Mi Cancun Taqueria

My wife and I watched the taqueria sign in the window for a good year or two until one finally opened. The result wasn't what we hoped for but we had to try it out. It's not really a taqueria but rather a small Mexican restaurant with a full menu. I ordered the spicy beef taco lunch plate and she the enchiladas suizas. The chips and salsa were good. You could hear and smell the food as they prepared it. I thought my tacos with rice & beans were tasty but the serving size was on the small side. Her enchiladas weren't exactly suizas but she liked them.The food is good but I prefer a simpler place or truck where you get a bit more for you money.

Have been to several Mi Cancuns & they've always had good food. This one is a bit different since this is a taqueria featuring authentic meats that you won't find in the other restaurants. They have lengua (beef tongue), tripa(beef intestines), chicharron(fried pork skin) & buche (pork stomach)...all served on homemade corn tortillas with diced onions & cilantro with sliced radish. Ask for some spicy salsa. These are all absolutely delicious! For the less adventurous, they have some standard Mexican fare (burritos, enchiladas etc...) as well.Service was very attentive and quick. This is a small space so the seating is pretty tight. Had honestly expected quick-serve but this is full service.

This spot is small and is located in a strip mall in Apex. My mom and I stopped in for lunch and had an okay experience. We started off with a round of beers and chips with queso and salsa. Next my mom ordered one of the combination meals and I ordered two tacos and the elote. The service was good but the food was just okay and it was expensive for what it was.

Small cozy spot in a strip mall in Apex. Excellent friendly staff and kick ass food.We stopped by at lunchtime and seated right away. I had the Choripollo seasoned grilled chicken topped with chorizo and cheese. Sides of rice beans and salad with corn tortillas. Awesome.Definitely coming back for more.Great spot.

The food was delicious and an amazing selection. I had the enchilada suizas and my husband had the Birra tacos. We also had the fresh guacamole. We will definitely be back to try other selections. Eduardo served us and he was personable and professional. Our experience was very good.

This restaurant recently opened here in Apex and I've been twice now. The food is excellent, the staff is very attentive and friendly, and the place is clean. 5/5 would recommend!

We were served right away, the staff and service was great. Super friendly. Small spot located in Apex. They checked in on us and was quick with their service. The food is great, we tried 5 kinds of tacos and an array of drinks. All delicious! Thank you!

My local go to for Mexican take out! I go to the bigger one in Cary but see local one for quick eats in way home.

Great food. Large portions. Service was excellent and the food came out very quickly, not too quick. Got the house fresh made guacamole, it was delicious, made right in front of us. Would recommend for sure.

While the interior is simple and basic, the food is not! The food is divine and at an affordable price. Service is always friendly and quick. This is truly a hidden gem whether you're eating in or doing take out. Be sure and ask for the extra "hot" salsa!
