"I came late Sunday as I was in the area and decided to have a little snack before heading back home.I found this place as I've been to their Pembroke location and I was craving some hummus and baba ganoush. We ordered takeout. The place is smaller than the Pembroke one but it looks nice and tidy!We ordered some hummus and baba ganoush. They come with warm, fresh pita bread. Both were delicious just like the ones in Pembroke!! Creamy, fresh, and well-seasoned!!Love it!"
"Excellent food and fantastic hospitality from the staff. Sadly, I didn't take any photos of the food and got right to eating however I can say that the lamb platter was cooked to perfection. I hope to return to enjoy more food and take some pics."

"After dropping a girlfriend off at the airport, I was looking around to have some healthy food before hitting up the spa. I have tried the places a cross the street but never noticed Elia. I parked in the street, plenty of (you supposed to - paying) spots. I walked in and was welcomed. I looked around at what they offered and only noticed the menu on a printed paper at the counter. There is no display of their food menu. In crayon there is a beverage menu but I had to assume it is for their smoothies by the names, no details given anywhere on what is exactly in the smoothies.I ordered the Elia signature wrap with grilled chicken, arugula, tomatoes and their signature feta spread. It looked beautiful in the tomato wrap. Super healthy! And a large amount of chicken in it that is perfectly seasoned. On the side there was also a delicious citrus light dressing that matched perfectly with the wrap. The only thing I missed was a water station. There was none and as soon as I had my food everyone disappeared in the kitchen. I assume they don't offer water so you would buy one of the waters, teas or sodas?....There is one table of four and then also two high top tables that provide condiments and napkins. The food was ready fast and delicious. A Greek radio station was playing American eighties hits while I was devouring my wrap."
"If you read my reviews cleanliness is my number 1 PRIORITY at an establishment.Everywhere in this restaurant spotless clean. Amazing location, great service and fantastic restaurant. It is bunch of restaurants on the block, you have options. There is Japanese, Italian, Burger joint and Mediterranean and Turkish.Very refreshing interior, have outdoor seating makes you very comfortable. I must say, its been a while didn't enjoy my dinner as much i did at Kalamata.Very accommodating.Great dishes, grilled octopus, crispy sigara borek, fresh Mediterranean salad. And then Organic Chicken kebab, and Lamb Adana Kebab. Never had a chicken kebab like this, are you kidding me?Then deserts, nice juicy watermelon and of course my almond pudding. Yummm!!! I am not a fan of lemon zest in the pudding, but this one was very light and refreshing. I must say it is a MUST to have that!!Will definitely be back!"
"This was my first visit to The Greek Joint. I turned to Yelp, of course, when the restaurant one street over was completely booked. I love Greek food, so It was worth a try! The staff was friendly and very attentive, from the first moment until the end. The food was very good, and the prices on par with other restaurants in the area, but maybe slightly higher than expected compared to other Greek restaurants. The dip Platter was a great starter, I loved the spicy fetta spread the best. The stuffed grape leaves were really good, but not what we were expecting. They were warm with a combination of rice and meat, topped with a creamy lemon sauce. My husband had the gyro, sorry he didn't let me get a pic before he tore into it. It was filled with meat, tomatoes, onion, and a healthy serving of tzatziki. His fries were thick and crispy; it also came with a small side salad. I chose 2 separate items rather than an entree. The Spanokopita was tasty with the flaky filo and plenty of spinach filling. My salad was huge, but not what I expected, as there was not your typical lettuce base, which is what I was looking for. It was good, but again, not as expected. I think more details on the menu would be helpful, especially for items that may be different from the norm. We skipped dessert as the items listed weren't typical Greek desserts, which was a bit disappointing, but we were full anyway. I would definitely return though, especially for a casual lunch."
"Is it Greek? Is it Italian? It's delicious! Great selection of Italian and Greek food topped with great food and good portions. The place can get loud and hot if it's packed. And getting a table can be tricky so make sure you make a reservation, specially if you are trying to go on busy weekends. Service was very good and the food was brought out in a timely manner. The lentil soup was delicious and the Quattro formaggi gnocchi was exactly as I remember from Il Villagio which apparently has become part of this restaurant. Pricey but worth it!"
"It has taken me too long to visit this restaurant and I'll be sure to not wait too long to return. Love the ambience, service was stellar and the food was excellent. My cocktail was delicious - similar to a Hugo Spritz. The grilled octopus was delicious and tender, the roasted eggplant was good but the star was the green salad. That is not a joke...the dressing was well balanced with the sage and citrus, and the greens were so fresh. The skirt steak with fries was a winner as were the lamb chops. To note - it's not really a cucumber salad that accompanies the lamb chops...it's an assortment of herbs with some long slices of cucumber and a few tomatoes. It is good but more of a large garnish than a salad. We were too full for dessert but will definitely be back again!"
"This spot may become my new go-to lunch spot. I discovered Nuda Pura via Instagram recently and decided to give it a try - this Greek restaurant is like no other! From Leto friendly, gluten free, and vegan forward options, to authentic Greek/Mediterranean eats, Nude Pura truly keeps authentic rich flavors while keeping it healthy! We tried out a few things which instantly became my favorites: - homemade freshly baked pies - chicken gyro - fries topped with feta - Greek salad Everything was perfectly made and is served in big portions. The food is filled with flavor, fresh and delish. My favorite was the pie because it was just so different from any I've ever tried! (Currently craving it!) Aside from the food, the service and ambiance is so welcoming - with nice floral decorations all over the store and smiles on literally all the servers faces, this place felt like home. My favorite part of all -- their are still so many other things I can't wait to try on their menu and will have to go back soon!"
"What a fun spot! We loved getting out of Miami Beach and over to the mainland for this spot! So freaking cool. How many restaurants can you go to and literally watch yachts sail by with upbeat music and the occasional yacht that actually docks so the passengers can become guests of the restaurant???Service is remarkable. Our waiter never missed a beat. I mean how could he when the DJ is keeping all the beats going? Honestly, this might have been the most Miami restaurant we ate at. I would 100% make this a necessary stop for anyone visiting especially if it's their first time! The vibe is unbeatable. Trust me."
"Good food - slow service. For the second time we out to dinner with about 10 others. We all ordered cocktails and dinner. Drinks were good and strong but the food came out in a slow crawl. I was taking pictures through the dinner and there were nothing but smiles before and after our drinks arrived. After another 30 minutes slowly a plate would show up and the rest of us would pout. Most annoying dinner moment has to be seeing a plate cross by you to land in front of someone else. Every bite was delicious and cooked to perfection. No one had anything bad about to say about the food. Worth the wait? Don't know if we could justify the wait. Those that chose to have appetizers had either oysters or soup .... I ordered the Spanakopita and it appeared when at least 2 others were served their entrees. But it was delicious. No clue what was going on in the kitchen that was cause the large wait. Restaurant looked less than half filled. The quality of the food keeps this place worth visiting again, (lamb or grouper is always a great choice) but hopefully the service moves faster."
"We stopped into The Greek Joint when they first opened last April 2023. I remember driving by this location by accident, as I frequent Target next door. I've heard people talk about the original Greet Joint location in Hollywood but we have never been. We're always looking for delicious Greek or Mediterranean restaurants as we went to in Santorini for our honeymoon and the food is UNREAL!!!This place is very nice and I dig the simple and modern decor of the space. The patio dining area is very spacious. For the interior dining area, they have booths and tables. The bar is located in the back by the kitchen and bathroom. The food is delicious and authentic. The cocktails are flowing. We've had several different items on a few visits here. We've tried the following:* Four Dip Platter* Greek Salad* Chicken Souvlaki Sticks* Moussaka* Grilled Octopus* Stuffed Grape Leaves* Shrimp Santorini* Grilled Lamb Chops* Grilled Whole BranzinoMy favorite dishes are definitely the Four Dip Platter, Greek Salad, Grilled Lamb Chops and Grilled Whole Branzino. Everything was quite tasty. The Grilled Lamb Chops and Grilled Whole Branzino were cooked to perfection and had such great flavor all in all. The Grilled Octopus was great the first time around. The second time we had the octopus, it was just ok. I think it was the texture second time around that was meh.I remember the Chicken Souvlaki Sticks were a bit dry and the kids didn't even finish the dish. Moussaka was ok but it didn't blow my mind. The Stuffed Grape Leaves were too mushy for my liking. The Santorini Shrimp was delicious huge pieces of shrimp but the sauce was lacking.Overall, we really enjoyed The Greek Joint and it's nice and local. The vibe and service here is wonderful. The last time we were here, Bianca was our server and she was wonderful. Always smiling and accommodating. Very friendly. We'll be back to try other menu items. Mediterranean food is the best! Go check out The Greek Joint for yourself."

A giant fatty gyro and delicious crispy fries. Just stopped in for a quick Medi fix and realized not only was it awesome but the young lady who served was also very polite and attentive as well. Really can't go wrong here, great food, reasonable price + gratuity not included which I love. I was more then happy to tip above 20% when I'm not automatically obligated. Highly recommended!

I don't know why it took me so long to try this place but I'm so glad I came! My friend told me it was amazing so I had to see for myself. The spanakopita was so delicious and lemony. The hummus wasn't bad just not my favorite but the labneh was . I had lamb kebab and my boyfriend had the traditional beef kebab. He's not a fan of lamb but he said my entree was better (so that says a lot about how good the lamb is). Only thing that didn't catch our attention was the dessert but everything else was fantastic.

I had been to the Peruvian restaurant that was housed in this location several times, and as Med food is one of my favorite cuisines, I was very interested in checking Elia out. Yesterday, I got my chance! The interior has been massively upgraded from the former tenant. It is clean and airy! They have a few tables and a counter where you can order. The counter has a small bakery case with tempting treats, and they also make smoothies there. We were greeted and chatted with the guy about his recommendations. We went with the lamb gyro (Larry) and the veggie wrap (moi). While waiting for the food, I checked out the assortment of products for sale. They have Greek coffees and teas, infused olive oils, floral waters and jams and jellies. Really interesting items; I had to look up "bergamot" on my phone (it's a type of orange - I love it when I learn something new!). The food was ready fairly quickly and we devoured it! I was especially impressed with my wrap. The wrap construction was absolutely perfect! Given that Pythagoras was both Greek and a contributor to geometry, the wrap superiority made me feel like I was eating authentically Greek! Seriously, the wrap stayed together until I had consumed it in its entirety. I can't stand it when the wrap falls apart and deposits its contents on my already stained and dirty clothing. As we were paying (two enormous sandwiches plus tax and tip = $23), we asked the guy behind the counter about the set up. When it was the Peruvian restaurant, there was a teeny kitchen and most of the space was set up for dining. Now, the kitchen takes up about 2/3 of the space. He mentioned that they did a brisk business in both catering and meal service. Good to know if you want a steady flow of healthful Greek meals delivered to your door!In addition to the small lot behind the restaurant, there is ample street parking for $3 / hour on 36th Street. In all, Elia ticked all of the boxes for me - a pleasant setting with great, reasonably priced food; fast, friendly service and available parking! A+

AMAZING! What a surprise and hidden gem in South Beach. The food here is amazing, as well as the staff. It's also very clean and adorable inside. We started out with an appetizer which included Shakashuka, Tabouleh, Babaganush, tzatziki, and hummus. It was bomb! I want more some right now! My chicken sandwich was also phenomenal and the grilled chicken salad my friend got was fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to locals and tourists alike!

My husband and I have consistently been visiting for a while. As Hollywood becomes more populated so has this restaurant. Our secret spot is no more a secret *sniff* but we'll deserved. You will probably drive around three or four times before getting a prime parking spot. Getting seated isn't an issue but the restaurant fits large groups to couples. We initially got overlooked for about 15 minutes. We brought this to a waitresses attention and and she immediately tended to us. The food was good, has the lamb shank which was nicely cooked with s delicious mixed of vegetables. The humus was great too and had a unique but homemade flair about it. The hubby had the grilled lamb chops and they were delicious, perfect seasoning and sear! It's perfect for a romantic evening or larger intimate group of friends/family. Go ahead and do it in 2023! Be safe! Live & Love!

Steven was our friendly, kind and helpful waiter. My teenage son and l ordered the fried calamari and zucchini, the linguini with clams in tomato sauce, the linguini with mixed seafood in a white wine sauce and a delicious serving of apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream. It was all delicious as was the nice assortment of bread and dipping oil.

What a great experience. The location is fantastic. We were sat promptly outside and given a complimentary glass of champagne as I had mentioned on the reservation that we were celebrating The service was amazing and the food suggested by our server was right on. The green salad was huge and vibrant. The Bronzino was ber tasty. The lamb chops were delicious. Loved the ambience. Definitely one of the best meals I've had in a while.

"This restaurant accommodated our large group of 20 and I must say that I was impressed with EVERYTHING they sent over. Service was wonderful and the patio was classy and breezy. The tables were set up and ready for us as soon as we got there, and food came out right after we ordered drinks.Cocktails/mocktails: Our group had a bunch of both, and they were all very good. I'm partial to mezcal drinks, so I really liked their options on that. The mocktail group really liked the lychee mocktail, though some found it too sweet. Hummus/dips sampler platter: All of the hummus was good--my favorite was surprisingly the beet (I don't actually think this was hummus). It was lightly sweet and beet-fragrant, and I honestly ate it on its own because it was so good. Pita was also toasty and made just right. Ground meat kabobs: I didn't want to butcher the name, so I just left it with the description. They were like little meatballs, which were a bit dense. I actually wish they were slightly bigger in the hopes that it wouldn't be as firm after being cooked, but flavor was great.Chicken kabobs: This is chicken breast meat, and it was incredibly tender and juicy. Usually I avoid this dish as most places make it dry and not very good, but Komma made it perfectly--we had around 4 giant dishes of this and it was done well every time.Grilled vegetables: You can't go wrong with grilled vegetables, assuming it was cooked through. This was, and it actually paired well with our leftover dips/hummus. Dessert platter: The lava cake was a giant favorite, as well as the baklava. To be fair, the baked rice pudding was also good, but I thought it was a bit plain. I generally prefer middle eastern baklava and Indian kheer though, so it's definitely just a preference thing. My fiance was wildly into their other dessert, which was some sort of custard wrapped in phyllo. Basically, everyone liked at least one or more of all the desserts. Go with what your taste buds usually like and you won't be disappointed. Our giant group waddled out the restaurant satiated and incredibly happy. I highly recommend coming here for large events/parties, or just for a romantic date night."
"Came here for a friend's surprise birthday and oh boy was he reeeeally surprised!!The table started off with seating 12 people but last minute the party grew to 16. They were very accommodating and patient with the shifting of seats. Staff is super friendly and professional, and although it seems like a small restaurant, it feels bigger and open due to the white walls, murals and portraits of Greece, and big windows. For an establishment that has been around for 50 years, it still looks very enchanting and feels like you're actually in Greece for a moment! The host ordered an array of appetizers, so I got to try the traditional Greek salad, the fried cheese, grilled chicken, pita with hummus, tzatziki, and I want to say the third dip was babaganoush but I could be wrong and think it tastes similar. Afterwards, we were free to order more food so my husband and I shared the lamb skewers (hidden in the sides section of the menu) and Greek sausage. Both were heavenly delicious and packed with flavor! The lamb by itself was already juicy and flavorful, but the owner recommended to have it with tzatziki sauce and it was the cherry on top! This experience was delicious and authentic, we'd definitely come again!"
"My friends and I came today for their Miami Spice lunch. It did not disappoint. The staff were lovely, friendly and Turkish to boot. I used to have an apartment in Turkey many years ago and reminisced of my time travelling through Turkey. It reminded me of that culture.Inside the restaurant we had a wonderful round wooden table set up for our party. We were made to feel special. We were not rushed in anyway. We were told that as we were a party of five, we should try ALL on the Miami spice menu to get a good all round experience and would be able to savour everything. So, we agreed. It was a wonderful feast of homely food that hit the spot. I loved the decor inside the restaurant and appreciated the historical element of the old Pump House. Being English I miss cultural history. The decor inside was gorgeous. The gardens outside were pretty and I would imagine they are magical at nighttime. The service as sweet, friendly and personable. The food did not disappoint. I recommend. Being an artist, I believe photos speak for themselves, so enjoy my pictures!"
"At the risk of sounding like Gordon Gecko or Milton Friedman, Supply and Demand baby...Sultan has been open on Collins Avenue since I might have needed an enhanced ID to enjoy nightlife. This is a cozy spot with a few inside and outside tables next to one of the classic clubs on the beach. If not 24 hour, they are open pretty late. So yes, they're going to be pricey.Though not in a clubbing day, I stopped Friday night after cocktails nearby, needing some sustenance, and enjoyed their chicken kabob platter with fries and hummus. The chicken was pretty juicy and the fries crispy. My hummus could have been a little richer and / or seasoned like my usual Mediterranean spot but no biggie. Make sure to save space for their baklava in I believe a honey sauce. It's slightly flaky and with a good balanced sweetness. Perfect to complete your recovery dinner!"
"Mr. Mandolin, where flavor meets fun! I had the chicken kabob, my friend went for the chicken shawarma, and we were both on cloud nine. The Greek salad with that feta? OMG, a 10/10 flavor explosion! But wait, the Tzatziki sauce - it's my favorite part of it all! And oh, that greek orange blossom cake, it's basically dessert heaven on a plate. The ambiance is just as appetizing as the food - cozy and inviting. Service? Top-notch! Mr. Mandolin, you've got it all, from authentic and delicious Greek street food elevated with a sweet twist to fantastic staff and ambiance. If you're in the mood for a delicious adventure, don't think twice, just go here! Your taste buds will thank you!"
"Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. Amazing food. Perfect outdoor Miami vibe that really does transport you into the Aegean Sea! We loved all the blue decor with natural woods and fibers throughout the space. Oh, did I mention most of the restaurant is open air so you'll truly feel transported to another locale. If there is one dish you cannot skip it's the grilled halloumi. I don't care if you're vegan. Not today. You're going to set your morals aside so that you can enjoy the food of the gods."
"So good! Best gyro in Miami!! everything tastes fresh and high quality. The tzatziki sauce is superb! We always get an extra side to dip the fries in. Love that they make a classic Greek salad (without the lettuce). Friendly staff, food came out pretty fast. My favorite food truck in the Kendall area."
"Miami Spice 2022: The crispy octopus appetizer at Atlantikos is one of the best octopus dishes I've ever had! I would return for this dish alone. For my main dish, I ordered the cauliflower entree and was a bit disappointed with the size. It is a cauliflower dish, not too expensive, so why was it smaller than the branzino or the lamb burger? It was tasty but nothing out of this world. My friend really enjoyed his branzino so I would return to try that one next time. For dessert we ordered the lemon olive oil cake and it was delicious, although a bit dry. Was very tasty when mixed in with the dollops of cream garnished on the dish.Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal and I would return to try more of the menu."
"Hey Guys Hey!What more can I say??? I'm in absolute love with this cute little Mediterranean spot. Omg, the Greek salad was an absolute hit. Just the right amount of onions (I'm salivating as I write this) olives, feta cheese, and peppers. The shrimp were a nice size and grilled to perfection. I will absolutely recommend this place and I might even go back once a week. As a treat to myself lol I have nothing bad to say. It's cute, clean and in my favorite side of Miami....One last thing that I felt was a little off putting....I received a 15% coupon from Yelp once I checked in. The instructions said to alert an employee to redeem, which I did and was told by the waiter that I couldn't use it. That sucked but other than that, a wonderful experience"
"Cute greek coffee shop in Coconut Grove! I like that they are versatile, you can go for a quick coffee break or a happy hour wine break. Follow their instagram as some days they have live music. They have bistro style outdoor seating, and great drinks & snacks."
"Loved this place. Ambience was beautiful. Decor was beautiful. Indoor and outdoor seating. We went on a Saturday night and our party of 12 was seated immediately and accommodated nicely. Great music and at 9pm they had entertainment. A belly dancer and dj. Appetizers were delicious and came out quickly. The zucchini chips were great! The Taziki and guacamole apps were great. The watermelon feta was ok. The Greek salad was very authentic and delicious! Everyone had a great meal. The branzino was so good. The lamb chops were amazing and seasoned very well. The chicken kabobs were amazing and came on a bed of rice and green beans. Was a great entree. The lamb shank was good and the filet was good too. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my kids and they loved them. Great please in sunny isles. Can't wait to go back."
"The food is good, the ambiance beautiful, but the service leaves a bit to be desired. Our server was very grouchy and kept trying to push us toward more expensive items, more expensive wine and even switched an app to a much more expensive entree. I called the manager the day after when I took a closer look at the bill and she was able to adjust for the sneaky upcharges. Took forever to get our wine. The food was delicious, everything from the zucchini and eggplant chips to the fish, but the prices are a bit outrageous. You're paying for the location after all. I did not like the baklava for dessert, it was tough as a rock (not soft and flaky like it should be) and did not taste like any baklava I've ever had. All in all, we probably would have had a much nicer experience here if it hadn't been for our unpleasant waiter. It was three of us (elegantly dressed middle aged ladies celebrating our friend's 50th birthday) and he single handedly ruined the mood and the evening for us. What a shame."
"First of all...their menu is literally a passport of destinations around the world with alternative realities like sushi, burgers, gyros, pizza, and nachos all under one roof. Yeah, I know...prefer magical, huh? I decided to come check out the spot for myself and was just so impressed with not only their versatility but also the range of skill they demonstrate in all their meals. Since they operate as a cloud kitchen, all of these options immediately become available from the comfort of your own phone at late night hours making it even more necessary. The interior is small but perfectly arranged with a green leafy facade overlaying the wall leading into the kitchen emphasizing a plentitude of ambience in a slim layout amongst a corner shopping strip located on 135th and Biscayne. The most impressive approach to their operation is the range of foods offered within a short window that's prepared by order offering such a wide range of availability during late night hours in a central location. Not many spots in Miami can uphold of their qualities. It's comforting, convenient, affordable, and most importantly deliciously fresh and intriguing. Go check them out!FYI I ordered something from each menu and pretended I was traveling so yeah..."
"Cool, sexy day club vibe on the beach with some of the best food in Miami Beach, and their 'business lunch' is like Miami Spice all year round but better because the sheer amount of excellent Greek will leave you full and happy. Terrific for people watching too, beach beauties and cuties everywhere. Start with the homemade dolmades - grape leaves stuffed with ground beef sauteed with herbs on a bed of citric reduction. Your companion should get the Flaming Cheese Saganaki because regardless of what Saganaki means, anything with Flaming Cheese is meant to be eaten off someone else's plate, especially when you order dolmades, which is Greek for 'corruption'. Ask for a side of tzatziki, obviously. By now you are no longer hungry, which means every next bite will be for the sheer joy of eating, rather than the biological urge to survive. With this in mind, order with keftedes. Lamb is delicious when done right, and what better way than meatballs in tomato sauce and feta? Now that you've eaten enough for lunch and dinner, it's time for the Greek yogurt drizzled with honey and topped with fruit. It's as savory as it is simple, and a perfect way to cap off an excellent meal at the best Greek restaurant on the beach."
"While heading to the convention, I stumbled upon a charming little shop that beckoned me in for breakfast. The highlight? The best simit I've had in the country--warm, golden, and perfect.I couldn't resist returning for dinner, sitting outside under the evening sky. Our friendly server recommended the Turkish lahmacun, and we ordered soup, salad, and that delicious flatbread. Every bite was spot-on, with impeccable service to match. We ended the meal with a kunefe, a sweet, savory treat that wrapped up a delightful Turkish dining experience in this cozy spot."
"Food is solid but pricey !! To be fair you are on the beach under an umbrella and looking at the ocean!Service is good and these servers hustle all day!Ambiance is pretty good for a public beach as they manage all the chairs for you via the ritz or you can rent yourselfNice way to spend a day at the beach"
"Maria's is the definition of excellence as my favorite Greek restaurant in Miami. If you don't know about Maria's, then you have come to the right place to read about it. Everything is delicious. Had not been in a while, but food was as perfect as I remember. Shish Kabob - A+Branzino (fillet) - A++Grilled Octopus - A+++For sides we shared greek salad and roasted potatoes which was plenty. Gorgeous salad with a perfectly balanced dressing to feta ratio. PS: Don't forget to have a Mythos. It is tradition!Service is and has always been amazing. Everyone kind, friendly, and polite. Thank you all!!"
"I order from here via Uber Eats whenever I am craving something a bit more healthy and meatless. I usually get the mixed appetizer. It has so many good, yummy items in it: hummus, babaghanoush, tabouli, sauced eggplant, stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and a lot of pita bread. Recently I tried their lentil soup. It was a pureed soup, not chunky, which surprised me, but the flavors were so good! The prices via Uber Eats aren't too bad either."
