"Food: Best Korean fried chicken I've ever had! I always have to get the fried chicken wings when I come visit. I know the chef personally went through all kinds of different trials and recipe tweaks to get it absolute perfection. The hamachi collar is one of the best I've had as well. One of the friends in our group said it was her favorite dish of the night besides the wings. The pad Kee mao is legit, so much flavor and we totally killed that dish. If you're into inventive creative dishes, try the kimchi fries, interesting way to make loaded fries. All the sushi rolls that we ordered were delicious, chef's kiss "mwah"! Service: Stop by the bar and say Hello to Michelle. She is the sweetest! I've talked to a couple regulars who love going here and I'm sure it's because of the friendly staff. Ambiance: I won't lie, the Kpop music videos distracted me like no other but it's so fun to watch! They all look like perfect dolls. It gives the place a fun vibe though."

"A hidden gem in a sea of strip malls off Sam Ridley. This charming spot is next to Subway and should not be passed up! We started our meal with Tom Kha which was very balanced in flavor, perfectly sweet, tangy and sour and addicting. The fresh spring rolls were also very good and I appreciate that it was cut into smaller pieces rather than served as a whole or half.For our entrees we got the curry fried rice with beef and Pad Kee Mao with chicken. Both were cooked just right (noodles were not over done, rice was also perfect) The only improvement would be the noodle dish, which could use a little more meat. Service was very friendly and attentive even as it got busier. Overall I am very pleased with my experience here and can't wait to go back to try more dishes!"

"Go to Drakes. We've lived in the area for over a year and just discovered Drakes a month ago. We wanted takeout sushi, and Drakes was closest. You wouldn't expect sushi from what looks like a neighborhood bar when you walk in, but it was excellent. We returned this evening for dinner and to try dining in the bar. The food was great, but the real surprise was the amazing service. In most restaurants, the servers may be attentive, but they seem focused on their own tables. At Drakes, the entire staff worked as a team. If there were an empty dish on the table, whoever walked by would ask if we were done and then take it away. It was great to see such fantastic service. Mahni and her peers did a great job taking care of us, and we look forward to our next visit. Really, you should go."

"I love the concept! Truly the best way to do All You Can Eat style sushi out there, I wish it was more present in other areas of the country (especially in my hometown), but I really enjoyed having this experience while I was visiting Nashville.For the uninitiated, conveyor belt style eating is done by pulling small plates off a conveyor belt that is continuously moving throughout the dining room. Patrons usually sit around a circular or oval shaped bar, but sometimes you see the conveyor belt meandering all over the place. They can be covered or uncovered, I really appreciated that the conveyor belt at Sushi Train was covered! Much more sanitary. In non-AYCE situations, your plate color corresponds to a price, the staff simply total up your plates.At sushi train, it appears there is an option to go a la carte, but at 25 bucks, I don't understand why you wouldn't go for the all you can eat option unless you just want a snack. Also, the conveyor belt is massive, centrally located to the restaurant and diving in and out or rows of seats. It's a large place, great layout, and the staff works hard to keep it stocked.As much as I loved the format, I will say that most of the sushi I ate was just OK and there were a couple that I didn't like. I did like that not just rolled sushi was circulating, but also nigiri, appetizers, cold salads, and desserts. Your waitress would also take special requests from you for anything you saw on the menu but not on the belt, included in the price!All in all, even if the sushi itself was pretty average, this place gets a 5 from me for their superior style of service, and a format that allows me to try small portions of a great variety of foods, as opposed to committing to large rolls limiting what I can try. I would definitely come back and bring friends!"

I had the salmon teriyaki that comes with hibachi veggies and I opted for fried rice instead of white along with some yum yum sauce on the side. It came out piping hot on a skillet, the presentation was appealing, the portion was hefty and the flavors were scrumptious. The restaurant itself can seat about 50-100 people so it's not very large in size but don't let that deter you from trying it out."

"If you dare to venture way down Nolensville Pike you'll be rewarded with this locals-favorite. The shopping center has all kinds of international markets and restaurants so we are excited to go back and try other places as well. The interior is cozy with a sushi bar and small tables. There were a lot of families here because it's casual and the portion sizes are good. They have a robust menu with Japanese and Korean entrees and sushi. I ordered the Jap Chae which is a Korean dish of glass noodles, sauteed peppers and beef. This comes with all the amazing Korean sides of kimchi and other accoutrements. My favorite was a spiced cold potato and I also devoured the cucumbers. The serving size is unreal--I had to get a to-go box and ate this for like 3 days after! My husband ordered the chicken katsu which was also a good portion and he didn't eat all of it too. The women who were working there were so kind and came over to check on us several times. We would come back here since everything was great."

"I made an online order and came to pick up at the designated time in the order confirmation. I went inside to give my name and pay for the order and I ended up waiting about 35-40 additional minutes at that counter for my food to be brought out, which is crazy. The girl said "It will be right out" and I proceeded to just stand there forever. I'm not sure if they were swamped or just short staffed, but a more realistic wait time would have been appreciated.The food itself was ok. I got chicken hibachi. The veggies and fried rice were on point but the chicken had somewhat of a gummy texture to it that I didn't like. Well seasoned but something wasn't right when I chewed it. I ended up not finishing the chicken and eating the rest. Apparently they throw in 2 random shrimp with your hibachi, no matter what meat you get. They tasted better than the chicken. If I ever order from here again, its going to be through a delivery service, but it won't ever be my first choice."

"Going to caveat that I'm from CA so my standard is a bit high when it comes to sushi. That being said, I was fairly satisfied with the quality I found here! We were a big party and ordered a large variety of items on the menu. From the sushi platters to the bento boxes, all the portions were huge and didn't leave anyone hungry. The service was great and handled our big table efficiently, all the food came out at a reasonable time. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and my husband got beef bulgogi bento box. When I say it's a bunch of food, trust me! There's sooooo much! Each box comes with your choice of 4 rolls, we both got the California roll, veggie and shrimp tempura, soup and salad, two crab cream cheese rolls, rice and your entree. All of the items were delicious! It was so much food, that we took all of our many entrees home. The leftovers were delicious too! The restaurant has plenty of parking, and a decent amount of tables. There is seating around the sushi bar too! We will be back!"

Overall a clean, simple and attractive space. Nice amount of room between tables. No draft beer but they do have the appropriate Japanese bottled beers. Gyoza came out hot and quite tasty. Nigiri and rolls were fine, it's not the best sushi I've ever had, but it's good, and I'd certainly come back for more. Lots of diners enjoying the non-sushi options, so the menu looks worth exploring."

Well I went to night and what can I say they never miss. The food always comes out hot and delicious. I love their spicy basil rice, thai dynamite, the Tom yum soup... ahhhhhhh you can't go wrong with anything you order here.The service is always good and they are very affordable. The inside is kinda small but I've never had to wait to be seated. There drinks aren't overpriced either. I love it and you will too."

"A true hidden gem tucked away in an assuming plaza in Madison (located next to Longhorn steakhouse)! I've been here several times now, a couple times before their expansion and a couple after. While I can't give a review on the hibachi side- I have nothing but good things to say about their sushi! A friend introduced me to this spot pre pandemic and I have been hooked ever since. You will not find a spot that offers a better deal while also maintaining the quality of food! At least I personally haven't. Is this the absolute best sushi? Hard to say as ultimately we are landlocked here in Nashville, but none the less there's still good and bad sushi to be had. I prefer only the good kind but to each their own. Arigato has the good stuff when you combine the price point, taste and quality. Arigato offers an impressive variety of really creative rolls. You can also see pics on their walls which is very helpful visually speaking. I think this spot is particularly good for beginners as there are plenty of rolls that are not raw yet still has lots of good raw options. I personally like both so I appreciate their offers. Moreover, Arigato is the only menu I have come across offering a choice in the rolls you want for your sushi combo meal! Meaning you have a list of rolls to choose from for a certain price point. I.Love.This. sooo much! Most sushi places will offer a combo but on their terms, such as a California with either philly, spicy tuna/salmon or alaksan roll - for example. For me I like picking from their Arigato special sushi menu- either two or three rolls for under $25 (a steal!)The price point honestly can't be beat when you choose one of these combos. A la carte, the rolls are similar to any other place you might find sushi. The deal really lies within these combos. Beyond sushi, I can tell some of their other hibachi or bento combos are also decently priced as well.Lastly, the service has always been pleasant here. All the ladies are alway kind and attentive. No complaints here. Also, it's never been too bad of a wait time either. I can't wait to go back. Don't wait. Bring your fellow sushi loving friends/ lovers/ family. You won't be disappointed."

The dine-in experience featured a much more colorful dish. The pickup order was somewhat bland. For clarity, I split half the dish than what is shown. But there were no red peppers or broccoli. Anyway, they could do a better job of acknowledging people when they enter their establishment. A quick, "just a moment" can go very far."

"We were really excited when Chada Thai first opened up as they were super close to our apartment and we absolutely love Thai food. We dined at the restaurant once and it was very, very good, but we ended up getting takeout during Covid and it was a complete 180 from the dine-in experience. The portions were very skimpy for what we paid and it was really a shame since we liked them initially. There has since been additional Thai restaurants that have opened up nearby and we've ended up choosing them over Chada Thai as they've been more consistent."

"This was definitely not expected, but I am grateful I tried Koi. I had not tried any of their locations before, so this was a pleasant surprise. We had a group of ten people in attendance where we were able to do separate checks. That was a great win on my end. They do add gratuity onto the checks for larger parties we came to learn.They offer as the name of the restaurant adds, Thai food and sushi. I had a bento box that offered both and the rest of the table got sushi largely. The guys next to me go their Thai food and really enjoyed their food. Everyone did actually. I think that was the most attractive concept about the restaurant was having iPad on each table that showed the offerings of their sushi. Visual of the sushi made it easier to determine what to order plus giving a breakdown of each sushi item. I haven't seen this in too many restaurants, and this was a great added touch.Service was great! We had a great time interacting with the servers and felt they were very accommodating to us and visited us when necessary.Parking is a bit tricky. It is a small lot off of a major road. Come prepared to search for parking if visiting during a high volume time. We came on a Monday evening and it was not difficult, but can see this being problematic on a weekend night or during lunch rush."

I didn't expect this place to have sushi and have been to two others around the area in search of finding a great neighborhood sushi spot; the others were let downs, so search continued, and this place was on the list. Learned my lesson from the last ones to check the menu out, which had some variety. Not all California rolls with other toppings. Sooo much better than the other places I've tried in the area, and I will be a regular. Super fresh. Great cuts and presentation, super friendly staff. "We came here to enjoy a little late night snack. I enjoyed one of the new specials of sushi which it was really really good especially the dipping sauce that came with it. I love the steam buns. They are always delicious and the tempura fried shrimp was really great with the steam bun. The fried rice was just as good as when they cook it on the hibachi. The noodles were OK for me. I didn't really care for the texture. The mixed vegetables was good too. The server was able to make recommendations of menu items and he was nice."

The husband is behind the sushi bar and the wife was running the rest of the show which doesn't equate for the best service and timing (along with them having to keep up with to go orders, as well). Although, Mrs. Lee was doing the best she could on a busy Friday night! We waited for about an hour and half for our food. I loved that we were able to bring our own wine and drinks in. The rolls were delicious, all the food was fresh and tasty! Rolls we had: Titan, Playboy, 007, Chef's Special, and Kentrucky. Cannot go wrong with any of them. My brother had the ramen and he said it was incredible. We enjoyed our meal, but we all agreed we would try and do takeout next time instead of eating inside just because of the wait. Great place to eat good and support local, though!"
