I will not deny. This spot had the best cheesesteak I've had in a while. As for me I don't like a greasy cheesesteak. The cheesesteak I got was on point. Plenty of meat and flavor. I even had to have more in the middle of the night and put it in the microwave and it was still on point. Never said that before. I will definitely have this place on my radar. Don't miss out

Great cheese steak place in Philly area. Stopped for the necessary Philly cheese steak after visiting Swarthmore College. Staff was nice, place was clean, sandwich was huge, tasty, and contained high quality meat. The combo included mushrooms, onions, and peppers. Cheese fries had a lot of cheese.Would recommend a stop if in the area. Preorder/pickup is available. A few small tables are also available to dine in. Nothing fancy, but does not need to be.

Needed a cheesesteak on my way to Philly and Yelp guided me to Michael's Sandwich Shop. The regular stream of neighborhood folks picking up orders made it clear I chose right. The steak was just right, roll fresh and chewy, perfect amount of peppers, and way more fries than I could eat.

Philly you guys gotta do better....... Not a drop of seasoning and dry over cooked steak. Fries over cooked and not a single drain of salt. After reading reviews I left airport and went there for a local food. Well we all make mistakes in life..... its was so dry that none of us finished the sandwiches and ended up throwing the rest out. Coming from Chicago I expected better..... yikes

I've been to Michael's over a dozen of times Love the crispy fries and the fine cut cheesesteak, but since I went June 19th 2024 it's changed, the is fatty and chewy switch back to your old meat please.
