The experience at "La Cocecha" is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. The atmosphere becomes spectacular with a chef who not only prepares dishes with incredible presentation and quality of flavors but also maintains a warm connection with her customers whom she calls family. Live music brought by the beautiful and talented MimiRose then adds entertainment to turn an already special meal into a dinner of happiness. Fantastic steak and fantastic service. Better than any of the ultra try hard places in brickell or on the beach. I will definitely be back.Some constructive criticisms would be that the portion of rice for a parrilla for 2 should be a bit bigger. And the Spanish potatoes side should probably mention on the menu that they are basically potato chips since I think most people would expect something else.

Our dining experience was elevated starting with the carrot soup--the presentation alone, with its artistic pouring, was captivating. I'll be posting a video alongside this review to share that moment. The highlight was undoubtedly the steak, cooked to sheer perfection, accompanied by crisp fries and fresh vegetables, making each bite a symphony of flavors. We concluded our meal with a Cuban coffee, a robust and delightful finish that sealed the deal on a perfect dining experience. Brought some big customers here on 5/25/2023.What a hidden gem of a place! It's in Medley. But the service here was impeccable Sasha was awesome along with the others that helped our table of 4. We had the queso frito, to start then 2 Medallion Lomo Tres, Entrañó, Mahi Mahi, and then 4 expressos with a Vacío to go cuz we felt so guilty leaving this guy behind to cover the office. This is a TOP Notch Restaurant with the Chef coming around to see how it all was. Lots of famous people come here by the pictures I saw on the wall. Yes it's Medley but like they say if it's EXCELLENT it doesn't matter where it is they will come. This place is exactly that! In my Top 10 restaurant for lunch in Miami Dade.

Great place. I have been around this place purchasing equipment and never stop there to eat because of time well I did. What a jewle a hidden secrete food amazing but the service the best the staff there was extremely attentive and you can tell they enjoy working there. Girl name Sasha made my day and Eli. Prices are great for the service and the quality of food will come again and again . I wish I had closer to my home plus you can smoke cigars out in the cover patio. I saw some people smoking a cigar and looked like an after lunch glamorous celebration. A guy with a hat looked like was having an amazing time. Great job all together

I must tell you the photos of the decor DO NOT do justice to the restaurant! I thought the decor was fantastic and witty! The light fixtures are actually large whisks with electric candles in them... how adorable!The wait staff was superb! Our waitress was phenomenal in every respect. She was attentive without being intrusive and quick to accommodate everyone's requests.The Executive Chef was super friendly and stopped by our table on several occasions to make sure all was well and again, her visits were fun and brief and did not feel like an intrusion on our evening.Now to the food.... WOW... We all ordered different things so we could share. APPETIZER: Porcini & Truffle Burrata is by far the best I've ever had!!!!MEATS: The 28 oz Black Angus Bone-In Ribeye that was cooked PERFECTLY! The flavor was pure Heaven!!!The Rack of Lamb, again, the best I've ever had!!!! Holy Moly!!!! Delicious, Tender, I repeat, COOKED TO PERFECTION!!!!SEAFOOD:Mahi Mahi, I cannot personally comment on the Fish as I do not seafood but everyone attacked it and there was nothing left! There was a lot of moaning at our table! . Thank goodness we were the only group in the back of the room! DESSERT:Mango Pannacotta... Heaven on a plateCaramel Filled Crepes. Wow, I don't normally eat any desserts with caramel as I find it MUCH TOO SWEET, but when I tell you this was very enjoyable! Nice balance!Tiramisu: This wax the show stopper for me!! As a baker I've stopped ordering Tiramisu in restaurants because I can make it better myself! The fact that our entire meal was out of this world made me want to try it because not only is Rosana the Executive Chef, but she also makes the desserts as well!! She did not disappoint me with her tiramisu!She is truly one talented lady!!! Although, many reviewers mentioned that this place is pretty pricey, I have to disagree. The price is on par with the quality, taste and creativity of the food served!You get amazing service, fantastic wine and a phenomenal meal! It's worth every penny in my book!I can't wait to return! Next time I will photograph some of the food. We were all so excited that we totally forgot to take photos for our review!Come try it out , your taste buds will love you for a lifetime!
