El Laundry Room

We joined them on a Friday night and the ambiance was great. Good music and creative drinks, especially their peanut butter old fashioned. The staff at the bar was very nice and accommodating. We did not try the bites, only went for the cocktail. Although some people have claimed it was difficult to get in, we did not have the same experience. The person at the door was very professional. If you are in Doral and in a mood for some privacy and music, but not over the top club vibe, this is your spot. I recommend arriving early to secure a spot as the place

My partner and I came here for our first time on a date night. It was about 3 weeks ago on 9/6 on a Wednesday night. This specific speakeasy you do need a code to get in. In order to receive the code you message their Instagram and they instantly respond to you. On the reviews below there is a few negative comments on it , however I'm assuming they've gotten better at responding. When we entered all the tables and bar seats were occupied, so we waited at the sofa right at the entrance. Their was a young lady who came and greeted us instantly and asked if we'd like a cocktail. Shortly after that a table became available so the wait wasn't long (I'd say good 15mins).What I did really enjoy was the ambiance , all servers were nice and attentive and the decor was very much jungle vibes!We each tried 3 cocktails, the cocktails were all very different and creative. I'd say they were very much on the sweeter end, probably one thing I'd say I wasn't really digging . We did order a snack, the pimento olives, this dish brings sooo many olives, so the price for it wasn't too shabby. Their food menu is very limited, I mean what do we expect it's a speakeasy not a restaurant. However the overall experience was nice!

We were properly dressed as usual but we were turned away after taking a 45-minute drive to Doral. We ended up going right next door and had an amazing night thanks to the staff of Baru. This gave us an absolute disdain for "El Laundry Room"' and the low ratings are probably due to that one staff member at the door destroying the company.

El laundry room? More like money laundering room. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The horrible experience began when we were greeted by a very unprofessional bouncer that gave us a run around of a story. He began to tell us that the owner was having a private party with his friends. He told us we could wait around to be let in. We decided to wait and the bouncer decided to take a seat in the restaurant next door to eat his pizza. Within 15 minutes a group of younger underage looking girls walked up to the bouncer and were welcomed in without even being questioned or ID'd. We then waited for about 30 minutes. The group in front of us did not not get let in either. My husband then asked the guy how much longer and he then gave us another run around with the story. At this point we were annoyed and decided to leave the line. As we were leaving, our friends that were joining us decided they were going to see if the bouncer would give them the same run around. But low and behold they let her and her husband in without even being questioned. While he was checking the girl's ID, he was staring straight at my friends chest. This was not the experience we were expecting, especially since we were a group of 9 people going for my husbands birthday. To be honest they truly lost out in a lot of money that our group was going to spend. Not even high end places in brickell or downtown, have ever turned us down to go in. This place is literally in between a Dunkin' Donuts and a pizza restaurant. Do not waste your time!

Great speakeasy concept! If you don't know what "speakeasy" research it before going so you can understand the concept. This is important since it is a different experience. The drinks were good! Service was great. Place is small so seating was limited. We asked if we can sit in a corner area that was empty they said it was reserved. No one sat there the entire time we waited to get seating. The bar was full so we really didn't get to enjoy the sit down experience. It's a shame that they didn't let us sit in the reserved area that never got used. I did see people come in sit around didn't get drinks which is really sad to see people do this. Considering others want to have drinks and are standing around to really enjoy the music and drinks. Music was on point for the vibe of a speakeasy. Drink menu looked great. I hope to come back another day and try and enjoy sitting. Maybe the owners should consider cover charges or drink minimum to wean out those that just want pictures for social media. Follow the instructions and dress code. That why they have it.

Was not pleased with my experience at El Laundry Room. Very cute idea of going through the laundry door, I am a sucker for a speak easy, but this was not it. A small space, a high maintenance dress code, and a selective door man. Good to go for 20 mins especially for the selection of drinks if you happen to be a drink connoisseur. Check it out to pass by, but in my opinion, not to make a night of.

I've been to this bar twice, once earlier in the night (730p) and once now (around 930p). Bar def gets busier around 10pm, fills out and music gets very loud. It's like no lyric, vibe music, I really enjoyed it. Bartender obviously takes pride in his work, readily engages in discussion/advice. Drinks are amazing, well crafted, not super balanced because they tend to lean sweet. However, I am sure if you asked for them to make you something original, they would. I am waiting in line for the restroom now. This happened last time. One restroom (other one is locked permanently?) for a full bar. Gonna cause problems lol. 4 stars for vibe, good drinks, but a little too sweet and an always packed restroom (:

Disappointed I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting ElLaundry in Doral . I love speakeasies and was very excited to have one , somewhat locally. Unfortunately, I can attest to some of the reviews expressing the bouncer's blatant discrimination. First and foremost, the wait time was exorbitant. We patiently waited for over an hour and a half, expecting that our turn to enter would eventually come. To our disbelief, we observed individuals arriving after us being granted entry without hesitation. It became evident that the bouncer's decision-making process was influenced by something other than the order in which guests arrived.I understand that the nightlife industry can be fast-paced and demanding, but it should be important to ensure that your staff members uphold ethical standards. Once inside, it was a different experience but by then the excitement was over and my mind was made up not to return!That first picture was taken because the line reached the wall, yet most of those individuals were able to enter before we did!

Caterina was the nicest person I met in Doral. I evacuated from Fort Myers for Hurricane Milton and stayed in a hotel across the street. She creates excellent cocktails and truly makes you feel welcome at her bar. If you're in the area, have her make you her version of a painkiller or her rum based key lime pie cocktail. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The entrance is clever and the vibe is so warm. Caterina makes the place even better.

Great ambiance and good music! The DJ was playing, and the music volume was perfect. My only complaint is the fee they charge for being 'at the bar.' To me, it doesn't make sense to charge extra, and it creates some discomfort in an otherwise good ambiance. The prices are typical for Miami, but with the fee, just add $4 to your drinks. Just something to consider.
