So to finish off our trip in AZ, we decided to munch on some Japanese food and Cherryblossom came up.Tekka Don - tuna sashimi bowl with sushi rice. It wasn't the best tuna sashimi bowl I had but it was still good. I was hoping for warmer sushi rice.Kitsune udon - very delicious udon and soup. It definitely hits the spot on a cool day.Service: pretty good and fast considering how busy it was."

Gretel Y. "My son and I visited on a particularly cold day in January. Craving warmth and pho, we decided to check out Pho Chandler. So many people had the same idea because there was a line outside. We had originally planned on dining in, but as soon as I saw the amount of people waiting, I decided to order to-go.We were greeted as soon as we entered. The space is cozy and ample seating. I ordered the Gỏi Cuốn (spring rolls), $6.95, Phở Hải Sản (seafood pho), $17.50 and my son ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt (house pho), $14.50. It was ready within 20 minutes. We requested shrimp only in our spring rolls. It was fresh and the accompanying peanut sauce was rich, creamy, and delicious. My pho came with snow crab, shrimp, and scallop with rice noodle. The broth was flavorful and I appreciated the amount of protein it came with. It was a solid pho! My son's came with house special combination of sliced eye round steak, well done-brisket well-done flank, soft tendon, and trip and beef meatball with rice noodle. He, too enjoyed his pho. Would order from Pho Chandler again!"

Justin L. "Location: Plaza on the northeast corner of Baseline Road and S 48th Street. Close to Fry's grocery store and a donut shop. Ample parking available. Wait: It was a busy Friday night, we were seated in about 15 minutes. But it took longer for the food to arrive, I think they were prioritizing takeout orders. Lots of patrons sitting around and not eating. Ambiance: Dim lighting with dark ceiling, floors and furniture. Marble tables with a mix of chairs, wall benches, and wooden booths with minimal back support. Menu: Standard Thai fare. Various appetizers, curries, soups, salads, fried rice, stir fried entrees, and noodles. A few dessert items like ice cream, mango sticky rice, and fried banana. Chicken Skewers (satay) - Six small and skinny pieces. Some were a little fatty, all were not grilled long enough. Drowning in sauce that should have been served on the side. Beef Pad See Ew - Didn't have much soy sauce flavor, kind of bland. Meat and noodle consistency was fine. I understand why they use broccoli instead of gai lan (Chinese broccoli), but it's out of place with the rest of the dish. Chicken Fried Rice - Some grains were hard to chew, protein was tender at the very least Complimentary Sorbet - Sweet and tangy Verdict: Entirely forgettable experience"

Betty L. "I like the condiment bar. The wait can be quite long since this is a popular place. There are lots of hot pot places opening up these days. Perhaps this may make the wait less due to people going to other places. At a hot pot place you cook your own food in boiling broth at your table. They have a few different options on the menu for your broth. You can't change it once selected at the beginning of the meal. You get your own veggies at a station in the center of the restaurant. They bring you thinly cut meats from the back. A lot of it is fatty but it makes the food taste so good and soft. I like that I can mix my own dipping sauces from a station in the center of the restaurant. This adds more flavor to the meal. Otherwise I think it is bland. The staff is patient and fairly quick. It can sometimes be really loud when the restaurant is full of people."

Good came out rather fast as well. Jennifer H. "I've been wanting to try Pyro for awhile. From the photos and Reels, I've seen it looked beautiful inside and outside on the patio, and seeing it in person, it did not disappoint. I was worried about parking since they said street parking available, and usually that's limited but there's a parking garage diagonal from it which made it really easy. The service is on point. Never rushed. Always courteous. My friend called the restaurant beforehand to tell them it was my birthday two weeks ago and they still honored and celebrated it by offering a complimentary dessert, the Ube panna cotta. I recently developed an allergy to mango so instead of the mango lassi, they substituted one of their homemade ice creams that still complemented the dessert well!We sampled and shared several menu items. We started with the steak tartare served with little cuts of bread and the Hearth beets. One was a hearty appetizer while the other a light airy treat. Both were delicious! At the very beginning of the meal, the staff told us that anything off of the Hearth menu would take awhile so they wanted to put that order in from the start. From reading other reviews, people had complained of food taking too long, but if they tell you beforehand like they told us, I don't see the problem. It gave us more time to enjoy each other's company and drinks, hehe. The wait was worthwhile! The New York bone in strip was cooked to perfection. Loved the salty chunks and seasoning on top and the unique Asian twist of Bernaise sauce along with the "meat juices" served with the steak married a bunch of complimenting flavors. The whole Branzino wasn't as big as we expected, but it packed a lot of flavor in its white tender meat. We really enjoyed that but glad we ordered other food to add to the balance. The crab noodles surprisingly was one of my favorite dishes. I do love crab so much, but it was just the right amount of pasta mixed in, buttery, rich and tasty! We also ordered the short rib fried rice because we wanted to try it too and glad that we did!The bathroom was interesting. My husband could have sworn that the audiobook of the "Art of War" by Sun Tzu was playing in the background as you "took care of business." On the way there, if you looked at the wall, there were set in small vintage pin ball looking machines. There was a lot of detail every where if you took a moment to look around. Pyro is worth visiting. It's definitely an experience and lovely environment for celebrating a special occasion and I can see also a fun place to enjoy happy "Social Hour.""

Lots of seating inside and everything looked clean and inviting. The plates are definitely shareable, but we figured that out after ordering. I got the Biang Biang Noodles with Pork and it was really good! Nice and spicy with thick slices of jalapeño. My friends ordered other entrees that I tasted and liked them. Since I was in a time crunch I had to make sure the food would be ready. They had it readily prepared for me to eat. I got the hot stone bbq ribeye. I love a hot and sizzling plate. I'm not sure but when I had it for my dine in option.. I was hoping to hear the food crackle and pop. But surprisingly it did not get that effect. I ate the steak that once cut into pieces with onion and bell peppers. It was more like a peppered steak dish. It was mediocre, but I'm assuming it would've been as bomb dot com if they had put it hot on the platter and kept the ribeye steak intact and cooked to our liking. I got the shrimp spring roll, it was rolled thick. It helped make me feel full. I appreciate the customer service at this restaurant. I think they can improve the dated interior. I hope they can better their food. But for anyone in the surprise area who doesn't know pho and vietnamese food like I do, the price is a good options for a quick grab and go."

Kristen L. "When I went inside, there were only a couple of people sitting at the tables. It was pretty quiet in there. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small. There didn't seem to be a lot of seating. When you first enter, you come across the counter with a cash register on it, and the sun is shining brightly since the restaurant faces west. The employees were in the back when I first arrived. I was able to pick up my food quickly. I had the tom yum fried rice and pad Thai. The Tom Yum fried rice has a little bit of Tom Yum flavor. I was expecting it to be more flavorful. I have been to another Thai restaurant where their tom yum fried rice was packed for flavor, but was maybe too salty. The food came out hot. I like that the food came out hot. I also like that they had black containers that were microwave safe as opposed to Styrofoam containers. This means that they can handle the heat. When I first had the Tom Yum fried rice, I could taste the Tom Yum flavor. After tasting the pad Thai, I couldn't taste the tom yum flavor in the rice. The pad thai was also a little light on flavor as well. They didn't ask me how spicy I wanted my meal. My meal ended up being not spicy at all. I usually get at least a mild or medium spice level. The parking lot was interesting because you have to enter it by going north on rural and making a right into the parking lot or heading south on rural and making a left into the parking lot because the parking lot right in front of them is a one-way only parking lot. I have been here before and I had really liked their Tom yum soup. I'm not sure if they changed ownership since the last time I visited."
