I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and it never disappoints! I no longer live in Houston but try to stop by when in town! This was one of the better experiences! Arepa was buttery and delicious! Empanadas were beef, tasty. The milanesa was cooked perfectly. The servers are always attentive and everyone makes sure you're taken care of. Live musician on Saturday walking around to tables is a nice treat for Saturday lunch! You MUST try this place!!

I organized a group outing to Mi Pueblito. They had always given us separate checks. I admit. We were a bunch of folks, maybe 18. I was surprised when they told me only four checks per table. So we ordered by groups. The 20 percent tip was included. I understand giving separate checks can be a hassle but they've done it before. They carry a tiny machine where you can easily pay individually. The shrimps in the shrimp cocktail are tiny ones. They're served on top of an avocado with a pink sauce and served with crackers. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. My passion fruit drink was good; however $4.50 is pricey. The drink is made from a small frozen bag of pulp which you can purchase in a package. It shouldn't be more than $3.50. Unfortunately I won't be taking my Internations group there any longer. Paying individually isn't allowed any more.

We have never tried this kind of food, nor this restaurant before, but we were pleasantly surprised they greeted us warmly right away when we came in, they walked us past Last cases of yummy bread and desserts, sat at our table. The waitress was prompt, warm, friendly. The food came out right away, and it was warm and delicious Colombian flag drink. She suggested was absolutely scrumptious. They must try place.

I have been wanting to visit this place and I finally was able to! Colombian food is my favorite and I was excited to try it out! Service was great! Our waiter took great care of us! The place is clean and spacious as well which is greatly appreciated. Looking at the menu I was disappointed that they didn't have an empanada plate on the menu. They only sell them individually. But the empanadas were still good and packed with flavor! For my main dish I got the bandeja paisa and it was delicious! The chicharon was super good and the rice and beans were amazing! The meat was okay to me. Overall I would come back and try more menu items since they do have a lot of options to choose from! On my way out I could not leave without getting dessert! I got a quesillo which is like flan and some others as well to try! Can't wait to be back!

The food was amazing and authentic bring a big appetite and try everything. Ask for suggestions and take them. The bakery is great too the mouse was chocolate heaven. Service was great this place is far from me but would definitely do again. Restaurants like these make me want to be more adventurous with my picks to check out. Someone was singing and playing guitar from table to table it was fairly busy but not crazy. Restaurant was clean and fairly sized yet a quaint vibe.

I was born in Colombia, so I judge the food more than most people. The service here was great, but the food was really disappointing.I ordered empanadas, chorizo, and tostones. The inside of the empanadas was not good, they didn't have that much stuffing either. The chorizo didn't taste like a typical Colombian chorizo. Not a great place if you're looking for authentic food
