Bahamian Pot Restaurant

Love coming here for the boiled fish. I've tried other items, but I always come back to this. Delicious. Service is pretty good. Only negative is for the ambiance, they need to get that AC in order. It's hard to eat when you are hot.

Everything was absolutely amazing. The only downsides to my visit were that our food came out sporadically. I and another person in my group were almost finished with our food by the time the plates for the others in my party received theirs. And the other was that I was told that the lady who makes the conch batter hadn't arrived yet, and that was the main thing on the menu I was craving and wanted to try. It was 12pm when my party dined. Would've given it 5 stars otherwise. So my advice would be to call ahead of time to make sure what you'd like on the menu is available.

On overlooked gem, the food was fresh and delicious. I had fried snapper, over-easy eggs (instead of grits) and toast and loved it. Make sure you have the homemade lemonade, it was refreshing and tasted like a perfected recipe. I loved this spots small mom & pop ambiance, and the service made me feel at home. Don't waste your time or money here. The service here is abysmal. I came here on a Saturday morning and my group wasn't even greeted and sat down when we arrived. It took 20 minutes for the waiter to even bring us a menu and we had to ASK for it. No one offered us any drinks. Our food and the food of the other patrons came sporadically. The food for the entire table should ALWAYS come at the same time. The waitress waited until she had already given two people at our table their food (again, 15 minutes apart) to tell the third person at our table that they didn't have anymore of what she had ordered. The food was mediocre and bland. The waitress was not apologetic nor attentive. I try to patronize black businesses whenever I can but I will never come here again.

Bahamian Pot specializes in Bahamian style dishes but is known for their conch & Boiled Fish with grits for breakfast.Boiled fish & grits is very good , clear savory broth with fish & grits. They also give you buttered bread. VERY GOOD. The prices are low and the quality is up there. What really impressed me was the courtesy & manners of everyone in there ! Everyone was super nice and made me feel so welcomed Definitely try this place out , you will NOT regret it.In the morning weekends go for Fish & grits ( before 11 am) or try their other dishes. ALL good

POOR Customer Service and their food is HIT or MISS. SMHTry it at your OWN risk...I could not enjoy my food and barely ate it today.No one asked if they could do something about it.All they were interested in you paying.Will NEVER be RETURNING...Too many so called Bahamian restaurants to PATRONIZE!!!

The food was delicious. I had the boil fish and grits I've been coming there for many years and the food always the same delicious. My hat off to the owner she is a special lady and she knows her food.Boil Fish

Food was fresh and hot. Reminded me of being back home. Definitely will come back again. The service was great and the ambiance definitely felt like i was eating in my grandma's kitchen
