We arrived about 6:30 to 7 and was seating in the dining area by the bar. We were the only ones in there for about 10 mins but were then joined by 4 other tables. We promptly ordered drinks from their fun cocktail menu. However we did not receive our drinks until 30 mins after our appetizers arrived. We asked the waitress and she told us there was a queue, but we had ordered before the other tables joined us. So service could use some work. The food was pretty good. I recommend the drunken noodles (minus the egg- there was so much and it did not taste good) and Korean bbq spring rolls. The coconut cake was also delicious.

This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. The first time I came with friends. I felt like the service was a bit slow. I ordered the crispy pork belly and it was delicious. The second time I came with my family. I had a much better experience. The service was good. We tried a variety of foods - all were delicious. They even had mango sticky rice this time. They were out the time before. I recommend the Nam Tok salad, we had their special crab pad thai, and Thai beef jerky. We also loved the mango sticky rice!

I was excited for a new Thai place in Garner but disappointed by Mia Bistro. After reading many positive reviews, I ordered takeaway Pork Belly appetizer and chicken panang curry. I arrived to find an unattractive dining room in various shades of brown. Dining isn't just about the food for me. It's the ambiance too and this place depressed me. Although I was given an arrival time, my food wasn't ready. The crispy pork belly got soggy while waiting on the curry. The appetizer lacked salt and came with an oily sweet sauce)when I ordered spicy). Happily the spicy level was good on the curry but it lacked depth of flavor. Good but not amazing as reviews eluded to. I've had much better flavored curry. Lastly, the food wasn't a good value for the price. Try it. You might like it but I won't be back.

Ok everyone go check out Mia Bistro!!! We had heard about a new Asian restaurant opening up in the area and hadn't gotten around to checking it out yet, but one day after a movie, we were hungry and stumbled in looking for a late lunch.I was excited to see so many delicious sounding Thai dishes on the menu. We got the som tum (papaya salad), crab fried rice, and Thai iced tea. Everything tasted authentic and incredible. We were pausing to compliment the flavors after every bite. The crab fried rice was a little pricey, but there were a lot of chunks of crab in it.The ambiance of the restaurant is really cute and slightly upscale. Service was also really friendly and attentive. I'm so excited to come back and try some more dishes!

So happy to have a new restaurant to eat at in Garner! Walked in and the entrance was lovely. Flowers hanging from the ceiling, a small seating area, the podium where the host stands. We were greeted by the host and we were asked if there was a a particular place we'd like to sit, we opted for a booth. We started with some spring rolls. Nice flavor, crispy shell, sweet chili Thai sauce for dipping. For lunch, I ordered Pad Thai and my sister ordered Pad Kee Mao. They do not skimp on the portion sizes here. They brought out two loaded plates and both were amazing. The Pad Thai was sweet and savory, plenty of shrimp, I'm extremely happy they put the crushed peanuts in the side rather than sprinkling them across the top. The Pad Kee Mao was wonderful, my sister took the leftovers home and said they were better the next day due to the flavors just soaking into the noodles. Service was pretty slow. We sat for over 45 minutes waiting for the food and the restaurant was pretty empty but overall, I would say the food was worth it. It is a pretty limited menu here so I do suggest giving the menu a glance over before heading in to make sure they'll have something you want.

This has been the best Thai food we have tried so far in the area. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were both delicious with a good size portion. Our waitress was attentive and the ambiance was nice.

We came here on a whim and we're so glad we did. They have the best Penang Curry we've had in a while. The flavor was out of this world. The spice level was perfect. I'm raving about one bite I stole from my sons bowl as I had instant regret I didn't get it myself. My husband and I had Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle, but we both wanted to steal our sons bowl.

*Heads up... lengthy review.* I happened to glance at their little yard sign as I was taking a left out of the Target shopping center. I was headed back to Lady Janes to pick up my Husband. We didn't quite know what we wanted to do for dinner yet so I said "Hey Siri, text Super Dave... look up Mia Bistro, I just saw a sign for a new Thai restaurant". He was already in the chair getting his hairs cut so when I parked, I looked them up. And I read all the reviews. We are very well versed with Thai cuisine. Mia's is a new restaurant and it's abundantly clear they work very hard at achieving authenticity. Which is why most would consider their menu to be limited. If you don't know Thai cuisine very well, you may very well be disappointed in their selection. What we experienced from start to finish warrants being put on "our list". I'm one on the look out for exceptional customer service, and when we dine... we expect at least what we pay for, at a minimum. They were easy to find, near the movie theater with a PERFECT location. Walking in, we were greeted with the most beautiful atmosphere, an attractive, welcoming restaurant and the best smiles in Wake and Johnston County combined! We were immediately greeted and sat. Promptly submitted our drink order with our waitress that arrived 30 seconds later. Great Positive Energy. Good Start. We were given enough time to pick out our appetizer from a list of approximately 8 deliciously described starters. We picked the Thai Beef Jerky/ Thai Beef Bites... and glad we did! Thin strips of marinated, crispy beef served with a spicy Thai sauce that wasn't too spicy at all. Super Dave loves Hot & Sour soup so he gave it a try. It's different than any other Tom Yum we've had, but just fine for a flavorful soup. If I remember correctly, there were about 12 entrees (with protein options) to choose from. I ordered Panang Curry, which is my go-to and pretty much the recipe I gauge Thai restaurants by. UNBELIEVABLY DELISH, PACKED WITH FLAVOR! Dave got the Spicy Basil Leaves (which he kicked up after she brought out the sauce carousel =o) ). It had a hint of smoke and was an exciting palette of spices and veg. Actually made a lettuce wrap with the garnish from the Jerky, YUM! Most everything on their menu had protein options. And if it didn't, they would be more than happy to accommodate. Everything was super flavorful. If you're not used to recipes with a bunch of flavor, be prepared for your tastebuds to do cartwheels, and not because of the Scoville score! (You can ask for any intensity of heat... or none at all)The portions were generous, and come with white rice, which I prefer. Plenty leftover to take home for another delicious meal. I usually post food porn, but we excitedly dug in before I remembered to take pics! All throughout our dinner, we were visited by at least 2 employees in addition to our server. Our cups were constantly filled and they were all attentive to us, making sure not to miss anything. They were sufficiently staffed and you felt the vibe they were happy to be there as they were like busy bees and very visible. Not lurking in a corner trying to hide they were on their cell phones. Very customer focused. For a Saturday, it wasn't packed but plenty busy. I expect the place to get busier and busier as folks discover Mia Bistro and the attention to detail, genuine customer service and the outstanding flavor journey they provide. We are tickled freakin pink to have another good, quality dining option in our area! Mia Bistro is now on our radar and will certainly become a favorite go-to. Looking forward to the next visit... already know what we'll try from the menu next! (Jeep Dumplings, Drunken Noodles, Crab Fried Rice & Coconut Cake!)

A little pricy for the portions.. and esp $5 for a small serving of sticky rice is crazyy. The food is decent, I'd come back for the spicy catfish, so good.
