I always enjoy my visits to Mikado. I love their tasty food. These dishes always have a load of flavor and great presentation. Attention and service is always high quality just like the ingredients used in their dishes.I absolutely love their hibachi dinners and their miso soups. We have been coming to Mikado for the last 8 years and it is always a comfortable place to have a peaceful and delicious meal.

Raw sesame balls the sesame seeds were also extremely over cooked. ordered and they brought them out in less than 5 minutes didn't take the time to cook them properly.

Love Mikado! Our Japanese go to! Favorite Dishes Our go to for chicken fried rice, miso soup, salt and pepper shrimp (tempura fried shrimp with diced jalapeños and lettuce), and fresh sushi. Our favorite dish is the salt and pepper shrimp mentioned above. My son only eats chicken fried rice from here and sakekawa, but strongly prefers this fried rice from Mikado. My kids love the Japanese sodas, blueberry and peach. My daughter gets the shaggy dog no sauce sushi roll or the California roll add cream cheese. The owners are so friendly. She let me buy a giantSiracha sauce for a great price!!! Take out and Delivery You can pick up food to go in twenty minutes or less. If you want delivery, it typically takes about 30 min or 45 min but they usually say an hour. We order here often and I'm kind of sad to share these details because it may be more busy now. But happy to help the community find a great bite!

If you're in the mood for some really good sushi, this is the place to go. My husband and I were driving down 1488 and saw this restaurant in a shopping strip. We decided to stop and place an order to go. We noticed several people come in to pick up their to go orders so you can definitely call ahead to place it. We also saw several people opt to dine in. We ordered some rolls (Mikado, Bonzai & New Orleans) and an order of Gyoza. From the time we placed our order until we got it was less than 15 minutes. So even though they were very busy, we got our order pretty quickly I think. Everything was delicious! The sushi rolls not only looked amazing, they tasted amazing as well. My favorite was the Mikado roll. We can't wait to dine in next time.

We have been coming to Mikado since 2013 and I love that it is consistently good! For lunch I had the Mongolian Beef and it was so tender and delicious. And their rolls and sushi are also delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient. If you like spicy, ask for their chili oil! Definitely worth a visit. Oh and prices are very reasonable!!
