"It's been a few years since I've been here, because I had moved but recently came back to the area. Sunnyside was one of my favourite places for breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, when I cam back to this location, the service we received was quite awful. There may have only been on server on a weekday morning, but initially there were only three tables occupied at the time we were making our order. The server misinterpreted our order and only brought us a single side item instead of the meal with the side we asked for. Without checking on us, the server then just gave us the bill. We noticed the bill only had one item, so we waited for him to come back and pointed out that we actually ordered a meal. The server was not apologetic and instead insinuated it was our fault for misleading him. When the meal finally came up, he did not bring us any extra plates to help us share, which we did specify we were going to do when we ordered both the first and second time we placed the order. Our server also never bothered to come back and offer us an extra plate while we were eating and clearly having trouble over one plate. We were so put off but the poor service that we did not want to trouble our server more by asking for additional plates. It seemed like every request we made was met with a literal sigh. The food and coffee were admittedly very good, so props to kitchen for that, but the service that day was appalling. We still tried to be friendly, but our server still could not give us the time of day."

"The Street has always been one of my go-to's for boba. They have a huge menu and no matter what I get, it's always amazing. Their Taro Mike Tea, Thai Tea, and Chai all with boba are fantastic. Perfectly sweet and full of flavor, the chai isn't wonderfully spiced, and their boba is always just right, never too chewy or hard. Their strawberry green tea is also amazing!! Their shaved iced is also HUGE and sooo refreshing. The inside/decor is pretty cool too, graffiti and street art inspired, you can add your own contributions to the walls if you feel so inclined (just leave the furniture alone). It's kinda neat to see new stickers and drawings each time I stop in. Lastly, the service is outstanding. I've gone when it's super slow and also during the rush and I've never been overlooked or rushed, if I'm feeling something new, they always have good recommendations."

Yasss, queens!Boba Tea House was once *THE SPOT* for all boba tea lovers. Hey, it was the early 2000s and we didn't get the bubble tea boom yet that has taken over the past few years. Boba Tea House came in and brought us some joy after Eba (the OG boba spot) left us. I only ever get one thing here: Lavender milk tea with egg pudding. It's always solid but the past couple of times, I've ventured out and tried the brulee coffee and their ube coffee. Their coffee is solid as well. Get a little snack of popcorn chicken and you won't be disappointed.While still a great spot that's an absolute treat after grocery shopping at Lee Lee's or after getting dim sum at Phoenix Palace in the same plaza, I must confess that there are other boba spots in time I'd rather go to. Nonetheless, I still have much love for one of our oldest bubble tea spots in town!"

"Sumo Snow @sumosnow Boba Tea & Desserts in Surprise is so good for a cold drink and sweet treat on a hot day like today!! I've been eyeing this cute dessert shop and finally made it in for my first ever Korean Corn Dog! I have no regrets- my Potato Beef Dog was amazinggggg! These dogs are savory and sweet with a crisp shell of delicious cornmeal batter studded with French fry chunks and sprinkled with sugar. The flavor of the beef dog is very good too. This was such a good treat. I also got an Oat Dragonfruit Matcha that was so creamy and sweet with the matcha earthy and smooth. My kids wanted the Chipotle Beef Dog with hot sauce, the Horchata Frappe, and the Flaming Dragon Slushee. I took my food to go but there is a picture window bar seating area and tables and chairs inside and outside the shop. There are also restrooms. I loved their collection of cute Japanese make-at-home dessert boxes and Pocky sticks available for purchase as well. I'm so happy we're nearby. There are several more teas I need to try here. Service was very good here."

"Wow Wow is such a fun place. We love taking our kids here for the delicious lemonades and great ambiance. My kids love watching their big screen TV with beautiful pictures and videos of places in Hawaii. Sometimes they play the wooden tic tac toe while we wait for our drinks. And we love the surfboard and greenery. The lemonades are the main reason we come and they also taste delicious and fresh. Our favorites are the Strawberry Pineapple, the Blue Hawaii, the Mango Pineapple, and the Lava Flow. It's a fun place to hang out and feels nice and clean."

I got a half dozen and a ginger milk tea boba.All the donuts were really good! They were super soft and pillowy. The tea was decent for a powder mix, you could taste a bit of the ginger flavor and the boba was super soft. There is one table outside for seating and a few tables inside. If you're in the area craving donuts this is a great spot to go to."

I started using the app Too Good to Go, where businesses offer their end of day goods at a discounted price. Less food waste is always a good thing! I reserved my "bag" and headed over on a Wednesday afternoon. The gentleman ringing me up was friendly and efficient as I showed him my order on the app and he filled a box with a dozen assorted donuts.The selection was great and I enjoyed a few flavors including raspberry jelly, chocolate sprinkle, coconut, cinnamon roll, and cinnamon crumb. They were good next day as well. I definitely recommend this spot for tasty donuts and hope to be back and try different flavors."

Super clean establishment with so many items that sounded so good to choose from. We grabbed a menu so we could stop by for lunch after our appointment. They had to be a great spot seeing the sign people loved them on Yelp right? Thr parking lot gets busy. The service was super friendly and food came fast! We ordered a few salads and smoothies. Everything was delicious. The chicken and dressing were so yummy. Even my mom was impressed and she is picky. The drinks were so yummy. Our meals were satisfying and filled our tummies. We will definitely be back!"

"We were in the area and decided to stop at a random parking lot that seemed to have a "juice place". What luck that it was Paradise Juice!We got a strawberry mix smoothie, a blueberry mix smoothie, and a chocolate chip muffin. Our first sip of the smoothie was literally a "whoa this is ridiculously good!" Smoothies are rich, fruity, and excellent. I don't know how the muffin was but based on my daughter wolfing it down and not letting me try it, I'd have to say it's a winner too!I love smoothie places like these, it puts those large smoothie chains to shame. So much better at places like this! They had a sign on the side that said "thanks for 20 years" which shows they've been around a long time in the neighborhood.I wish I lived closer to this place!"

"I moved next to downtown Mesa not too long ago and just recently made time to explore the area. Jarrod's Coffee, Tea & Gallery is in the heart of downtown Mesa near a light rail stop. I have only been here once years back. Jarrod's is more than a coffeeshop. They display and sell artwork, vintage jewelry and crafts from local artists and have live music and poetry nights. They also have a monthly cannabis membership. You can check out their event schedule on their website. Jarrods has a nice variety of coffee drinks, teas, and Italian Sodas on their menu. They also bake all their pasties in house. I picked up a couple goodies to eat over the weekend along with some drinks. Jarrod's is a great spot to hang out and do some networking or to just chill and listen to some live music. The staff was very welcoming as well.Jarrod's Coffee has recently fallen on hard times due to inflation, rising rent and theft from a former employee. The community has been great in raising funds to help them out. Check out their GoFundMe page and help support a great local business."

"Okay this review update is to help my future self! Yes we conquered yet again. We are that crazy to drive all the way from Surprise to get a salad from here! One of mine and my mom's favorite places to go!Customer service was awesome once again. You can see they really try hard. We realized after this second visit it is their sweet tasting balsamic vinegar dressing that makes their salads the bomb! So, note to self: arugula salad with balsamic dressing for me, for mom: cobb salad minus the corn and also balsamic dressing! It was funny to see as we too joined in on the adventure with many others picking up salads on how to get our salads by dropping one of us off at the door and driving around the block for a quick swoop to save $4.00 on parking for a well worth it salad. I don't mind at all, but my mom just can't get past it. Many food service drivers were parking right in front under the no stopping here sign. Haha I picked up my mom playing Judas Priest (Breaking the law). If this place ever has issues with foot traffic, do not close just relocate!"

A cute little mom and pop vibe with tasty traditional Taiwanese food.My go to here is usually the popcorn chicken and Taiwanese pork combo and the papaya milk smoothie. I love the sauce that goes with the rice and also the brown tea egg, cabbage, tofu, and yellow pickled daikon. It makes a complete meal for me. The popcorn chicken is always a fun and flavorful snack to have. The beef roll is another classic that's delicious too. Recently they had a really good boneless pork chop. Tastes like the popcorn chicken. You can order most anything and it'll come out pretty fast. The staff are all so nice and work efficiently."

Music was perfect level so we could still have conversations with each other and not have to shout. We would love if they came to Cali and opened one up by us. It would be my go to place for sure . I had the Sexy bowl which is with salmon avocado and all the other veggies I love. I was very satisfied with mine and would definitely suggest it if you like salmon. The flavors were perfect with their sauces , my husband got the new GFB Burger and my husband loved it as well. He loves pickles and they added pickles naturally my husband described it as they replaces the lettuce with pickles so he was in heaven he also did a side salad in place of a side. The dressing was delicious as well, my daughter made her own chicken bowl as she liked and was very satisfied with hers as well and my granddaughter ordered her own kids chicken bowl with sweet potatoes and enjoyed hers. She dipped away in their version of thousand island and she seemed to like it. So yes I would recommend this place for sure. So this will be our go to place when visiting Arizona in the future ."
