"Placed an order for pick-up while we were in the area. Great gluten-free pizza here! SiSi helped us, and she was awesome. Not just because we had service with a smile, but because she took the time to answer questions about ingredients, and even talked to the staff in back to get answers. If you are gluten-free because of celiac disease or an allergy, let them know. They will bake it in a separate oven and make sure to use a clean pizza cutter. If you just order gluten-free without specifying allergy, it will be baked with all the other pizzas. Also, they cannot guarantee cross contamination. Not many places do.Since April, they have officially had a full bar! Specialty cocktails, local craft beers including 4 Pigs, and Greenwood. A nice wine list, also offering some local brands, italian etc.. They rotate both! It is warmer than most places on a hot day in the early afternoon. Not too bad. Love that they have a drive-thru, though I haven't taken advantage of it yet. They have always been busy, yet still attentive, super friendly, and fast every visit. Our gluten-free cheese pizzas were great. They have the loose flour at the bottom of the pizza which makes it taste like a traditional pizza. I was assured it was just rice flour. The crust is so yummy, that it makes Federal one of our favorite local pizza places. Definitely tastes best fresh! Yummy food, great service every time makes Federal's a go-to place we can't pass when in the area."

"LGO is a solid spot! I've been here twice now, and loved my order the first time that I ordered it again on my second visit. It was the "I love you Brooklyn" which is smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, tomato, red onion, and mayo on an English muffin. A little messy to eat, but delicious and filling! I've also taken sushi and a chocolate chip cookie to-go. I was pleasantly surprised by the sushi and would order it again! Although I love the market and shop, I'm not a fan of the setup. It's not the most efficient. Parking is a bit limited and challenging during peak times. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"If you know me, then you know I'm a caprese aficionado. Always looking for a great Caprese, which led me to trying this location as one of my besties mentioned this location closer to their house. We stopped in on a busy Saturday night after booking a reservation online same day. They quickly got us seated though arriving early for our reservation, and I was very grateful for that! Loved the front area for the small wait we did have. To start things off, we went with the Caprese which was beautifully plated and one of the better Caprese dishes I've had recently. It's priced at $14 which seemed fairly reasonable for the size of the tomato and mozzarella slices. Also, to kick start the meal I ordered the cranberry pomegranate mule which was refreshing and delicious! Perfect balance of flavors. For my entree, I went with the mushroom risotto which was amazing! It had great flavor and I felt was a good portion size for the price point of $20. Though it did have a random pat of unmelted butter in the corner which was slightly off-putting. Easily could have been oversight by the kitchen. When paying our bill, the pen did explode on my hand and made a big mess. Though washing in the restroom didn't remove fully, and took a couple days to fully dissipate. Not the way I would want to end the evening, and hope the establishment invests in better pens in the future. Though this left a damper on the evening, this was a solid experience and great tasting dishes."

"When we lived in Phoenix, we went to Pomo in downtown Phoenix quite often. When we moved to Scottsdale, we did not come here for food for many years. We did stop by a few times for gelato. Finally we made it back here during one of the busiest weekend. Luckily the bar seating is open on first-come first-served basis. We got the good spot to watch the sport games and enjoy bartender making all wonderful looking (and of course delicious) drinks. The pasta here is the best! Taste like freshly homemade pasta from their family kitchen. The food came out fast and tasty. The dessert options are huge and the gelato are exceptionally good."

"We have been trying to incorporate more vegan and non dairy items into our diet due to hubs needing to keep that cholesterol lower. This place popped up with awesome reviews for their vegan offerings. This place smelled so good walking in. Like straight garlic and I love that. We put in an order over the phone and it was ready within a minute or 2 of arriving. The staff was friendly and offered us a drink while we waited. Now, the food. We have never had a fully vegan pizza and didn't know what to expect. We were happily surprised it was delicious!! No one really cared for the "pepperoni" but me. The cheese was melty and gooey and the bottom of the crust was not soggy which we like a crispy crust! They do not skimp on the toppings. The angel bites we got for dessert were super good too! I will add the cheese gets a little weird when cooled and reheated so we will definitely dine in next time and try the vegan ziti. Overall, an awesome experience and food was great!!"

"Delicious pizza and great wings!I was having a rough day at work so I wanted to grab something fast for dinner to refuel and keep grinding.We got the half and half 12 inch Al pastor and carne asada pizza and a half dozen order of wings.Wings were crispy and came with your choice of dipping sauce and I opted for the cucumber ranch.The pizza was the star though! The Al pastor was my favorite with grilled pineapple and porky notes playing delightfully off of each other. The carne asada was no slouch as well with so many flavors. Delicious salsa and garlic combined with carne asada on a perfectly cooked crust. Staff was super friendly and it's clear they care about the quality of their food as everything is made fresh. Eat here! You'll def leave with a smile on your face (now I want a 12 inch Al pastor for myself)"

"OMG! My nephew and his girlfriend took me to this restaurant for my birthday. My first choice restaurant was completely booked and i honestly was bummed and wasn't looking forward to having to go to another spot.This place is located in a little plaza. It is super quaint and small. Our server was friendly and attentive. We received complimentary bread with this amazing tomato dip. We ordered calamari as our appetizer. Tasty!For my main course, I had Shrimp Scampi with Angel hair pasta paired with a glass of Moscato (my favorite sweet wine). Meal was delicious and a generous portion size. My nephew ordered the chicken parm and his girlfriend had the bolognese. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything I ate here was bursting with flavor!"

"I've been wanting to visit Baci Italian Bistro for some time now. As a native from Chicago, I've been spoiled by the culinary scene in one of the best cities in the country known for their gastronomy. Last week I had the pleasure to visit Baci and man it brought me back to the quality and service of some of my favorite Italian restaurants back home!We started off with the Bruschetta and the Fried Calamari. I am still buzzing over that Bruschetta! The way those flavors marinated on top of that warm baguette blew me away. For our entrees my wife ordered the special which had Chicken, Linguine and this amazing white sauce. I ordered the Chicken Limone and I really enjoyed it. It was very lemon-y so if you aren't a big fan of strong lemon flavors then I would say to steer clear of this dish. For the kids we got Chicken Alfredo (what I call the basic white girl dish) and Mozzarella Sticks. These were also excellent.I will just say that the left overs the following evening were just as good! Also, I cant say enough about the service and the ambience of the restaurant. Our server Diana was very knowledgeable on the daily specials and gave us very good feedback on the questions we had. Therefore, in the famous words of Julian Potter in My Best Friends Wedding - "I am writing it up as... inventive and confident".Honestly, if you haven't yet, go check out Baci Italian Bistro. Amazing food, classy environment and phenomenal service with a friendly wait staff."

"For months, my friend has been mentioning this place near her house to try one night. The stars finally aligned for me to try this location this month, and I'm glad I did! Immediately upon entering we were greeted and noticed we came at an off time, so there was plenty of seating. The dining area would slowly fill up as we dined, but with how fairly spacious this place is, it still felt fairly intimate and private. My friend raved on and on about the Fried Eggplant ($13.25), so that was a must to start the meal! It was likely the best tasting eggplant I've ever had, and I can easily see just dining in to have this and being content. It is so crispy, delicious, and packed full of flavor! Also for a starter, we had the house bread ($8.25) which was also delicious and fresh out of the oven. Though the Fried Eggplant was a clear winner if you only wanted to get one appetizer to start. As for entrees, I was torn between pasta or pizza. Both I have heard are fantastic, so it made for a difficult decision. Ultimately, I decided to go with an old standby favorite of mine - Cacio e Pepe ($16.75). Overall, it had really good flavor but wasn't my favorite comparing to other locations I've had it. Though still a very good pasta! I just might try another pasta dish or a pizza when we return. Because yes, we will be back here! If you are in the area, even if just looking for a glass of wine and a small bite - this is your destination! Want something heavier, they have you covered! Be sure to check this great place out as I'm sure you won't be disappointed."

"Came here for dinner after visiting the Cozy Claw next door, and soooo glad we did! The food was awesome, everything tasted great, we got the margherita pizza, eggplant hero, and garlic knots. "Wow! What an excellent dining experience! We had reservations for two, and had the pleasure of being served by Mike tonight for dinner. Starting off with their orange and hazelnut old-fashioned was an experience all in itself, and worth my trip out there! For dinner I had the chicken martini, which could not have been prepared any more decadent than it was. The food tasted great, the environment here is friendly, welcoming, and classy. We somehow managed to enjoy a piece of their amazing chocolate cake for dessert, before calling it a night. I will absolutely be back to enjoy more of their famous pasta options!"

"Having traveled to Italy and very in step with good Italian food, I was very happy with this visit here with a friend colleague.The place is gorgeous and when we arrived for dinner at 6:45pm, the place was swarming with lot of people! That's a good sign.We made reservations and were seated in a booth in the middle of the restaurant. This place is huge and also with a nice bar area and big TVs.We had a lovely waiter and my dining mate was interested in a glass of wine and since it's the summer, we went with a sparkling rose and my friend wanted a new bottle opened. Sparkling rose was great!We both also opted for the branzino and that was just delicious, reminded me of the summer I was in Sardinia and plenty of meals I had in NYC.There was a squid ink pasta on the menu and I would've loved to try that and I'll be back to have that next time.What was the cherry on top of this dining experience was the tiramisu. I'm not a fan of the typical tiramisu but this was made more like a pudding and that worked really for me! Nello's was more upscale than I expected and had a welcoming staff and bar. The menu is on the simple side but it works and the pizza was very good. Nello's is full service and had a decent size dining room.I recommend the garlic bread bruschetta and pan style pizza. We are not talking a Chicago style pan pizza and it was actually on the lighter side with more crust. The service was very good and while it was upscale there were a few televisions on to catch the end of Sunday football.Best of all, prices were very reasonable! I will definitely be going back to try some of the other pizza and appetizer options."

Our server was very attentive even with multiple tables, and the band being quite loud right next to our booth. They even had great recommendations and helped us decide on what to order. I'm happy to say the caprese was amazing, and I really enjoyed the pasta dish we ordered as well. The pizza flavor wasn't my favorite, but it was still really good! I know Chelsey said it was great as leftovers. Next time, we will try a different flavor as the crust/sauce was amazing! All in all, we definitely see us coming back!"

I finally made it in on Saturday night and I brought along my sister and friend.We were quickly greeted as we walked in and told to pick a table. We sat down and the friendly server brought us the menus. She gave us a few minutes to look them over and we were finally ready to order. We ordered:One large "the works" pizzaOne order of 6 boneless wingsOne PepsiOne rasberry iced teaThe wings were brought out first and they were good. They were the perfect hot level and they were breaded perfectly to where we could see that there was actually chicken inside. The pizza was then brought out right as we finished our wings. It came out very hot and it was cooked perfectly as it had a nice crunch to it. The sausage was delicious and the onions were yummy. The slices are big! We had two left over and they still tasted great the next day. Service was great throughout our meal and our server was friendly. They were pretty busy the entire time we were there and most people had to go orders. The inside was clean and the mural / pictures they have up on the walls were fun to look at. The main doors to come in are pretty cool as it is a picture of a subway."

"This was my first time into Salerno's even though I have heard many recommendations over the years. The restaurant has a very casual feel to it. You walk up to order your food/drink and are given a number for your table. Once your order is ready, it is delivered to your table. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful! The entrees are served with a dinner salad - your choice of romaine, iceberg or spring mix. The Italian dressing was perfect to dress the salad served with shredded carrots and croutons. We ordered a caprese salad to start which was fresh and perfectly seasoned. I ordered eggplant Parmesan as my entree and cheese ravioli for my cousin. You can tell the marinara is house made and is one of the best I've had in a restaurant setting (I typically don't like marinara). Every part of our meal was delivered quickly and at the proper temperatures. My eggplant Parmesan was still crisp even having marinara placed on top of it, I was impressed by the fry. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and would love to come back myself."

"During a random search for a meatball sandwich, I found this little hole in the wall. I did not know so much history from a small sub sandwich pizza shop name, McGurkee's.Once you step in, you can smell the sesame being toasted on bread. I personally tried the meatball Italian sandwich. The texture of the bread was crunchy and just right with the taste of sesame seeds. The meatballs were soft inside and nice cooked outside layer with warm battered pizza sauce. The price for the sandwich ran about $10 for a 6 inch. Without planning lunch I got to experience a little bit of Phoenix history and a good tasty meatball Italian sandwich."

It's hard to come here and not order the whole menu or take home a whole shopping cart of ingredients or sweets! The go to is easy - The Italian Combo Sub! The bread is so fresh and it's the perfectly sliced and portioned sun of meats, veggies and condiments. I've had it picked up for lunch and fresh - both are exceptional. My biggest pet peeve with subs is sogginess - nothing to worry about here if you can't dine in. They also serve Pizza which is also, guess, so good! It tastes lite and fresh... and like I can eat a whole one by myself and still feel perfectly okay. The owner is so grateful and kind. I waited my whole pregnancy for an Italian sub and wanted to come here! He was very appreciative and just speaks to the hospitality of this location. Please try and support this amazing spot! One of my PHX favorites!!!"
