Expect to be in awe as soon as you enter the doors ...The decor and vibes just set the m o o d to experience such amazing food and company. The fish were top quality and the quantity was quite surprising for how well the quality was. Personally, I favor salmon and it definitely melted on my mouth. Tuna is a-okay for me, usually because a lot of the tuna I have aten always ended with a slight-fishy aftertaste. Although, here I think the tuna was quite the favorite! I did not taste any fishiness or bitterness in any of the plates I ordered!! Our waiter has such amazing energy!! Also, the restaurant was PACKED yet it was not at all noisy, surprisingly. We told our waiter that and he explained the science behind the architecture - how the wooden walls absorbed the souds because they were a **type** of wood made for that. Fasinating! For their appearance on the outside-inside, you'd think you would be broke by the end of dinner; yet, we ordered quite a lot and it was least expensive than other places yet the quality was incomparable. So unfortunately I kind of forgot exactly the plate names I ordered; HOWEVER, I recommend you let your waiter/waitress take the wheel and order for you after telling them your preferences and dietary restrictions because ours did a PHENOMENAL job.

Food was amazing. Everything we tried was flavorful and delicious! We tried almost all the nigiri on the menu. The service was fast and there was always someone ready to take our dirty plates. We will be back to try more thing soon!

Holy cow! This place was amazing we got sat in the corner window and the service was amazing. We had the sashimi chefs choice and it was remarkable. This place does sushi differently. Each piece has a unique taste in the sense that it'll have a herb or common flavor like jalapeño or citrus to complement the fish. It really makes them stand out - I will return!

This place is good for really good, authentic no frills sushi. The fish quality is some of the best in town and they know what they're doing. Really love the how the restaurant feels clean, open, and not stuffy at all. Went with a group of 6 and we had great service and a great experience. Our server was great and recommended dishes for us. Our server recommended the Ancho cocktail and it was one of my favorite cocktails I've had and I'm not even a fan of whiskey. It was so well balanced and delicious. I don't think the battered lobster appetizer was worth it. But the crudo was delicious. All the nigiri was really good and the roll was unique but not sure I would order again. Overall would recommend this place if you're looking for some good straight up sushi.

Went for birthday dinner and they did not disappoint! Although our reservation took over 30 minutes past the time for us to be seated due to other parties over extending their dinners - we were accommodated so nicely by the server and management team. We were seated at the sushi chef table and watched as they prepare our items. We received several pieces of signature nigiri that was of such high quality fish, as well as a few rolls that were creative and delicious! The restaurant isn't huge and instead feels clean and homey. The dinner rush was definitely 7-9pm with everything clearing out around 10ish. I will definitely return for the chef omakase when they start of offering on weekends again (unfortunately they currently only do them Tuesday and Wednesday right now so that was a little disappointing).

Finally went back for omakase and what an experience that was. First of all, don't worry about leaving hungry - there's at least 20 dishes. Second of all, it ain't cheap, but the service, food, and presentation are outstanding. You get seated at the bar with 10-11 people and you get to watch the master chef prepare everything in front of you. It was like watching art. He personally made every nigiri and had a hand in the other dishes. The way the entire team worked together was seamless. There were 2-3 waiters that exclusively whisked our plates away and ensured our drinks were topped off. I'm limited on the number of pictures I can show, but there's nothing we didn't enjoy. Not going to lie - I winced when I saw the bill, but it was worth it for a special night out. If I had to compare this to Kata, I'd say they are par. Kata had more fusion type dishes where MF focused more on traditional ingredients, like the fish itself. I loved them both.

General Description:A high end sushi restaurant. The good:- Sushi quality is good, but I've had better.- Interior has an authentic Japanese feel.- Restrooms have hand towels instead of paper towels. That should give you an indication of where money is being spent.- Service was good but not outstanding. The bad:- Price. For the amount they charge I could've spent that on a nice steak dinner. I understand that sushi is vastly different than steak. I'm merely stating that the money wasn't worth the satiety that this restaurant provided.- Seating area is uncomfortable. I get that you'd want to provide an authentic Japanese experience, but the cost is hard wooden benches that leave your butt out to dry. Overall: It was a nice experience, but I'm not sure I would return.

MF sushi was a very nice restaurant with definitely a high price point. Service was really great and fish itself was fresh and well presented. A couple questionable recommendations from our server who pushed for cheesy dishes, which I personally am not a fan of at a sushi restaurant... but that's fine cause the other things were not too bad. Though for the price point I have a hard time justifying coming back instead of going to some more smaller sushi restaurants that have the same quality of fish but maybe not the same presentation. I will say one of their outstanding features was their cocktails which I would be willing to come back exclusively for. Their shishito pepper cocktail was so well balanced. Would give this place a try if you're looking to explore high end sushi!

There's so much hype around MF sushi so I had to give it a try! The ambiance & interior was nice.Onto the food, I was expecting a separate premium option such as the toyosu market list in which they didn't have. A bit shocking. I was a bit sad that their sake list was small and there was no foie gras. However to critique on things we had on the table, everything was underwhelming. We got everything the server recommended & from others as well. The kitchen selection was disappointing. Surprisingly the only thing at stood out to us was the salmon skin makimono oddly enough. Our server & waitstaff were fantastic, food is just severely lacking,

Came here for dinner because why not, I've done uchi and while it's one of my all time favorite restaurants, you want to just have more a sushi purist kind of dinner sometimes! MF sushi is just that. Simple and you can really enjoy the quality of fish. I also love the option of traditional maki, it's what I love getting when I'm buying sushi from a Japanese grocery store. Often time it's the simplest of pleasures are life's treasures. I was quite full at the end!! The sashimi (chef's special) is such a great array of amazing buttery fish!!! I skipped the special rolls so I can focus on the fish today. Interestingly they did not bring rice with the sashimi, I'm sure I could've asked for it but was trying to save some room for the maki, though good to be aware of that when ordering. The gobo is one of these things I've never tried until I went to Japan. I've had it as a salad, in sushi, and fried as a topping. It has a crunch and a unique earthy flavor that I have never experienced in any other vegetables. I really recommend trying gobo at some point at a traditional Japanese restaurant. The natto is delicious but an acquired taste :) my friend tried one and wasn't a fan. Salmon maki is simple, delicious, and will never let you down. 5/5. Bonus point because they offer a hot cloth at the beginning, it's the little things that elevates the experience.
