From the service/care to the food, definitely a great spot to get Chinese BBQ skewers. Loved the grilled oysters and their heavy use of garlic sauce and spice. The size was large too. The lamb chops and enormous chicken wings were juicy and perfectly seasoned. Also, got lamb, cauliflower, beef with fat, chicken gizzards, pork belly, and king oyster mushrooms (the mushrooms were thick slices and not shaved thin slices like other places) skewers. The texture and grilled doneness of all the food was just right.Accompanied all of that with nice fluffy steamed rice. On weeknights they have specials before 8 pm, and also open late too. The price was reasonable for the amount we ordered.

They opened last fall and its a great late night option for those looking to eat out before (or after) midnight. They offer lots of grilled seafood and meat skewers. The grilled seafood and meat skewers range from $1.99-19.99, so the meats are decently priced but the seafood gets pretty pricey. The best dishes are the lamb skewers and scallops (has garlic and vermicelli inside). The scallops are huge and are their number one ordered item. Other items we got were the tripe, calamari, stir fried fish maw, beef tendon, oysters, and pork belly with enoki. The service was exceptional and our waiter was the nicest and most helpful guy ever. He made our first experience here the best snd was so outgoing, and I'd come back just to see him! We left him a good tip! Can't wait to visit again!

Service was attentive and we ordered 2 rounds of food. Round 1 was a sampler of several different items. Then reordered what we liked.Pork belly, pork, beef with fat, sweet potatoes were our favorites.Flavoring was more cumin based and pretty similar across the different meats.

This is a fairly new restaurant that just opened in Chinatown, I've been here twice now and the food is great!Food: 5/5 all their skewers are delicious but IMO the real star are the seafood dishes. The stir fried spicy clam was very fresh and they're giant, one of my favorite things on the menu. If you come here with a large group they have specials on the large seafood selections, definitely give it a try!Service: 5/5 all the servers checked on us frequently and we had no issues with service. They answered all of our questions and gave recommendations on things to tryAmbiance: 5/5 there's mostly karaoke music playing in the background, it's a typical street food restaurant vibe. It can get loud, but definitely a fun place to come with large groups of friends.I can see myself being a regular here, we'll definitely be back for more!

DO NOT GET THE CRAWFISH HERE! They sell frozen crawfish and did not warn us before we ordered.I ate one crawfish and could not eat the rest because it was so rubbery and had a bad smell to it. We had ordered 3 lbs of crawfish and ended up not even touching it bc it was that bad. Also did not like the tin foil clam with noodles, dish had no flavor. We did like all the skewers and the jumbo grilled oysters. So I recommend only sticking to these items.

Okay. Okay. My doctor is going to scald me after this meal. I came to have a midnight snack at Midnight Kabob and Seafood 深夜烧烤 last night after work. But it turned out to be a feast.I was going to iEATS Rice Noodles next door but I got there late. Then, I saw this place didn't have a lot of people. So, I walked in. The employees were so friendly. That really shocked me. I couldn't believe I was out in Houston Chinatown.Normally, the kabob restaurants have a strong smoky fragrance in dining room. But this restaurant didn't. That means the ventilation in the kitchen and the air circulation in the dining area were working correctly. The ambient lighting was dim but it was enough to read the menu.Speaking of the menu, it's bilingual with prices clearly marked in white over black background. It reminds me of reading chalkboard at street vending stand. The wait staff spoke fluent English and Chinese. They were familiar with the dishes. I initially wanted something soupy because it was drizzling last night. Then, I spotted something I wanted on the midnight new item menu. So, I ordered Seafood Ramen with chicken skin skewer, duck tongue skewer and pig tongue skewer. Everything came in generous portions. There wasn't a lot of noodles in the soup. But the bowl filled up with clams, shrimps, squids etc. After eating all of these. I glanced at the menu to see what I could order next time. Grilled squid jumped out at me from the regular menu. I often see people eating that at night markets but never had a nerve to eat one. So, I ordered the grilled half squid. Price was reasonable and the flavor was incredibly delicious. (Later found out it has abundance of unsaturated fats and cholesterol. I won't be eating this alone next time. Haha.)Overall, I savor the taste all night sipping plum drink. I would definitely go back to try other dishes with my foodie friends.

This place is delicious! They have more than just kabobs and seafood too, in case you're wondering!Their menu includes a good amount of appetizers, like cucumbers, sweet potatoes fries, Taiwanese chicken nuggets etc. Their signature items are the bbq's of course, and they have 20 vegetarian choices and more than 30 fish and meat choices. My husband liked their marble beef skewers and conch, while I liked the veggies and scallops. They sent complimentary peanuts and edmame to go with our ordered appetizers. They also have crawfish, crab and traditional items like fried rice, vermicelli and ramen. We didn't order drinks this time because I wanted my bubble tea after, but they offer freshly squeezed watermelon and coconut juices. The servers are all super nice and attentive. We loved it!
