My order remains the same - mango lassi, garlic naan, vegetable korma (with basmati rice), and vegetable samosas. Their portions are generous. Prices are a little high but definitely worth the treat. If I ever need to call about my order, staff is nice! Definitely one of my favorite places in Miami Beach!"

And the food was fresh and homely. The quantities are huge. Quick service. Has Bollywood music playing in the background giving it a Dhaba or small town restaurant feel. The naan felt doughey but other than that it's a must try if you are into budget friendly ethnic cuisines."

Sanita M. "Highly impressed with all the dishes we tried. I expected good (because of the high Yelp rating) and I was right! We ordered some of our usual favourite dishes - Saag Paneer and Butter Chicken. We chose mild spice but I would say we could definitely go medium spice next time. Each restaurant have different spice levels (sometimes we order mild and it's really spicy, so we wanted to stay on the safe side) but we barely tasted any spice. I loved that both dishes were generous, came with basmati rice and the food was not oily. Many Indian dishes are flooded with oil/butter (which is understandable, no complaints) but I prefer less oil and it was perfect. You can still have delicious dish without the extra fat. So hands down this was amazing! The naan and samosas were also really good. Samosas were pretty spicy though, just a warning. We would definitely come back again to try other dishes, probably Chana Masala and Tikka Masala. Also have to note, the owner of the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming, even though no one came to check up on us during the meal and ask if everything is okay, if something else is needed. But it's okay, no complaints."

Some of the best I've had in a long time, which is a pleasant surprise from a takeout only joint found on Uber eats. The first time we tried, the vivid flavors reminded us of food we hadn't tasted since the delicious Indian street food of our travels in Asia. We have since ordered three times in the span of a few weeks. Each time we order something different and it is all wonderful. I am especially partial to the paneer dishes. It tastes so fresh. Many other delicious eats though, including Indian dishes common and less common to American menus.Absolutely try this place out next time you want takeout. It has quickly become one of our go-tos!"

My friend and I decided to have their unlimited thali vegetarian dish. You receive a butter nan, basmati rice, a lentil soup, and two other vegetable dishes, as well as a pudding. Everything was delicious and had that homemade Indian feel and touch to it. You are allowed to get additional for no extra charge if you want to. I also tried an Indian chai tea, which was very pleasant. I would and will visit again."

Jeff G. "This new and aptly named restaurant first surprised me with their buffet, not only offering up southern Indian dishes usually not found in other buffets I've been, but also the appropriate spice levels that gives Indian food it's full magic. Can't take the heat? That's what the Raita is for. Dinner was the next surprise, and here's where you can control the magic, but take note; the magic is strong!Start with mild and work your way up. One of my friends who normally likes to take spice level to "eleven" is perfectly content with ordering medium here. I have to agree with him on that, I ordered my Kadai Lamb hot, and it was properly HOT. That's a good thing, and it shouldn't change, but I think it may be a shock to the uninitiated. The menu is extensive, even offering indo-chinese items and many veg options. Prices are reasonable and so are the portions. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean and bright, even nicer than the pictures would suggest. It's a little premature to call it "the best in Miami" just yet, but they're off to a great start."

The dessert was also very good (pictured). Unlike the other reviews, the food did not take long to come out, maybe because it was 9pm in a Saturday night. William, our waiter, was friendly and made our first time visit pleasant. The only thing we found awkward was that the waiter went next door to Tutto Pasta to get my hubby's espresso and gave him the separate bill to boot! We have no clue why, but definitely deserves an "A" for effort in my book! We will return to Ayesha."

Shane S. "I recently went to Bengal Indian Cuisine for lunch. Bengal Indian Cuisine offers up 16 vegetarian options for main entrees that are cooked to order and served with basmati rice with many of these that can be made up vegan. I opted for the lunch buffet and was delighted to find that there were five vegan options available on the buffet including veg pakoras, sabji mix, chana masala, aloo shag, tadka dal, and vegetable fried rice. Majority of the chutneys were also vegan except the raita and there was also kheer for desert that had dairy. It was nice to see vegan options on the takeout menu along with a colorful tiger. The buffet is both veg and non-veg yet the abundance of vegan options made me happy. All the food was delicious and even better than the food was the service. I had a natural affinity with the waiters Eswar and Chandra. Both were from Andhra Pradesh State in India which is quite off the beaten path where most foreigners don't travel to and spent quite a bit of time there. I enjoyed sharing Indian culture with them. They both provided warm welcoming hospitality and exceptional service. The ambience here was nice. Met some locals dining and they say they come here at least once a week along with someone traveling from Israel. Bollywood videos played on the television. Difficult to find authentic Indian food for a fair price in Miami. Ordered a family biryani for take-out which is around $30 depending on the kind you order and comes with an appetizer of the chef's choice, and a dessert of the chef's choice! Feeds 2 very hungry people but enough to feed a third and/or a child. My biryani was chicken tikka for $36.99 and came with gulab jamun for dessert. Insanely delicious and flavorful! Ordered "medium" spice level as it was my first time at this location. Next time I'll bump it up to a higher spice. Regardless of spiciness, the flavor packed a punch and was definitely authentic. Must try if you're in the FIU area! They're located on 107th and Flagler, across from FIU engineering campus."

Ariel W. "I love seeing a historic building in its glory and the Mediterranean Revival designed Great Southern Hotel overlooking ArtsPark is looking its best with a new facade of striped canopies over the arched windows. The new Block 40 Food Hall now occupies the first floor of this historic building. The Great Southern Hotel was built by the founder of Hollywood, Joseph W. Young in 1924 and the construction workers who built the city stayed here. Through the years it was a popular vacation destination before closing in 1991. It was restored and reopened in 2021. Block 40 Food Hall is Hollywood's first food hall and it is operated by Society 8 Hospitality, which also runs Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery in Fort Lauderdale, Park & Ocean, and Wild Thyme Oceanside Eatery in The Atlantic Hotel & Spa on Fort Lauderdale beach. Here you will find 10 dining stalls, a restaurant Loco Ocho, a large central bar, games like darts, and a sidewalk patio with a view of the park. Customers order food and drink by using a QR code like at Sistrunk Marketplace.Block 40 Food Hall vendors include Dalmoro's Fresh Pasta to Go, Vons Asia Kitchen, Catch Hollywood, Hangry Joe's, CHO:TU, Phastbreak Cheesesteaks, C.L.A.S.S. Burger, Donut Cream, and Hollywood Creamery. On the day I visited the whole food hall was watching the soccer match between Spain and England. Upcoming events include Biz to Biz Networking, Weekly Tap Takeover, and Live Music. I like the variety of food vendors offering different cuisine, drinks, and desserts. Downtown Hollywood needed a place like this where people can hang out and stop in for a drink or a bite to eat. This spacious and bright food hall fulfills a need in the community for a gathering place. It is great to see such an iconic Hollywood landmark filled with life again."

Ayesha Fine Dining - Midtown

Krys P. "Why would I drive all the way to Midtown for Ayesha when there is actually one closer to me? One word: Dosa. Dosa is a gigantic, thin and crispy crepe from South India. Most of the Indian restaurants here don't offer it, and a few times I found it on the menu only to get something disappointingly soggy, thick or bland... The Midtown location offers some South Indian specialties, and their dosa does not disappoint. I love every bite of it. And their garlic naan - it is the most garlicky naan I've ever tried, or, any garlic bread included. The naan is pillowy soft, and loaded with fresh minced garlic. If you love the stinky rose this one is for you. I am a bit disappointed that their menu takes the format of choice of sauce + choice of protein. As Cake Thai's mom once told me, the sauce is developed to accompany the type of meat and shouldn't be interchangeable. Imagine an Italian place offering alfredo chicken/beef/pork/salmon or a French place with beef/pork/chicken/fish/tofu bourguignon. You won't take it for an authentic place would you? That said, we did enjoy all the dishes we ordered, the service is very nice, and we had a lovely evening."

It's a spacious venue with plenty of tables and a bar.We were greeted by one of the staff members, who seemed busy. She showed us to a table and left, leading to a long wait for water and menus. The menu looked decent with some great options, but it was another long wait for her to return and take our order. We ordered mixed vegetable pakoras for appetizers, and for the main course, butter naan, paneer tikka masala, and vegetable biryani. By this time, the restaurant was almost empty, except for a couple of groups finishing their dinner. She returned after 10 minutes to inform us they didn't have biryani, so we ordered additional naan instead. Another 10-15 minutes passed before our food finally arrived. The paneer tikka masala was delicious with great flavor. The butter naan was soft when served but quickly turned hard like a brick, making it difficult to enjoy. While the food was mostly good, the service was disappointing. It was already late in the evening, and leaving guests unattended for so long was not what we expected. Better communication about any delays would have made a difference. I hope they improve their service for future customers."

Marilu F. "Indian cuisine is my absolute favorite. As such, I am always on the lookout for places serving this type of food. Recently I went to Seattle and my stomach was traumatized. I possibly ate the worst Indian food I've ever had in my life. Given that, as soon as I could, I chose to get some Indian food in South Florida stat. Now typically I have a restaurant or two that I tend to go to for Indian food, but on this particular evening, the amount of lazy I was experiencing was downright indescribable. As a result, I partook in ordering from Uber Eats.Because of the day and time, options were limited. Somehow though Namaste Indian Cuisine was open, and more so, they offered the specific dish I was craving: Gobi Manchurian, or their version of it which is the honey chili gobi. The name may have changed, but it's the same fried cauliflower I've always enjoyed. This dish is Indo-Chinese, so not a lot of restaurants carry it. I'm always grateful when one does. There's one other restaurant nearby that carries it, and well, I'd have ordered from them, but I believe they were both closed that day, and also, I really wanted chicken tikka masala, the one dish that the aforementioned restaurant messes up.All that said, I ordered enough to feed an army. Samosas, garlic naan, honey chili gobi, and chicken tikka masala specifically. This meant I had food for two days. Awesome. But how did everything taste? Was it up to par? Yes, this was a success! Samosas were stuffed to the brim and brought an accompanying tamarind sauce. Honey chili gobi was a bit unlike what I'm used to. It had more vegetables and it was more honey than chili, along with way less batter. Still, it was delicious, albeit different. The garlic naan was crisp and seasoned well, the chicken tikka masala creamy and flavorful. It actually had a kick.My one complaint? I felt the prices were high for the portions, especially for the chicken tikka masala. Not to mention that while the food was tasty, and I would definitely order from them again, I doubt I would go out of my way to dine in. I mean, I would have no qualms doing so given the quality of the food. Issue is I just have other Indian restaurants whose taste I prefer."
