Mex Taco House

This place is like a slightly more affordable, slightly less delicious Chilosos, and that's just fine. Chilosos got too cocky about their menu and pricing anyways.The Spanish rice is SUPER garlicky which I love (just like I make it at home), the lunch plates come with a decent amount of food, which is important for a big guy like me.It's a little cramped, but cozy. This isn't a place you're going for a nice sit down meal anyways. You get your grub, eat, and get on with your day.

Breakfast taco Heaven!!! So many choices but all are fabulous!!! Little bit of a line but goes really quick and the Tacos are definitely worth it! My husband and I love our early morning breakfast tacos!!

Service was great, friendly staff and the food was so worth the wait , they get really busy... go early!

OMG OUR NEW FAV RESTAURANT! loved the vibes! Amazing customer service! FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ! Made with quality and so much taste! I mean look at the size of this burrito it's huge!!

Food was great, although it's a bit chaotic walking in. At 10am on a Saturday it was evident there were lots of To-Go orders. Upon walking in it is hard to determine where to go and order? Wasn't sure if you ordered by the food window or at the register. Food was tasty, will definitely return. Ambiance very laid back.

This place never disappoints! I don't get here often enough. Everything I've had to date has been fantastic. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is so dang good!

Drop the mic.Seriously. I don't live in Cypress, but I wish I did. I stopped to get some breakfast tacos on the advice of fellow Yelpers. What I found was the perfect tortilla. Not kidding. Within the H-Town underground taco scene there are many types of tortillas. Some are thick - some are thin. Some are floury. Some are corn, some are flour. Some taste like they came out of a bag (yuck) and some taste homemade. Mex Taco House has perfected the tortilla. I ordered a few breakfast tacos for myself and 2 cheese quesadillas for my son. This place provided one of those disturbances in the force. After he took his first bite, he voluntarily quit playing his iPad. He took bite after bite. He loved his food just as I loved mine. The tacos were full. They did not skimp on anything. Everything was awesome and flavorful.The place is busy, but they serve you fast. So don't let a line scare you. It's a little loud, but as you kick off taco time - you'll tune that out.My advice - try this place?

This is our favorite spot in Cypress. Our 10-year-old isn't a big eater, but when she gets a Mex Taco chicken quesadilla, you can count on her finishing it. That speaks volumes!I usually go for the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast taco. Best breakfast tacos we've ever had. We've been to quite a few hole in the wall places - Mex Taco beats them all. We've been customers since their old (smaller) location on Telge. We will continue to support this awesome family business.

The menu at Mex Taco House is a true celebration of Mexican flavors, offering a wide variety of tacos that cater to every palate. I started with their classic Guacamole and Chips, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident with every bite. The guacamole had the perfect balance of creaminess and tanginess, making it an ideal start to the meal.For the main course, I tried a variety of tacos, but lowkey, they were kind of heavy and disappointing. The tacos felt too greasy and the the tripe (normally my favorite) was soggy and way too spicy. I didn't enjoy my tacos has much as I hoped I would.I must say though, the service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who were more than willing to offer recommendations and ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided, making it a great value for money.
