"Loved the jalapeno cheddar grits (!), mac n cheese, smoked turkey, and their in house iced tea! Oh man oh man. These stood out. The beans, coleslaw, and brisket were pretty standard. Their brisket was smokey and more flavorful than most but was not melt in your mouth pull a part goodness.Very nice staff, lots of parking, good pricing."
"This place was really good. Loved my pita sandwich. Next time I'm getting hummus on the side to add to it. The spicy hummus was my favorite. We also got falafels that were fresh and delicious. The chicken was okay but I prefer the gyro meat and kabob! They were getting pretty busy when we were there too."

"I love the Papaya and Noodle plate. You can choose the meats of your choice. I usually like the chicken or beef. Nice spot to eat at in Phoenix. We enjoyed coming here on a night out to escape the heat. I also like the Spring Rolls here with shrimp or pork. NIce people, and staff working here. Prices are not high either. So, I will be coming here often."
"Delicious pizza and great wings!I was having a rough day at work so I wanted to grab something fast for dinner to refuel and keep grinding. We got the half and half 12 inch Al pastor and carne asada pizza and a half dozen order of wings.Wings were crispy and came with your choice of dipping sauce and I opted for the cucumber ranch. The pizza was the star though! The Al pastor was my favorite with grilled pineapple and porky notes playing delightfully off of each other. The carne asada was no slouch as well with so many flavors. Delicious salsa and garlic combined with carne asada on a perfectly cooked crust. Staff was super friendly and it's clear they care about the quality of their food as everything is made fresh. Eat here! You'll def leave with a smile on your face (now I want a 12 inch Al pastor for myself)"
"I love me an Italian sub. My friends have been telling me about Romanelli's for years and they finally took me. I had to go with the Italian Stallion. Absolutely an amazing sandwich. They also have a great Italian grocery section for all your cooking needs. #DukeOfEats"
"We stopped into Crackers & Co for brunch. We felt fortunate to sit down right away since the parking lot and restaurant were both pretty full. The service was friendly and efficient. I had the 2-2-2 breakfast that came with eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Their menu is fun and creative. I saw a few things I would like to come back and try."
"Always delicious. Always a favorite.Reminds me of growing up back in the Northeast. Trips to south Philly to grab a cheesesteak from Pat's or Geno's.This place is the real deal. Don't forget the cheese whiz."
"I ate the Buck out of this place, it's so Bucking good!!! It's definitely my new Buck Buddy...love it!I'm of the belief that you can make anything into a burrito...it's my favorite food group. Love so many things about this spot...the location, the storefront, outdoor seating only, smoky bbq smells, the burritos are phenomenal, the people are super friendly, everything! I went with the brisket, egg and cheese burrito and added refried beans to it. Loved every bite and was sad when it was gone. But I'll hit this again....but I'll probably wait a few days so I don't seem desperate. On a scale of 1 to 10, I love this place!"
"This spot is super convenient on your way up the 17. The staff was friendly, the place was clean with plenty of parking but the coffee and food didn't wow us. We got 2 iced coffees, the elevate breakfast sandwich, croissant sandwich and 2 brownies. The espresso tasted almost burnt and bitter which didn't make the drink great. We were in a hurry heading up north and I didn't have time to ask for a remake as it was pretty busy. The sandwiches were fresh but nothing special. The brownies were the best part of the stop lol. They were thick, fudgy and good. Plenty of people love this spot so maybe we stopped in on an off day? Not too many other coffee shops in the area so stop in and check it out for yourself and hopefully have a better experience."
"Better come hungry! I had the Tony full size for lunch and damn near couldn't eat dinner that night. This is coming from a guy who has never missed a meal :) Anyhow this little hole in the wall place has been here for like 42+ years. I found it on Yelp and figured let's see if it's everything it's cracked up to be. It's not too far from GCU (Grand Canyon University) and I had some time to kill so I went in for lunch. Nice older gal was running the meat slicer and I believe it was her son or a family member of some sort who took my order.Sure enough it's everything I thought it would be and then some! Sandwich ingredients were as fresh as I've ever had. Bread was perfect. Service was friendly and polite. I sat in the establishment and ate at one of their little tables. Patron after patron walked in and many of them the staff knew by name which I thought was indicative of how old school and well known the place is around the locals Yelp community.Anyhow great place and my only suggestion is if you are not starving consider the half. As I walked out I heard someone ordering a half sandwich and I was thinking darn I should have done that and then I would have had room for the cannoli!"
"If you ever find yourself in the Casa Grande area, check this little local place out for breakfast for sure, or lunch. It's a quaint spot with food that is fantastic! The service is excellent as well!"

Delicious food! We did have to wait a short while to order our food but nothing too outrageous. The location itself is pretty small with limited parking and seating but they somehow make it work. Staff are exceptionally kind. Overall, great place to try!

Really clean, open, and bright atmosphere with very friendly staff. I ordered the build your own plate, shawarma(chicken),steak, baba ghanoush, and spicy humus. Paid $23 All of it was very good! The baba ghanoush has a strong smoky flavor to it, which I love but might not be for everyone. The spicy humus is really tasty, not spicy at all though. Love the shawarma and steak! The pita is also really soft and has a solid flavor you would expect. Really great spot for a more healthy quick option. Just feel like it's a tad on the expensive side.

After a long haitus of 5 years, I finally had the chance to return to Ban Mi Bistro. I was amazed and pleased to see that this wonderful eatery has retained its stellar accomplishments of great food, efficient staff, and reasonable prices. As you can see from my previous reviews, this used to be my daily lunch spot. Changes in work had me relocated during my lunch time, and I had lost touch with this great food. Today, I had a chance to return, and return I did. I bought the rice plate with chicken, which, by all accounts, is enough food for 2 people. And wow, the flavor still kicks ass. Sizzling hot food, with the perfectly sublime gentle spice undertones that seem to comfort your mouth at every bite. The chicken rice plate has a collage of chopped veggies accompanying the chicken and rice, and all of it is amazing. The staff continues to be kind and swift, while being helpful at every turn. And they get the dishes prepared in rocket speed!I was never unhappy when this was my mainstay linch stop, and I am glad to see it continues to be the best asian eatery in the area. Well done to John and the staff!!

I'm not from NY, but grew up on the East Coast so I do love me some New York Pizza and know the difference. Thin Crust and it's all about the dough. During Lunch, getting one of the combos is your best bang for the money as you can go with a few options. I went with a Slice, 4 wings & a drink. The slices aren't super big so I went with a 2nd for about $3.50 more. Look to the right of the main wall to check out the specials as the others mix it up and include a Salad and maybe a 2nd slice. Had the lemon pepper wings (dry rub) 4 per the lunch order. The housemade meatballs were tempting, but I knew that splurging for lunch wasn't gonna help my day so I passed... I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to try. Next time, I'm going all in and getting a full Carne Asada pizza.

I mean come on.Legendary status here. Bow down.91-92 I lived in the apartments next to here and they fed me 100's of sandwiches. Shamelessly I haven't been here in 30 years. I stopped on a Saturday afternoon in April because I happened to be in the neighborhood. As soon as I walked in I was flooded with memories. I even talked to Sam and told him my story and he shared stories right back. Great as always. Much love to you guys.

Great food! The spicy breakfast skillet is delicious! Large portions of carnitas and sauce. Great service too! Very personable. We went on a Sunday at 1030 and it was busy but we were seated right away. It's larger than one might expect inside. Great spot

I used to live in ahwatukee which is in the neighborhood of this place, and took it for granted. Then moved to Cave Creek which is about 40 miles straight north. So I was in the neighborhood and thought I should stop by and see if it still as good as it used to be.Happy to report that the cheesesteak is great and love the sweet potato fries. You get to pick your meat, veggies and even sauce. PS if you get fries you get a drink free so what can you argue about that deal!

Jalapeño Buck's has been on my longtime bucket list! With their specific hours, I finally had an opportunity to give them a visit! They're closed on Sundays and Mondays and open from 10 AM - 6 PM or 7 PM the rest of the week. So unless you're in the area, not the most flexible hours. That being said, I decided to snag a late lunch bite from them this week. They're a BBQ Mexican fusion type joint. , featuring exclusively outdoor seating (no animals allowed), no restroom and walk up counter service. They have a fun shack like vibe with lots of cool signs, but overall limited amenities, but then again, you're going for the food! Or should be!The girl who took my order was very sweet. I knew ahead of time from perusing the menu and reviews that I was going to get the brisket, bean and cheese burrito - The cashier let me know it was a solid and popular choice. She ran me through all their salsa options: A spicy red, a verde type, a more like forward creamy green, a mango and a classic mild red. I did also get a side of guacamole, was pretty disappointed it was prepackaged and expected something made in house, but alas still nice they have it. The burrito was very good! Quite hefty, super smoky and tender brisket. I added pickled jalapeños, overall quite a delicious, but heavy and trick burrito. I loved all the salsas. Would probably opt for spicy red, creamy green and mango as personal favorites. I definitely am glad I made it there, would visit again, but with the limited hours, may not be there in the immediate future. I understand why people enjoy it so much and definitely want to try some of those burnt ends on my next visit!

"So are the states like different kinds of eggs? Are people from the state of over easy? Is that next door to the state of sunny side up? Are the tough people from the state of hard boiled? Anyways, it's a big diner and it's alright. I got the club sandwich, which was a bit dry and some coffee and it more less did the trick."
"Bertha's has new ownership (I think since 2022) and it has steadily gone downhill. The cookies that come with your sandwiches are routinely stale or taste so strange I have actually spit them out. Some of the best menu items are now gone as well. Today I decided to try again--they are closed, but still happily accepting orders online. So after you pay and show up to pick up your food--you'll find that they closed and forgot to turn off their website ordering. Yes, the order was placed directly with them. I really loved this place when Beth Goldwater owned it. I think it's over. The magic is gone."
"The perfect brunch spot for people who love rock & roll classics, breakfast and lunch options for all, & lots of Beatles/Rock memorabilia! It is always pristine inside, filled with free delicious smells from the kitchen, & the staff are incredibly friendly to chat with. A one of a kinda spot that gave me so much joy to be able to eat in a fun diner again"
"Timo's is one of my go to spots for wines and tapas.I have never had a bad pour, nor tapas or a pizza here that is not bathed with love.Prosciutto, fig pizza with arugula is amazing with a Pinot NoirRestaurant WeekI started with the bubbly Prosecco!Course 1 plus pairingScallops with Sauvignon BlancBest fennel prep ever. Delicious crust on the scallop!Course 2 pairingSteak with onion soup covered with aged Swiss Gruyère paired with a light Pinot Noir. Do not mistake this creative take on soup. It almost had a hint of the Mediterranean! Chef says it is from the steak marinate. I was almost tasting a mild Malay soup Kabing from Singapore, a lamb dish. We had this special meal on the front end. Chef Pedro spoiled me by cooking these courses for lunch. Course 3 Beef tenderloin with Merlot: the tenderloin had a perfect crust and medium rare with a little blood.Course 4Strawberry trifle with Brut! What a treat!!Bubbly at the front and at the end!Bravo, Chef Pedro!!!Cours"
"It's been a while so I figured it's time to update my review. Still great as ever. This last visit I had the garden omelette add sausage and ham. The portion was extra large with the add ins. I was so hungry I didn't snap a photo op but just know I highly recommend. I personally always sit on the patio as the inside is a bit cramped and loud for my preference. Service is quick and reliable at every visit. Great little breakfast spot."
"This is my 2nd Zzeeks experience and it gets better every time. The atmosphere is really comfy and friendly with that smalltown, neighborly vibe great for families. They have the best pepperoni slices deal in town and I added their delicious wings in bleu cheese and ranch sauces.Zzeeks is alot of fun with great food and service by Blake.Highly recommended."
"Nello's was a great experience nestled away in a strip mall in Ahwatukee. Surprised I missed this place after so many years in the area. Nello's was more upscale than I expected and had a welcoming staff and bar. The menu is on the simple side but it works and the pizza was very good. Nello's is full service and had a decent size dining room.I recommend the garlic bread bruschetta and pan style pizza. We are not talking a Chicago style pan pizza and it was actually on the lighter side with more crust. The service was very good and while it was upscale there were a few televisions on to catch the end of Sunday football.Best of all, prices were very reasonable! I will definitely be going back to try some of the other pizza and appetizer options."
"If I lived near by I would be here all the time. My friend and I decided to meet up with her kiddo and their menu looked child friendly. It most certainly was and we loved everything we ordered. Even the 3 year old ate all her pancakes. I ordered the California Chicken Club Skillet and one Pancake with chocolate chips, which was a delightful option. I devoured it. The three of us had a quiet little corner booth and it was busy periodically as we ate. The host (possibly the owner) was gracious and welcoming to everyone who came in."
"Amazing subs! I've been back. Far from me but I love this place! Told everyone I know, go here for subs"
"Bubble tea: the ultimate 'sip-er' power beverage!Previously known as Rapha Tea, this place is now Boba and Brew Tea House. Although the name has changed, everything inside, including the menu, seems to be the same as Rapha's. I got the Ube Jasmine and it was a decent cup. It was super flavorful although a bit too sweet even at 50% sugar. Adjust your drink's sweetness and ice level to your liking. As stated in my review for Rapha, I do like the round-bottom cups here. They match my round bottom. XD"
"Hands down, best fries in town....perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy! I ate them all before I touched anything else on my tray, and I will be back for more. You have the choice between tenders and sliders, from no heat to hot. The spice rub has a hint of sweetness that I loved, and it pairs perfectly with the honey mustard. The tender comes with a tortilla which is nice because the spice rub does tend to get all over your fingers. Your order also comes with some fantastic pickle chips that are crisp and flavorful instead of the thin slimy ones you tend to see these days. They even have Stubborn brand sodas in fun flavors like cherry and pineapple cream.Save room for your free ice cream cone on the way out. It's the perfect way to top off a great meal. Lastly, I have to comment on the top notch customer service. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and incredibly welcoming. They clearly appreciate your business and make you feel like family when you are there."
"Love this place. . The food is amazing. Love the fact that they get their ingredients from the Olive Mill in Queen Creek, Az. The service was another great experience. Service was above and beyond all expectations. Five stars in my book. The ambiance was great for the time of day for the whole family or for an old school mobster like myself. Everything was top notch. But the only gripe I have is that they do not have hot wings. I don't know how a wonderful place like this doesn't have hit wings. So the next time this old Goombah comes in wearing a black or blue track suit. It's me."
"Giuseppe's is definitely one of those tucked away spots you'd never think of giving two cents without someone bringing it up. The first thing I noticed- they are very proud of having received TV exposure and incorporated that into their sign. It's also super small, a very intimate place. For our fairly large dinner reservation we took up a chunk of real estate. The ladies who took care of us were super nice, gave us space to chat. At the end of the night it felt like we were a little rushed out but we also had been there for a few hours. It's kinda nice that their menu is not fancy (literally just pieces of paper). The wine list - not terribly expansive but enough to cover their bases for all food items. The food menu - fairly simple, they know what works for them. Options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and they allow you to sub different pastas out (not sure if it's an up-charge). For the price the portions seem a little small but the flavors are there, and it's fresh pasta -- no post-pasta bloat here! They don't do separate checks for large groups so props to one of the guys for doing the dirty work to figure $$$ out for us individually. I can see this would be a fun spot to dine al fresco when the weather is nice."
"This was a quaint little bagel stop- nothing fancy, but they did have friendly service, hot food, all the breakfast staples, and plenty of seating both inside and outside on the patio. Slightly expensive for what you get as the bagels didn't stand out to necessarily justify the costs above an Einsteins per se, as my egg/cheese bagel ($10+) was rather dry and I likely wouldn't get that again. The cafe did stay rather busy and seemingly is a favorite amongst locals."
"They have amazing tasty wings and their trivia nights are so much h fun. It was my first time there and I was pressed"
"This place is a sort of hidden gem within the liquor store and it's a quaint, no frill sandwich counter! The staff is super friendly and happy to give recommendations on the sandwiches. We tried the Drunken Philly and the Third DUI - the Third DUI was really really delicious, the Philly had a little too many mushrooms on it for my taste and could maybe use some sort of sauce but still good. The bread that they use is super fresh and soft and paired with the toastiness is really great. We got 2 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips, and a drink for under $30 so it's decently priced. Overall, I would try again."
"I miss when they were at the Historic Anderson house but the new place is fine too. I've only visited the new location twice so I'm not totally familiar with the menu yet. Seems great as a hangout. Most every customer I've encountered here is doing work or studying on a laptop so it can be quiet earlier in the day. Evening hours seem to be more social. I love the unique art and playful layout of the menu. Every aspect of this place will fully immerse you into the cozy-grandma-bachelor pad aesthetic the creator was going for."
"When visiting a friend who lives in this area, my other friend and I wanted to stop for a quick drink and a bite to tide us over until dinner later that day. We were amazed at the prices of the food and the quality! Only $7.95 for a London Broil which included the au jus! It even came with a side of pasta salad which was amazing! The place is quaint, but has a decent amount of seating that is comfortable for a quick bite to eat. As well as friendly staff that was attentive, and cleared our plates/tray. We did converse a little with a gentleman who mentioned being from Michigan and hoping to see us return. When in the area and looking for a solid sandwich or salad, this is the place to check out!"
"So, I LOVE Noble bread and frequently get it at the farmers market. I do not find myself at the eatery often, as it's not too close to me, but on this fine day the occasion arose and we ordered Noble takeout. Their online platform didn't allow much modifications and my friend was looking for something specific so I called in instead. The gentlemen on the phone was not the friendliest and made sure to note that I could have ordered online, which I do understand and is easier as I was getting food for 5, but also could have had a friendlier tone. I ordered the ham sandwich, friends got the turkey sandwiches, mixed green salad and Italian grinder. All sandwiches come with a side mixed green salad, very basic, just greens - but you can upgrade it to caesar salad. Lastly couple brownies and the hummus with nduja ( it's sort of like a chorizo sausage blend) and pickled veggies on top. It came with fresh house made pita bread. Most of the sandwiches come on their fired pita bread or hoagie. Considering they have so many delicious fresh loafs, but that's okay. Sandwich was quite tasty, fresh ingredients for sure. The brownie was also good, but a bit cakier than I prefer. The stand out for me was the hummus with nduja! I've never had anything like that combination, but it was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be ordering it again or would make a special trip for it! Order was done promptly in 20 minutes and packaged well with all the things we needed. I did noticed their menu changes, sometimes they have trio breads or maybe that was in the past or specials. Menu is not huge by any means, 4 or so sandwiches, classic pizza, variety of sides and take and bake pasta options. Everything is definitely fresh though."
"During a random search for a meatball sandwich, I found this little hole in the wall. I did not know so much history from a small sub sandwich pizza shop name, McGurkee's.Once you step in, you can smell the sesame being toasted on bread. I personally tried the meatball Italian sandwich. The texture of the bread was crunchy and just right with the taste of sesame seeds. The meatballs were soft inside and nice cooked outside layer with warm battered pizza sauce. The price for the sandwich ran about $10 for a 6 inch. Without planning lunch I got to experience a little bit of Phoenix history and a good tasty meatball Italian sandwich."
"I stopped in for lunch yesterday and was very pleased with my meal. My Gyro was stuffed full and tasted great, and my side salad was freaking terrific. The prices were great too. Win win!"
"Always great service, everyone is always so friendly.Great go to for coffee, smoothie, açaí bowl, breakfast or a quick snack. They offer vegan foods as well as plant based milks. My only complaints are they have on multiple occasions ran out of items. Like Saturday or Sunday. They'll have no food!I'd love to see them offer more vegan friendly to-go foods and or meals. But otherwise I'll continue to come for the coffee & smoothies."
"I've ordered three sandwiches from this restaurant and they are delicious. No skimping on the meat here, and the bread is fresh. I haven't been in yet, but if I'm nearby and need something for lunch or dinner, I sure will! Yummy!"
