Was looking for a good taco spot, the kind of tacos that will leave the flour dust on your fingers, saw yelp reviews and knew right away I wanted to check this spot out. I had ordered the carne guisada (no gravy), it was so soft, tender and juicy! It's their own twist on it, and I wasn't disappointed. I also ordered the jumbo taco... it is very much JUMBO. Also check out the tortillas..!!! Oh and the salsa was Everything was amazing.

Solid food and good service. Always ask for the spicy salsa. Their enchiladas are solid as is their carne guisada. Their queso flameado is outstanding but will clog your arteries.

We were there on Friday around noon. The service was unbelievably slow and unfriendly. The waitress that wears her pony tail high was unfriendly and looked like she hated her job. It took our order, for 3 people, 45 minutes to come to the table!No one ever explained why the kitchen was so crazy slow. The kitchen staff looked over whelmed and unorganized. We could not get our drinks refilled in a timely manner. The tortillas came to our table after we were halfway through eating our plates. Terrible.

Had lunch here today. A total of 6 people. Waited for 1 hour for our food to be delivered. People that got there after us were served before we were. Told the young lady that I was not giving a tip due to the length of time we waited. Informed her that I understand that lunch time may get busy but when you only get 1 hour to take lunch and you use it just getting food that was ridiculous. We had our server bring to go containers after we got served since most of had only 10 minutes to eat. This will be the last time I eat here due to the long wait time.

The food taste great and the flour tortillas are homemade they give you alot for your money. I've never seen flour tortillas so large I will be a forever customer. The particular breakfast that I ordered was enough for three people and I still have plenty for two more days.

I went there a couple weeks ago. The food is OK. The ambience is not that good at all. It is old and dark in there. The staff is not very friendly. They just take your order and that's it. Services is OK.

I was going to a play nearby and was craving Mexican food. Since I didn't have a cooler to put my leftovers, I ordered an enchilada from the children's menu. I asked him to have them put tomatillo sauce. They didnt. It was smothered with cheese and gravy. They don't have vegetarian beans so they served me two sides of rice. The salsa is good and not too spicy and the chips aren't greasy. At first there was a fly in my area. I might go back only if my friends have an outing there.

Better than Ninjas and everything else in the area. 50 years dinning. This place is right out of Merida Yucatan. If you want ambiance and a more American fanciful atmosphere, you'll be better served going to Ninfas or Pappasitos. If you want authentic, you come here!

I'll call this place vintage. Atmosphere is cozy and familiar for those that grew up in the area. Drinks were good. Food, is a hybrid of Mexican authentic and Tex-Mex. My personal taste is Mexican authentic so I was not thrilled with my enchiladas made with flour tortillas. My friend got the caldo de rez and that was delicious. They offer breakfast all day. My daughter enjoyed her Mexican eggs, bacon, beans and flour tortillas. It's a traditional place to hang out but I think their food quality has room for improvement. If I go back, it'll be for the affordable drinks but I'll be more selective with what I order. To end on a positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
