"This place is the most upscale pool hall, bar, entertainment venue in Tempe. The bartender was prompt, courteous and on point. My house salad was exactly how I wanted it AND even had the salt and fresh cracked pepper on it before it came out (I mentioned I was on a schedule and it was exactly on time.) I look forward to coming back here often!"
"Great bar, great drinks, chill spot. If you're looking to wet your whistle or be three sheet in the wind this place is a good place to start and end. Plus the food pairs well with damn near anything on tap"

"I love Chupacabra! I don't drink alcohol so it's so nice to have a local spot that has a decent selection of NA beers. I'm able to get the Athletic IPA and sit on the nice patio out front and enjoy the quiet side street and nice weather. It's usually quieter on the weeknights and can get pretty hopping on the weekends, with music and occasionally events. The bartenders are knowledgeable and great at giving recommendations. I always bring my out of town friends here as part of the best spots. While they don't have food, they usually have a food truck out front or you can bring your food from one of the local places round the corner."
"Really nice ambiance, good staff, unique flavors. The absolute star of the night for me was the ceviche - citrusy tang, high quality fish, and a crunch from fried taro topper. The staff were kind and helpful. The fritter dessert was bland and a slight letdown after a flavorful meal. I think it's a place everyone should try at least once! However, it's fairly pricey and small portioned so I don't think it's going to be a place we frequent."
"Great local watering hole for craft beer enthusiasts or if you want to have a fun time with a small group. ___D R I N K S___This unassuming little bar boasts an impressive selection of beers. They somehow managed to get a hold of some amazing craft beers I haven't seen since living on the east coast and other beers I've only encountered while visiting Chicago. I asked some locals how the owner is able to acquire such beers and they just claimed the owner is a wizard. Lol ok. They also offer wine, mead, sake, and other drinks. I'd stick with beer here. ___F O O D___If all you want are snacks, they have you covered. No meals here, but you are free to bring in food. ___A M B I A N C E___It's a neighborhood spot. Plenty of boardgames. Seating around the bar. There are no tables so the space isn't great for large groups. ___S E R V I C E___Friendly and efficient. I always had something to drink. I probably would've rated this 3-4 stars is their tap list wasn't as good. I'll definitely consider stopping by again next time I visit Phoenix."
"Awesome selections of wines and beers and server Jordan was friendly and just amazing. He made my first visit memorable and I got to sing Karaoke on Monday night that went well with my dragoon pilsner! Mahalo for a great time!"
"One of our favorite places for bar trivia in the Valley (Tuesdays at 7!)--it's nice and competitive, but not aggressively so. They also are wonderful about having the clues projected on to one of the TVs (though the crowd is generally pretty much all trivia players, and people are great about being quiet when the question is being read). The staff is also attentive and kind, which makes for an even better experience. Food: The menu used to be bigger, but they've gotten smaller since COVID (understandable), but what they have is fine. Nothing to write home about, but soaks up the alcohol and is fun to nibble on through the night. Drink: Excellent! They have a huge draft list, and are great about keeping their selections updated both on their website and on Untappd. They also have a huge selection of cans, great for a build-a-6 or if the draft list just isn't doing it for you. You can also order flights (can do either 4 or 6), which only adds to the delightfulness."
"My husband and I took our two boys here this morning, and it was a great experience. The staff were really friendly, the atmosphere was fun, the pop tart was delicious and the patio was perfect for two young boys and their monster trucks. I loved that the table tops aren't metal so when it gets hotter you're not having to deal with a burning metal table. We bought a shirt and a sticker, and are excited for a new small business to support that's so rad."
"Dropped by for drinks. they actually had happy hour on SATURDAY from 4pm-8pm! $6 happy hour price for their sazarita! One of the best margarita i've had in a long time! not too tangy, not too sour....just right!!Great casual atmosphere and vibe. i like that you can just seat yourself, and go straight to the bar and order! Cool bar to hang out and enjoy some really amazing drinks without going broke! gotta get back and try some of their specialty cocktails next time!!"
"We came by The Theodore by on our way to a concert. We decided to stop by for a drink. This was my first time here at this place on Roosevelt Row.In fact I hadn't been on Roosevelt Row in quite a while. The Theodore has outdoor seating as well and I am pretty sure it can accommodate a big crowd on a busy evening. Has plenty of seating inside and I noticed it has a lounge seating area too. Has a big tv screen to watch sports for the sports fan.The servers are very sociable with their customers as well as helpful to make your stay a good one.I would recommend a visit here if you are in the area. Parking is a bit challenging but you can find parking. The Light Rail does have a station on Central Avenue and Roosevelt Street, if you would rather not drive here.I'm sure a lot of the locals come here to cool off on a warm day."
"This Kodo just opened up and it's officially a weekly spot for us, after tonight. All the rolls are made in this purple rice that's really good. The sushi chefs are surprisingly fast. The rolls are both delicious and not nearly as pricy as I'd expected. The service was air-tight too. Everything flew out, everything was seamlessly handled by like 8 different people who all seemed to be coordinated by bill belichick. They even gave us a complimentary appetizer. Wow. Everything about this place rules."
"Would you consider the ocean a soup? Hear me out! It has water (the base), salt (flavor), veggies, and fish (protein). Now that we got that nonsense out of the way, get your syllabus ready for Sushi 101 Bar and Grill update. I first came to Sushi 101 as a wide-eyed freshmen at ASU and have been back plenty of times since. This is pretty much a staple place for all ASU students to go but now Sushi 101 has relocated from being right next to the ASU campus to a mile or so away. Did the relocation hinder their business? I'll let you decide.Get the ASU Roll, The Monsoon Roll, and even a Philly Roll if you love salmon with cream cheese. Get whatever you want but just get yourself down here. If you're a Sun Devil, you have to pay homage to this spot. Will it be the best sushi of your life? No. But you have to come here. Period."

What a cool place! You'd have no idea from the outside just how big it is inside. So "modern" inside, hints the name. TONS of pool tables, I didn't count how many but one entire side is designated just for that. Cute couches all over the place for cute pics and chillin... many more tables to sit and dine at. Staff is cool and friendly but you do have to go to the bar for service. They have video games, darts and so much more! Only CON of the night- When you purchase a game card, you get credits... and the amount of credits divided by the number of credits needed to play one game, will always leave you with a leftover amount of credits you cannot use Amusementconnect.com is definitely making their money and making it unfair to customers everywhere. I'll definitely be back because I like the interior and vibe so much. OH ALSO, seems like they charge 20% gratuity on every purchase automatically. I didn't like this feature, but it is what it is I guess.

My friends and I LOVE Chupacabra Taproom - It is such a welcomed an awesome addition to downtown Mesa. The space is intimate, with a U shape bar inside, a few tables and standing space, in addition they have a comfortable outdoor patio. The vibe is on point, as the taproom is an older house, with exposed brick, the outdoor patio sports hanging lights and ample picnic tables. We typically sit outside with our doggos and play board games while enjoying a brew. The service is friendly and though there is usually only one or two bar tenders behind the bar, they are on top of it.Now to the beer - They have a great selection, from cans to 20+ beers on tap (guesstimate), the always have a great sour selection, which is my go-to, so I am grateful for that! As far as food, they do not have any in-house food, but offer rotating food trucks and of course, seem to have no issues if you bring any of your own from the other local DT Mesa options. It's a great spot to hang with friends at the beginning, middle or end of your nights, anytime of the week! Check them out!

The food is delicious and flavours were unique. A great experience dining here and would definitely come back. The quality of ingredients is fresh and you can taste the difference. Service was smooth and friendly. Bar and dining area, right night to an inn. There's valet parking available.

Right off Bethany in a small shopping strip mall. Such an amazing selection of beer to choose from . Prices are pretty good, bottles only. If you can make it forHappy hour the prices are even better. If you get lucky enough to get the bearded bartender, he is very knowledgeable about all the beers and will get you exactly what you're looking for! Sorry about the blurry beer selection, guess I had a few to many.

Super fun wine and beer game bar with cool vibes and good service. We came here while waiting for our table at Glai Baan. The two businesses have walkie talkies to communicate back and forth when your table is ready, a stellar service really. The drink menus are written on the walls, beer on one side and wine on the other. Didn't pay too much attention to the beers since I was going with wine, but the wall looked full and I did notice a lot of cans in the fridge. The wine selection was pretty big too, liked that all were available by the bottle or glass. They had a ton of games, the bar was even lined and stacked up with them. Such a fun place, wish something like this existed close to me!

Great place & so happy to have it in the Ocotillo area. The patio is good size and so is the bar & interior. They have TVs, games and great beers on tap. Husband & I love to stop over when we can but also come grab from their takeout, by-the-can fridge selection.

"Very attentive waiter. Food was great and incredibly quick service. Live music at times, nice interior and outdoor seating"
"We have loved coming here for years and continue to love it! Dog friendly patio let's us bring our baby with us while we enjoy football and amazing food and beer selections! The pizza is our go-to and the fried artichoke hearts! We never seen fried artichoke anywhere before it's playfully far the best idea! If you haven't been 100% recommend! Ask for Kyle he is friendly and accommodating, was just on it!"
"Had such a fun board game night with my friends here! They have sooo many board games to choose from and plenty of space. There are a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to purchase at the bar. You will want to leave a credit card to keep a tab open because there's also snacks and sandwiches you can buy too. We came on trivia night (Friday), which we weren't aware of and this isn't your normal trivia. The questions are DIFFICULT. Would love to come back again. I only wish they had a greater variety of snacks available for purchase."
"Great selection of beers and then there's the refrigerator filled with more beer, cider and seltzers. They don't sell food but you're allowed to bring in your own food.We went on a Tuesday for quiz night but that week it was cancelled, so check first before showing up."
"We enjoyed a Delicious meal at 5R Cha. I had the Teriyaki Chicken and my husband had Chicken Rama. Also, had pot stickers and the Thai Sweet potatoes for appetizers. All was very tasty!! The service was also fast and efficient! We will DEFINITELY go back!"
"Senior sushi is a hidden gem! This place is the perfect blend of Mexican style cuisine and Asian food. The ambiance is homey and they even have a stage for live music. We went on a Saturday night for dinner. We got a table quickly and had a great server. I ordered a cocktail which was delicious and we shared two rolls. The carne asada was delicious! The meat was seasoned perfectly. The shrimp on the shrimp killer roll tasted fresh and was very light, a great combo to order with one of the fried rolls.I am happy that I tried this place out. Definitely a spot I recommend coming back to for an unique, delicious, filling meal."
"Great food and service. We both got the bento boxes and with California rolls. I'll definitely go again to try new things"
"I honestly needed a lil sweetness in my life , so when I found out there was a bar with CANDY on the menu, I just knew that it would be love at first sight! Fellow Yelpies, you gotta try this place! The Sugar Bar has all kinds of sweets to indulge in, (SCORE!) and a pretty decent line up of craft beers, adult slushies, and tasty beverages to try too! (DOUBLE SCORE!) Bartender was super accommodating and even helped me create my own drink recipe to try! Would definitely recommend it if you have a sweet tooth and wanna get your fix! Tip: ask your bartender for a flight of drinks! They always have something new in their line up that you might like!"
"My husband and I came here on a Sunday close to 1:00pm. Although Yelp says that they opened at 1:00pm, a bartender stated that on Sundays they open around 2pm due to the low traffic on this day and at this time. We were waiting in front of the doors to find another place to go and the bartender went ahead and let us in at 1pm! The ambiance is always nice to me. The lighting in here just gives me good vibes. I haven't had the food from here but I plan on it when I come back!"
"They have amazing tasty wings and their trivia nights are so much h fun. It was my first time there and I was pressed"
"We needed a quick dinner after running around doing wedding errands and were nearby. Thankfully we showed up and easily found seats at the bar. After being here for 5 mins - I realized how eerily familiar it all was. It was because it's the sibling restaurant to my other favorite spot, The Macintosh. Great old fashioned cocktails just like Macintosh. Great yummy southern inspired meals just like Macintosh as well. Highly recommend it!"
"Fun place if you want to play some games and eat/drink with friends....Parking - there are open paid lots and meters around the area. I ended up parking at a meter that wasn't too expensive, it's free after 10. A few friends and I went here on a Saturday night for my friend's bday. Pinball machines and pool tables ($10 per hour) are first come first serve. We did the duck pink bowling, I recommend making ressies online for that. It is just smaller pins with a smaller ball and shorter lanes, still fun! It is more expensive at $20 per hour for an online ressie vs $15 for walk in, but it gets busy on the weekend so it's nice to not have to wait. There are 3 lanes for ressies and 3 lanes for walk ins. You can eat and drink at the lanes if you don't want to pay the extra $12 to reserve a table online for their "Hollywood" booth that is off to the side. I just don't like how you have to reserve it online instead of over the phone. For free. Lols We just ate at the lanes which I think is better. One of our friends was late so our server was so nice to offer we wait with our food at the Hollywood booth until our friend came. Free of charge. Otherwise it would have cut into our hour reservation with the bowling! My friends said the bulgigi beef nachos and Beijing pork roll were pretty good. I didn't eat it since I hate cilantro and it's full of it. I had the yummy sweet potato waffle fries, popcorn chicken with honey butter five spice and curry fries, delicious! I recommend, great snacks for bowling. My friends ordered some foo foo drinks but I don't remember the names. They said they were ok but the shriveled, droopy, spotted brown basil used for a garnish was funny. I recommend Cham Pang skipping that bc it just makes the presentation look sad. Hehe Overall a good time! Service and servers were great. Food was good, bowing was fun. I'd def go again..."
"Good selection of beer. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Great neighborhood vibe. Food trucks on the weekend."
"Back in the Middle Ages, beer was considered to be a normal part of the human diet. People drank it daily because they thought it was necessary for their health. And hey, maybe they were onto something.Ah, Tipsy Cactus TapRoom & Bottle Shop, what a great place. They have 35 rotating craft beer lists, so you can always find yourself a great brew. Got a significant other who likes beer when it "doesn't taste like beer?" Ask the staff. They're knowledgeable and have great suggestions.Happy hour is every day and includes $2.00 off drafts and wine, $1.00 off bottles and cans of beer, from 2M-7PM. They don't serve food here, but if you go on their website, tipsycactusaz.com, you can find their food truck schedule."
"Haven't been to Scottsdale in years. Came back this weekend and was blown away! This bar is brand new and so much fun!!! Bartender Bri started my night off with the best vibes, even helped me write a caption for my photo for the hot Cheeto drink challenge. She has the best energy, and all the bartenders were fun and here to make our night exciting. Honestly, I will be back some specifically for the people. They are wonderful, fun and this bar has so much potential. It is brand new and packed on weekends now, but not too packed where you feel overwhelmed. The bartenders look out for the patrons, the bar games are fun and the venue is creative and large enough to encourage a weird and fantastic night. As a woman who worked in nightlife for 7 years, I can truly say I see why people come here rather than other places in old town. The hospitality, the fun and the liquor. Love this place. And if you're not doing the shot challenge then WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING WITH YOUR LIFE Drink the drinks. Feel the vibes. Fall in love with Scottsdale and thank me later"
"The service here is unmatched. We also love the variety of of beverages. The food is delicious and we appreciate the chefs on staff. God is good."
"I've ordered three sandwiches from this restaurant and they are delicious. No skimping on the meat here, and the bread is fresh. I haven't been in yet, but if I'm nearby and need something for lunch or dinner, I sure will! Yummy!"
"Great little spot in downtown Phoenix. Family friendly for kids and fur babies with indoor and patio seating."
"I really like this place despite the food not being very good and the beers being on the pricier end. They have bar seating, tables inside with a lot of board games, a few arcade games, and a patio outside. It's a nice casual place to grab drinks with friends if you're looking for a relaxing night out. I think it would be 10x better if they had a real kitchen and better food options (wouldn't mind some vegan options as well). I will still continue to come here because it's a cool setup, there are many beer/cider options (also a fridge with canned beers/ciders you can take home) and the staff is friendly."
"Drunken Tiger in Mesa is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy some great food and drinks! The happy hour deals were absolutely amazing--excellent prices and a good variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends. The staff are attentive and friendly, ensuring a wonderful experience every time. Highly recommend stopping by for happy hour and beyond!"
"My first time to Freely and I was not disappointed! Stopped in on a Monday evening with a friend for their $25 bottle of wine + flatbread deal, and what a great combo! The deal is all day Monday and Tuesday and applies to any flatbread and bottle of wine. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too busy and parking was easy in the strip mall area. You order at the counter and then sit at one of their comfortable tables and your food is brought out to you. Their wine selection is decent and we ordered the Hey Mambo flatbread. We also ordered the simple Italian salad to share and it was the perfect meal. The flatbreads are good sized with generous toppings and the crust is tasty as well. They have other specials at Freely so highly recommend checking it out!"
"A great little spot away from the downtown crowds. If I lived in the area, I'd be walking there frequently. They host a lot of events to keep people coming back - happy hours, trivia, cards nights, live music, etc. What really keeps thirsty people returning is the self-serve wine machine and rotating options. You don't see a lot of those around town. Its fun to be able to pick and choose small samples instead of committing to one full glass at a time. to In addition, they have craft beers and ciders available too (in cans, no taps). Small light bites menu complements the drinks. Definitely a good happy hour spot if you don't have a large group. Space is precious here, the largest table fits maybe 8 adults. If you're able to remote work, they offer free wifi too. The bar/wine tenders know their wine and each time I've gone have been able to give solid recos based on what I was wanting to drink."
"I was at an event at Park Central and got the munchies and stumbled upon this place. The Green Woodpecker is a craft beer and taco bar concept that was founded by the people behind Gadzooks Enchiladas & Soup and Wren House Brewing Co. These are establishments that I frequent often and enjoy. So my expectations were somewhat high coming here and I wasn't disappointed. This place is pretty chill and I enjoyed my Friday night here. The menu here is quite simple - street tacos, burritos and chips & salsa (they also have vegetarian options for protein). Green Woodpecker has a number of craft beers on tap or you can grab a bottle of wine or canned beer to-go. Sometimes simple and delicious is all that you need for a relaxing evening out. Seating is both indoor and outdoor (with TV screens) and the customer service is fantastic. This location was once a flower and gift shop and Green Woodpecker pays homage to the past by selling floral bouquets."
