Mifflin Tavern

Went to Mifflin Tavern for the first time for my friend's birthday and I was pleasantly surprised.We ordered 4 small bites to share and drinks. Both food and drinks were so good! We ordered the cheese sticks, buffalo wings, buffalo quesadilla and garlic and parm fries.The cheese sticks and it was not your regular cheese sticks. These were were wrapped in egg roll wraps and they were crispy, gooey, thicc and delicious. Quesadilla and wings had really good good flavor. Quesadilla was crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. We had our wings ordered as well done so it was really crispy on the outside as well. There's not much to say about the fries; cooked well and well seasoned.Drinks were also really good. Had the blood orange margarita and the blueberry lemonade. My favorite was the blueberry lemonade but because I couldn't taste the alcohol -- it could make it a really dangerous game. The server we had was also very nice. He explained about the cheese sticks (about how it's not like regular mozzarella sticks), made some recommendations and was very attentive thru out the whole night.Overall, I was really delighted by everything. From price, portions, flavor and service. I would definitely be back.

Actually, a really cool place. Roomy, good food, good vibes. Was skeptical at first cause it looked tiny but there is an upstairs area too. Didn't go up to check it out, but know there is that too if the bottom is full. Ordered the brisket cheesesteak and it was delicious!

This local place is always pretty busy but I think it's only due to convenience. It's not very welcoming to new comers. Turkey burger is very dry Go over to Moonshine if you want a better turkey burger The bartenders were annoyed that they needed to wait on us. Wouldn't offer condiments for foods. Wouldn't come over to check on us. You're Better off spending your money else where.

Walking in, there was great 80s music going...they also had a jukebox there but what they were playing was enjoyable enough. Couldnt decide what to try from the menu,Decided on the breakfast burger... I hope the chicken parm sandwich is still there next time. It was a slow enough day where the cook also took our order, so got to talk a bit about the inner workings there. The only downside were the acoustics in there, when people talked loud it seemed to echo off the wood floors etc so I could imagine what it would be like on a busy night...

I had a great time here for trivia night. They have a deck area with heaters that is warm enough to sit in a sweater but not a full winter jacket. It was really fun and I felt the staff was very accommodating!

This was our first time. We've lived in the neighborhood for 6 years. We got the pierogi, Korean chicken bites, and a burger along with cocktails and beer. Everything was delicious. The bar tender was gracious and gave us great pointers on portion size and drinks. We will be back!

I am shocked that: 1) this place has so many positive reviews, and 2) that they're even still open. I have been there multiple times as it's close to my house. On multiple occasions they just decide to close on a whim: kick us all out as early as 11 pm when they advertise being open until 2 am. Other days they are just not open at all. The workers, including folks who I believe to be the owners, are unbelievably rude. They have no interest in customer service. Go elsewhere.

Excellent cocktails and food! Great place to stop for lunch! We will definitely be back.

I've been to this bar a times last year so I'm not a newcomer. But I never experienced a bartender that was so rude for no reason. I asked this lady for a drink she rolled her eyes and my friends heard her mumble "no". However this bartender then proceeded to yell at me bc I ordered a drink And moved farther down the bar bc there was no room, no seating and people coming through the front door. Mind you this is a small bar so it's not hard to see someone. Then she proceeded to talk about me to her coworker and look at me while making my drink. She obviously saw me so I don't understand what the problem was...

Ordered the brisket cheesesteak Excellent, it came w/fries that were top notch . Our waitress was friendly, attentive and professional. We will definitely be back . FYI nice selection of craft beer on tap.
