The Sylvester

The Sylvester has been one of my favorite bars for a long time! I have seen their evolution getting better and better. My favorite happy hour in town! Tuesday to Saturday from open to 8 pm, cocktails for $8, wine and seltzer for $5 and wine for $6! My go-to here is Palmetto, which is the perfect blend of tequila, grapefruit, and Perrier, super refreshing! I recommend arriving early and making a reservation. After 9 pm the place gets packed. All the bartenders and waiters are so nice here! And the place is super cool! Plus on the weekends they have a DJ starting around 10 pm

Havnt been to this venue in years.. use to go 10yrs ago when it was under a different name. Met friends here for drinks and music and had a great time. There is plenty of seating. the bar is long and the bar tenders are fast and efficient as well as skilled.Thursday Night features Spinster Tracey as well as 2 other DJs. They killed it! Mostly 2000s classic RnB, HipHop, urban pop, and some afrobeats. I ended up extending my meter 2x lol.Would def recommend the Thursday nights.

Way Overpriced for what it has & Music just same Boring Miami "House Beats" that go on & on! LOL! Cute Ambiance tho... but to PAY to Park there ... How Ridiculous! They make up for it a tad by having No Cover Charge ... but, No Seating too unless u feel like Paying for Reserved. :-/Bartenders work hard, but they sure get a Crazy Auto Tip that is too High for simply crafting a drink behind a bar. Luv Orlando/Tampa Vibes MUCH More! So Happy NOT to reside in Miami! Only good for a Quick Trip for Specific Concerts or Festivals etc.

Very cool cocktail bar with great ambiance and some exceptional bartenders. I did what most bartenders probably hate and asked the guy to surprise me with a mezcal drink. The bartender was super enthusiastic and though I can't remember the name of the drink, it was absolutely delicious and was along the lines of a mezcal sour with egg white, citrus, and sage. I'm not usually one for sage, but this worked perfectly with the other ingredients in the cocktail and I was blown away. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Amazing speakeasy-esque bar. Their happy hour has good although rather boring looking drinks for $10, but their main menu has some true gems. I tried "On Miami time" and it blew me away, it had an interesting rim dust that makes it taste really unique.

The drinks here are amazing ! I've been here numerous times and I love the vibe here! The decor inside and the feel of the place is amazing. Bartenders are very quick on taking orders and are super cool. Definitely a spot I won't ever stop visiting

Cool place. Went there for a gathering. Drinking some hey hei's all night. Bartenders were on point. Good cocktails, too. Didn't get to try the food but would definitely would go back to try the place on a normal night. Lounge with sofas and leather chairs, plants and a pinball machine. Eclectic vibes.

Great drinks. Great bartenders. Cool manager. Great vibe day or night. The only downfall is that it's not within walking distance! Please open a location in the gables or grove.

I had the most fun night at sylvester! The place plays an amazing playlist mixing throwbacks, top hits and spanish music so you get a little bit of everything! The bartenders made some delicious espresso martinis and were super quick with service despite the full bar. A lot of room to dance and mingle!

Great intimate and cozy throwback cocktail lounge. Comfy chairs, dark lighting. Amazing bartenders. They have a great menu but can whip up any cocktail you can dream up! And they are gooooood. Grab a vesper or NY sour and crawl onto a sofa or sink into a chair and chill out. Or! Grab a drink you can dance with and jump onto the dance floor. Either way it will be a night where time stops and suddenly it's 2am and you've had the best Miami night ever.
