Lilly's Munchies

I met with the owner yesterday because I want to order a cake for a baby shower and of course take some goodies home. WOW she is super nice, professional and gave me some ideas. While I was there I order a cake sample box, bought an Oreo Tres leche, Dulce de leche tres leche, guava and cheese Tres leche and assorted mini cupcakes. I tried the Dulce de leche tres leche and it's to die for. Today I will taste other ones I bought. Amazing!!!!!! Looking forward to the cake sample box and the baby shower cake.

My daughter, my mom, and I loved this munchies so much. Turns out that they're not cupcakes even though they look like, they are cookie dough cakes. And we got half a dozen, guava, Caramell, Oreo, Nutella, and I forgot the rest because they were so tasty! The service of the owner was awesome and it's located in a shopping center with a great amount of parking space. Inside the place was also impeccable with a nice background music and I felt delighted just to be there, I wanted to stay longer.

Ordered a custom cake and was not at all happy with the design. The main feature of the cake was a soccer jersey in royal blue which was the main color for the party. Jersey was so long it looked like a dress and the color was aqua blue/ green which didn't match the other royal blue elements of the cake. Name on jersey was sloppy. Other decorations were cheap items I could have purchase on Shein & stuck on cake myself. She did the bare minimum. This looked like a cake someone made doing this as a part time hobby, it did not look like it came from a professional bakery and at almost $200 there is no excuse for the badly designed cake I received. Lilly said that the color can change when using dye which is understandable but if you have any pride in your work you see this & remake the jersey and correct the issue before giving it to a client. I was embarrassed to display it at the party.

I remember they put a sign up a few years ago when this place was opening n i was hype about it. Well never really tried it just followed her on ig well i needed a baby announcement cake last month in oct and i wanted it like those cakes you see on ig that say the month the baby is coming and year well i ordered one the smallest serving size they had and the flavor was rum cake I received it the look was ok the writing could be better looked sloppy and the design on one side they messed up. Well my daughter was dieing to taste it. Let me start with the cake was buttercream then cake i had to scrape so much cream my mom advised i should take a pic of the bag of cream we scraped off and said i would have not paid for this we tried it and the cake was so so dry omg you taste a hint of the rum but super dry not tasty at all. Let me say i tossed it thank god i did not get this cake for a gender reveal cause that would've been embarrassing. Ill stick to my cake lady. I think this company is only good and great for their treats never tried them but they do look good but cake i rather not.

As my 9 year old daughter said after her first bite today - we've found the best tasting sweets in Miami! We stopped here today to taste the cakes for a potential cake order. They didn't have any slices left but the owner was kind enough to cut one of the cakes on display for us to try. We also bought the cookie cups and a unicorn cake cup. The cookie cups are so decadent and delicious. OMG. Even my husband who dislikes sweets was wowed. I must go back for more. The unicorn cake had cotton candy flavored frosting and vanilla cake. My daughter enjoyed it because of the cotton candy frosting. The cake slice was marble cake with buttercream frosting and chocolate filling. It was perfect! I'll be calling them to place an order for a special occasion. This place is quite a treat to have in West Kendall!

Always delicious pavlovas and amazing service. I finally bought the ice cream and it was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it!

I've ordered countless cookie cups and birthday cakes for myself and the rest of my family for several years now and Lilly's Munchies never disappoints. Lilly's attention to detail and exceptional customer service truly sets her apart from other cake shop owners in South Florida. I've been an avid customer of hers since she started the business from her "dessert" truck. Lilly has taken years to perfect her craft and is always coming up with new treats to sell. While everything she makes is truly delicious, my favorite is her pavlova. It's always a hit at parties and my guests always ask me where I bought it from. Her shop is so cute and clean too! Highly recommend!

Yum! She made a cake for my son's birthday not only was it a beautiful tiered cake but tasted delicious! She also made the cutiest cupcakes to go with the them and also so good. Lastly, I ordered the mini pavlovas for the adults and I should have ordered more. Will definitely order again.
