L C Roti Shop

Such a good spot for roti and doubles. The food is always amazing and made fresh! The service is great, such a welcoming place and quick to receive your food. They also sell their pepper sauce by the bottle, grab one!Only thing to keep in mind is that they only take cash. Highly recommend!

I came by for an early lunch with some open spots in the parking lot. My first time coming here they weren't open at the same time. All the employees were very nice. The goat Roti was good with some large pieces of meat. The inside has a very humble feel. Nothing flashy. I will be back for another.

Not the best doubles I've had but it'll do when you need a fix. This place is cash only

This was pleasant run in as we were about running errands in the area. We used to go to this Roti Restaurant in Orlando and I've missed the flavors so much. I loved that they make the Roti right in front of you fresh. Every person we spoke to that worked there was warm and took their time to make recommendations.The small kicker is that they only accept cash. Luckily, we had some on us but that's not the usual case. Just a heads up in case you check them out. I ate the veggie Roti and it was a hint of spicy chickpeas and the sweetness of the sweet potato. I want more and am kicking myself for not buying extra to eat later. Next time I'm coming back for their conch Roti...and their veggie one lol We will be back

Why is there a dog in the kitchen? Right next to where food is cooking. Not very sanitary. Dog looked very comfortable.

Not authentic food. Rice was wet. Best thing was curry potatoes. Do t waste your time. Service is not the best and the location is not the best.

Horrible experience.As a roti and doubles connoisseur, since I was a child, curry is my favorite flavor. I have eaten several rotis and doubles in New York (Queens, Brooklyn) and Trinidad and Tobago (Debe, Curepe, Sando, Grande, San Juan.....all over), so naturally when I was visiting South Florida on vacation which I haven't been in over a decade, I would want to pay homage to some curry (roti and doubles) and support my people in the process. Fresh from the airport and hungry as a pony express horse, we decided to visit L C Roti shop on 441 Miami gardens about two Tuesdays days ago (7-19-2023) and I can definitely say that this is the worst roti shop I have gone to. (here goes)I asked for one doubles just to get a taste of their flavor, the balding lady stated that she wasn't going to go through the trouble for one roti, being hungry my wife, brother and I decided to take the chance and order 4 doubles, 2 buss-up shut & curry goat and beef, an aloo-pie which was a greasy folded cardboard (and eventually thrown away after a hard fight with it) and one apple J and a bottled coconut water.....the balding lady went to the back and brought out a plate of luke warm possible curry beef (the portions was very very small, like 2 and 1/2 tablespoons)..all the while the same lady was just constantly yapping stupidness like we re friends and not writing down the items. There was another lady making the dhal puri.There was even a fly possible more bothering us as we eat at the counter, I brought it to the attention of the mentioned lady, she told me that we brought the flies in. Note that the counter was very dingy and was in dire need of a wiping with cleaning detergent. However, without me eating everything I ordered, it was less than tasty, and my wife, who is not a rude person (who can and have made some wickedest curry chicken or beef or goat) took home the rest that she couldn't eat, only to throw it in the garbage that same night. The "bill" which was never written down, recorded nor calculated on a machine but only in the head of the balding lady who told the dhal puri lady that it "came up to $63.00 flat", no receipt either, Too tired to debate a bill, I gave the lady $65.00 (clearly overcharged) leaving the $2.00 as a tip to the annoyance of the lady making the dhal puri, her asking if "that was all the tip", I said yes while "holding my tongue" and walked out forever.I will NEVER venture back into that so-call roti shop again, the food lacks real curry flavor and they overcharged. I would rather eat gas station cakes and drink water first. This was the worst food experience and roti shop experience I have ever had, not me again nah......

Use to be a good roti shop when LC ran it now it's not that good. Order chicken roti all I got was potatoes and what was a piece of chicken and the roti's are now so small. Stop going their years ago

Authentic Trini roti! Must try the doubles as well!! Reminds me of home. Wasn't a big fan of the pholourie but everything else, delicious!

Food was great Costumer service amazing and they are super friendly. Any time I can go there I do. I also get an order of the curry to go. It's the best
