So service and pricing were pretty solid. Can't complain about that. Service was great. My wife absolutely loves this place, they are really good for gluten free people and it's one of her favorite things. I really am not a huge fan I don't like arepas, I felt like there was way too much sauce on them but they get 4 stars for being good with everything else!!

We waited 30 minutes for our food when they were at vicious fishes. The food was cold and the arepas were raw and tasted soapy. The tacos weren't any better.

Yummy! Food truck was in our neighborhood and I figured I would try out their food Venezuelan and Tex-mex. I ordered the torta, chicken arepa and nachos. The torta was sooo good, very flavorful and I loved the bread they used. The nachos were also good, they meat is well seasoned and they gave good portions. The arepa was my least favorite, I didn't like the shredded chicken as it wasn't as flavorful for me. Overall great food, the Torta is a must try. To bad I didn't have room for a taco.

They were supposed to be at the Southern Peak Brewery in Apex at noon yesterday. We stopped by at 12:20, and the truck was just pulling up. It took another 25 minutes for them to be ready to serve customers. We almost didn't wait, and probably shouldn't have.My friend liked his torta, but my quesadilla wasn't anything special--chicken and cheese with nothing else to give it any distinction. The chips were covered with a sweet sauce that added nothing to them. They were wearing masks and gloves, but didn't offer napkins, and the payment wasn't touch free. The food was a 3, but the long wait and service made this truck a 2.

Picked up a couple of arepas from this truck, got one steak and one chicken. A little corn flatbread pocket as they call it, filled with beans, cheese and either steak or chicken. I was expecting some big flavors from the steak and chicken, but they were both unseasoned and really bland, according to the menu they were supposed to come with an avocado sauce, but I didn't get any of that. My homie got the Super Torta, it was huge with alot going on with all the different ingredients piled on. I tried it also and it was ok.

The name pretty much summarizes the menu. I didn't have a single "ummm. no" at all, although I didn't try everything. The pork taco had me wishing I had ordered two, but then I wouldn't have tried the chicken arepa. The arepa was equally as good, although the chicken, eaten by itself, was dry if you had a bite without the arepa itself. That's not unusual though. It's meant to be eaten together. Even then, it didn't take away from the flavor. The hot sauce was not overly so and the green sauce was mild enough to punch up the flavor without overwhelming the meat. Both of the sauces are served on the side. This is an unusual food truck -- at least for me -- where the order was ready almost as quickly as I finished paying. I could see them making the food, so I know it wasn't all pre-made.If you're fortunate enough to come across this food truck, try it. Quick service, friendly people and good street food -- that's about all you need.Oh, and to the person who absconded with the tip jar at the festival? Karma happens.

The MexiArepa food truck was in my neighborhood and I was craving nachos. The service was quick and good. The employee was friendly and engaged with his work. The nachos were 4 star. The chips were a little soggy. The steak was good and finely diced. The food was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. I would try something elsee they offer if I am craving Mexican food or an Arepa and they were in the neighborhood.

Invited them for a food truck event at my office three weeks in advance. We followed up with an email and confirmed the date for them. The day of, I called them two hours before the event and they didn't answer the phone. At time time they were supposed to arrive, they weren't there and I called them asking where they were. They thought the event was the next day but said they could still try to show up. Over an hour and a half later they still had not shown up. Every time I asked when they would arrive they said they were "almost there". Finally after almost two hours of waiting I called them to ask where they were and they didn't answer the phone. Called three more times and texted, no answer. Finally called them to tell them I cancelled the event and did not get an answer on the phone. Still don't know if they ever showed up to our location since I left. Can't say if their food is good or not since I never got to try it, but I would not recommend them if you are planning an event since they don't seem reliable and are not good at communicating.

I ordered Pepito from here, and it was a total disappointment. Not only was it cold, but it also took forever to arrive. Unimpressed with the service and the quality of the food.

I was really excited to try these arepas. In fact I drove to some other food trucks in the area and then came back to try these only to be met with horrible customer service and subpar food. This was at the block party event in Durham today. When ordering, I asked for the beans separately and the woman at the cashier kept insisting it'd get all over the arepa anyway, interrupting me when I was saying it could be placed in a sauce container. Then she replied with an attitude "sure, if it doesn't melt the plastic"...?? I ended up getting lukewarm black beans which definitely weren't going to melt anything. When she handed the plate to me without the avocado sauce, I politely asked for it when she again replied with lots of attitude "I'm getting it right now." Unfortunately didn't come with any hot sauce though I saw her giving it to other customers. The arepa was $6 plus my tip so $7 and I got the tiniest arepa which had little fibers baked into part of the dough.. gross!! Flavor was okay. I've had better at other food trucks. Just an underwhelming and disappointing experience. No idea why staff is unnecessarily rude. Waste of $$. Don't recommend.
