"I love this little corner cafe. The menu hits SO MANY flavor cravings, I imagine just about anyone could find something they love here - and 100% gluten-free is such a ginormous win! I was so happy the café was open on July 4, as my days off don't always lineup for a sit down breakfast when they would be open. I was really craving chicken and waffles since a friend told me how good theirs was. Ultimately, I ordered a waffle breakfast sandwich that had those ingredients and more. Service was great throughout my visit, I was checked on multiple times and given great recommendations on the menu. The new cheery yellow booths are such a fun addition to this great little space (I hadn't been in the area for a few years, so I guess they're possibly just new to me). There is a take away register right next to the abundant bakery case. Be sure to try some of the fresh baked gluten-free goodness!"
"It's been a while so I figured it's time to update my review. Still great as ever. This last visit I had the garden omelette add sausage and ham. The portion was extra large with the add ins. I was so hungry I didn't snap a photo op but just know I highly recommend. I personally always sit on the patio as the inside is a bit cramped and loud for my preference. Service is quick and reliable at every visit. Great little breakfast spot."

"We came here because I had to drop off my car at a dealership close by.What an amazing experience, this place was awesome. The wait staff was great, the food was better. I felt like it took a long time to bring out our appetizer but at least the dinners didn't come out at the same time. So I was pleased. We will definitely be back!"
"I have been want to go here for some time. We went here to celebrate two birthday's and had an amazing dinner. We enjoyed some samples of wine while we waited for our table. Once seated our amazing waitress took such good care of us. I went with the surf and turf and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table lived their dinners and wine. We capped off the meal with some sweet treats. It was an excellent night and I am already looking forward to my next visit."
"I can't believe it has taken us so long to return to Charm Thai! My husband and I stopped in on a Friday evening around 5pm (we were both starving after busy days at work!), and there were plenty of open tables. There was only one server when we came in. Once we ordered, everything came out quickly! We had the tempura coconut shrimp appetizer - it was SO GOOD. Huge shrimp fried to crunchy perfection. It didn't even need the sauce it came with, although that was yummy too! When you check in on yelp, you get a free Thai iced tea - it was light and refreshing, and had a unique (to me) flavor. For our meals, I ordered the Pad See Ew after seeing it in someone else's Yelp review - it was friggen BOMB. I loved the garlicky sauce and everything about it. It was even good leftover the next day. My husband had the crab Thai fried rice. He enjoyed it, but he liked my dish better (as did I!). He cleared his plate! The food is definitely 5/5 stars here, and I would highly recommend, but service after we ordered was not great. No one checked on us once we got our food, and we waited about 15 minutes after we finished our food before anyone returned with our check."
"Pre race day carbload took me to II Vinaio with my coach and few of my teammates. It was perfect spot for big group 10 of us and tasty carbs night before big race. II Vinaio is located right in the heart of downtown Mesa with all other restaurants and bars. I enjoy the inside nice and has it own sense of personality. Not often go back of the restaurant little open bar area. The menu is pretty straight forward Italian fare. Lot of ur classic dishes, nice wine list, and nice diversity. I ended up going with go to pasta bolognese. It was delicious! Nice sauce, hearty, and generous portion size. Service was five stars. She was very attentive for big party. Not problem splitting all checks for us. Solid Italian spot. If running Mesa half or full marathon highly recommend II Vinaio."

Still a go to for gluten free goodies and comfort food. They have perfected the fried food game and because of that that, they will never lack customers. Savory or sweet they have it locked down. Vegan options, and Omni options as well. All sauces are dairy free except buttermilk syrup and gravy. Yes the sauces actually taste good. The place is always full when I go. Honestly it's too small for the game they are in. As heavy hitters they need multiple locations but hey I'll settle for what they have. They have grab and go cakes now too. I've been trying to get a cake from here for a couple years now. So this is a great option if you need something fast without the days in advance notice. Service is still great. Answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed. I always get my food to go except for one time I sat on the patio. The atmosphere is just too busy for me to stay but for some it may work.

I came here with my newest friend and his sweet girlfriend for breakfast/lunch after staying indoors for 12 nights. It was cool seeing mist on the way into the restaurant because it was already 106 before going in. It's possible it might be state law here because it's way too hot here in Arizona. The workers here were very nice and our waitress Paige gave us nice service. I like how they bring the pitcher of iced water and the carafe of coffee so you don't have to keep asking for refills! The coffee here is really good! We had a nice window seat with a good little view. The restaurant was really clean, including the men's restroom. So, for lunch, I had their version of the Turkey melt and French fries. They have a unique flavor with the sauce they put on the melt. Was super delicioso!!! I definitely was glad my friend took me here and I would come back! Please give them a try!

Food was good. Service was good. Ambiance was okay. The menu was a bit confusing, for every taco that you order you get a side but if you order two tacos you don't get another side choice. For the cost of one taco it is a bit pricey. I had the octopus taco with black beans and elote...it was delicious.

As always, appetizers are my go to. Drunken shrimp is always amazing, as is tuna sashimi. Opted for white wine, and their Sauvignon Blanc is lovely. My friend ordered a burger with blue cheese and crispy onions, and she was pleased. Our young server Alex was professional, and the noise level was not bad since I asked to be seated away from the bar. I didn't order potstickers this time, but they are another staple we get when visiting Cooper's Hawk - be it in AZ or Illinois. Sadly, no pics bc we were too hungry!

I've visited Charm Thai several times since their original opening years ago and have enjoyed their authentic Thai dishes every time.Tonight I was looking for a small meal and ordered a delicious Five Spice Roasted Pork (Moo Pah Lo) which was quite tasty but a little spicier than the medium I anticipated it to be. My friend yummy Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) also was a little spicier than the anticipated medium she ordered. We were able to enjoy some Happy Hour items too: edamame, vegetable spring rolls (both not traditional) and some white wine. Since the dishes were a little spicier than expected, they were kind enough to comp the spring rolls. We didn't have reservations but were promptly acknowledged and allowed to take a seat anywhere we wanted. Their cozy decor hasn't really changed since their original opening. Their staff are all very friendly and attentive which we always appreciate. They checked on us often and topped off our waters, brought extra plates for us to share and containers to pack up our leftovers too without being prompted. As we closed our bill out and walked out, we realized that the restaurant was filling up with only two high top tables remaining open. Such a good sight to see our local businesses being busy and filled with happy diners. We parked in the public parking garage which is conveniently a short walk back to our cars.We recommend checking them out but we have to always remember to order our dishes a little less spicy than we think we can handle just to be safe!

The food was so dang good. We got the bruschetta, which you can mix and match, and I loved that. My friend got the salmon and mushroom risotto and she ate it all because it was so good. I got the Vinaio pasta that has a lemon sauce and goat cheese and it was delicious as well. The Spritzes are only $5 and they were amazing as well! Service with Kevin was wonderful and you can tell the restaurant has been here for a while. Not dated, but just an older building. I will definitely be coming back!

I am in AZ for a conference and found this amazing diamond in the rough. This place is a dream for anyone who has food allergies. They had quite a large selection of treats, breads, bagels and even gluten free flour. I got a few things to try before I left AZ. The very first was a lemon cookie. I had the intention of trying a little bit of everything, but it was so good, I just ate the whole thing. The lemon was just the perfect amount - not overpowering at all. The texture was just a tiny bit flaky on the outside, but moist in the center. It was absolutely delicious - so much so, I went back to buy 2 more . Debbie was who helped me and was such a helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant person. Even if you don't have food allergies, I highly recommend coming here. If I didn't know for a fact everything was gluten free, I would have been nervous asking if they were sure it was gluten free.

A great way to end the week by having dinner here on a Fry-yah evening. Went here with a Pal and glad that she found this place, as we often enjoy trying new places regardless of how far away we drive to them. The location has a beautiful sight of the Mountains and the inside is very quaint and peaceful. Oro, an owner/employee, was amazing as she came out to greet us and let us know more about the food and it's preparation which was a very sweet gesture. She's so nice! We didn't request it but she was friendly and had no idea I would review them. Just a note! Shows how friendly she was. I had no idea that they didn't use sugar nor dairy until Ora explained, which is why, this made it even more awesome because, although, the food didn't cater to the sugar and dairy...I could not tell!!! Loved it!!! We arrived at 6 but didn't get our food for a very long time, thinking that Jenny, our waitress forgot about us. We were seeing other humans come in after us, and leaving way before us... that part was a little irritating to be honest. If you're planning on going, prepare to be here a while but part of me is like, you can't rush perfection although, people were in and out ...so the other part of me was irritated like... sheesh! You could tell that whomever the cooks were, that they put their love into preparation because, it was all yummy. I don't eat "good for you" meaning ( I eat sugar, gluten and dairy products)so, for me to say that this place was AWESOME is saying A LOT!!! ... Again, NO ONE WOULD EVER KNOW that it's gluten, sugar and dairy free... That's how FANTASTIC it is!!! The mushroom(s) were good but, I seen a photo in which, 2 were served so I expected 2 but, when I received only 1, I asked Jenny, (waitress) about it and she explained that it depends on the size of the mushrooms. Mine was a nice sized one but I felt a little thrown off not getting 2. The lemonade with sparkling water was tasty ... I was sad that they weren't refills though. The filet mignon was great although, I prefer medium well but,( not bloody) but it was more done than, I wanted...it was still GREAT! The presentation of all of the dishes were set up BEAUTIFULLY One of the chefs who brung out the dishes, put his heart and soul into delivery as well. Believe me he handles with care. (reminded me of salt bae... if you know, you know) The apple desert was very very good but the teeny scoop of ice cream wasn't enough... they should have at least add 2- 3 teeny scoops of the non dairy ice cream on top, as the dish, needed more moisture for the crumble on top, to set the taste pallet to comfort. Very good dish overall though. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WILL DEFINITELY RETURN. Tell Jenny and Ora that I sent yaAs usual, there's plenty of free parking. Side note: I do think that the restaurant needs a more upscale building with patio seating because the view is breathtaking and even if they were set up with wide open doors with patio seating, it would make a great spot for date night or a evening out with pals. The restaurant is upscale by its presentation and deserves an upscale building where you're able to soak in the breath taking views while eating these well prepared dishes. I had to sit straight up in my chair to enjoy the view Even, if they didn't move to a new building, at least, move to the other end of the building and install patio seating with mist. You're not utilizing the beauty of the location to match the food. Just my opinion

"I got the chocolate cake with vanilla frosting for my husband's birthday. They were able to write on the cake for me to personalize it without any issue. I'm so happy to be able to find a bakery that makes a gluten free and dairy free cake! I got there in the morning and there were tons of items in stock. The woman at the front was very helpful and gave me detailed instructions on how to store and serve the cake so that it wouldn't be dry at all. I would highly recommend this bakery!"
"Sapiens is a French restaurant serving up Paleo inspired dishes. I was so excited to come across this restaurant, as I've been wanting to cut carbs, and be a little more healthy. My husband was not as excited to try this place, however, HE LOVED IT! We both enjoyed our dishes! He got the duck, the thigh/leg portion was much better than the breast portion, all in all he did enjoy it, and we both look forward in coming back! I had the Alaskan Salmon, it was cooked to perfection, and the veggies were amazing as well. The French onion soup was 10 out 10, very good! The crab stuffed mushrooms, were about a 6 out of 10, I was really looking forward to that appetizer, but they had a strange flavor for me. The service was friendly, and our waiter offered suggestions, and knew the menu/preparation very well. We also loved that this establishment is a BYOB, hard to find restaurants in AZ that allow you to bring in your own wine or beer. For a small corking fee, we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine, that we brought from home! Excited to bring back my health conscious friends, and those with dietary needs, this place is a no brainer... it's definitely worth dining here!"
"Everything is gluten free!! It's feels so good to have zero stress when ordering :) My first order was through door dash and I was a little nervous I might somehow get the one thing that's not gluten free, but the restaurant left me a note on my food assuring me everything is gluten free. Great service and welcoming feel (even from the my desk office)."
"I found myself eating out way too much over the last several months so I've been on the hunt for a healthy alternative for quite some time. Last week this place popped up in my yelp search results and I decided to give it a whirl. I came in minutes before closing on a Sunday and was half expecting a rushed experience but what I received was the exact opposite. The staff was warm and extremely welcoming and allowed me my space to browse at my own pace so I didn't feel rushed. The amount of selections were a bit overwhelming at first and everything looked so good. I decided to try a full weeks worth of entrees and snacks to get a feel for what this place truly was about. I'll give a brief run down of my choices: Chicken enchiladas-Loved it Southwest Turkey sliders-I have to say, of the plethora of things I tried, this was by far my favorite Pot pie-I thought this was a quiche when I picked it up and I actually thought it was two, because it was so large. Loved it Buffalo chicken bowl-Didn't love it. The buffalo chicken was amazing. The brown rice it was paired with-something didn't mesh with my taste buds and I probably wouldn't get this one again. Maple roasted vegetables-Loved it Grilled vegetables-Loved it Paleo Chicken-this was a balsamic chicken with vegetables and...I Loved itTurkey Meatloaf-Loved it Roasted vegetable salad-I'm not a salad person to begin with, so I didn't love it, but that was probably just me. I did add the side of salmon to it and it was delicious-I just don't think I'd do this one again. I picked up three sides: salmon, chicken and steak. All three were perfection. The grilled chicken tasted like I had grilled it myself (if I cooked, that is), the steak, to my surprise, was flavorful and tender and the salmon was perfect so I added that to my salad. On to the best part: treats! Super food bites-I loves that these did not have peanut butter in them and were perfect for my early morning routine to literally-grab and go-loved itBanana muffin-a but small but loved it! Popsicle-this was the grapefruit one and it was a bit tart at first but on a 110 degree day, it was light and refreshing and I would grab again Last, but definitely not least, the Paleo cookies-these bad boys are to die for! I wish they came in larger quantities because I could eat them all day long! These will absolutely be in my cart on the regular! Compared to other places in the area, I felt the quantity of each portion and price were far better than their competitors. I have an Eat Fit Go, literally steps from my front door and I will drive 20 minutes each way to come here instead each week. Thank you Stacey Weber for creating a healthy grab and go for lazy cooks, such as myself! I will most definitely be back!"
"Best place in the whole valley for your gluten free needs !!!!!I don't need to say much just that everything taste amazing !!!!!!"
"Had a meeting in Mesa today and stopped by this cute little cafe on my way home that's conveniently located in the heart of downtown Mesa, just steps from the light rail. The cafe resembles a mini market with a walk-up counter for ordering. When I first walked in, the owner greeted me from the counter, very nice guy. I was surprised to take a look at the menu and find a large variety of menu offerings, including a whole gluten-free menu. Happy to find a small family-owned and operated restaurant with great food that also serves breakfast ALL-DAY. I ordered the French Toast, eggs & a coffee; food and service was great! 'll definitely be going back with my family to try their lunch menu sometime!"
