Wednesday is fried chicken day . OMG it doesn't get any better than this . Unless you're getting your fried chicken from you awesome granny , you best get there early . I am so particular about fried chicken and I can't say enough good things about this .

If you are looking for good home cooking this is the place. This is where all the locals eat, so you know it is good. Fridays they have fried catfish and shrimp as the special. $7.92 after tax gets you the buffet including ice tea.

when ever you travel and pass by el campo, Tx, stop by and eat at this restaurant is the best in town on bbq, brisket, smoked sausage.chopped beef sandwich, buffet all you can eat every day,on Friday they have fish fry and fried shrimp ! love it!!!

Man this was a nice surprise. Went there on fried chicken Wednesday and it didn't disappoint. Food was good and tea was sweet, which should be the case with down home food such as this. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going. Seating is limited so you may have to enjoy your meal with a stranger. I'm from MS and I approve this fried chicken.

Well, hadn't had a Mikeskas chopped in a long time. I firmly believe that if food is made with love it will show in the finished product. This chopped sandwich was very unloved. It was edible but not much more. We ordered several and they were all the same- consistencies were like minced meat. Really felt like it had been week old chopped run through a blender. Very sad, sad, unloved sandwich.
