. Our server was beyond helpful and accommodating. When it came time to check out, we had to divide the check 5 ways, and they handled it with no problem."
"my mom & i got takeout from here yesterday for the first time; yesterday + today they are celebrating their one year anniversary with 25% off your order, which was perfect timing since we just found out about the place! we got the fried cauliflower to share (it was AMAZING. didn't taste gross/deep fried in the slightest, it was perfect!), and she got the chicken tikka masala while i got the lamb korma. the portion sizes are great, (the pictures i attached are our leftovers, ate all of the fried cauliflower and have tons of food for the next day or two!) some of the best indian food i've had, and the customer service while placing the order and picking up were incredible! we placed the order ahead of time, and while i was on my way to pick up they even gave my mom a call to let her know it was hot & ready! we had a busy day so we were unable to sit down to eat, but the inside of the restaurant looked great as well! 10/10 recommend!!!"
"I loved my meal today! First they were super quick which was nice. The naan was fluffy and some of the best I have ever tried. The chicken tikka was spicy and had a lot of flavor which was good. It came with veggies to mix in as well. Highly recommend if you go to the Crossroad Collective!"
"Waukesha has been waiting for a restaurant like this for a while. The food was phenomenal, the service was outstanding and we ordered more to go.I cannot wait to be on first name basis with the owners. Go go go just go and have your own experience, don't miss out."
"The food and the waiters were amazing. This was my first experience at Swagat and the environment is relaxing. I stopped in on Sunday evening and enjoyed the following: Samosas, Panpuri, and goat curry. Everything was delicious! Definitely will be back to experience more tasty food. Oh, I can't forget the garlic and cheese naan. The cheese is stuffed in the naan. I repeat for my Wisconsin cheese lovers, the cheese is stuffed in the naan!"
"My wife was excited. She had discovered a new restaurant she wanted to take me to. So a 30 mile trip to the south side of Sheboygan was in store. We entered a very spacious, light and tidy dining area and were immediately seated. Wait person was friendly and efficient, our service was excellent throughout our experience here. We were given bottled water, which I found a bit odd... but okay.We ordered veggie samosas, vegetable momos, cheese naan and shrimp korma. While we waited for our food we watched the two televisions above the bar. Best as I can describe they were playing Indian music videos. Very entertaining...lavish costumes and grand productions. Young men and women earnestly singing to each other. Hugging, but never kissing. Then the food started coming. The samosas first....oh man, were they good! Then the naan and momos. I love a good naan. So I loved the naan here. Both sauces were perfect. Mint and tamarin I believe. So far it had been a stellar experience. Then came our main dish. The flavors were complex and delicious. Had never seen rice quite like we got; but I need more of it. Along with the shrimp korma made for a great main course. All in all, an excellent meal. In retrospect two appetizers would have been plenty. Having three and sharing a main course was more than sufficient. Usually I'll quit when I'm full; but here the flavors kept me nibbling away until I was stuffedVegetarian friendly with plenty of choices for all diets. If you are looking for an Indian food fix, it would behoove you to patronize this fine restaurant. Enjoy!"
"Everything was amazing! My stomach wouldn't letme take picture this time! Haha. I had the chicken Malabar, samosas, garlic naan and a mango lassi. Everything was delicious and I definitely had leftovers. The waiter was very nice and friendly. You can also pick your level of spicy! I would recommend going here, the food is SO delicious. I'll be back!I came back with my mom and got the butter chicken! So good again!"
"Let me start by saying do not judge a book by its cover. When I first pulled up to the restaurant, I initially questioned my decision to eat there. While clean, the ambiance is definitely lacking. That being said, I am extremely thankful that I gave it a shot. This may very well be some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. I am a huge fan of chicken vindaloo and naan-bread. This is what I order every time I eat at an Indian restaurant and this restaurant may have been the best chicken vindaloo and naan I have ever had. The vindaloo had large pieces of potato and chicken smothered in the best vindaloo sauce I've sampled. I tried the Aloo naan, it was perfectly cooked with a perfect texture and unbelievable flavor. Highly recommend this restaurant for its food!"
"This a nice little gem right off 94, as the name implies. Good decor, fabulous food and even open late night"
"Jay's offers delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food as well as other cuisines. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Kadai, rice and Garlic Cilantro Naan. All of which were excellent."
"Popped in and had lentil soup , curry chicken and potato three small portions to go nine bucks was excellent very hot in heat. Next time I need bread or unfreeze nan at home. Was excellent."
