I'm not really a night club person, but was visiting Miami for friend's bday. It's a cool club for hip hop, urban, millenial crowd. I loved how the Cameo girls came out in their leotards and fire works and sparkles. Didn't like how various bartenders charged me different prices for same drink. However, I called them out on this. Ya'll ain't slick! Also, not enough seating except for VIP, so maybe that's intentional.

You haven't experienced the party culture in Miami Beach until you visit a place like Cameo. I won a free ticket many moons ago. Radio station giveaway. All ages welcome to see Jesus Jones. Big one hit wonder with their song Right Here Right Now. Or whatever it was called. I still have photos of my daughter with the band and our autographed CD. Such nice guys. Very humble. The night of the all ages show. I packed up my daughter in my 67 Camaro at our home in Broward County. Headed for an unknown part of Miami I did my homework and we arrived on time. Back then I was concerned about the area. I hoped my car was where I parked it after the show and that it wasn't vandalized! Since we were used to Arena and Musical Theater venues I was surprised upon entrance. My daughter being her Mother's child was not shocked or at least didn't appear uncomfortable. She was there for the band, to see the show, and hear the music! I found seats up and away from the crowds. We were comfortable although I was concerned about what might be crawling around under our seats! It really was a memorable night. We had fun. The music was great. The crowd was behaved. Performance was timely so we left for home safe. My car was where I left it and in tact!! I still felt like in the darkness and after the lights came up that there was a uncleanliness about the place. Maybe it was just old and run down at the time. We nicknamed it the Rat Trap because my daughter thought that was funny!! I sure hope she remembers that fun day meeting Jesus Jones and going to the Cameo Theater. I'm glad it's still there. Everyone that loves dancing, dives and music should experience this venue in beautiful Miami Beach!

Such a great time. Definitely go through a promoter if you can. Don't buy tickets ahead of time if you can land a well connected promoter. Lots of VIP sections and the place can get packed! Great DJs.. multiple levels, hookah, celebrity guests. Only suggestion is to clean the carpets on the balcony. The floor was sticky and my heels were getting caught. Without a doubt -- a good time. Party Fabs :)

4/8/2019. Saturday are most popular days. Strictly hip hop/trap music. Ladies free before 12, place closes at 5am. Although the DJ did start to recycle the music around 2am which is odd considering the genre is packed no need to recycle. They will hold the line for looks no one could be inside but it will be packed out quickly. Inside drinks are a whooping 20 premiums and 8 dollar Coronas. Water 6.00. Expensive but it's Miami. Expected. Place smells of weed through out even though they say no weed smoking place so crowded hard to enforce I'd presume. I enjoyed it and never felt threaten. Age range 21+ two bars. I would go back and recommend if you ok with Trap/HIp Hop and plethora of weed odor.

After going to V Live we got on the party bus to come here. It was off the chain lots of people with the music was bangin! I won't knock the basics ie: the crowd, the staff etc. because it's a club and it is what it is. Despite it being crowded the bartenders were timely and on point. We managed to secure a spot to sit, lean and chill while celebrating with hundreds of party goers. After the ball dropped and we danced & partied some more we took our leave and walked up and down Ocean Drive.

I had a great time here. First let me start by saying I probably wouldn't of if I had to pay for anything. All day when you walk around there are promotors trying to sell you club packages. if you are a lady.....DONT DO IT. This guy tried selling us a package for $85, That night all we did was dress up, walk outside, and immediately a guy at the club ran to us across the street and offered us free entrance no waiting, VIP area, and Free drink....all for the price of $0.00. If you dress the part I feel like you can get in...this was a Saturday night and there was a line, but we got in right away and got to sit in VIP. Gotta mention I LOVE LOVE LOVE the music here. Any place playing Ratchet music is good in my book...lol. They had at least 4 different DJs and I loved them all. Great club experience that night.

No matter where in MIA - I'm treated like the QUEEN I am.VIP no matter what.well.. I say all of that to say - if you're looking for the best nights to club in Cameo its a Thursday or Saturday. Great hip hop / pop / rap music played by some of the best DJ's.My friends and I got a section, that ended up being the best time everrrr. We arrived around 1am (clubs don't close until about 5am in Miami) so we were right on time! One bottle of Henny and another bottle of Belvedere. and the sections sat 8 of us comfortably.. I wont name the price because you may be given different rates for different nights. If you're ever in the area, reach out to me and I can help - other than that CAMEO IS A MOVE!

It's a nightclub. It was a little discombobulated when we walked up considering all the commotion. After the bouncer checking ID, and lady taking money for cover, we entered. It was super slow at first, but that didn't last. I ordered a drink and it cost $20! Freaking $20!! DJ was definitely spinning great music. I wouldn't come back though.

This place was in connection with the other post and Shenanigans we faced. The money that we spent with the promoter at V live that is in my other post was to get to this place. Now I'm giving it three stars because ultimately the music there and the atmosphere was great. We ended up walking over there ourselves and paying 60 bucks to get in. However, a drink was $20 which is highway robbery for a location that wasn't fancy. It doesn't get crowded until about 2am. There's two stories and a patio. They play new and old school hip hop.
