"Okay I've been to Huey's downtown a few times since this review. And I'm here to say I still will not agree about the world famous burger BUT they have world famous flavored catfish and really tasty wings. AND the service is definitely world famous. I went in for lunch with my daughter today and Megan was my server. She was so kind to the both of us, very friendly and she didn't miss anything. She got really busy and still gave us great service. I really love going into Huey's now and it's definitely worth the trip. One star down cause the portions on the catfish are a bit small but the flavor is so good I'll probably keep getting them! Thanks Megan. If you don't like loud restaurants try and go for lunch during the week. Sometimes they play live music as well."

"So the food was not that great to me. I have the fish and chips, and it lacks flavor. Drinks there seem like a good time, though. The waitresses were on top of their game since I came there with at least 15 people that day. They were on top of the drinks and food. When things died down, they were a little lacks lol. The ambiance is pretty much an Irish pub vibe. They have outdoor seating, and it's in a nice setting. It may be great for a day of drinks, but I probably would go somewhere else when it comes to the food."

"This bar used to look really new in 2017 while the staff used to seem very experienced like they had been doing it for years. Tall boy cans seem to be the order of the day here and they have tall boys for beers I have never seen tall boys for before. The bartenders were really great, friendly, attentive, provided fast service and remembered my name every time I ordered. They have a small little patio on the side that was mostly filled with the smokers. This seems to be more of a sports bar vibe than anything else and they also have a decent menu and I've sampled some of the food and it is alright but there are way better options in the area these days. The parking lot is a bit small and often is full but it is usually easy to find street parking a block or so away. Overall this used to be a cool little spot to enjoy some sports. Back during my first few visits in 2017 I got the impression here that the staff were really nice folks and the bar offered fair prices and provided a nice comfortable venue so it was just a good spot to be if you were in the area. In the years since my first visit this bar just kept being less enjoyable to me. I used to always make sure to pay a visit to the Germantown Pub during every visit I made to Nashville but now I find it just isn't a place I want to stop at anymore as all the friendly bartenders seem to have left. Came here on a Monday and they had trivia night going on where tables could participate.Started off with a bowl chicken creole soup and it was so good, it left me wanting more. The salmon and veggie plate was a good healthy choice. Although the veggies were overcooked the salmon was cooked to perfection. I would definitely come back and try other dishes."

"I was eager to return back to Huey's after moving out to Georgia. I'm glad to say that the place and burgers are still as amazing as I remembered. I went around 6 on a Monday so there weren't a lot of servers it did seem like the waitress was in a rush to get to each table and get food out but she still did a great job even if I had to track her down to get the check. Great environment. I definitely will have to go back before flying back out."

Both meals were pretty decent and filling, though it wouldn't be my first choice. Still worth the try whenever you're in downtown dickson though!"

They hold special events from Bike Nights to Charity events as owners Bill Marchese & Rick believe in helping those in need & giving back.    Despite the limited menu selection they have a few tasty offerings. The special I have enjoyed is their Thursday steak night special or I order their Burgers Philly's & Wings. Their steaks and burgers have a fresh off The Grill taste & perfect sear with golden brown delicious steak fries. All cooked & proportionally seasoned to perfection & topped to my liking. My favorite app is their wings served hot tender & drenched in hot sauce with plenty of ranch for dipping.    Their simple selections, satisfying and I will order other menu item in my continued patronage here, The bar & wait staff, never miss their stride in service with their crowd of players attending Mon night poker they are making sure drink & food orders are fulfilled along with keeping patrons drinks supplied. The wait bar staff & cooks do an excellent I would recommend this place for a bar going experience.    Hadley's has an excellent accoustics & sound system which sounds perfectly, regardless of whose performing. There has never been a moment where the sound has been dissatisfying except if it was a band that did not appeal to me. My favorite performance here has been Cruisin Heavy they are regulars to the stage & have been consistent in their song sets. Outside of Poker Karaoke & events this is the live show I love coming to see. If you want to dance during the live performances or music they will clear some space in the dining area.
