"I have wanted to try this spot out for 12 years and now I finally have been. I LOVED IT. I loved the quirky fun interior. The service was top notch. The menu was vast. The food was typical of a diner and did not disappoint at all. We tried a blue cheese burger - fab, a breakfast - fab, an oreo milkshake - fab and a fried chicken sandwich also fab. Also to be noted this is ANOTHER historical spot, for Miami! The car is art deco style."

Visit Restaurant Page"UPDATED REVIEW 9/12/21After not coming to this hidden gem for quite some time now, the family owned business still gives amazing service and quality food without a doubt! Still one of my favorite Mexican restaurant here in Miami. My partner and I ordered the Enchiladas de Pollo en Salsa Verde, there famous Horchata Mexican drink, a tamarindo Jarrito, and chips & salsa (complimentary) with guacamole (extra). Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. In the middle of Kendall and there take out is the same amount of food and quality as indoor dining."
"My new favorite sushi place. Quality food. Classic and unique flavors. Quick service with the conveyor belt constantly bringing you your next plate. Super chill and fun vibe & staff. The manager Dayna was very attentive and helped with additional requests. My favorites were:Torched salmon rollLittle Lucy towerEel & cucumber"
"Running from a life threatening hurricane. Have done it before, but not quite this " catastrophic " as the media keeps referring to it. Luckily got a room in Doral and went for lunch as we discussed the night and landfall. We used to keep an apartment in the area ( Coral Gables) and always enjoyed Tap 42 . After we ordered our favorites from the lovely Erica who had great taste and favorites like we did, she left to get our order. We then got a devastating phone call that I don't need to go into. Sabrina the manager came over and was as compassionate as anyone I have ever met. ( I am a nurse of a jillion years , lol ) She was a treasure although I didn't do very well expressing that in my hysteria. I just want to say that these two ladies are without a doubt the nicest I have met in this state. Tap 42 is known for its delicious food. Today, with my house on the line and my life from a devastating illness as well, they made the difference. Thanks ladies, it will not be forgotten. I shall return!"
"This was my first visit to The Greek Joint. I turned to Yelp, of course, when the restaurant one street over was completely booked. I love Greek food, so It was worth a try! The staff was friendly and very attentive, from the first moment until the end. The food was very good, and the prices on par with other restaurants in the area, but maybe slightly higher than expected compared to other Greek restaurants. The dip Platter was a great starter, I loved the spicy fetta spread the best. The stuffed grape leaves were really good, but not what we were expecting. They were warm with a combination of rice and meat, topped with a creamy lemon sauce. My husband had the gyro, sorry he didn't let me get a pic before he tore into it. It was filled with meat, tomatoes, onion, and a healthy serving of tzatziki. His fries were thick and crispy; it also came with a small side salad. I chose 2 separate items rather than an entree. The Spanokopita was tasty with the flaky filo and plenty of spinach filling. My salad was huge, but not what I expected, as there was not your typical lettuce base, which is what I was looking for. It was good, but again, not as expected. I think more details on the menu would be helpful, especially for items that may be different from the norm. We skipped dessert as the items listed weren't typical Greek desserts, which was a bit disappointing, but we were full anyway. I would definitely return though, especially for a casual lunch."
"I'm happy to post this updated review of Batch, and give this place the 4 stars I feel it now deserves; It seems this "gastropub" may finally have their collective "stuff" together once again. That's great to see, as we used to come here somewhat often until about 5 years ago when it appeared to go downhill. We tried returning here a few times last year on weekend evenings, but everything always seemed very inconsistent - sometimes it was packed and other times it was completely empty; they seemed to have random events and theme nights, and their kitchen sometimes closed early. Fast forward to more recently, and this place seems to be much better managed than it had been over the past few years. The kitchen is now consistently open until late, and as a bonus they offer the full menu until close, where in the past they'd always switch to a somewhat limited "late night" menu after a certain time. The bartenders once again seem to know their craft and are outgoing and offer samples if customers don't know exactly what they want, or if the bartender thinks he might have something they'd like. We do miss some of the former food offerings like the margarita pizza which was always good with a unique flavor, and the spicy glazed chicken wings, but the current menu has plenty of variety and we've been happy with everything we've tried here recently. So glad Batch seems to be in a better place now in many respects vs. our previous few (sometimes only attempted) visits - Let's hope they're able to keep it up!"
"Azteca is a lively, touristy spot just a block away from Ocean Drive. It's got a cool setup, with outdoor seating you can walk up to right from the sidewalk. The inside is also expansive, with live music in the dining area some evenings.Drinks were okay, nothing too impressive. We had a sangria that tasted pretty sugary, nothing especially complex. And they certainly play to their location, so expect to pay a bit more (tourist tax!).But it's not a bad option for the location and environment, if you're looking for something in this part of South Beach that isn't catering to college students."
"Piola is our go to for lunch pizza. Easy ordering in the getsauce app from thier website (save yourself the fees from the other apps). The crust is superb! The right sort of char and bend combination. And the toppings are good quality. Mushrooms, truffle, shredded chicken, fresh veggies and choices of cheeses. The things other menus have but kind of fail at."
"Review #1,500!! And I couldn't think of a more deserving spot than La Mulata! La Mulata is a local, traditional, family owned Cuban spot sitting at the corner of Española Way and Washington Avenue in South Beach. On our first night in Miami, we of course were scoping out Latin/Cuban spots that were within walking distance of our hotel, and La Mulata popped up and became the spot! Yelp certainly did not steer us wrong with this one. La Mulata is a small spot, possibly more seating outdoors than indoors! They have a small bar you can belly up to in addition to a few two and four tops inside. Outside, the sidewalks are set with the same variety of tables but are covered and spaced out with fans to keep those who are brave enough to eat outdoors cool. We opted for an indoor table by the window, so we got the essence of outdoors with the comfort of indoors. To keep in theme, La Mulata has an old Havana style in decor from floor to ceiling. Lots of vibrant colors, artwork and even a clothes line draped with clothes draped from window to window above the tables. To start our experience we tossed an order in for chicken empanadas and a round of mango mojitos. Both were phenomenal, especially the mojito! For dinner we went super traditional with a Cuban sandwich on one side and the ropa vieja on the other. Both dishes were expertly prepared, hot, fresh and delivered to the table within just a few moment. To make a long story short, it was delicious!!As if the food wasn't good enough, the service we received from entry to exit was next level! Lany, our server was beyond friendly and an absolutely pleasure! She was kind, funny, and easily the best waitress we had while in Miami! Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at La Mulata. It certainly made the recommendation list, along with the "must return" list!"
"Ordered Pescado a lo Macho via DoorDash and the portion was generous - enough for two and maybe 3 people. The sauce was a bit too salty for my taste so I removed most of it. I enjoyed the shrimp, calamari and mussels as well and the flaky fish. This plate is much better than other Peruvian restaurants. I appreciate that the food came piping hot too."
"The bar has its own unique vibe, and the food matches it. There are live entertainment acts that go along with the vibes and a DJ set. Cheers to them."

The 11th Street Diner has been a South Beach landmark for 30 years. The diner is shaped like a classic car. This is the place to go for all American favorites such as thick juicy hamburgers, seafood, eggs, pasta, fries, a variety of delicious milk shakes and breakfast being served all day.The service was awesome. That's a winning combo in our book! We literally dined here the majority of our stay in Miami. Every single item that we ordered was delicious. If I could recommend anything it would be the sweet potato waffle fries. They are to die for!

I'm reviewing La Cazuelas, but please note this place is a Mexican/Italian restaurant and both options are delicious! The service here is always friendly, but if you don't speak Spanish, there might be a little language barrier. Food wise, everything here is great. From the quesadillas, to the steak burritos, to the menudo (so good!) this place definitely delivers. I know menudo isn't for everyone, but they make it so good here. I highly recommend it.

Finally got the time to come visit this Kaiten style sushi joint I had added to my never ending list. We don't have a lot of these around and the other one I know of, even though it'd be considered the OG, I'm not a fan of. This place is spotless in cleanliness and that's a bonus for me. Relatively new to the area I'd consider this a hidden gem for sure. This is kinda like the conveyor belt Kaiten style except is powered by a water stream that's pushing the boats around and it's also super relaxing to watch. I had several plates stack up after trying a few dishes, like the tuna tartare, rainbow roll, shrimp tartare, torched salmon nigiri and crunchy crab salad all washed down with a nice cold Kirin beer; then end with chocolate coconut mochi ice cream. The owner/manager was on site and took the time to explain how the system worked and a few of the dishes as well, so service is A1. He was very attentive and helpful at all times. Food was fresh, delicious and not overpriced like some people are complaining about. One beer, five dishes and a dessert for under $60 with 20% gratuity is not breaking the bank for a good meal in Miami considering you end up spending over $100 every time for similar places. Obviously, this is not an Omakase fine dining experience but it's priced adequately for its portions and quality. I've been to that other joint at the Beach and it's about the same in quality but old and kinda dirty. Yes this joint is newer but cleanliness has to do with the people who run the place and how they care to project themselves. Anyways, only minor issue I see with location, even though I didn't have any problems, would be the parking situation. I can see how finding parking in that small shopping center could turn into a inconvenience for people on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Other than that, this is a joint I'd come to when the sushi cravings kick in and I don't want to spend a fortune.

I popped in for a quick lunch at Tap 42 and found parking a bit confusing since there was no designated restaurant parking and a fee to park. With limited time and less than 30 minutes to grab food, this was a bit frustrating. Seated at the bar, I observed the bartender juggling multiple roles, including serving and clearing tables, all while being polite. I ordered the tuna tartare, which lived up to the standards of other Tap 42 locations. Despite the initial inconvenience, I left content and considering a return visit. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those in a rush or looking for a quick bite.

My husband and I have consistently been visiting for a while. As Hollywood becomes more populated so has this restaurant. Our secret spot is no more a secret *sniff* but we'll deserved. You will probably drive around three or four times before getting a prime parking spot. Getting seated isn't an issue but the restaurant fits large groups to couples. We initially got overlooked for about 15 minutes. We brought this to a waitresses attention and and she immediately tended to us. The food was good, has the lamb shank which was nicely cooked with s delicious mixed of vegetables. The humus was great too and had a unique but homemade flair about it. The hubby had the grilled lamb chops and they were delicious, perfect seasoning and sear! It's perfect for a romantic evening or larger intimate group of friends/family. Go ahead and do it in 2023! Be safe! Live & Love!

Ambiance alone is worth the dining experience, luckily the food and margaritas were excellent too. The loud decor draws you in, the sound of laughter and music and a vast menu makes you stay a little too long, good thing Azteca is open 24/7.After a lot of back and forth, questions asked answered, we decided on appetizers and entrees mixed with watermelon margaritas. The veggie salad was delicious, I know it's just a salad, but charred corn, pumpkin seeds and hearts of palm just brought it altogether. Next up, a huge veggie burrito with rice, not sure how my husband finished it but he did...packed full of roasted veggies was very filling. Clearly, I love to eat, so I ordered the lobster enchiladas with a tomatillo sauce, black beans, rice and plantains. Let's just say if plantains are on the menu I will sacrifice my meal to finish them. The lobster was perfectly seasoned and the plantains were charred, sweet and well perfect.Service was great, the music was fantastic, the wallpaper and murals were loud, it was an amazing combination.
Visit Restaurant Page"This was a delightful visit. The outdoor seating is beautiful and the live jazz band on Wednesday evenings was definitely a fun addition to the ambiance. Reservations is a must. Food was very tasty! Vito's Stratciatella was so fresh and delicious! The service was friendly and attentive. Street parking is accessible. Will definitely visit again when in Miami!"
"Such a pretty rooftop restaurant in a cool artsy area. We came here with a big bachelorette party and loved the ambiance, food, and service. It was kind of fun to have a photographer come around and take pictures of us (that they then tried to sell to us afterwards) too. We started with some bottles of white and saganaki cheese, ahi tuna, ceviche for appetizers. Everything was delicious! For our entrees we shared the lobster pasta, grilled salmon, burrata salad, short rib, and another salad on the menu. Everything was divine- my favorite was the lobster pasta. Portions were huge too so it was great to share and try everything."
"If you are not paying attention, you could totally walk right by it! Inconspicuously hidden in Downtown, Miami Sound Bar is a super cool, chill spot to enjoy a hand crafted cocktail and listen to some awesome tunes. The vibe here is superb. The drinks are a little on the pricey side but well worth it. They have curated a nice list of keen cocktails which match the spirit of the place. But, if nothing tickles your fancy, they do have beer and wine available or your choice of booze. Although, I wouldn't ask too many questions about the cocktails themselves. I did and didn't get the impression the bartenders knew much about them beside knowing how to make them. The place is quite intimate. I imagine it could get pretty packed if there is no door management. If you are into music, this place is definitely for you. The place is set up to get the sound experience you are looking for with sound proof panels, etc. Miami Sound Bar is definitely a great addition to the area. I hope to visit again soon."
"The first hip restaurant in Wynwood, Joey's is getting a much deserved upgrade. I stopped by for dinner during night 2 of Basel 2022 and it was packed back to how it was during it's beginning. Heck, there were even a few chefs from other Wynwood spots dining there. I managed to get a seat at the bar, and started with a well blended, flavored and smooth pineapple mojito #becauserum (Hey it makes art easier to interpret :) My dinner was another favorite - chicken Parmesan. Picture a serving of Al dente pasta with both marinara sauce and fresh tomatoes and a well seasoned chicken breast occupying major plate real estate. The aforementioned chicken breast has a light spread of cheese but heavy on the marinara how I love. Add a dash of red pepper flakes and you'll enjoy a filling and rich platter. Leave some space for their desserts though. The strawberry gelato garnished with a flower was refreshing but my eyes caught a bombolini with fresh berries I need to try next time. Enjoy the music, maybe chat with a fellow bar patron, then close off with an aperitif - perhaps a classic amaretto sour on the rocks. Now you're talking!"
"Amazing dining experience on a Saturday night! This is the first time I come to this Baires location since they were on Lincoln Road before, and let me say, wow! What an upgrade! They have indoor and outdoor seating, as soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a very nice host, who walks you to your table. The staff are very nice, attentive and on top of everything...bringing bread to the table, drinks, and changing out your plates for new ones etc. almost like they are machines lol! It's great though, love the attentiveness. They also had a duo playing live music, it was so lovely and they played great music. The food:We ordered...Tuna TartarePear Salad16 oz Ribeye Mashed potatosBlood sausageRegular SausagePanqueques for dessert Spicy MargaritaMargaritaEverything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing!!! So fresh and delicious. The drinks were good. They have a great menu list with a variety of cocktails. Our waiter Fernando (I think that'shis name) was amazing and attentive as well. Very polite, personable, knowledgeable and made our dining experience that much better!I will definitely come back to try out other food on the menu!"
"I've been here twice ! I don't like the parking situation which is why I feel as tho they aren't always busy. However their staff is great and motivated and the menus has a variety of pastas and pizza . What I didn't know is that they have spice levels to the pasta dishes and that my friend is a game changer ! After 7 they have 15 dollar wine bottles and 15 dollar pizzas"
"Alma Rosa is not just the food, vibrant drinks, show stopping menu items but about the experience. We came here on a Friday night and had such an unforgettable time. It was hard to choose from their contemporary Mexican cuisine with Mediterranean fusion (and a twist) menu. The drinks were delicious and so vibrant. My favorite part of course was the fun show with the dinner. It really was something cool to watch and made our time at Alma Rosa so much fun.We ordered the burrata caprese ahumada which was a showstopper so get your phone ready. The coolest presentation ever but also bursted with flavors with their in house cilantro pesto that was out of this world. From the service to the vibes, the aroma of the restaurant to the elegance, this place is IT and it was such a great spot to hang out at."
"I ordered Goat roti for take out. The service was super slow. The roti was greasy. Not spicy and not impressed. The place is good to come chill with a few beers but not the best if you are coming just for dining. Plenty of parking next to the restaurant."
"I actually don't even know what the food that's actually served here because when I went, it was for a Christmas party hosted by a law firm that is in Miami. We had burgers and so many other handheld items that I truly enjoyed. The ambience and the entire view is absolutely beautiful. Great scenic view, great food and I'm not sure if it was just the party that was being hosted that allowed us to get free cigars and smoke. If so, then they have a very nice smoke section/cigars. If not, then I guess it was just a delicacy that I got for that event, and for that evening. Outside of that, I would come back to your truly try the food that's here. But for me, ambience and service standpoint, it's absolutely amazing."
"Wowza! We were so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place is!! We arrived at our hotel 15 minutes before kitchen closing next door so they recommended holding our luggage while we ran over to order. The food as well as service was excellent! And the wine was great! We were catching a plane the next morning and this was the perfect place to layover. We also had breakfast there the next day - delicious!"
"Located in the Citizen M hotel downtown, Night Swim Rooftop bar just may be your new favorite place you didn't know about. Why?First of all, it is so cute. It gives off tropical vibes. Its run by the same folks that run the Freehold, so you can expect the same fun ambiance you find there. Second of all - they have happy hour every day from 4 - 7 pm. Specialty cocktails are $7. That is quite the steal in this economy. There is also a food menu, that offers both fried and fresh things. We ordered the tequenos as well as the guac. For drinks, I started with the High Dive but had them switch the liquor to tequila. It comes with a sour patch kid garnish, which was great. We went on a saturday afternoon with a large group and it was awesome. This is definitely a good spot to go to before a concert or game at the Kaseya center as it is directly in front and a quick walk."
"As a born and raised Miamian, I know it is hard for us as a city to agree on a lot of things. But it makes sense why the vast majority of people in this city will tell you, LPM hits every.single.time.Why? They have great food, an upscale ambiance and wonderful service. They also serve spectacular tomatinis. The team here just understands hospitality, as well as the art of executing simple French dishes with complex flavors especially well. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Some stand outs include the warm prawns, escargot, and duck a l'orange. It goes without saying you must order a tomatini which is the essence of LPM in a martini glass. I went recently for drinks for a friends birthday and the bar team was amazing. We said we were going to dinner elsewhere and yet they still brought us snacks and even a slice of vanilla cheesecake with a candle as they sang happy birthday. We were so touched by the polaroid photo and hand written note to wish us a great dinner nearby and thank us for our visit. This to me is Unreasonable Hospitality at its finest, and why I will always recommend LPM as a great spot for any occasion. Shout out to Jonathan, Federico and the other bartender who were a total pleasure when we stopped by on Tuesday. Won't soon forget that experience."
"If you are looking for authentic, delicious Cuban food, you have to try Sazon. I recommend you start with their Pina Colada. It is absolutely delicious and comes with a fresh pineapple slice .For your entree, I suggest the Lechon Asado with a side of yellow rice and sweet plantains. The pork is so soft and is roasted to perfection. The yellow rice adds color, and to me, there is nothing like a sweet plaintain. The service was great, but when you arrive you may have to wait for a table, especially at dinner time."
"Great friendly service. Food was tasty. Sat outside, and the weather was gorgeous. The bathroom was clean. Would recommend!"
"Another spot near me that has taken over 4 years for me to finally try.I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for some drinks and light bites. The only parking was $7 valet. It was super lively inside. Loud music was playing. Soccer was on the tv. There was an interesting mix of single guys there just hanging out and families there for the feijoada buffet. We sat at the bar. The bartender working was very friendly and attentive. The drinks and food were very good. If you're looking for a light snack, I recommend the meat skewers and garlic French fries.I'd like to return soon to try the feijoada buffet, and will update my review when I do."
"The most refreshing lunch... Dr. Limon ceviche!Dr. Limon is the routine lunch stop on arrival in the Miami area. We usually split the Remedio Casero (medium spice, and mixed) along with a wine or sangria. My body thanks me for eating such clean food! The staff struggles with my poor espanol as I hack thru the ordering process. Haha. They are prompt and fun. I enjoy the added touch of the host staff holding the door upon entering/departing.The location is not the sexiest (strip near FIU) however the interior is clean and colorful, and most often busy."
"Exchange Miami is a great place for group events, especially if you're grabbing a section with bottle service. Personally, this wouldn't be my place of choice for casual drinks and music. It is near the beach so be prepared for street parking or planning your rides prior. The staff at the door are super friendly and accommodating to new patrons. The DJs are great, it is typically Hip-Hop playing on the nights I've been. Nonetheless it's always a good time with the right people."
"We stopped into Duffy's for lunch before heading to the airport to return back home to Washington.Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Duffy's is family friendly. Cash only establishment; credit cards are not accepted. ATM is on premises. An 18% service charge is added to parties of 4+.I loved the nostalgic and creative way items were refurbished throughout Duffy's. I couldn't resist browsing the entire place looking at photographs and newspaper articles. There are TVs throughout. There is quite a large outdoor covered seating area to watch televised sporting events or just to seat large parties. While perusing the menu, I sipped on a Bloody Mary. My first Bloody Mary that was served without any of the vegetables. Odd.For my meal I chose the BLT Sandwich with Potato Salad as the side for $8.95. I always love a good BLT and Duffy's did not disappoint.Staff was friendly and took pride in their home-state. Prices were fair. Food was tasty.Thank you, Duffy's, for sending us home satisfied."
