"Although Gosan is priced higher than other poke spots, the fish and marinades have greater quality. The menu consists of sashimi, rolls, and poke bowls. There are preselected combinations but I always enjoyed making my own. The staff have always been kind and the scoops are generous. =POKE=There were standard bases of white rice, brown rice and salad. Besides the plain versions, the fish came with either a mayo, sweet or spicy marinade. The hot spicy albacore and tuna had a red chili forward profile that brought in the heat. Hawaiian tuna was a mixture of salty and sweet. The creamy wasabi tuna was mayo forward and surprisingly sweet, not my favorite as the wasabi fails to stand out. The scallops are my personal favorite as these plump mollusks soak up the sweet creamy sauce well. I was happy to see a decent selection of vegetables and fruits. Seaweed salad and imitation crab weren't priced extra. Avocado cost more to add on. Although there are sauces available, I wouldn't recommend adding on more given the high liquid content and flavorful marinades already. The sauces primarily had a soy or sriracha base. Very fast service and a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. Seafood has always been fresh and I love the ingenuity of the marinades."

"Want to satisfy your Hawaiian eats? Come check out Big Island Hawaiian! I got the BBQ chicken which came with steamed broccoli/cabbage and macaroni salad. All items were filling and delicious. The bbq chicken was so tender and juicy, was dry. I enjoyed my meal and will be coming back. Tables were clean. Staff was great!"

"Love this place. I have driven by many times. This time I stopped to check it out. Hawaiian/Asian fusion. Sign me up. Prices are good, portions were nice. The Jalapeño Roll is my favorite! The short beef ribs were delicious. Also Cream cheese ragoons bomb! It does get busy at certain times but the owners are so nice. They are working hard. Thank you for all you do. Glad to have found you. I have only ordered- my food to go, as it is a tad bit small inside. Casual setting. Food is fabulous!"

"Now I somewhat have an idea about the afternoon action of Downtown Phoenix. Well, it took me long enough to figured that out.There are more lunch options in the downtown area. With some good options in the area, I ran across this small Hawaiian dining spot for my final meal in "the Valley of the Sun".You can either order at the counter or if you are in a hurry, order ahead through the Door Dash app. I was looking at the menu above the kitchen. The café has your usual Hawaiian dishes, like the chicken katsu in which I was craving and ordered for lunch for $10.50. The meal also comes with rice, macaroni, and greens. What this place also have is brown rice for $1.50 extra. Not many places offer brown rice, but I just became a fan of the brown grain.There are some tables for dining in. But I took my meal back to my hotel. The chicken katsu meat was thick and cooked nicely. The brown rice was a difference maker with my meal. This was a solid meal."

"My little girls and I stopped by to try Koibito Poke today. Anthony greeted us and helped me pick out my poke bowl ingredients. We bought one medium bowl and one mochi. Everything was delicious. My girls wolfed down the poke bowl. My 6 year old daughter is a crab salad critic and she rates this place haha Anthony was very attentive, friendly and provided excellent customer service. He's an asset to this venue! We'll be back! Highly recommend!"

"Hawaiian BBQ done rightThis was our first visit to Kahu Hawaiian BBQ and we were pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of food, this place is doing Hawaiian BBQ right.On this visit we shared the teriyaki chicken, macaroni salad, and crab rangoon. Everything was piping hot, fresh, and flavorful and the portion sizes are large enough for two. I really appreciate that we were given extra teriyaki sauce was provided without even asking. I recommend you stop by and enjoy a delicious meal."

"I enjoy going to the old town Scottsdale location. But, this location seemed to skimp more of the toppings. I asked for extra rice and was only given a tiny bit more. My non-fish eating, friend really enjoyed the fresh grilled teriyaki chicken breast on rice bowl for $10. It was his first time at a poke restaurant, but loves Panda Express and Chinese food. The interior is basic fast casual dining with TVs playing fail videos."

"As someone who lived right next to the ocean for 5 years, I can be harsh on fish quality here in the desert. Lomi Poki is the BEST Poki I've had in the entire state of Arizona. Yeah, I said it. It's true.We got takeout tonight and ordered online not knowing what to expect but the quality and fresh ingredients absolutely blew me away. The fish was phenomenal and did not disappoint. My favorite thing about this place was the myriad of toppings, protein, and sauce options. It was the perfect amount of food for me and the prices seemed totally reasonable given the cost of fish these days. When picking up, the process was easy and the staff was kind & efficient. I will definitely be going back...repeatedly. And I will be trying new things every time since they have the variety for that! Sooo tasty."

"Clean shop and friendly owner! Stopped by here for the first time and got a small poke bowl (includes two scoops of protein). The fish seemed fresh and there were plenty of topping options. Majority of the toppings are similar to other poke places, but I did notice they have shaved brussels sprouts, which is something you don't typically see. My poke bowl breakdown:- Base: Combo (rice + greens)- Protein: 1 scoop salmon, 1 scoop Hawaiian tuna- Sauce: Koibito House + Citrus Ponzu- Toppings: edamame, cucumber, green onion, ginger, masago, cilantro, seaweed salad, crab mix- Dry toppings: furikake, fried onionsI got a small bowl, which looked pretty small at first, but once you eat everything, it's actually very filling! "Arizona: A wonderful landlocked state known for sushi and Hawaiian food.Isn't that what you were thinking? ;)Pacific Rim & Sushi started off as a food truck and has since moved into this great brick and mortar. The chef grew up on the island of Kauai, so hey, that has to count for something, right?On the first visit, we ordered the $16 Loco Moco and $15 Chicken Katsu. The loco moco was salty, but the chicken katsu was really juicy. Both had portion sizes that were more than generous. The mac salad isn't my favorite, and if you know me, I'm one to usually get no rice and all mac salad, but here, I say keep the rice! It helps cut the sodium level of the brown gravy on the loco moco.What a great spot and some good eats. I'll be back again to try more of the menu."

Where are you going to find a Hawaiian BBQ place that carries a large selection of entrees? Just look at Uber Eats menu choices. Let's start with the 3-entree meal. I had Orange Chicken, BBQ Beef, and BBQ Short Rib. You heard me say Orange Chicken, right? Orange Chicken batter is a light tempura-based batter. Let's talk about the BBQ Beef. Very soft and tender. The seasoning got me thinking of Chinese 5 Spice more Chinese than Hawaiian seasoning. How would I describe it? Try Chinese Beef Jerky. You'll know when you try it. Macaroni salad is about 6 scoops for a large. Thai tea is good. If you want Hawaiian & Chinese food, this place got you covered!!! Just letting you they got white fish as an entree just in case you forgot to look down at the menu photo."

"I don't know how I missed the opening of this place, but so glad I saw it today by chance. This area has been sorely missing a great açaí option. Located in three Fey's shopping center just off three 303 and Greenway it's a very, very busy parking lot. I had to park quite a way out and walk over. I was very surprised to find no one else inside. The menu has some great options. I quickly settled on a medium Hawaiian. There is a great amount of seasoning inside as well as a few tables outside with some umbrellas for some hopeful shade. Service was friendly and I had my bowl quickly. The location was clean and the best part was my bowl was delicious! I'm sure I'll be back quite often when in the area."
