"Very quint place Small and attentive Live music on weekends Food was delicious Steaks are worth it Shrimps good Smothered chicken was awesome Drinks was made well also Drinks was consistent also Which is hard to find"
"We had some time to kill before our reservations for dinner & found this local pub via a Reddit post. We were thrilled to find Buffalo Trace, a cool/casual space, and a board game that had been revamped by the team. We were super early so no live music yet, but we will def be coming back to check it out in the future. Had such a good time hanging out here! We didn't order any food, but looked like some solid options!"
"Fun local bar, amazing happy hour. Just moved to TN from CA and was shocked to see $2.00 beers. The crowd seemed like a lot of fun and the food looked good. Prices from 1999 , pool tables looked good and super inexpensive too! I'll be back."
"Very much like Chili's. The food was good and the atmosphere was good. Our water took good care of us, but there were only 5 people in the restaurant. I would go back."
"Food: Although this is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant their signature St. Louis ribs are to die for. The sweet sauce was perfect. The meat falls off the bone just looking at it. Heck, the bones are even edible they are done so well. For sides we tried the hush puppies, which the spicy sauce was good but the puppy was too hard. Might have been left in the fryer just a little long. The Mac n cheese was good. And this also comes with Cole slaw, also good. The waitress was super accommodating and let us split the half slab of ribs because we were having dinner in four hours.Service is great. Numerous employees helped out and asked how things were. Drinks were filled as needed. Friendly.Parking: found a free spot out on the street as mentioned in numerous reviews. We came at almost 2p so this probably helped. Can see why this place gets great ratings. They do food the delicious way and take care of their clientele. Pricing is good with half a rack of ribs and two sides at $20 in Oct 2024."
"A-OK (3 stars). We were wandering Beale St. and this place struck as inviting. It had draft beer options, and some open seats, so in we went. We sat at a small table near the front door, and listened to the band for a bit. My brother bought a couple or wristbands, which I think acted as cover for this place, and I think, other places. This info came after a few beers, so I didn't quite get the concept. From our seats, we noticed a door in the wall, and as we watched people walk through it, thought we heard more music. I think we just found the cafe, as where we started was not a very good place for food. From this building we noticed tables and chairs out front, and this was the find of the night. My brother and I could now enjoy live music and watch the action on Beale St. Perfect. Tempted make this four stars, but since we did not dine here, I am reluctant to do so. Bottom line: OK, 4 stars. It was a great place to sit and drink (and people watch)."
"You know I can't believe this is actually my first review to Landers Center however I have been to this location before-- sometimes the parking is pretty hectic and sometimes it's a little bit chaotic and sometimes it's a little more than overpopulated because most of these events tend to have a sellout crowd--most of these events here do quite well it's just it gets really chaotic when it's time to one park for the and then to but I have to say this particular time not the case-- it could be possible because this is the kids event it was a family oriented event that it was it was not over populated but it was a nice size crowd for the type of event and there were tons of kids which is totally expected gaining entry to the parking lot was anything actually attending today's event was well received and way more pleasant of a visit then my past visits -- May be having a oversize price sign at the light where you turn into Landers Center would help for patrons to go ahead and have their cash maybe just more so this little signage before you actually approach the area where they're taking the money so you get the patrons a heads up they have their money--The parking staff was operating on anymore I guess you could say more Swift basis they seem to be more attentive to get people on in and out which is a great specially when you're trying to be on time for you than you wanna spend the majority of your time in a line to pay for parkingIn all Landers Center hosted Sesame Street Live in a five star way today!"
"Tuesday night with incredible music... this is at least 4 stars.Food is not a big win, and the drink selections are decent at best... but the tunes make up for it."
"This is my 3rd time visiting the Minglewood Hall and each time has been a delight. This is a multi-use venue. I visited once with a friend who was getting a piercing, once for a play (Down on Beale Street), and last night for a listening party. All events were in different areas. Last night's area was a bit of a surprise. I never knew of the room that it was hosted in, but it is nice. The venue is located in the heart of Midtown. It has adequate parking and space. Most concerts are stand-up so be prepared for that. Overall, the space is clean and the staff is friendly. Last night, I attended a Listening Party for Zii and it was wonderful! Check out the picture and video I posted."
"This is very much a college bar but it's actually quite nice and not divey at all (outside appearances are deceiving!!!) I came here as part of the Memphis Comedy Festival and really enjoyed the atmosphere. However parking was a pain - I lucked out with an empty spot but I swear it took me like 15 minutes at the end of the night to get my car out of the parking spot and onto the street! So the outside of the building has tons of really cool graffiti. Walking inside, it's a nice long space with booths on the left and a big open room on the left with a stage to one side and lots of tables. The bar area is in the back but I didn't get anything to drink or eat so this review is not much help in that area. But I can verify that the atmosphere is geared towards a hipster and recent grad crowd plus acoustics were nice as we could actually talk normally instead of having to shout. It's a decent place to spend an evening out!Yelp Review: 18/2017"
"A Sunset Symphony concert at the Levitt Shell was the perfect way for us to end our stay in Memphis. With a stop at the Brooks beforehand, the Shell has history! Elvis gave his first public performance here, and the summer concert series goes back generations. This is a family friendly activity make sure to fill the donation buckets to keep it going. Bring your chairs, blankets, it gets crowded early! There were some local food trucks, but some people bring their own food, Ravinia style. We loved the music program of pop hits going back a few decades, some symphony standards, and some singers gave us chills. Walkin' in Memphis with full singers? "What's Goin' On" with Symphony backing the score? Shell, Yeah!"
"We went on a Monday night so there was not a big crowd. We didn't feel like going downtown so we thought we would visit this location. Super cool building to listen to some good music. The service was amazing and was only second to the music. There was a $5 cover charge per person which I think was a steal given the quality of entertainment. We will visit again the next time we are in Memphis!"

Main & Monroe, is absolutely delicious! We had the appetizer steak bites, Crawfish Étouffée and the chicken strips. The atmosphere with live music was extremely enjoyable for a Saturday night out with friends. The dining experience offered here is unlike any other in the area hands down. I assure you! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Go support a great veteran owned local business!

I was staying nearby at the Cotton House hotel and decided to walk down to Hey Joe's for dinner one night. I'm sure glad I did. They have an excellent covered patio (that was playing the Women's college basketball tournament on the big screen -- bonus points for that guys!) and terrific burgers. You order at the window, and then grab a table and they run your food to you when it's done. I went with the Nirvana burger, got a side of tater sticks (really long tater tots), and went with the local Amber ale that was on tap. Great choices all around.

Food was absolutely delicious. Empty plates all around. My waiter, Sean, was just freaking marvelous. I told him I had my Frenchie with me and without asking, Sean provided my little guy a bowl of ice water. Sean went above and beyond as far as service goes. We are visiting from NYC and Sean made us feel VERY comfortable and at home. I had the 'Cue sampler. Pork, chicken and brisket. Delicious. The wife had the pulled pork salad and my aunt the chicken platter. Everything was delicious and we all finished every. Thank you Sean for helping to make this a terrific experience. See you soon.

If you are in search of great music while on Beale Street, this is it and totally worth the $3 cover charge (and tip jar $$$ for the band). On the other hand, those who desire quick bar service, this is not your place. There was one bartender and it took at least 20 minutes to place an order. Not much of an issue for me because I chose to remain thirsty & cocktail-less during our visit.

This is a great event center. It's in a safe area. There is plenty of parking. The concessions are okay, not great. Good security. My only complaint is that at my event there that was two days; it was so very extremely cold that we thought we were going to have to leave the Women's Christian Conference. It was not just me everyone I talked to was freezing. Some women went and bought blankets. I wore a short sleeve dress that came to my ankles and a sweater shawl. At the break I went out and got my jacket that i had worn from the previous night and put it on. I also wore my socks on my hands. My friend wore her house slippers. You could have hung meat in the center. I don't think I will be back. We were all miserably cold.

We stopped here for drinks after visiting the Shoals Theatre. Great atmosphere, the band was good, and enjoyed the lemon drop martinis.

"First time at Sunday Songwriters Night at the Mockingbird Theatre. Located in Building 6 at the Factory in Franklin. The venue offers an up close musical experience with a quality sound system. This unique space offers an intimate setting that is perfect for date night or GNO. I didn't try the bar this time but it would be nice to grab a drink before a show or stop by for Happy Hour. After always going to Nashville for music it is so nice to find a great venue with free parking in Franklin. It seems like they are adding more shows so check out their Facebook page or Eventbrite. I would prefer they ditch the plastic cups & paper tickets. Looking forward to the next show!"
"Was a guest performer for Sock It To Me Burlesque: Legends show this weekend. The staff was friendly, the servers were busting their bums & looking adorable doing it. It was a packed house & then some. My double drop shot was just juice & vodka: no sugar rim, no simple syrup but i drank it anyway bc it was $12. Great experience, the bar menu was standard fare & it was quick af. Pop in for a show & a nosh."
"Grungy is the right word for this dark space, very plain, dark, with a stage, a small bar with a wide selection of beers, and 1970's style pleather stools. We went for a stand up comedy show featuring local comedians. The show was about 2 hours long with a $10 cover. They did tell us over the phone the cover was $5 but oh well, still pretty cheap. Those dudes have to make a living some how. Comedians were funny, crowd was laid back. Pretty cool music too. Very unpretentious."
"COME HERE FOR THE BISCUITS!!! Biscuits are big, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. It's the only thing that's worth 4 stars, other than the service. The people here are really friendly and typical southern hospitality feel. I also had an omelette but it wasn't anything special, if anything jt was kinda rubbery and too salty. Their saving grace is by far the biscuits."
"A decent place to get a drink with friends. Enjoyed the atmosphere and received good service. Food isn't anything to write about but the beer and entertainment is."
"The name "Bar DKDC (Don't Know Don't Care)" only tells half the story. To me, it's a restaurant/lounge.This is one of my go-to restaurants for good, small-to-medium-sized plates. They have great portion sizes! The cool thing about DKDC is they regularly change the menu, but keep items that are huge crowd favorites like the Chicken Havanas (DELISH). I've never had a bad dish.DKDC is full of character and comfort.I love the decor, I feel like I'm in an artsy loft whenever I go there. On weekends, you might stumble upon an awesome local band. It's a must-do, if you're in Memphis.Oh, before you leave, be sure to take a $5 pic in the photo booth with your pal."
"Our chef, Michael, came by to get an assessment of the meal - we'd already raved to our server. I had fried catfish on a bed of "Gouda grits" with an ettoufe (shrimp stock, gouda, andouille sausage, celery, etc.) plus a side of steakhouse spinach (sauce of heavy cream, onions, bacon) while Deb & Kim shared a monster hamburger and seasonal salad."
"We realize a new place has kinks to work out so we are willing to make allowances. We were ignored upon arrival, but finally recognized after a few interactions. Our server was OK, but when I asked about the wedge salad advertised online she was unaware. I opted for the regular salad and the spouse got a rice bowl.We were both disappointed. The salad was bagged greens with a few additions, bagged croutons and bottled dressing. The spouse's rice bowl didn't have enough sauce and said the guacamole was not appetizing. The atmosphere has potential to be a fun tavern and I'm sure the fried and nacho options are good. There just needs to be more attention paid to the healthier items"
"Love this restaurant! All the sides are included with the price. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. Oh and the onion rings were the best I've ever had. Seriously they were amazing! Not one ounce of grease and the batter was amazing! Cooked to a perfect golden brown. The fries were great as well. Great value for the money and excellent service! Loved the atmosphere Highly recommend this restaurant away from the strip in German Town."
"My friend Claude was getting married to a lovely young lady he'd met at Déjà Vu in Nashville. Déjà Vu is owned by Larry Flynt of Hustler fame I'm told, and caters primarily to the few remaining men of the heterosexual persuasion. I flew in from Tampa and rented a nifty Cadillac-Buick for the occasion. To me a Cadillac-Buick was something big enough to climb in and out of without getting a clubfoot or a withered arm. I was going to meet Claude's best man JD Tripley, a football coach at a local academy and former Vol. JD and I had crossed paths a few times before during a variety of adolescent male bonding rituals. The Rebel Bar was one of those establishments where you weren't likely to find too many polo players. A few tables from the oilcloth family, dark booths along two walls adorned with a filling station clock and some faded posters from when UT actually had a football team. I saw two cigarette machines, a stage for the band and wood floor for the Fred and Gingers, and a long bar with swivel stools and naugahyde padding for the elbows of customers who needed to think it over awhile longer before they went home to the cuss fight. A friendly note: I wouldn't ride your Kawasaki motorbike down here if you know what I am saying to you?The tunes on the jukebox indicated that music began with Hank Williams Jr. and ended with Patsy Cline, but today's anthem was Gary P. Nunn singing, "If You Don't Believe I Love You Honey, Just Ask My Wife." Much of what you needed to know about the ambiance of the Rebel Bar could be found in the black lettering on the white sweatshirt worn by the convivial lady behind the bar. I didn't normally take the time to contemplate such things, but this one asked to be studied more closely. In black lettering, the message smartly said:GO %&*# YOURSELF, IN CASE I FORGOT TO MENTION IT EARLIERI asked the bartender her name. She said she'd like for it to be Drew Barrymore, but she'd had to settle for Kelly Sue Stinett. She had creamy skin, a sharp little nose, shrewd eyes of swimming-pool blue, and American hair...amber waves of grain. A lady somewhere in her early forties who'd seen two husbands run off with go-go dancers, a mobile home burn down, and a Ford Ranger wash away in a flood. But all that was purely a guess on my part, it had to do with the constant 'so-what' expression on her face.Kelly Sue came around to see if we needed more whiskey, JD ordered another vodka and cranberry, his health drink, and then he took the scenic route to the men's room by way of Too Tight and Too Cheap, who had just come from a hard day of separating hens from roosters at the chicken plant in Culleoka. You couldn't help but look at Too Cheap like you would a wild animal on the Discovery Channel. With a margarita in one hand, Marlboro in the other, and a look in her eyes that just said she was there to ruin your life. She was laughing heartily now at JD's jokes, thought it was hilarious when my friend asked her what kind of sexual harassment she liked best. Too Tight lit up when JD asked her what color car she wanted.I don't remember much more about that evening. Claude and the rest of the wedding party showed up pretty soon thereafter and ordered 6 rounds of shots in succession. They didn't really agree with the 3 Irish whiskeys I'd already gotten on the outside of but I guess I was in no worse condition than everybody else when the sheriff came around with a couple of deputies to load us into the back of a squad car to take us back to JD's house. They take pretty good care of their football coaches around here, made me glad JD didn't coach some sissy sport like soccer."
"TJ Mulligan's Trinity offers a great menu variety full bar entertainment & special events on select night from bands to Poker with Memphis Grinders Poker Club. I've been a patron at TJ Mulligan's Trinity for many years since I could remember. When it came the menu selection I've always been pleased with sandwiches like cheese steak with Au Jus or a corn beef press. Burgers are juicy succulent with a side of fries all have been piping hot with flavor. But what I would recommend their Boom Boom chicken with Boom Boom sauce on a bed of fries. I like a little kick to my food so that's my favorite. Outside of dining I love watching the live bands perform at TJ Mulligan's Trinity. My most favorite form of entertainment though would be the poker. I use to play here when another league use to run it on select nights. Now Memphis Grinders Poker Club runs the games on Sunday's 3&5, Wednesday's at 7&9 at TJ Mulligan's Trinity. The service here is great offering a full bar with the coldest beers & a mixologist who'll mix you anything you want. Their service is quick and attentive as the largest parties they have there are on Sunday & Wednesday nights with Memphis Grinders Poker Club. They are top of it regardless the size of group. They also keep their dining rooms & bar areas very clean as they take pride in their establishment & patrons that walk through.Don't take my word for it come see it for yourself.Be sure to like Mulligan's & Grinders on FB and tell a friend.TJ Mulligan's Trinityhttps://www.facebook.com/tj.m.cordova/Memphis Grinders Poker Clubhttps://www.facebook.com/memphisgrinderspc/"
"I was staying at the Clarion so It decided to try out the restaurant in the lobby. I had a burger and fries and it was good! The burger was moist and seasoned very well. The price was reasonable; it was $13.00. I will definitely eat here again!"
"Kimbros is the one-stop-shop for a fun night in Franklin. It has the dingy grit of your favorite dive bar, paired with a certain comforting warmth from its charmingly cluttered decor. For a cover of only $10, you're treated to live music, several nooks to settle into, and three bars to order from. We opted to sit outside, where the patio is adorned with picnic tables which invite lingering conversations & refills. I ordered a gin and tonic from the engaging outdoor bartender, . It was made just how I like it (3 limes, 3 straws) - thanks, Conner! There's a reason Kimbros is considered a Franklin institution, now go & see for yourself !"
"We had the best time coming here for the Taylor Swift drag brunch! Not only were the performers so entertaining, our bartender Kat was fantastic!! So professional and attentive but also so nice and friendly! Had a great time talking to her and the drinks were made were great. We all had food and I personally recommend the biscuits! We would come here all the time if we lived closer but as it was, we had a blast!"
"Rockhouse Live Midtown located inside the old Poplar Lounge offers the best in local rock entertainment. Even though I do enjoy a good rock show & great food I found Rockhouse Live Midtown to be a bit small & crowded for my taste. But don't let that stop you from enjoying the entertainment. Outside of the entertainment space Rockhouse Midtown is a awesome bar for shooting pool & all your bar favorites when it comes to their menu. I had their tater tots & I was very satisfied & will order it with my burger & wings. As far as cover charges they are average & reasonably priced for the acts they offer. The thing that is a small turn off for me is the availability of parking at this location & the parking lot its self it reminds me a lot of Wind Jammer but a little bit morr torn up. Despite the small disadvantages I love this location for karoke & a low key evening over a game of pool with friends I use to hang out with at Wind Jammer. I could overlook the small things in the future I mentioned as Rockhouse Live Midtown has the potential to be my new Wind Jammer."
"Commodore Grille is found inside the Holiday Inn that features live local musical talents each night. While staying at the Holiday Inn, my husband and I came to this restaurant twice and ordered a meal to go once. With each time we interacted with this restaurant, I had 3 different experiences. With the first time, I made a to go order for dinner and got:Bourbon Glazed Salmon, $18 prior to tax ($19.67 after tax)- This salmon meal came with rice pilaf, a large side of green beans and a side of toasted bread. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the bourbon glazed sauce was sweet but excellent with the fish. The portion size of this meal is excellent for one person. I really enjoyed my meal, but it was rather pricey. But being that this is salmon, I expected it. The second time we came to this restaurant, we decided to stop by for some drinks (a beer for my husband and a glass of dessert wine for myself) while listening to live music. The service was friendly and I liked that our server always checked up on us and never pushed us to purchase anything else. The third time we came, we ended up getting:Side order of fries, $4.50 prior to tax- Served hot and crisp, a pretty nice portion. Nachos, $12 prior to tax- Major disappointment and would not order these again.Glass of wine, $8 prior to tax- My husband opted for a glass of red wine and he seemed fine with his choice. ------------------- (Total= $26.03 after tax, prior to tip)I wish we had the server from the previous night. But instead, we had Cyndi (at least that is what it says on our receipt). She was not friendly and just seemed annoyed when I only ordered fries. She had said "just fries" with a judge-y look. I decided to also order nachos too since we did have a late lunch and a no much of a dinner earlier. I think she was a little better with service later on but her attitude really could have been better. With the live music overall, most of the artists were great. There was one that was just really odd and a few that were okay. But I think it was nice to hear music from the area (we are in Music City after all). I really would only come here for the music. Please note that parking is self parking (not free) and valet only (also not free). But because I was staying in the hotel, my parking was included (in which I paid $25 prior to tax, each night. And yes parking is taxed here..) so not sure how much you would pay if you came."
"The perfect entertainment spot in Memphis for the blues. It's tight and crowded but the music that night was stellar. I never realized how sweet the harmonica sounded until hearing them play. Mr. Vincent Johnson & his band did their thang."
"We had a charmed day, tour and visit. Met Bob the rooster. And co-owner too who was exceptionally cordial and welcoming. The museum and grounds include significant Americana, Johny Cash, Elvis, and a painting featuring Bob Dylan. Clean. Well cared for and presented. Loved it. We arrived on a quiet fall day, out of season and couldn't promise the same experience for others. There is a gathering area to enjoy music performances in the summer months that wasn't open. There wasn't any food sold and I'm unaware if guests can bring any snacks to the events."
"Delicious food and atmosphere. Located in downtown Kingston Springs this place is a hidden gem"
"Saw the Ohio Players here last night one of the all time great funk groups. The shows at Bluesville never disappoint with someone taking the time to outfit the place with a sound system that would be suitable in a venue 3 times the size. This means you hear everything the way musicians and vocalists are meant to be heard. Seats are regular size so if you need more space buy two. Great place and keep the shows coming."
"Had a quick beer. Disappointed that the college football championship on Monday night was displaced by Bingo . Not a pub for sports viewing. Can't comment on the food, we didn't stay to try any. Beer was fresh and cold. Staff was friendly."
"5/5 every single time. Young Ave Deli has the most consistent food and service of anywhere in Memphis. I would recommend the mozzarella sticks, fries for the table, and literally anything else because it has never been wrong :) sitting on the patio when the weather is nice is my favorite"
"Fun bar and bbq restaurant with live music, as found along Broadway, downtown Nashville. Loud fun and good food is what F&L is all about. It's a great stop following an afternoon of browsing the cute shops of lovely Franklin, Tennessee."
