"First time eating here and the food was surprisingly very delicious! It was just one lady working and she cooked everything herself. I went on a Wednesday night around 5pm and there was only 2 people eating there in the whole place. I think this is definitely a hidden gem. The ambiance inside is not great and it felt a little warm and it was dead silent (they need some music playing). I got the order to go and when I got home the food was still hot and all the flavors were very balanced and tasted like this woman knew what she was doing! It felt like it was a home cooked meal- very authentic! Prices weren't bad at all- very reasonably priced. Overall would eat here again but feedback to the owners is to fix inside to modernize a bit :) but support your local Pho locations!"
"My new favorite pho spot! The broth is so delicious and comes out piping hot. They load up the bowl with tons of meat and noodles. The service has always been great. The waitress is always friendly and ready to help all guests. Interior is very clean along with tables and chairs.Would def recommend this spot to anyone who wants pho! It's a little pricey but I think worth it."

"Love this place! We come here often to get Boba. I can't say I have a specific fav because all of the drinks are great. We consistently get the crab bowl. It's enough for our family of four to share. The young lady at the front is always nice and inviting."
"This is one of the best hole in the wall restaurants I love coming to, such a quiet, peaceful, delicious food!!! My go to's are always "Tom kha" soup with chicken as a protein, you can always choose your spice level, Pad thai (YUMMY) & All their curry's are the best!! Service is very nice and fast, it is a family owned restaurant and super homey vibes! Everyone is so sweet, specially the owners! This is my go to place! Come check it out for yourself, you WILL come back!"
"My friend and I have been here 3 times now for lunch at the sushi bar and absolutely love this place. Sushi chef Alan has taken excellent care of us since the day we met. My friend and I are pretty pure sushi eaters, getting pretty much the same things every time, but I will say the menu makes me want to deviate, so I've been trying new menu items. I personally am a Ramen and noodle soup lover, so I will have to try their soups on the menu in the future. But in the mean time, the Yellowtail, Tuna, Salmon, Sweet Shrimp, Masago, Uni and Eel Nigiri have all been excellent. The grilled Hamachi Kama also excellent. This 3rd. time here I had the Salmon Uni Ikura Don Bowl... loved it. Everything has been very fresh and tasting wonderful. Great neighborhood addition to an area that is changing and growing fast.Atmosphere: big, full bar area, big sushi bar and big dining tables area. Food: excellent. Service: excellent."
"We tried this place because of the reviews, unfortunately we did not have a delicious meal. We had musabi, and it was quite delicious. I had chicken fried rice. A bit salty and lacking garlic, but the chicken was horrible. Grisly and chewy thigh meat. My wife had teriyaki chicken with the same horrible chicken thigh meat, full of gristle. The teriyaki sauce on the side however was quite good.To the credit of the server, she was very polite and did a good job keeping water topped off. The chef.....well, sorry, big miss."
"This pace has been on my list to try, finally on a Tuesday night I might to get there. I met my big sis there. It was very quiet for awhile, then they pick up later. Offering authentic and freshly prepared Thai cuisine. It is a cozy, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Their About Us is on their wall showing the best rice from Thailand, soup, chicken, etc. We ordered a bunch a food and shared everything:1. Half & Half - Steamed skinless dark and white meat chicken served with ginger garlic rice2. Clucket - Thai seasoned bite size fried chicken3. Chicken pot stickers - Fried dumplings filled with chicken4. Steamed purple rice - As known as forbidden rice ( fiber content makes it more nutritious than many varieties of white rice)The staff member told us a little about the menu. I think she was the only person working, or maybe someone was in the back? Either way, the food was good and tasty with all the right seasonings plus cooked well. I need to come back to try the other items."
"I've past by here quite a bit during my college days and didn't really know about this place. Well back in the area for a while and wanted to see what kind of places people were recommending in the area.Ive been to Japan lived there, been all over asian. I'll tell you this, it is NOT japanese food at all. They may have 1 or 2 items (yakisoba) that you may find in Japan or Japanese restaurants but these are more American style "asian" fast food more toward Chinese style.Got a combo C to try a few things at this sitting. House chicken is basically chopped up grilled chicken in a "chop suey" style stir fry with cabbage slivers of cabbage mushroom and broccoli. Tossed in a heavy soy type sauce. Imo was very salty and didn't finish it. I do not like wasting food and try to take things home etc but actually left the rest behind.2nd item in the combo is Kaum Poong Kee. I've never heard of this dish before so really wanted to try this. Thick heavy tempura style batter chicken tossed in a sweet slightly spicy soy sauce. It was very heavy and the sauce was too much for me. I left a few pieces behind as well. Was super crunchy and freshly fried however. Overall was just too much salt for me. Maybe a simple teri chicken bowl would be better options here.If this is what you been going to for years more power to you and thank you for supporting small businesses but not for me sorry."
"My goodness! Now... I saw the photos and said this looks just like the food I used to eat when I ate meat... let me see how good it is. First of all, everything on the menu sounds delicious. I got the General Tso Chicken and that first bite... oh my. It had a good crunch on it and then went tender and the flavor... ON POINT! If I was staying in AZ longer, I would have gone back and tried all the things. The drinks are also delicious. I grabbed a pink passion. Since I dined in, I had to control my food dancing but trust me when I say you need to visit this spot. Seems like they do a lot of to-go orders but sitting inside is peaceful. When I came in I was greeted and seated instantly. The staff was very attentive. I also appreciated the level of care around cleanliness. This will be a stop every time I'm in town. Any wait to bring a travel buddy with me."
"Wow, the food is incredible! The Spam Misubi is probably some of the best I've ever had! The Japanese Box is also so incredible, the Teriyaki chicken is cooked to perfection and it comes with beautifully cooked rice with an absolutely delicious cucumber salad to top it all off. Highly recommend for a delicious lunch or dinner!"
"Delicious comfort Asian fusion food. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and the ambiance is just perfect.Thank you for your service!"
"I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the staff. They were amiable and accommodating Witty any questions or recommendations. This is one of a few food trucks this business has. After finding a seating area, I tried both the dumplings and "bear" breaded with teriyaki chicken inside. The meat was far for my liking in meats. It needed to have a complimentary sauce, whether that's bbq or pineapple or teriyaki sauce, it lacked there. The dumplings were nice and hot. I ate my first one and was surprised it was the usual dumpling. That may have been my own expectation, but aside from that, it was delicious."

One of the best Pho restaurants I have been to. Broth is amazing. Price is very good for the size and quality. Definitely top notch.

Was in the mood for Pho.. It's been a while so I got the opportunity to try a new place. This place is nice and cozy, clean and friendly staff. Ordered Goi Cuon to start with and ordered the beef special Pho. Goi Cuon was pretty good.. I would say the meat they put in had some more flavor compare to other places. The Pho was pretty darn good. The broth had nice clean flavorful. I would say one of the best broth I've tasted. Over all it was pretty good. I would say far as the flavor of the broth one of my top 5 places. If I am in the area I would definitely come here again.

Wonderful staff super helpful and knowledgeable. My daughter loves boba and so does my niece. They both loved their drinks my niece said it wasn't as sweet as she's used to but would absolutely want to come back as it was delicious from start to finish same from my daughter. Love that they have lots of food options as well excited to come for all of the things as it looked super good and fresh. So much so a whole crab was just pulled out of a pot in the kitchen. Hidden with small parking lot in the back so don't miss this place! Add it to your list

Really good service. Delicious crab rangoons! Spring rolls weren't served as hot as I'd prefer. Good soup. Really good pad Thai. I like the booth seating. Definitely will be back!

Zu IzakayaSpider Roll with ginger and wasubi was a very nice beginning to our meal, nice soft shell Crab and just good eating.Gyozas served in a basket with dipping sauce were very good, nice and Crispy served with a nice dipping sauce. Get'em!Galbi with onions, zucchini and mushrooms served on a skillet with Korean style sweet soy sauce. Galbi meat was on the tough side with a bit too much Korean sweet soy sauce. Almost had to scrape some off. Loved the onions, zucchini and mushrooms on the skillet Service was very good and there is plenty of parking where this location was the old "Shogun"Next time we will expand and try a few other entrees.

It's a small place with big flavor! The Hubbs tried it earlier this week and said we needed to go back. We started with the soup trio - she makes new soups every day. The egg drop soup was my favorite - it had body and lots of flavor. The sausage and potato soup had a nice spice to it. The Hubbs thought the clam chowder was good but not his favorite. It was served with bread and butter. Their wings are meaty and juicy. I love the honey butter garlic glaze. She makes their sauces and glazes. The Hubbs had the orange glaze last time and really liked them. We each ordered bulgogi - I had the beef and the Hubbs had the pork belly. The pork was more flavorful. My beef was good but needed a little more sauce. Both were served with sticky rice and broccoli. Yum. We had the vanilla bean gelato which she served with three sauces on the side. The Hubbs had the mango rice last time which was like a dessert. They have an interesting fusion menu - I really want to try some of their Spam-based breakfasts.

I have been wanting to check out Chick-A-Dee for a while and did not disappoint. We dined on a Tuesday night. It was pretty quiet. Go support this small business for them to continue staying in business. I loved the storyboard chicken mural detailed the sourcing of the fresh chicken. We tried the half and half with garlic rice, dumplings, purple rice, and clucket. The garlic and purple rice were so tasty. I can probably eat a few trays of the clucket nuggets with the thai sauce. It fried perfectly. The chicken portion size seems small for the high price. However, the sides were resonable to add with your meal. I am sure I'll return to try other items.

This place has been here forever. I remember coming here in high-school and they are still busy. So that's a good sign. Loved how they updated their menu board and even the combo deals. Would say their chicken stir fry was a little too saucy and not enough rice, but I shouldn't complain as most restaurants now cut back on proteins. Always a favorite, I'd highly recommend adding this favorite to your routine takeout.

"Chilli King is a small Chinese-Asian Fusion restaurant located in Glendale near to Old Town Glendale. They have only four tables for dine in and offer soft beverages. The food I tried was all VERY GOOD. I've dined here and more recently I did take out. Proteins are tender. The food is very flavorful and delicious. Portions are also very large. You can also upgrade your steamed rice to fried rice, steamed vegetables, or chow mein. One problem here. This is a small family restaurant. On both my visits they left their young son in charge of the restaurant. He takes orders and payment very well but doesn't explain their take out policy. They won't make your take out order until they are paid. If you call in an order you must pay by credit card for your order to be ready for pick up. If you pay with cash they tell you 10 minutes that is in real life more like 30 minutes....It's best to call for current hours because they have changed them several times already. But the spicy boiled chicken is really great!"
"I accidentally ordered a bowl of Vietnamese soup with extra puns. It was Phở-nomenal!I have to be fair. This place is a three. The spring rolls were fresh and eye-catching, although an ingredient they used left a bitterness on the palate. The peanut sauce was also on the watery side. As for the pho, it was decent. It was not the worst pho and not the best pho. Perhaps the items I ordered weren't it, but I'm not sure I'll be popping back in.Keeping it 100, this place is like a 75. The floors are sticky, the windows face west so it gets warm, but the staff is nice."
"I celebrated the Chinese New Year of the Dragon at Little Szechuan, and it was an exceptional experience. The authenticity of the Sichuan spice truly stood out! Each dish carried a genuine and flavorful kick that perfectly captured the essence of Sichuan cuisine. The celebration at Little Szechuan was a delightful journey through the rich and bold flavors, making it a memorable Chinese New Year experience. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and spicy culinary adventure! #LittleSzechuan #SichuanSpice #ChineseNewYear"
"Pretty good! We tried some kalua pork tacos and malasadas at the Street Truck Festival. The kalua pork tacos were pretty small, with more of a focus on the pulled pork rather than the taco as a whole. The meat was moist, and had a nice flavor, although I do feel that Golden Hawaiian BBQ has better kalua pork. The malasadas were the "Secret item" of the day (Show them their Secret Item picture from Twitter and you will get them in a little paper bag). This was my first time trying them, and they reminded me a lot of Chinese-style doughnuts. It had a nice sugary outer coating, with soft fried dough on the inside. If they are in the area, I'd definitely like to try Island Loco for more Hawaiian style eats!"
"ABSOLUTELY 5 ! While doing the standard; search Yelp for a place to eat, happy hour & something I've not tried...Well this was a big WIN The service is amazing, it's owned by a wonderful younger couple Peng & Tina. Peng runs the kitchen & Tina runs the floor, Tina is very sweet & personable. I am so glad we found this place, huge KUDOS to the Yelpers for visiting/ reviewing, Peng & Tina for having such a passion for service, great food & service. Started with; Miso soup & Cream cheese Rangoon. The miso soups could have been hotter buy the flavor was very good. The Rangoons are light, fluffy & tasty. The sushi rolls came with great presentation & really great flavor. We modified the "Golden spicy Tuna" to add jalapeno & cream cheese to the inside. We got turned onto this roll YEARS ago in Califonia (old favorite place). Now any sushi place we visit, we ask to have it modified, not too difficult, right? Well nope, nobody has been able to recreate this roll properly... UNTIL TODAY! It was perfectly prepared, held together & excellent amount of each ingredients, really flavorful! We cannot wait to return!Thank you Peng & Tina"
"My friends and I tried this New place for the first time . It is the best hot pot around East valley . The portions are huge and fresh seafood. Quick service .Definitely going back"
"Been coming here for quite some time. Arrived this time at 11:30am for lunch on a Wednesday. Somewhat busy, but we were seated immediately. Quick scan of the menu QR code...and we ended up ordering what we always order, the Nishikawa Black Ramen. Bowls came out quickly and were of the usual greatness! Very tasty bowls of tonkotsu broth! Noodles were perfect, as were all the other additions. Eggs were soft boiled as we requested and were delicious! Great ramen and great service so we definitely recommend!"
"It's good, but it's also a bit pricey. For example: a grilled pork bun with one egg roll was 21.50, which is higher than I've paid at other Vietnamese places. However, the pork is probably the best I've had.My wife didn't enjoy her Vietnamese ribs that much, due to too many fragmented bone shards.I'll return, but my expectations will be in line with the prices"
"After reading a Phoenix Times review about this place, we came here tonight after running with Aravaipa. The article reports that you shouldn't order some of your go to Korean dishes here and really give their authentic grandma country cooking a try.We ordered the pork belly and kimchi stew, the steamed cod and acorn jelly salad. The stew was very interesting and the woman who served us brought over a small stove to finish cooking the stew and prior to turning on the stove, cut up the big pieces of fermented cabbage right before our eyes. Soup was fairly sour and tasty. Pork belly was good, but that's not how I like it cooked. I like pork belly caramelized and very very tender. Lots of tofu, so that was great, I love tofu.Steamed cod was also interesting, it was very red when it came to the table and doused in hot pepper sauce. I was able only to eat one piece because a little too spicy for me.My favorite was the acorn jelly salad. I loved it and I will come back just to eat this! It reminds me of a Chinese dish I love, but cannot get out here. This will be excellent when it is so hot outside outside and I'll have the cold buckwheat noodles too when I come back! Overall, a very nice experience and I'll definitely be back to try their other standouts. There was a lot of Korean spoken in the restaurant and I guess it made me really want to visit South Korea at some point to experience the food and culture firsthand."
"My husband and I tried this place tonight for the very first time. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The portions are a good size and the prices are fantastic. We highly recommend this place for your next Asian cuisine outing. Higley and Guadalupe."
"First time eating dim sum in Scottsdale. They don't bring the cart around but you order off the menu. They provide all the classic dishes so you won't be disappointed. Nice to have something in Scottsdale."
"Very clean and beautifully remodeled from the oldTeriyaki kitchen. The food is very good. American Chinese food mixed with Japanese ramen and rice plates. But they also add in bao dumplings which are so soft! The rib in the ramen was super tender. My favorite bao was the pork bao for sure. Very nice staff as well!"
"It has been almost 15 years since my last review of LTC, and it is still going strong! This location is close to the Phoenix Rising Youth Stadium where my son practices soccer multiple nights a week, so it's easy to dine in or take out. My daughter and I recently dined in... We shared salted edamame, fresh rolls with shrimp, and the mixed veggies with chicken (and added eggplant). It was all delicious and we had some leftovers to share with my husband and son as well.Service is always friendly and I love supporting this family owned business whenever I get a chance! I hope you will too. Enjoy!"
"Tried this food truck for the first time at the Arizona Bao and Dumplings festival and it was amazing. They had mini buns as a festival specialty and I thought I was eating at a fancy restaurant! The Korean fried chicken and kimchi one was my favorite. Bursting with flavor and traditional kimchi. The pork belly bun was a close second with a little jalapeño for heat and lots of good flavors. And they looked so perfect like they were right out of a Food Network show. Any time so see this truck, it will be a must-eat for me."
"Great spot to eat some tasty teriyaki! I'm a big fan of dark meat chicken, especially when it comes to teriyaki, and often the one struggle is dealing with all the extra fat that goes along with dark meat. Not here. All the meat you get with your meal is purely edible chicken and it was very good. I ordered a large Maui plate and enjoyed the chicken and the rice and the small salad that went along with it. I also got a vegetable egg roll. that was very good not greasy at all service was fast and I would definitely come back here again"
"This place was a pleasant surprise. So unique and full of flavor. The interior is so unique and warm feeling. Their staff never stops moving. Their menu selection is absolutely beautiful with plenty of options. Not sure if it's always like this, but they did not speak English which made it a bit difficult to order but I managed to place my order just fine. It's actually a Spanish sushi restaurant which makes this fusion food. My sushi was so unique and tasty. So filling I had to share it to eat it and I still had leftovers. I'm very happy I decided to stop by. I wish they had one of these in my area. The worst part of my experience was the parking. not as much parking as I'd like but enough for the amount of space they have."
"We were visiting from CA and craving Asian food--this Korean BBQ spot did not disappoint! Our server, Josue (apologies if I'm not spelling that right!), was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The aesthetic of the place was spot-on too; it reminded me of the KBBQ spots in Koreatown-LA which made for a really comfortable and familiar vibe. This was also the type of kbbq where they cook it for you, not AYCE. We ordered the beef combo for 3-4 people, and it was the perfect amount for us. The rib eye was definitely our favorite, loved the banchan, and the soybean stew was so flavorful. Quality and GREAT kbbq fix in AZ!"
"I came here for happy hour and I was not disappointed. They had so many options on happy hour, and it goes until 7pm. It was very busy when we went, but our server did a great job of making sure we got everything we needed. We enjoyed some delicious appetizers and sushi rolls. They even have a robot bring you out your food. I would definitely come back!"
"DoorDashed this place to my hotel only my last day here in Arizona and good lord, everything was amazing! The raw fish from here was of much better quality than RA Sushi. The curry was flavorful, something a lot of food I've eaten in Tempe seems to lack. Haven't been here in person so I cannot speak for service but it took 40 minutes to be delivered, BUT it was also a Friday night."
"Sparse decor. The cutest thing about this joint is 4 year old Elizabeth who the restaurant is named for. She will draw you a picture if you ask.Service was a bit slow.Didn't care for the boa bun. The cashew chicken dish was tasty."
"Had dinner last night, and everything was excellent. Started with chicken dumplings and hot &sour soup. Yummy! Entrees: lemon chicken - lightly breaded, lots of white meat, delicious sauce. Lemon pepper chicken - very flavorful, ample chicken. To go containers are both microwavable and recyclable. Place was getting pretty busy when we left. Glad to see the support for local, small businesses."
"We were visiting from out of town for a family reunion and needed to bring Filipino options. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was ok. Was just nice to know there were Filipino options in the area. We dined in and took a lot of food to go. Prices were pretty much standard, just high. Idk why Filipino food is always on the higher end?!?***In response to the OWNER:I made a comment about the pricing. I tried to be gentle about the food quality. His response, however, was not gentle and quite confrontational. This caught me off guard. I want to be fully transparent with you and share that if the quality had been there, I would have been more than happy to pay the given prices. In the future, I would caution you against making stereotypes, lumping Filipinos together, and making assumptions after a review is posted about your restaurant."
"We dropped in to satisfy a craving for sushi and we were NOT disappointed. The rolls were fresh and made to order. The rolls were displayed nicely on the plates. Service was interesting, but attentive. The restaurant was very busy and that's always a good sign. They are pricey but worth it if you enjoy an all you can eat sushi experience. The place has a family vibe and looked clean."
