"We order take out from here at least every couple of weeks. It is close to home, which is good, because the food is always ready in 5 to 10 minutes. Our favorites are the shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mei fun, and beef chow mei fun. We always find the food delicious and dependable. Hands down our favorite Chinese food in the area. This will remain our go to on nights we do not feel like cooking."
"The food here rocks. The fried rice? Amazing! It's got beef, shrimp, and chicken all mixed in, and somehow, everything just works together perfectly. It looks as good as it tastes, too, making you want to dive right in.Then there were the tempura sweet potatoes. They're crispy on the outside, super soft on the inside, and just the right kind of sweet. Definitely grabbing these again next time. The sweet and sour chicken....the chicken was soft, the coating was just crispy enough without being oily, and the sauce was the bomb - sweet, sour, and clinging to every bite. It's the kind of dish that makes you wonder why other places can't get it this right.Washed it all down with some milk tea, which was the perfect call. It's light, refreshing, and just the thing to balance out all those flavors."
Our most famous dish with over 1 million orders sold. Extra tender breasts of all white meat chicken hand-dipped our homemade batter and served delightfully crispy. Every order topped with our Hong kong sauce and garnished with green onions. Served over a bed of Bok choy, mushrooms and water chestnuts

"Omg the portion was huge and it was a lunch for only 6.15 and tax! It was hot and pretty good but my taste would be a little less sauce but ill take it. You can choose crab Rangoon, wonton or egg drop soup or egg roll with lunch specials. Pretty good deal if I say so myself. It's just take out right now small area by door they have it all inclosed with a speaker and sliding door for payment. Picnic bench outside for sit but to go probably more ideal if not going far."
"Nice little restaurant and the friendliest staff on the planet. The food was pretty good. wasn't too crazy about the egg rolls but the rest was good. The owner, Mrs Lee is a lovely lady"
"This is our go to Chinese delivery place in Janesville! Awesome crab rangoon , delicious beef with mixed vegetables, legit egg rolls, and yummy orange chicken. Nothing is greasy. The delivery is always sooner than predicted and the customer service is exemplar!"
"Went here for takeout today. The food was pretty good and had some good options for vegetarians! We really liked the sesame tofu.We couldn't call ahead to order and they were super packed so the food took a long time. But overall it was good, and I'd suggest checking it out!"
"Delicious food, portions were just right, service was excellent, and nice atmosphere too. Give them a try!"
"To be fair I had only 3 things here: an egg roll, pork fried rice and shrimp with lobster sauce. The egg roll was very good and tasted fresh. The fried rice was amazing, great quality of ingredients and very tasty. The rice was by far my favorite thing I ordered. Last, the shrimp with lobster sauce brought my rating down as I did not care for it. There was a good amount of nicely sized shrimp although the sauce on this dish was strange and not very flavorful. It was a milky white color with just some peas and carrots, I guess I'm used to a more brownish color with some beans and other ingredients. I would try something else next time when driving through the area."
"One of the best Chinese food places around. Food is top tier and service is second to none. Also on certain nights they'll have karaoke!"
"I was happy to see that they brought back their dine-in option recently!During my visit I ordered Crab Rangoon and Szechwan Chicken with saki (Tozai 'Snow Maiden' Negori).Crab Rangoon made for a good appetizer as I waited for the entree. As a fan of spicy food, I found the Szechwan Chicken to be a good balance of flavor and heat. Far from overwhelming, but enough to get a small reaction as I finished my plate."
"You know when you just have a hankering for Chinese food? Well that was us this weekend. This led us to discover King's Wok which is actually really close by. They have an overwhelming amount of options on their menu. Truly every single dish you could be craving. To make it easiest, each of the four of us picked an item to all share, knowing there would be more than enough food. We ended up with spring rolls, shenaz beef, sesame chicken, and lo mein veggie noodles. There wasn't a dish a didn't like! My favorite though was probably the beef, as it had a real kick to it and it came mixed with a bunch of cooked veggies. Also the lo mein noodles because you really can't go wrong with those. They had plenty of flavor and were great to mix in with the other In terms of service - super speedy. I called in for our order, and it was ready for pick up within 15 minutes. All of the food arrived nice and hot, and there was plenty of it. Oh and of course, complimentary fortune cookies all around!"
"The buffet is nothing to write home about overall, but the steamed dumplings are my favorite anywhere. The fact that they have Sriracha at every table in which to dip the dumplings is a plus. The black pepper chicken is solid, although not quite as good as that found at the China Wok in Middleton, which is run by the owner's brother. I also like any of the "special" dishes, such as the special pork, and the BBQ chicken is tasty. Historically my main complaint is that their General Tso's chicken is terrible - probably the worst cuts of chicken after preparing the other dishes. Typically grisly and overcooked. Normally that is my favorite dish at most places, but not here.Service is friendly, and the owner tries to make regulars feel like welcome friends. In short, it's a reasonably priced standard Chinese Buffet. It's one of your better lunch options if you happen to be in Waunakee."

Food is always hot we get it to-go and it is fast. There is a joke that no matter what you order it will be ready in 10 minute and sure enough it is hot and fresh.

The call to order the food was quick and easy. The food took 40 minutes to be made and delivered. The sweet and sour chicken was subpar. The chicken was fatty and not much flavor. The Singapore noodles were pretty good. The egg rolls were amazing though so if you order from here make sure you get some EGG ROLLS!!!

Our first time ordering from here and we were happily surprised. We were told it would take 40 minutes but arrived in less than 20.Started with egg rolls, which were shorter than we are used to but also larger in diameter. The veggies inside were fresh and crunchy with just a hint of heat. Very tasty.Fried dumplings were nice with excellent dough but the filling was just a bit under seasoned. The sauce made the difference between blah and excellent. Worth getting again. The wonton soup was excellent. The wonton filling was better than expected after the dumplings and the broth was seasoned just right. Our shrimp lo mein was a little different as the noodles were mostly short but that made it less messy. Plenty of shrimp, not over cooked and a nice sauce. We'll try the pork version next time. The beef with mushrooms was the best. FRESH and perfectly cooked mushrooms in a sauce that is not quite the same as what you expect. It's better than what we are used to. Next time will be beef and broccoli. As transplants from the east coast, we expect a lot of a Chinese restaurant. Until today we had a different favorite Chinese joint.

The food is always spot on But maybe due to language barrier, when I called for reservations for 4, and said I would like a table along the wall, directly to left when you enter dining room), I arrive and we have a table smack dab in middle of room She moved us to my request of table along the wall This has happened before, so just be prepared Also, out of Plum wine Again Cmon!!

Don't let the older reviews keep you from giving Szechwan Place a try. New owners are very nice and after trying several dishes I would have to say this is now our favorite Chinese Food in the greater Antioch, IL area. BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Beef and Green Pepper (Pepper Steak), Hunan Chicken and Egg Rolls are favorites so far.

"Very good Chinese food. We have done the Sesame Chicken, Broccoli and chicken, walnut shrimp and shrimp fried rice and loved it all."
"You cannot find better Chinese food for the price! I'd suggest going closer to when they open, or it can get really full in there. They have extremely quick service when they bring your tea, fill your drink, and clear your plates. Each time I've been there (which was twice a month when I lived in town) the employees have been so helpful and kind. The space is a little tight when you're adding to your plate by the buffet, which is why I suggest getting there early. Street parking.I suggest trying the Crab Rangoon and Honey Chicken!"
"I really love this Chinese restaurant. Ordered takeout tonight and got shrimp fried rice, chicken FR, chicken lomein, and a shrimp egg roll. They have a table setup in front of the door with hand sanitizer so you don't actually go in the restaurant, they sort of bring it to the door. I live close by so when I got home and opened the boxes they were still steaming hot. Everything was really fresh and great. I noticed the shrimp were the full size shrimp, not those tiny little canned ones that some Chinese restaurants will sometimes use..even in their egg rolls! Anyway it was a good experience and I look forward to going back. Oh yeah and I forgot the best part...my bill was only $16 for this haul of food! The containers were stuffed to the brim too!"
"We ordered some food over the phone. We had to go pick it up. Everything was delicious. We had Chow Mein. Husband had beef and I got shrimp. Both were really good. The woman on the phone helped us order because I always get confused on whether Chow Mein or Lo Mein are the soft noodles. The woman on her phone was so sweet and helpful! I'm SUPER excited because they actually have dumplings at this place. Not just some weak ass pot stickers. Their dumplings have a nice thick skin. The meat inside is delicious. This place doesn't beat out the dumplings from my favorite home town Chinese place but I'm so excited to get the dumpling fix I've been looking for!! Told my husband that this is our new Chinese take out and he doesn't get a say. The inside of the building has spaces available for dinning in. There are a couple tables against the wall and a few just hanging out on the floor. They have canned and bottled soda in a cooler."
"Need a quick Chinese fix? This is your place. Unbelievably inexpensive and super fast to have an order ready. They deliver as well. Great generals chicken and sweet and sour pork. Good egg rolls too. Will definitely dine here again."
"Excellent lunch buffet. My kids love this place so we've come here a few times specifically for their buffet. It's a small buffet - but certainly not lacking variety! The trays are small and therefore constantly refilled and fresh. Their fried dumplings are some of the best I've had and I love that they have egg foo young on the buffet! The buffet is around $7 for adults and $3.50 or so for two or three (not sure) and up. Not only is the food exceptionally good - the staff is great, too! Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the area."
"Best Chinese restaurant, in my opinion. The menu is massive. The Mongolian beef is my favorite."
"This place is AMAZING. Fast service, priced well, and tastes great. We ordered takeout and got combination fried rice, beef chow fun, egg drop soup, and pork garlic sauce. We walked in to order and the food was hot and ready 10 minutes later. The portions are large, we barely ate half of the food before we got full! There were good amounts of meat across all our dishes and everything was good - I don't think we could pick a favorite. I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad? This is a great cheap, Chinese takeout place. The food tastes reminiscent of when we went here even 10 years ago. Definitely coming here more often."
"Stopped at Chin's with my sister-in-law while in town for her wedding. We were out running errands, and wanted to pick up a quick lunch to bring back to the house. Stopped in Chin's which is a fast casual restaurant, and we were in and out in probably 15 minutes. There's a menu on the wall, or you can pick up a paper menu to see the different items. Unfortunately, they didn't have a gluten free menu, but I went on line to find out the dishes and sauces that were gluten free.I had the chicken and vegetable stir fry with coconut curry sauce. Yum! We took it to go, but buy did it hit the spot. It was affordable too! Probably not as cheap as your favorite college Chinese spot, but it's certainly a good quality for the price!'I did ask them to spice my dish up since it was only one heat sign, but she said it was already spicy. I didn't think that the dish was spicy at all, but tasty!"
"This is hands down my favorite place ever to get Chinese food. Consistently delicious and speedy service. This is one of those word of mouth places you continuously thank which ever friend/family member that told you about it.Stand out item for me here is the Crab Rangoon. I have not had a Crab Rangoon that comes close to the quality of China House. I have been a loyal customer for over two years now and don't plan on deviating anytime soon!"
"I've been a customer for 20 years.... The grandmothers sweet/sour sauce recipe is still best ever. Had the large Chicken fried rice and crab Rangoon ... vodka tonics to wash it down. Server was very attentive ."
"An overlooked gem!A Touch of Hunan is a business I've been going to for over thirty years. It was a much requested spot for family gatherings, & I still haven't found better crab rangoons anywhere in years of searching. Creamy & plump, just a little sweet & soooo yummy. The food is expertly made, with rich portions & excellent service. They've hit hard times since covid, but the food never fell off. Please support A Touch of Hunan if you can, I never want this amazing place to close down.Plus they got goldfish!!!"
"Lived in Watertown for six months and this is definitely the best Chinese food in the greater area. Great spring rolls, crab rangoon, and chicken and broccoli. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is SO friendly! They also serve very fresh fruit (delicious oranges) when you eat in. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch to go or to meet up with friends. I've since moved out of Wisconsin and miss this place!"
"Pretty good food! And good portions for the price. The service was also solid. Nice having a place like this not far from work."
"This is a nice restaurant that serves a variety of menu entrees. Service is fast, staff is friendly, plenty of parking, and a nice atmosphere for dining."
"One of Waukegans tried and true Chinese restaurants. Don't let the looks deceive you. Great fried rice and egg-rolls. Cash only"
"Thursday is a most special of special days at the Wok! We get a group of fellas and go out for lunch. Thursday is Crab Rangoon day! Yes Crab Rangoons! I usually scarf down 10 or so in a sitting. They always come out hot and fresh. Eating Crab Rangoon makes me smile! Tasty yes they are! Anyways this is one of the better buffets in my book. The place is small but small in this case is better. The sound of clanging and clanking from the kitchen lets you know it's being whipped up fresh! Fresh is good and for less than $7 you can stuff your face. They do a good job and the cooking is as authentic and true to the art of Chinese food as it gets. Come early you may not get a seat otherwise. The Wok is one of the best spots near my work out in Brookfield. They got it going on!"
"The food was fire and truly authentic. The Lao papaya salad was authentic to the T: it had padek which is fermented fish. The beef pho was amazing and was such a comfort to enjoy. This will be my go to place for authentic Lao food."
"Good value for the price and the food is spot on. I always get the krab rangoon, egg rolls, pork fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. Partner always gets either sesame chicken or beef and broccoli. It is always hot and tasty and I typically have enough for 2 meals!"
"I decided to take the risk because my brother just loves buffets. He paid so, why not? One star given for friendly service. Food was absolutely terrible. I didn't finish one thing. Sushi options looked absolutely inedible. My intestines definitely paid for this visit too. Place is rundown for sure. I'm just shocked at how packed it was and yes! This place WAS busy!!! My mind is blown. I'll never return."
"My boyfriend and I recently moved to East Troy and this place is AMAZING. I had ordered take out once before and it was so good. The food was hot and fresh. The employees are all very friendly as well. Just yesterday I ordered delivery because I was feeling extra lazy and the food came in about 45/50 minutes and was HOT still. I can't say enough good things about this little local Chinese restaurant."
"Having moved this past year, I found myself looking for a closer option for Chinese food. We found Asian Chef and I am happy to say I will go back.Everything we ordered was great. We got everything we ordered, so that's a plus too.I wouldn't classify this as an eat-in restaurant but you can. Mainly to go or delivery. They were quick. 20 minutes from the time we ordered. Crab Rangoon was outstanding. Sweet and sour chicken, just the way I like it. Some items are a little expensive but others were not."
"Recently moved to the area and was looking for decent Chinese food. This place was nearby so we gave it a go.Ordered crab Rangoon and a small pork lo mein, The crab Rangoon was fabulous! Loved the triangle shape, generous filling, and tasty dipping sauce. The lo mein was delicious as well. Particularly appreciated the onions and mushrooms in the lo mein which added a nice twist.I only wish the lo mein came in a smaller portion. I ordered the small and it was way too much. Noodles don't reheat well for me, so leftovers of this don't work for me.It looks like the place was recently renovated and the staff were friendly and helpful. Appreciated the self service condiments! Will definitely return for that awesome crab Rangoon!"
