Got together with a few friends from college who I hadn't seen in decades. Sat inside at a large comfortable table and had a nice leisurely lunch. Servers weren't at all pushy. Food was good...not destination dining but good. Had a breakfast quesadilla and a white sangria. Was very pleased that we were allowed to hang long after we had finished our food without being shoved out the door. Would definitely go back.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up ordering some food, too. This is such a cute place with great vibes! They do have live music upstairs, which I highly recommend checking out. Downstairs is a tight but cute bar with tables and I believe 4 tvs playing sports.Love the fact they have a variety of citywide specials all day! We ordered the chicken quesadilla and roasted butternut squash hummus. The hummus was out of this world and gets a 10/10!! Soooo good that my bf and I could not stop raving about it. I would recommend anyone to give this a try with the soft pita bread they offer. Honestly, we had zero complaints about this dish.The quesadilla on the other hand was just okay. Wasn't bad, but not something we plan on reordering. It was stuffed with a bit too much cheese to our liking. If you are hungry and love cheese, that's a good option for you.Everyone around us were eating burgers/sandwiches. They all looked so good and I will definitely check that out next time (and reorder the hummus if they still have it)!

I have been to Milkboy a handful of times for shows and it is a pretty fun venue for an intimate show. I have never eaten here but the drinks are always good and they have a decent selection of beers to drink on tap. The music venue is actually upstairs so it is not handicap accessible as far as I know. (please correct me if I am wrong). The venue is long and skinny. There are always good vibes. No coat check but I always just hang my coat on the hooks on the walls in the back and no one has stolen my coat. The stage is at a good level so you can see if you are further back.If I get another chance to see a show here, I will definitely be excited. Tickets are usually around $15-20. I have bought online and the venue uses Seetickets. Hopefully I will be back soon!

Rock solid happy hour and dinner spot. Good food, lots of drinks, nice energy. Love the espresso martinis and creative cocktail menu - only real downside is the $$$ you spend if you're coming for more than one drink.Would also love to come here for a concert at some point - I know they host events upstairs. 4/5 rating due to the prices, but otherwise recommend!

I love a good visit to Milkboy! I had the daily special, the Chili cheese dog and it was phenomenal! I normally go for the breakfast burrito or the fried cheddar jawns. The food was great, atmosphere is always one to be apart of and the drink selection, wow! This visit, I came with a friend who too enjoys the ambiance of Milkboy, we met two new friends at the bar, enjoyed the music AND appreciated the fact that it wasn't crowded. At times, this can be a crowded location but either way, I've had great visits. Oh! And the bartender, Jess was everything the evening of my visit. Jess's energy, engagement and overall presence at the bar this evening truly contributed to my experience! Give Milkboy a visit!

Came in for dinner at the bar. The cheesesteak (chicken, not ribeye) was great, and served BLAZING hot, which I greatly appreciated. And those McDonald's-esque salta shoestring fries worked wonders. The Pharmacist cocktail that I tried was pretty light on booze, a common thread that I'm finding more and more now when I dine out. And maybe this is a Philly (or state of PA) thing, but I was charged $10 for my neat pour of Maker's, plus $2 for it being a neat pour. I get charged extra for no ice?Otherwise enjoyed the vibe and the service was great and crazy quick.

Came here for a quick shots and beers with my friend. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. Always asking if we need anything. It's a very casual and chill bar with many selections of IPA and drinks. Everything was good. It's definitely a cool spot to hang around in the city.

alexa is the best server we have ever had and they genuinely deserve a raise or a promotion. they are so fucking awesome and helped craft the most magical fun night with my roommates ever. also, whoever was on aux and played jpeg mafia on 08/17/24 deserves a fucking raise. you guys rock. we'll be back. - kai, kara, makenna

Good variety of drinks and food. Nice vibes. They also have live music frequently! A little expensive but the quality is also always good

was racially profiled by Anna Reed and I will never go back. So women of color , please avoid this barThere's no evidence of this unsafe behavior as I've asked to see the footage several times. I've also called requesting a refund for my two tickets as they went unused and they have responded by blocking. There are also other reviews who's had the same experience with Anna Reed and additional people have came online saying the same thing about milkboy. There's a reputation of racism here
