"Aloha! In the mood for some fresh flavors and ingredients, and want to stay on the healthy side too? You can't go wrong with a poke bowl. Tasty cuts of lean fish (or chicken) on a bed of rice and veggies, topped with plenty of seafood garnishes that make you feel practically island-side.I usually go with white rice, then half ahi tuna, half spicy salmon. I prefer the OG sauce because I like some savory with my spicy. After that, I load up with pineapple mango salsa, seaweed, and pickled veggies, as well as an assortment of other crunchy and spicy toppings like sesame seeds and toasted coconut. Then, finish it off with one of the sauces. I like the Togarashi and Ono Ono. My wife is a fan of the avocado cream. Be picky and get what you like, or be adventurous and try something new. Depending on the day, you can sometimes get a premium topping for free.Up at the counter, they'll walk you through signature bowls with pre-identified ingredients or help you make your own custom creation with what you see in front of you. I appreciate that the ingredients are not only in front of you but also called out on the menu above, which helps when trying to figure out what to put in your masterpiece. The folks here have been very helpful. We met the owner at one point, who is just a real nice and genuine guy. It's nice to be able to support a local Gilbert franchise.Oh yeah, ambiance. It's always so clean and casual inside. There's open table seating and even a couch where you can lounge and watch the TV, which is often streaming surf videos. We'll definitely be back again."
"My friend who loves ramen decided we needed to try this place. After eating there for the first time, I would say it is pretty average as far as ramen places go. The service was a little...well let's just say I think he was new to serving. He had to be reminded to get things a few times. And he was the only one serving, although there were only a half dozen tables filled. He tried hard. I'll give him that.We all got ramen, so I don't know how their poke is. The ramen was average. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was at a spice level of 1 (where's the heat!) on my spice scale. Very disappointing. It was good traditional ramen, but nothing special. We probably won't come back here because there are a few other ramen places that are better. Good food. Just not great."

"We had a nice dinner for four on a Friday evening. The patio is a nice size so it accommodates a lot of people. We ordered the calamari, fish and a and a poke bowl salad. The calamari are heavily breaded and while crunchy the strips of calamari steak were still tender. The fish and chips are some of the best we've had, moist fish, flavorful batter and well cooked thin French fries. The poke bowl was the bomb however. Very fresh tuna with a nice kick of spice in my spicy version, plenty of pickled ginger, edamame, red onions, A few slices of avocado, fresh cucumbers, radishes, and chunks of mango. It was very flavorful and quite a large portion. Our friends ordered the fish plates and one suggestion would that be they get slightly larger plates as their food was falling off of them and hard to manage!"
"Accidentally stopped by because I wanted Asian food and the other place I was planned to go was closed unexpectedly. It seems like they were busy with online lunch orders which is great for them. Even though they got many orders, they were quick to help me.The bowl is huge and they offer so many different kinds of toppings. I love the seaweed. I could not remember the name but I could not find it at any other poke places. Fish and rice are ok."
"Omg!!! Exactly what I needed. This place is so fresh and the restaurant is super clean. The general manager, Colten is super cool as well. My wife Brenda and I just met him and had a nice talk. We definitely found our new hometown restaurant for fresh food. Thanks guys, see you soon."
"Although Gosan is priced higher than other poke spots, the fish and marinades have greater quality. The menu consists of sashimi, rolls, and poke bowls. There are preselected combinations but I always enjoyed making my own. The staff have always been kind and the scoops are generous. =POKE=There were standard bases of white rice, brown rice and salad. Besides the plain versions, the fish came with either a mayo, sweet or spicy marinade. The hot spicy albacore and tuna had a red chili forward profile that brought in the heat. Hawaiian tuna was a mixture of salty and sweet. The creamy wasabi tuna was mayo forward and surprisingly sweet, not my favorite as the wasabi fails to stand out. The scallops are my personal favorite as these plump mollusks soak up the sweet creamy sauce well. I was happy to see a decent selection of vegetables and fruits. Seaweed salad and imitation crab weren't priced extra. Avocado cost more to add on. Although there are sauces available, I wouldn't recommend adding on more given the high liquid content and flavorful marinades already. The sauces primarily had a soy or sriracha base. Very fast service and a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. Seafood has always been fresh and I love the ingenuity of the marinades."
"Good poke option off of Mill Ave. Staff is fast, place is clean, ingredients are standard but fresh. No surprises, but a good healthy option if you are in the area. Large bowl comes with 4 scoops of protein and unlimited toppings. Avocado is $1 extra, pretty typical of all poke spots. Comes with a nice cup of miso soup- bonus!"
"I mean... it was just okay. I was bummed because I wanted to walk in here and really love it! The girl behind the counter was dry, no enthusiasm whatsoever. When I asked about how the hot Cheetos roll were. She looked at me with a blah face and said "I don't know. I don't eat hot cheetos." A good host would say, not sure but it's a big hit here... or something. I guess I was just expecting much. Honestly, it's just okay to me. It's a hole in the wall type of location. Definitely nothing fancy. Just a place to pick up food from. I most likely will not be back just because I feel I can spend $60 at a better location with a bit more ambiance but it was worth the try... definitely not what our fellow yelpers reviewed though. 5 star? I'd say no"
"Wow! Excellent new poke place! I ordered the make your own salmon bowl, the salmon was super fresh, the toppings were plentiful, and it was fairly priced! I will be a regular here!"
"Clean shop and friendly owner! Stopped by here for the first time and got a small poke bowl (includes two scoops of protein). The fish seemed fresh and there were plenty of topping options. Majority of the toppings are similar to other poke places, but I did notice they have shaved brussels sprouts, which is something you don't typically see. My poke bowl breakdown:- Base: Combo (rice + greens)- Protein: 1 scoop salmon, 1 scoop Hawaiian tuna- Sauce: Koibito House + Citrus Ponzu- Toppings: edamame, cucumber, green onion, ginger, masago, cilantro, seaweed salad, crab mix- Dry toppings: furikake, fried onionsI got a small bowl, which looked pretty small at first, but once you eat everything, it's actually very filling! Will be back :)"
"Miso on tap? Count me in. This small poke joint is serving up bowls and burritos of your favorite raw fish. I stopped by for dinner and boba with some girl friends during my most recent visit to Phoenix. The concept is similar to Chipolte, where you walk a line and pick the ingredients to build your perfect meal. They have a variety of raw fish, chicken, crab, seaweed salad, veggies, fruicrunchy toppers. I ended up going with a poke burrito. This seaweed and rice wrap was filled with crab, chicken, edamame, avocado, carrots, and so much more. Topped off with their spicy mayo and house sauce. The meal was so delicious that I'd order it all over again. I also loved that they had boba options and ice cream macarons if you're looking to indulge in a sweet treat. Eating poke in a burrito is truly a life changing experience."

Nice & new facility located in the the new The order: salmon & ahi tuna poke saladThe good:The food is standard and you can customize your own bowl The bad:Most of the stuff here is pretty much your standard poke joint, so I think there not much creatively put into the restaurant.

Great service, and yummy food. Went there twice and the food and service was consistent. The poke bowl was the best I've had in AZ so far.

Had the fish tacos on a follow up visit and they were excellent, loved the mango salsa and the two tacos were more than enough food.

LOVE this place! The shop is located at the end of the street near a parking lot. There usually isn't much parking so I more often order delivery to avoid the hassle but I thought I'd pop in. The store is pretty small with a few seats but it mostly looks like a grab and go situation. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The stations looked clean and well kept. I usually stick with the salmon but the tofu is always good to! I love the freshness and the taste of sushi without actually being sushi. Love this place definitely coming back.

Space is clean. Menu is simple and clear cut. Thrilled to see grilled chicken and salmon bowls on the menu! Great for anyone who does not eat raw fish. Those bowls are a lot like teriyaki bowls. Staff are sweet and explain the ingredients well. Came in during grand opening specials weekend. We lucked out with nice smiles, yummy coffee macaron icecream and clean table tops for dine ins. I asked for a small cup of chili oil to add to the bowl for an extra kick. Appreciated the staff who recommended their personal favorites and recommendations for the next time. We would definitely come back for more!

We went there for sushi. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll and the crunchy onion California rolls which we had them make spicy with the spicy mayo. The owner and chef gave us some the spicy salmon sushi ball to try. It was his creation and it was absolutely spectacular. As a matter of fact they brought us a few things to try. He gave us each a single tuna roll to try. It was one of the best rolls I have ever had. The tuna melted in your mouth. Bottom line I would have no problem bringing a first time poke or sushi experiencer here. You could tell it was absolutely fresh. The owner gave us some fruit cheesecake to try also. It was a perfect hint of lemon and was such a delicious cap to the meal. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants poke or sushi or someone who has never had it but wants a good place to try it for the first time. The quality was wonderful the chef was absolutely knowledgeable and kind. I would give it 5 more stars if I could. The restaurant itself was perfect. Not too large and not too small. Very clean and the perfect place for lunch or dinner. The offerings were reasonably priced especially considering the quality and freshness. Next time I will be having the tuna poke! Give this place a chance. It's a gem.

I only had 20 mins before starting my volunteer shift on Mill Avenue. My friend and I stopped in this spot because it was close. I got a poke burrito and she got a bowl. The food was excellent, the person who helped us was kind, patient and made great suggestions. I will definitely make plans to go back when I have another shift on that street.

The food is so delicious and fresh, I order every Friday! I normally get the poke bowl, onigiri or one of the rolls depending on what I'm feeling that day. I just tried the Chashu (pork belly) bowl today and it was amazing! Definitely going to be getting more of that one!

"I enjoy going to the old town Scottsdale location. But, this location seemed to skimp more of the toppings. I asked for extra rice and was only given a tiny bit more. My non-fish eating, friend really enjoyed the fresh grilled teriyaki chicken breast on rice bowl for $10. It was his first time at a poke restaurant, but loves Panda Express and Chinese food. The interior is basic fast casual dining with TVs playing fail videos."
"I've been to Chula Seafood a couple of times and everything has been delicious. This past visit I got a dozen of raw oysters and the clam chowder and WOW the oysters were some of the freshest I've had in Arizona and the clam chowder was hearty, creamy, and so flavorful. This will be my go to order from now on. They have a variety of canned beer and wine. Happy hour is all day Sundays, and Monday through Saturday from 3pm to 5pm. The south Scottsdale location is an unassuming spot with plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall. They also sell seafood to go by the pound. Highly recommend this spot!"
"Dropped by to try a poke bowl here this morning. Store was clean and organized. Ample parking. Greeted immediately by staff member. He was friendly and was generous on servings which I appreciated. I ordered a two protein poke bowl and it was delicious. Taking a star off due to the flimsy container and avocado at the bar looking like it's seen better days (esp for 10:45am). I would come here again!"
"As someone who lived right next to the ocean for 5 years, I can be harsh on fish quality here in the desert. Lomi Poki is the BEST Poki I've had in the entire state of Arizona. Yeah, I said it. It's true.We got takeout tonight and ordered online not knowing what to expect but the quality and fresh ingredients absolutely blew me away. The fish was phenomenal and did not disappoint. My favorite thing about this place was the myriad of toppings, protein, and sauce options. It was the perfect amount of food for me and the prices seemed totally reasonable given the cost of fish these days. When picking up, the process was easy and the staff was kind & efficient. I will definitely be going back...repeatedly. And I will be trying new things every time since they have the variety for that! Sooo tasty."
"Their kids meal is a great size for adult lunch and their fish quality is fantastic but the real winner here is the staff. A lovely young man did my order today at around 2:30pm and he was the kindest worker ever. Genuinely happy and smiley and really put me in a good mood. I work in the same complex and he gave me a free drink! Overall 10/10 experience."
"Like a desert oasis full of sparkling spring water welcoming you in when you are parched, Mom's Sushi and Poke is there for you.Like a bright light in a night sky full of eerie darkness when you are lonely, cold, and afraid, Mom's Sushi and Poke is there for you.Like a fine suit heavily discounted and placed on the bargain rack ready for you to score that deal, Mom's Sushi and Poke is there for you.Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that Mom's Sushi and Poke is there for you when you're hungry and craving a delish poke bowl on the far West side of the Valley! Good prices, great service, and superb fresh ingredients! Check them out when in the area!Overall rating:*****FIVE STARS*****Gluten-free rating:*****FIVE STARS*****"
"They are always so friendly to me! I enjoy the food soooo much, it's VERY fresh! I will always come back"
"My little girls and I stopped by to try Koibito Poke today. Anthony greeted us and helped me pick out my poke bowl ingredients. We bought one medium bowl and one mochi. Everything was delicious. My girls wolfed down the poke bowl. My 6 year old daughter is a crab salad critic and she rates this place haha Anthony was very attentive, friendly and provided excellent customer service. He's an asset to this venue! We'll be back! Highly recommend!"
"These folks are so nice! They love our daughters too which is fun to watch. This fast casual spot is very inviting and family friendly. Ordering is easy to do and the food comes out pretty quick, especially the sushi. We had shrimp and veggie tempura, poke bowl, sushi burrito and a Las Vegas roll. Everything was amazing. I will definitely be back to try other delicious menu options."
"I ordered a veggie and avocado roll and both were delicious. It's hard to find vegan rolls so I appreciated what was on the menu! Unfortunately, the service was not great. I asked for eel and spicy mayo sauce and the lady who was making the rolls sighed as if I was inconveniencing her. I told her just the eel sauce was fine and she said "thanks you" with a sigh of relief. Because this location is in the mall, I found it tables to be clean and there was plenty of seating. The food was good but if I was met with the same customer service, it's easy enough to find a different poke restaurant."
"This was such an excellent place. The poke bowl's were fresh, and amazing and the wait staff was also really friendly. Highly recommend. *This review has been pending since Dec 2020. Not sure why it didn't post."
"Arizona: A wonderful landlocked state known for sushi and Hawaiian food.Isn't that what you were thinking? ;)Pacific Rim & Sushi started off as a food truck and has since moved into this great brick and mortar. The chef grew up on the island of Kauai, so hey, that has to count for something, right? On the first visit, we ordered the $16 Loco Moco and $15 Chicken Katsu. The loco moco was salty, but the chicken katsu was really juicy. Both had portion sizes that were more than generous. The mac salad isn't my favorite, and if you know me, I'm one to usually get no rice and all mac salad, but here, I say keep the rice! It helps cut the sodium level of the brown gravy on the loco moco. What a great spot and some good eats. I'll be back again to try more of the menu."
"Made my own salmon bowl with the works. This is my second time and the service is always friendly. Ingredients are fresh and delicious. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Great spot, recommend."
"Fresh, delicious sushi burritos. Cheery staff. Cute Space.Tried the Build your own with two proteins ($13.50) and Chicken Karaage Burrito ($14.50).Only nit: take the bulgogi burrito off the menu because I wanted that and it wasn't offered anymore lol."
"Food seemed kind of soft and mushy. And fish tasted funny- not fresh. Ordered doordash. Like 45 min. Didnt trust fish because tasted wrong. Threw it out."
"Talk about a super cute and friendly place! The Boba drinks were a reasonable price though there wasn't much Boba at all. I picked up some poke bowls for the girls. It was fun as they got to pick out their ingredients. Unfortunately after finishing them up they were still hungry. They have been eating like teenage boys lately. I don't know if the portions were extra small because they were little girls, but we paid for a normal bowl. It is a great place for a light bite to eat, but if you eat like our girls do you may still be left hungry. We did end up stopping for a second meal for them elsewhere. Everything looked fresh."
"Pokiluv is a really cool new Tempe restaurant in the office center just across the bridge over the Salt River on the northside. It has a nice upscale vibe, cool furniture(sort of a retro Jetsons homage), a nice beer wine bar with a great sushi bowl buffet. I loaded my custom bowl with ahi & marinated tuna, salmon, crab, corn, avocado, brown rice with wasabi royu sauce. Unlike many poke places my bowl had a generous amount of proteins for under $15 is a great deal for any quality poke bowl place(and I've been to quite a few in the California meccas of LA & San Diego). Service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable from GM Andy-5 stars. My shrimp tempura on the side was hot & delicious.Highly recommended best Poke Bowl I've had in Tempe AZ in 2022."
"Delicious. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. Living in Seattle for over a dozen years, you get accustomed to sushi being EVERYWHERE. Immediately greeted by employees. Loved the paper menu and filled in our order. Reasonably priced. We both opted to try the purple rice in our meals. (I'd never had it before) it was fun and tasty. The store is clean, and music isn't too loud. LOVED the iced water dispenser, with cups for self-service. Bringing our tumblers next time. Each thing we ordered was DELICIOUS and we will definitely return. Next trip to grandma"
