"I had a pretty wowing experience here. I can't wait to return and explore the menu more ! We did make reservations and were promptly seated. Service was amazing as expected courtesy, timely, and helpful. We placed our drink order and within a few minutes our perfect crafted cocktails were brought to the table. While looking over the menu and decided on a trees and appetizers. Our food was promptly brought out; one of the entrees the Rock Chicken was not warm at all, the server without issue replaced the item. We were here for a birthday dinner and a complimentary dessert was brought out for the birthday girl with sparklers and all :) !!Pro tip: it is a little loud in here so make sure know that going in its a very lively environment but also creates an entertaining atmosphere. I loved the complimentary valet ! Please remember to tip these are very kind generous and hardworking people !!!"
"For September's International Supper Club UYE Zinc Bistro was the place that we picked. The day came for us to meet up, I had made reservations before arriving and was pleasantly surprised to know the table was ready before the time. After everyone was seated, we started off with drink orders, I went with a French 75, a champagne cocktail with empress indigo gin, fresh lemon, simple syrup and a Hennessy float, this was a nice cocktail, a good way to start the meal.I knew before I arrived that I wanted the Onion Soup, it was a traditional onion soup with bubbling six mount aged AOP gruyere cheese. I had been craving French onion soup and this hit the spot, the caramelized onions, the hearty savory broth the croutons covered in melted gruyere cheese, oh so dang good! Glad we gave Zinc a try and look forward to coming back!"

"Excellent meal once again. Place is packed full of people but we were seated promptly. Great service, great food!"
"Decided to go out for dinner in Scottsdale and have had pretty good experiences with going to parties at The Roaring Fork.It was a weeknight so we receded immediately and decided to sit outside. They do have a fairly nice patio on the side of the building. The service was very good the restaurant was clean Little on the expensive side but the food was well prepared and worth it.We will definitely be returning for a meal sometime in the future."
"Christmas dinner was amazing here at Bourbon steak. I ordered the ribeye it was delicious just to say the least. All of the sides were great that we ordered. The cocktails were very good our servant Keaton was amazing and with the extra bio for every little detailed items that we asked for, it is located right in the lobby of the princess hotel so all the festive lights and groundwork and everything was really beautiful. I am absolutely going back to this restaurant on a regular basis because everything was excellent. The servers everybody was wonderful, very friendly, and very helpful.Location 5/5Food 5/5Food Quality 5/5Service 5/5Parking 5/5Atmosphere 5/5Management 5/5"
"Met up with friends to go to a show downtown Phoenix and we wanted to get dinner before the show and picked Mancuso's. Its been in the valley for 40 years and this was my 1st time there. We had reservations so we were shown to our table right away. The meal starts out with bread, which was delish, For the meal I went with chicken marsala. The was perfectly cooked chicken breast in a wine sauce with button mushrooms paired angle hair pasta and seasoned green beans. The table also shared a bottle of wine. This was a great meal, service was a great. Can't believe it was my 1st time there, but it won't be my last!"
"There are not many places in PHX that have an ambiance like Le Ame and the Global Ambassador. Phoenicians are known for always looking for the new hot spot in town, flocking from one trendy restaurant to the next, but I'd argue Le Ame is timeless and will unequivocally be a staple in the valley for years to come. Our evening started with a home run. The tuna carpaccio, in my opinion, is the best thing I've had at Le Ame (two meals). Light, delicate, fresh, this dish had it all. We also tried the French onion soup. I found it to be a little on the salty side, but my lady disagreed and loved it, so clearly subjective. For my main course I ordered a filet, it was perfectly cooked, medium rare, and had a 5 star flavour. The truffle butter was a nice addition as well. For our sides, we shared the sweet potato and Brussel sprouts (which was technically an app). The sweet potato was another highlight of the night. The hot honey and pomegranates in the sweet potato dish enhanced its natural sweetness x 10. An amazing side that I'd order again. I found the brussel sprouts to be decent, but it definitely got overshadowed by the sweet potato's. Profiteroles for dessert. The perfect amount for 2. My review would be incomplete without giving a shoutout to the entire team at Le Ame. They truly went above and beyond and created a memorable night. Gilbert, our server was awesome- funny, personable, attentive. He was great. Thank you again Le Ame. See you soon."
"Recommend: Yes! But it is a small restaurant so I hope not everyone decide to go all at once lol. Food: amazing! Delicious and they know how to put things together. Service: great service. Sounds like family own. The husband is one for he chef and the wife works at the bar. Details:Can I tell you that this place was so good that I want to go back already? The octopus was cooked perfectly well with amazing sauces around it. So colorful. A must order dish. I hope they always have this item in the menu. The other dish I got was the seafood of the day. It has risotto rice, seafood with tomato base. So good. I'll definitely be back soon."
"Sooooo I completely forgot to take a picture of our chef. It was a chick. Her name is Luz. She was great. Great at cooking, great personality, witty and funny like a teppanyaki chef should be. Very engaging. I've been coming here since I was 10 or 11. I came for my 12th birthday and my 18th birthday. I recently read some... poor reviews from people who also have been coming for years and it made me slightly apprehensive to bring a friend for the first time but we took a chance and it's a shame these people had such bad experiences because we had just a good a time as ever. Can't wait to go back always ."
"We showed up for our reservation early (by about 40 minutes), but there was plenty of room in the bar area to grab a cocktail while we waited. After a short wait- we were walked over to the teppanyaki table. There were three of us, and two separate couples who had already been seated. Our first thought was: "Are they really going to try to fill ALL these seats??"There were about 9 chairs lined up around the table with zero room in between. All the chairs were crammed up against one another- ZERO arm room or space.Thankfully, they decided not to seat anyone else at our table (or no one else was available to seat) and we 86'd the remaining two chairs. Whew. Our server, Seth, was awesome...and fast AF. One minute he's standing next to you taking your drink order- then you blink- AND BAM, he's back with your water. Seth is either an Olympian...or the butler from Mr. Deeds.Anyways, needless to say, Seth definitely was on top of his game.We had the pleasure of getting Chef Jose for our table. I have to emphasize PLEASURE; because he was honestly the best teppanyaki chef I've ever had. No joke.Great energy, super clever, hilarious, and he did the BEST show for all of us! There were a few times he legit had me dying laughing. Such a great time!Aside from Seth providing excellent service (in record time!), Chef Jose would be the reason I would come back to Kasai. The food was delicious and flavorful. Our squad all went with the same selection: New York Strip Steak (double- no shame) and scallops. So good!Like I said, I'll be back again. And shout-outs to Chef Jose and the 100-meter Olympian gold medalist, Seth! You guys were the real MVPs.*Note: I tried to also take a photo of Seth, but he was just too fast. All the photos just showed a blur.*"
"Interior- very clean, ample seating, fun decor that matched the restaurants theme, and clean restrooms.Staff- so friendly and welcoming, they made us feel like family, very accommodating, quick to meet our needs, and took the time to make recommendations.Food- 10/10 everything we ate was so flavorful! We had shrimp ceviche, the ribeye meal, 1 grilled shrimp taco, 1 fried fish taco, free chips and salsa, with all the sides and condiments you could ask for. My favorite was the grilled shrimp taco and the ceviche! Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and are planning to make this a regular date night restaurant for us. The DJ even came around asking if we had requests, and a few couples were up dancing. This restaurant seems like the perfect place to celebrate any occasion or host a large get together. We can't wait to see what they do with the outside!"
"Stopped in last night to enjoy my birthday dinner with my girlfriend at the bar, and overall, it was a good experience! Was surprised that there was a wait to sit at the bar at four in the afternoon, but also nice to see the hustle and bustle. Service overall was wonderful, with everyone behind the bar contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Very professional. A special shoutout to Michael, who stood out with his playfulness and positive energy--he really made the evening memorable. The mocktail crafted by the first bartender was absolutely delightful, packed with grapefruit goodness, a dried lemon, and mint--so refreshing! I'm sorry I didn't catch his name.We loved the Caesar salad, calamari, and happy hour oysters. While the oysters were mostly great, a couple had a bit of crunchy grit, which was a bit off putting. The scallop dinner was good but not worth the price point honestly. The scallops were well grilled but the sauces and accompaniments left us wanting a little more in terms of flavor and creativity. We mostly ignored what came with it and just ate the scallops with lime juice and french fries. While the dish wasn't bad, it's not something I'd order again. Before leaving, we asked about a birthday dessert. The only option was macaroons, which neither one of us wanted. I appreciated the effort from the bartender to ask about other options for a birthday dessert treat, though it's a bit disappointing that he was turned down. Love that he tried. The playfulness of putting birthday names on the board is fun, but snapping a photo felt awkward with diners seated directly underneath the sign so didn't end up with a photo. Maybe another year The ambience at happy hour is fantastic, and the atmosphere feels lively and inviting. However, the prices feel a little high considering the overall menu options and flavor profiles. Still, it was a lovely way to celebrate, and the staff's warmth and energy made the experience special!"

Toca Madera - A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience! From the moment we walked into Toca Madera, we were blown away by the ambience. The space is elegant, vibrant, and perfectly set the tone for an amazing evening. It's the kind of place where you feel both relaxed and excited at the same time. But what really stood out was the service--absolutely top-notch across the board. Every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel incredibly special. Our waitress was especially wonderful, adding a personal touch that really made the night unforgettable. Now, let's talk about the food. First of all, the chips and pico are to die for--the perfect start to the meal. The calamari? 10/10. It was crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The guacamole with plantain chips was a genius twist and absolutely delicious. As for the wagyu steak... I've had my fair share of great steaks, but this one was on another level--by far the best steak I've ever had.The Carne Asada Caesar Salad was another highlight. Every bite was full of flavor, and it complemented the other dishes perfectly. Honestly, everything we had was fantastic. As if all that wasn't enough, our waitress surprised us at the end with a lovely dessert and a toast with alcohol-free champagne to help us celebrate our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful touch that truly made the evening even more special.Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, and I wholeheartedly recommend Toca Madera. From the ambience to the food to the exceptional service, it's a 10/10 in every way. I can't wait to come back!

I went here the other day, enjoying a by myself day while doing some shopping and having lunch. I had the French onion soup with extra cheese and it was wonderful! I also had a spicy margarita with Taheen and it was delicious! I sat at the bar and enjoyed my service there with the bartenders. The service was nice And attentive but not intrusive. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and I look forward to coming back. I encourage others to come here as well. It's such a cute little darling place!

It's been more than a few years since we last dined at Roaring Forks but a missed flight connection left us in Phoenix looking to dine.Front of house was courteous and very helpful (thank you Matt). The servers were great (shout out to Burke). Steak was outstanding and the spicy tinge to the prawn cocktail sauce hit the spot. Hope to return faster than last time - thank you

First thing's first, Devon was our server and he was fantastic. We started with the duck fat fries which were delicious. Then we had a spoon bite of mushroom arancini. We were nervous about this because neither of us like mushrooms. But we went for it anyways, and it was so good! I had the Japanese A5 Ribeye which was delicious and worth the price, and my son had the Artic Char. For dessert we had the Beignets and got the cutest little birthday ice cream cone! The restaurant's decor was beautiful. And of the 3 restaurants on property it was by far our favorite. Great Job to Bourbon.

Holy Moly... we're extremely happy with each and every visit. This has become our fave place for traditional Italian in the Valley. Sure, there's a lot of Italian eateries, but very few with the tasty Mamma Mia feeling when you bite into there food. From Veal Marsal (Wow!) to their Caesar Salad with Mushrooms to the Meatball Risotto you can't go wrong. Traditional, tasty, and traditional. Oh, did I mention their fantastic Garlic Bread. This is easily anybody's, any Foodie's Italian eating hole... come on down and Manga!

It was a beautiful brunch this morning with good friends, great service, and incredible food! I made reservations for 6, and we were seated in a booth near the kitchen. The entire space was decorated amazingly chic; intimate and romantic! Our service was thorough and gave fantastic recommendations for our brunch. We started with the Pancrepe, which he split amongst our table, even cutting a small slice for my little one. That was amazing! I would not share again because I am selfish. Our table ordered various dishes: bagel and lox, croque madam (house specialty, as it should be!), French omelet, quiche florentine, French ham benedict, and a chocolate croissant. There were resounding MMMs and OOhs so it's safe to say our friends enjoyed their dishes. My husband and I really loved the quiche florentine - the crust was flakey and buttery. His benedict was perfectly poached and the hollandaise was rich! I also loved the chocolate had so much chocolate inside! I loved it and should have ordered my cappuccino with it.We had an amazing dining experience, and we hope to visit again!Merci, Le Ame!

Steak Fact: Steak gets its name from Scandinavia. The Scandinavian word "steik," which refers to a thick cut of meat for roasting or grilling, dates back to about the mid-15th century. Eventually, the term evolved into the modern English "steak." I came here for my birthday dinner this year and it was amazing. Cocobana Cooler, PB&J Pork Belly, Bone Marrow in herby butter sauce, and 16 oz. ribeye with green beans and potatoes au gratin? Yes, Yes, YES! While everything was on the heavier side in terms of seasoning, not one bad bite was had. The flavors, the cook on the meat, the sips... all amazing. I wouldn't mind coming back just to order a bunch of appetizers to share. I was so amazed by this place. One of my friends ordered the Chef's Whim, which ended up being a beautiful dish of surf and turf. It looked tasty. The thing that I didn't enjoy was that they required you to give your credit card info when making reservations over the phone, which is the only way you can make reservations at all. I would have preferred and felt more comfortable making reservations online or through an app and leaving my credit card info there instead.

"Every time we come here, I always tell myself I'm going to get less at the salad bar so that I have room for all the meat. Once again that did not happen. This place has a nice atmosphere with lots of wood and dividers of frosted glass with pictures etched on. There's a bar in the front with seating at the bar and a few tables. There is also a patio outside, but I don't know if that's used. This is a Brazilian steakhouse with a large salad bar. You can pay for just the salad bar, or the salad bar with the all you can eat meat served by "gauchos." When you're seated you receive a wooden block. One side is red one side is green - - if you would like the person serving meat to stop at your table, you make sure the green side is up. If you want them to pass you by you put up the red side. When you are done, you lie the block on its side. The salad bar is really, really good with lots of choices. There is a regular salad with toppings, but there are also a variety of pre-made salads like ceviche, grapes with blue cheese and walnuts, and spicy chicken salad. There is a hot bar to the side. We were there during brunch hours so there were some breakfast items included candy bacon which was delicious. It also had mashed potatoes and beef stroganoff - - I swear this is the best beef stroganoff ever. There are also delicious puffy Brazilian cheese bread. Then while you were at your table, someone comes to your table with different meats on a long skewer. You have it plate with small tongs and he will slice off the amount of meat you want onto your plate. When we were there, there were three people bringing out the meat skewers. While we were there, the gauchos served tri-tip, garlic sirloin, garlic parmesan beef, sausages, bacon-wrapped chicken, sweet and spicy chicken, chicken hearts, glazed ham, and grilled pineapple. Everything is so good, especially when you top it with the chimichurri that's available on the salad bar. I don't know how authentic the food is here, but I do know that I really like it. It's delicious! I always eat way too much here despite my plans to stop before I'm too full. There's never room for dessert, but the dessert tray looks pretty good."
"Intimate. Dark. Sexy. Savory. Small succulent oysters in a ginger soy sauce. OMGChilean Sea Bass accompanied with fresh pasta. "Went back to Rokerij last night. I know I said I wouldn't come back, but I just had to see if they can rebound from their Covid hangover. I do think that things have really improved. We ate at the upstairs bar because Holly is usually there and she is always great. We had cocktails and HH apps. All were very good and the pricing is surprisingly good value in 2024."
"Firstly- the stars are for the food- and no reflection of the really wonderful service we had from Melissa- more later. Back to the food- Really big portion sizes- however, the fries and onion rings were stale and likely sitting out- they were barely warm. My partners salmon was over cooked and the rice pilaf was pretty bland... if "food is fuel" is your motto, you're probably going to be ok with this mediocre food. Back to Melissa- excellent service! She was attentive, very sweet and funny! I'd come back and ask for her section- she was honestly the best part of our experience there. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect with a live bull right next to the front door. It is an absolute hike to the hostess stand and there are a ton of stairs to navigate- if you need accommodations, I'd call and ask ahead of time if they have any. I certainly didn't see them. If you're sensitive to a lot of noise, this is definitely not the place for you- in addition to the live band (they were good!) they have a loud birthday routine that can get pretty annoying as apparently this is a popular birthday destination! You come here for the sawdust-floors, steaks and view!"
"Date Night Perfection at Three Thirty Three!Such a great experience last night for our pre-Valentine's Day dinner--everything was a wow factor from start to finish! We dressed up to match the upscale ambiance, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was top-notch.Some highlights from our meal: Wagyu meatballs - packed with flavor Garlic noodles & Japanese fried chicken - juicy and absolutely delicious Cloudy sake & Purple Dragon cocktail - highly recommend! The restaurant offers valet parking for $8 or a nearby garage within walking distance. Conveniently located right off the freeway, making it easy to get to. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience outside of Japan, trust me--you won't be disappointed!Highly recommend for a classy date night, drinks, and small bites!#ThreeThirtyThree #DateNight #JapaneseCuisine #FineDining #TempeEats"
"First time at a Korean bbq and I quite enjoyed my experience. The tiger combo was a lot for two people so we opted for the wagyu thin sliced brisket, shrimp, pot stickers, kimchi pancakes, beef kimchi fried rice, spicy stir fried squid. Honestly typing this review up, we got a lot of food for two. I didn't enjoy cooking the beef so I made my cousin do it. It was tasty after she was done. My favorite meal were the beef kimchi fried rice and the spicy stir fried squid. Those dishes were packed full of flavor, and we had good amount of leftovers. Great drink menu, as well. The staff were amazing, helpful with the recommendations. For the price, I do think you get your money's worth. Also the restaurant had a lots of packing space, we didn't have to wait at all because we made reservations as well. Definitely will be back."
"Upscale restaurant and loved the experience. Took my wife there for her birthday night dinner. Overall I would recommend this place if expense is not a thing for you. Here are my takes:Food/Drinks: Everything tastes premium and upscale as the restaurant is. Serrver explained everything and was very welcoming. We tried 2 appetizers and entrees along with desserts which eventually were not billed and complementary on the house for the birthday night. Service: It was a very quick service from order to the table and loved it. Everyone is welcoming too. Ambiance: Great classy interior with multi-tier seating. Huge area and some unique shows of decor inside. Price: We ended up spending $300 for 2 adults and a kid here. It is upscale and so do the prices. It is not a place to go every day but for special occasions, these are some of the good options in the valley especially if you are into seafood.I would not go here every day but wouldn't mind being here on special occasions."
"First time in was during this lastest shopping Holiday. Arrived around 5:15 PM.Was able to view the menu prior to going in, so knew exactly what we wanted to order. Atmosphere was really inviting as far as the lighting, look and the open kitchen concept.Ordered the honey garlic and herb wings. Super yummy, just wished they were drenched in more of that great sauce! Shared a truffle cheeseburger which was absolutely divine. Reminded me of a Gordon Ramsey burger we use to crave in Vegas. Only bummer is that the burger is a little pricey and doesn't include a side. We shared a large order of salt & vinegar fries plus got extra truffle sauce to dip them in which was the perfect pairing. Met the GM who was hands on working with staff to get orders out to diners. Learned in speaking with her, this is their second location to open. Original location started in Nashville Tennessee. Definitely a "go to again" place. I'd suggest their Happy Hour to get some great deals. If not splitting a meal (like my son and I did) it can be fairly expensive but it's Scottsdale so to be expected."
"We came here on a Saturday night at this place was hoping! You can smell the delicious BBQ from the parking lot and know you're in for something good! We previously had called to get reservations, but since we only had a party of 4, reservations were not an option. (They require a party size of 6 or more for a reservation.) They quoted us a 45 minute wait, but after about 20 minutes we got the text that our table was ready! We got seated in Dorian's section and he had the best recommendations creating a fantastic experience! We had the burnt ends and the baseball steak served with the hot stone! It was all so good! We will definitely be back the next time we are visiting parents in the Casa Grande area! Hope we end up in Dorian's section again, too! Cheers!"
"Celebrating our 15-year anniversary at Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse was unforgettable. Eli, the owner, served us endless cuts of delicious Brazilian churrasco meats, including my favorites - the leg of lamb, filet mignon, and ribeye. The self-service salad bar with a variety of salads, vegetables, cheeses, and other accompaniments like the salmon, mussels and black beans and rice were enjoyable. When you are ready to sample the meats, you turn your coin card to the green side, indicating that you are ready to be served or red when to pause from serving. The service was excellent, and the family-owned business's friendly atmosphere made us feel at home. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse has not only survived but thrived. As we reflected on our 15 years together over a delicious meal at Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our milestone in such a special place. The combination of delectable food, top-notch service, and the heartwarming ambiance of a family-owned classy establishment made our anniversary celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you Eli for your amazing service and we hope to see your family and business continue to thrive."
"I really wanted to love this place ... but sadly. It fell short. Came in for my bday dinner on Saturday . Ordered cocktails , a glass of wine and 2 carajillos (these took a solid 15-20 minutes to make) the restaurant wasn't very busy and it was only 5:15 pm.... then we ordered the ceviche , apparently this is not on the menu anymore (i was given an old menu) then we decided on the tuna, this was also no longer available, again... it was only 5:15pm. We settled on guac. It was good, lacked some flavor . Complementary bean dip was good , and the salsa were also tasty. Moving on to dinner, husband got the ribeye , which was cooked perfect, but also fell short on seasoning. I got the Barbacoa and it was just ok.... Very very fatty , I maybe finished 1/3 of it .. orders a second round of drinks . Another 15 -20 min.... Pros - beautiful restaurant and atmosphere , good drinks. And server was lovely. Cons- everything took too long, the few things we wanted weren't available and the few things we got were just meh.... I would def come back for drinks and apps at the bar, but will probably pass on dinner."
"Excellent cocktails, and friendly service. We came in for Legends (their sister establishment) but they said it doesn't open until 7pm and they happily offered to seat us at Pretty Penny. I had the Ticket to Pearadise which was pearfection! It had poached pear, anise, cardamom, rooibos, basil, miso, ghee, and calvados. I loved it!My friend had the Passionfruit Negroni which had passionfruit, campari, sweet vermouth, and gin. This was a combo of tart, bitter, and sweet. My friend liked it."
"We went to Frashers tavern on a Friday night to enjoy a nice steak dinner for a reasonable price and we weren't disappointed! This restaurant has a casual vibe that's perfect for a romantic dinner without breaking your wallet and with excellent service. We came with another couple and we ordered to ravioli, bacon wrapped scallops, Caesar's salad, ribeye, filet mignon, prime rib dinner, and a steak sandwich ... you name it, we ordered it! Every one of these meals was fantastic and you can't go wrong with the menu here. Top it off with nice bottles of wine and you got a solid steakhouse experience in Scottsdale ... we will definitely be coming back!"
"Their food is always so amazing. Drinks are also awesome. The service is great too however they tend to not pay too much attention or come check up on you as much. Although overall great experience and will be coming back!"
"Service and the servers are great! We had a group of 8. Celebrating our friend's 33 anniversary and we had a great time meeting some new friends and celebrating our common friends. Hamburgers are great, I wouldn't suggest the artisan pastrami the Steak freitas is excellent. The wine selection is superb."
"If Arizona was giving away Michelin stars, they definitely deserve one. From the host welcome, to the level of service, the thoughtful timing and everything in between. Everything and everyone was amazingWe chose this place for a birthday, checked in for our resy and as we walked through the path there were multiple managers (?) section leaders (?) awaiting to welcome you in their home. We were sat down and almost immediately our server popped up and welcomed us for dinner, stated that specials for the night and asked us our bread preference. I had just finished reading Guidara's book and this place was the epitome of what he was talking aboutOur meal was perfect, from the timing of the apps to the temperature of food. They did not miss a beat not once. Even the mid towel service in preparation for dessert lightly scented with lavender, to the mid service table brush. I was in dinner service heaven. And to that this place will always have a place in my food core memoryThe beignet tree?! Imaginative and memorable! Plus it counts as my vegetable intake. The farewell was sad because I wanted to stay forever lol, but the whole team was so thoughful with boxing up our leftovers AND putting in disposable utensils because we were traveling. They had our little pick her choice of dessert from the menu and that was so sweet of them to do."
"A long, long time ago, overplowing in thr morthern tier of states and strong prevailing winds blew the topsoil of Kansas, Colorado, Montana and South Dakota into the Texas Panhandle. It was called "The Dust Bowl". It shredded the US economy, upending the lives of many. Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" is a microtome slice of those millions of stories. Why do I tell you this? Because three of my grand-uncles stayed put, toughing it out in the Panhandle. My grandmother grew up cooking for them and a host of farm snd ranch hands.Sundays in Los Angeles our family sat diwn to fried chucken, real msshed potsties with chicken gravy and any number of sides.TexAZ is that for me. I enjoy the food immensely and nostalgically. In Grandma's childhood the chuken and beefvwrre home-grown, varfish caught in local water bodies. Life's changed. I thank the msny beasts whi've shared their fleshy goodness with me. Especially breaded and fried."
"Brought my dad for a late father days dinner on Monday evening and we had a great time. The hostess got us checked in and we were seated right away. Cold water was served immediately and Dan our server came over and introduced himself. He gave us time to look over the menu. Warm biscuits and corn bread were brought out and mmmm both breads were yummy. We ordered:1 Grilled Chopped Steak and a side salad ($32) 12 oz Patty, Caramelized Onions and Mushroom Gravy1 Herb Roasted Half Chicken and a side of green chili soup ($32) Whipped Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetable1 Pan Seared Tomahawk Pork Chop with a side salad ($42) Parmesan Potatoes and Apple-Cranberry ChutneyThe food was delicious and the portions were huge. Both salads were crisp and fresh and the green chili soup had so much flavor. My roasted chicken was flavorful and juicy. The mashed potatoes were our favorite as they were very fluffy. My dad enjoyed his pork chop and said it was cooked well. The chopped steak was thick and the gravy was really good. The broccolini was our seasonal vegetable and these were cooked perfectly, not at all overcooked and they had a nice subtle crunch. Service was top notch from the start. Dan was attentive and friendly, thank you! The inside of the restaurant has so many cool artifacts. We walked around after we ate and enjoyed looking at the old photographs. Total with tip: $140"
"My friend and I chose this restaurant as one of our stops during Arizona Restaurant Week. Good French restaurants are quite hard to find. This one was wonderful from start to finish, including the warm and cozy ambiance.First of all, I appreciated that, even though the overhead lighting was dim, the small lamp at the table allowed us to read our menu without having to turn on our phones' flash app. We were impressed with the professional appearance and attitude of the wait staff, who were helpful with questions and the right level of friendliness. We chose from the special restaurant week menu, which included vichyssoise, lamb chops, and for dessert a berry tartelette. Everything was excellent. We knew we'd be returning as there were a number of other items on the regular menu that we want to try. The only negatives were minor. The lemonade just didn't have that puckery zip. Too bland. They willingly remade it for us -- but no, still not what we were looking for. Also (restaurant manager, please note), on the check out ticket, vichyssoise is spelled wrong. And the crust for the berry dessert was difficult to break with our forks."
"Cafe Fact: A cafe is a type of restaurant which usually serves coffee and snacks. The term "cafe" comes from French, and means "coffee".Decent breakfast and decent dinner. No complaints! While I probably wouldn't make the drive over here for their eats, as a guest that was staying at the adjoining hotel, this was more than fine to fill the tummy when not wanting to leave the site. Maybe it's because of the more senior clientele of this place, I found all the food to be lacking in texture and salt (yes, I'm trying to find the nice way of say bland and mushy food, haha!). The price includes tax.Breakfast: I had an Espresso Martini ($10 - Vodka, Kahlua, Espresso, Simple Syrup) and a Country Fried Steak ($17 - Two Eggs Any Style, One Breaded Beef Steak, Country Gravy with Choice of Toast): First of all, if you want an espresso martini in a pretty cocktail glass, this ain't it. This isn't t he kind of establishment with over the top alcoholic drinks. In fact, I think they onky offer mimosa, Bloody Marys, and espresso martinis for breakfast. It's still a pretty decent espresso martini if you don't need the extra frills. As for the country fried steak, it was decent. Getting an extra side of gravy will cost you a few bucks but the extra gravy was needed.Dinner: I had a Traditional Club ($16 - Triple-Decker of Ham, Turkey, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Swiss Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, with Your Choice of Bread): To be honest, I was in the mood for a basic BLT and I don't know why I didn't ask to see if they would make me one. Triple-decker sandwiches aren't my thing and I wasn't too crazy for deli meat. That's on me though so I have no one to blame but myself. Was it a good sandwich? Sure. Will it win any awards? Nah! I did really like the onion rings that they served on the side."
"Loved Wren and Wolf!!!! The champagne bump was delightful with the rich caviar! Loved the tasty meatballs. My bff and I shared a ribeye....all their steaks looked amazing and ours was aged and tender with a deep flavor. Our wait staff was amazing. Our server gave us such good recommendations!I am an addict!"
"The Americano is pretty swanky and sexy. It feels like a restaurant in Chelsea, NY. Their private rooms seem great for taking your clients out for a meal and there is so much space that it seems you don't even need a reservation. For food, we got the burrata to start, which was very good. It comes with some deli ham, which I didn't enjoy. It was so tough and too salty for me. For entrees, I got the ravioli, which was outstanding in taste, but so small in portion that I was still hungry unfortunately. My husband got the half-chicken, which was meh. It didn't fill him up, either. They don't even bring bread so we had nothing to fill us up. For the price point, I wish the portion was reasonable. Dessert time, we ordered the carrot cake, which comes with saffron gelato. Even though it's about three bites, it was probably the best thing we got. The gelato was delicious."
"Maps say it's a Benihana, but it's not. It's a take out Benihana. Too bad was looking forward to it instead just a avg restaurant."
